Sola's blood had turned to ice. Her pose became much more aggressive in a slightly defensive matter.

A howl of triumph filled the air and his laugh echoes across the blanket of snow. "Look before you! Join my side, or this is your fate...."

A hiss hung in the air. "You would be a fool to attack me." Sola strode forward. Her manner of fighting was different from others, she practiced the art of speed. Many tigers threw their weight around and use straight power, but Sola use sharp, fast movements. "I will tear you limb from limb..."

"I will tear you limb from limb!" Sola's thundered across the valley, and the wolves laughed. The blood that stained her paws dripped onto the white snow next to a large head of matted orange fur...

Coal growled. This tiger was looking for a fight. Coal was ready. He was a true Fighter wolf. He was skilled at fighting. His speed, stamina, and speed were deadly for a wolf of five years of age. Coal snarled as he and the tiger circled each other. He noticed how the tiger flicked her tail. Coal knew that when cats flick their tails, they were ready to pounce. Coal flicked his and then pounced. He bit down quickly on the tiger's shoulder. He then leaped away, dodging any oncoming attacks. Coal then circled the cat again. He knew that this was going to be a deadly fight. But he didn't want to die by a tiger's paw. He wanted to die by Tala. His heart wanted her now, but he had to take care of this intruder first. "Take this!" growled the black wolf. He sprang at the tiger and knocked her on her feet. Coal clawed at her chest and then bit down on the tiger's leg, throwing her into a pile of rocks. Coal snarled his might and readied himself for a counterattack. Before anything else happened, a howl went up.

Tala was assembling the wolves, and she had to make sure Firefly was looked after while she and the others were gone. The wolves lined up behind her, waiting for the command to move forward. Tala prepared herself. Everyone was ready. She looked at Firefly and smiled "You stay here, okay? And don't worry about Sola. We'll bring her back." She said, nuzzling the pup. Then, standing straight, she looked to the other wolves. "Everyone ready?" She asked, but then, before everyone could respond, a howl went up from somewhere in the distance. Tala's ears perked. She looked quickly over her shoulder at the others "Let's move." She ordered, and the rest took off after her. Tala and the others ran at full speed. Soon, they made it to the scene. Immediately, Tala noticed the stranger tigress, who was fighting Coal. Tala let out a "hmpf." As she watched them fight. Both were ferocious fighters, and Coal actually seemed to be holding his own against it. But Tala didn't like what she saw next. Coal had begun to go after Sola. Tala immediately rushed after them, and the wolves followed. "No! Stop!" Tala barked as she approached Coal. "She's a friend! Stop attacking her." She said, stepping in the middle of Sola and Coal.
Coal stopped as Tala entered the brawl. He wouldn't dare attack her. Coal backed away as Tala tended to the tigress. "This intruder wanted a fight," said Coal. "Fighter wolves like me don't back down," said Coal. "What about if Tala wants to fight you?" asked one of the other wolves. Coal's ears went back as he looked at the wolf. He couldn't hurt Tala. "Then....then I......would have to....decline," said Coal. "Coward," said a voice. Coal looked up to see a crow passing. "Who are you calling a coward?" he growled. "Not you wolf, the other coward is arriving!" yelled the crow. He flew off in a rush. Coal wondered who the howl came from. The howl rose again, this time joined by two more wolves. Coal looked back and growled. The howl was distinct. Coal howled back a warning: stay away. The first howl answered back feriously. Followed by the other two. Then a fourth, very far howl of a lone wolf. This wolf was very familiar. Coal knew who is was, but wasn't really sure. He turned back to Tala. "I do apologize."

Zelos watched the fight intently, and he reared up shadowboxing and whined stridently as he got caught up in the exhibition of it. It was a brief fight however, soon interrupted by yet more wolves--howls sounded off in the distance. As exciting as watching a fight was to him, the situation was becoming way too dangerous for his liking. The sheer number of teeth at hand really turned up the heat on his alertness and caused him to snap out of his spectacle driven stupor.

Though it was challenging for him; he decided to get away while the getting was still good, and vanished from their sight over the hill, but he couldn`t bring himself to actually leave, and stayed within earshot of them; just in case more fighting were to break out between them as his interest in the situation was thoroughly piqued by that point.

The otter seemed like it was ignoring Squeeky, and he also walked away. She sighed and leaved. Squeeky continued her search for a new home, trying to ignore the group of wolves. Her tail was dirty, so she decided to take a bath in a nearby river. Squeeky thought she was alone there, but she was wrong about that.

A horse was nearby, he didn't look mean, he was very slim. But Squeeky got a little nervous. She hurried up to wash herself, and jumped out of the river. She looked at the horse, that had some ribs visible, and she felt bad for him. Squeeky slowly approached the horse.

Zelos’s ears twitched as he heard something moving close by; too close for comfort considering the circumstances. He glanced around, searching for the culprit only to have his gaze settle upon a squirrel; far from an uncommon sight in those parts. He snorted at the creature irritated “What do you want rat-thing?” he asked curtly, but didn`t wait for an answer “can’t you see I’m busy?” he affirmed callously swishing his tail; keeping his ears zeroed in on the assemblage of wolves and tigers below restlessly as he spoke.  He knew it was a bad time for an idle chat with another creature, but at the same time he didn`t really mind having some company; though his overconfident attitude had a tendency of pushing others away.
Poe was not surprised by the wolf's strength. It was to be expected of the monstrous wolf who almost single-handedly tore the entire community apart. How she hated that wolf. She remembered all the things she saw..images too horrible to speak of. As she picked herself up from the ground, having suffered minor scratches and bruises, she snarled and crouched, shaking the dirt from her fur. The scoundrel had turned his attention to the other tiger. Now was Poe's chance. She slowly and silently crept up on him fr behind, but just when she was about to pounce, a pack of wolves arrived. Poe retaliated by holding her ground instead. "Must be reinforcments responding to the howl.." She thought. Tencing up, she watched as a she-wolf broke up the fight, and she was surprised to see the male yeild to her without hesitation. Poe didn't understand what was going on. Apparently, the wolves seemed to be defending the other tigress, which was strange, but then, this was how the animals used to treat each other before the war. Each animal, no matter how big or small, used to work together. But Poe looked at the male and the she wolf now. They seemed to know each other. Maybe they were mates. Poe snarled in disgust at the thought of anyone being so close to Volkov, but then, the she wolf called him Coal. Poe suddenly spoke "You? You're Coal? I thought Volkov finished you off for sure, seeing as you refused to join him." She said. She sat down. Then looking over her shoulder, she noticed the colt was no longer there. She let out a sigh, upset that she let her meal get away. She had nearly forgot about it.

Tala tended to Sola, who appeared to be fine, the tigress was more than capable of defending herself apparently. Tala then looked at the other tigress, who was watching from a short distance with a puzzled expression. Coal was being egged on by the other wolves in the pack, and Coal couldn't help but give in to their teasing. He apparently felt something for her, and Tala noticed the sincerety in his voice when he apologized.

Tala softened up. For some reason, all the initial hatred she felt for Coal was starting to slip away. She couldn't explain why, it may have just been because he seemed so normal, and truly repentant. He appeared to hate his Uncle as much as the others. She smiled a small smile, and looked at him. "Don't apologize to me," She said, and then gesturing to Sola "This is Sola, she is a friend of ours, and especially the pups." She said smiling. "She was checking out the origin of the sounds we heard before you showed up." She said, then remembering suddenly the situation at hand, she looked to the strange Tigress, who was now addressing Coal. Tala walked over to her, she was licking her wounds, but didn't appear defeated, in fact she was still a little defensive. Tala approached her cautiously. If the tigress tried anything, she had her pack to back her up. "My name is Tala, future Alpha of the Catori Clan, who claims this territory. What is your business here?" She asked calmly, with an air of authority but also with much grace.

Coal looked at the other tiger emerging from the bushes. "I am NOT Volkov!" yelled Coal, his voice ending in a deep growl. "He is my uncle, not I!" he yelled. "I've tried hundreds of times to rid myself of this burden," said Coal. "Volkov is nowhere in me. The only thing I have of him is my coat color," said Coal. "But mine is better looking," said Coal. He turned to Sola. "Forgive me for my actions," said Coal. "I have too much of a Fighter wolf in me," he said. "Maybe Volkov does have something lingering in you," said one of the wolves. "He doesn't," growled Coal, feeling the fur on his back rise. That's when the howling erupted again. Coal turned to see a large brown wolf heading towards him. The wolf had a missing eyes. Two more joined him. One was missing an ear and the other had scars on its chest and right cheek. "True rogue wolves," growled Tala's father. Coal growled. "Rogues!" he yelled. He turned to Sola and Tala. "Sola, help me fight," he said. He then looked over at the other tiger. "You help too, please," said Coal. Coal looked at Tala. He winked at her and then whirled around, dashing toward the brown wolf. "Coal, we are here for you!" yelled the wolf. Coal and the brown wolf collided. The two fought. "Leave now, Antonio!" yelled Coal. He and Antonio rumbled. "Our master isn't through with you, Coal," said Antonio. Coal snarled and bit down on Antonio's head. "Leave or die!" yelled Coal. "You can't hurt me," said Antonio, biting down on Coal's leg. "I can rip out your other eye like I did last time!" yelled Coal, scratching Antonio on the face. The other two wolves passed them and headed for the pack and Tala. Coal's eyes widened. "Tala!" he yelled. Antonio pinned him down and went for his throat. Coal growled and knocked Antonio to the side.
Sparky watched as the rougue wolves attacked the others. There was a large fight breaking out, humoring him. He almost laughed. "Them wolves just never stop, no." He walked around, skimming behind Poe and running up a hill. His ears rotated, and his nose twitched. He smelled horse. "Horse? No, that's not normal." Sparky ran around, looking for the horse. Then, he came across the horse, and a squirrel. "Oh, hello there fellow animals! Have ya seen the fight down there, silly carnivores. And horsey, where did ya come from? I never seen something like you." He smiled slightly, going up on his back paws. In reality, Sparky wanted to go mediate the fight, but who wouldn't eat him there? Just the other day he saw a tiger dragging around an otter.

Zelos heard a lot of noise coming from over the hill again, and he knew the fight was back on. Unable to resist watching, he strode back to the top of the hill. Right as he was settling into enjoying himself yet another creature strolled up on Zelos, catching him off guard yet again, “You`re one to talk” he replied cynically to the odd creature that had invited itself into conversation “The real question is—what are YOU?” He looked the creature over critically “you`re one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen” he stated drolly, smirking mockingly.

“Oh and as a matter of fact I have seen the fight” he added “I`m trying to watch it right now actually” he said in a ‘take the hint’ kind of way. “Isn`t it one of the coolest things you`ve ever seen?” he said zealously “Check out the intensity—I`ve never seen a fight so close before; and man--I`ve really been missing out” he chided “—and not that it`s any of your business, but I hail from the other side of that forest “he stated as he tipped his head in the direction of the forest. He was in fact disappointed to hear the creature say it had never seen another like him around, he had hoped he`d meet up with his family in these lands, but it seemed that he`d need to be on his way again before long as that seemed unlikely.

Volkov paced back in fourth. His brain was overwhelmed with questions. Ideas. Plans. His insides felt like they were going to just simply fly out of him at any moment. he was tired of hiding; tired of living in secret in the disgusting bog lands. The air smelled of rotting flesh and he was sick of it. He wanted the smell of warm, fresh blood.

Ever since his defeat at the war, he had never been the same. He used to be a fearless leader filled with fire and passion. Now, he's a lonely wandering coward, barely getting enough food to keep him functioning. He suddenly had an idea; a crazy idea...

Sparky's tail rose up and then thudded on the ground. "I'm an otter. And I don't come from around these parts, I'm from, eh, quite a ways away." He smirked. "It's a great fight. I've never seen creatures so meek. They didn't even touch each other. Until those ugly ones came around." Sparky looked at Squeeky and Zelos. "I'm Sparky, by the way, in case ye cared. Now if ya don't mind, I'm going to watch." He darted up the hill and looked down at the fight. He rose up on his hind legs to get a better look. The fight was intense, and he was completely into it.

Four Seasons: Spring
Setting
The setting takes place in a land that feels the extremities of each season, in Spring, the flowers bloom abundantly and radiantly. In Summer, the heat is brutal and tries even the strongest souls. But now, Volkov has been brought to his knees and has retreated for a time. Now for a new season. A season to rebuild and restore relationships, or perhaps for new ones to blossom. Volkov is not dead, and this season of peace may indeed last for a single Season. With the scent of trouble lurking somewhere in the shadows, will the community be restored, bonds be reestablished, and will they be strong enough to withstand what the new year might bring, or to stnd up to Volkov and his army if he should return?

The creatures of the land have been divided and wared against each other the entire winter before, but with the new Spring they have a chance to pull together, while not all will take the opportunity.Traitors will rise and join Volkov's army, while meantime the community will reunite. History

This RP is to be the first of 4 RP's, that is, if it does well. The characters developed and the bonds that they forge in this RP will be carried into the next Chapters, so this RP in particular is important for character development.

Also, whoever wishes to play as Volkov the Wolf must be the first to message me about it.

Rules are simple:

-No controlling other people's characters

-Romance is allowed (G)

-No powers/odd coloring/etc. Keep it as realistic as possible beyond the fact that the animals can obviously talk..
