Oak glared at Midnight, and began to walk around the circumference of the cavern, looking at things.   He picked up a rock and chucked it at the wall a little bit in front of him. "Do you think this goes anywhere else, or are we stuck between here and our nest?" Oak asked his sister. "Also," he said, probably pronouncing a few words wrong somewhere or other, "I really don't think mom will kill us. We wouldn't taste very good anyway, and she'll need to fatten us up first." Oak laughed, which must sound strange coming out of the mouth of a hatchling dragon.
Midnight rolled her eyes. "I don't think it goes anywhere else but hey, who knows? We may be the only ones who know about this place!" she said excitedly. She climed the wall to a small ledge and looked down on her brother. "I claim this territory as mine." she said in a grown-up voice, which sounded halarious, as she teased her brother. She launched ehrself from the laedge, missed oak, and skidded across the floor, hitting the wall with a thunk. It didn't hurt but the shock made her say "Ow!' as she shook the dust off of her scales.
Oak laughed when Midnight "Claimed the territory" and when she hit the wall. "Do you think we should tell Skye? OF course, I'm not sure she'd want to come here anyway, she hasn't really done anything but sleep since we hatched." Oak then jumped at the same ledge and said "I oppose your claiming of an area! THe earth is master of itself, and we all need to learn that. We need to respect the elements and stuff and all live in peace." Then Oak grinned and said "That was my imitation of mom." he tried to carefully climb down, not wanting to hit the wall like Midnight, but he slipped halfway down and landed on his back.
Midnight rolled her eyes. "What ever" she looked around. "I think we should tell skye, after all, she is our sister." Midnight climbed another ledge. "This place is perfect to learn how to fight and practice flying." she launched herself from the ledge, but her newly developed wings weren't ready yet. She hit the ground and skidded a bit befor comeing to a stop, luckily NOT hitting the wall. "Well, atleast when our wings work." she laughed, folding them neatly back to her body. She climbed the ledge again and perched there, looking around. She looked older and more majestic as she looked around.
Celestia spotted the hole and giggled before speaking to the two inside the little cavern. "Be careful if you two hurt yourselves I won't be able to do anything." She realized that if Lightning or a rouge came by that would be a perfect place to hide them. Celestia added "And if I tell you to go in there don't question me and do it. I will not lie to you about dangers my children. While your aunt, great aunt, seccond cousin, grandmother, and uncle hunt them down whenever possible, Rouges will try to kill you, and if a yellow male shows up he may try to take you away from me. The reason I want you to stay in the den is because you're still small enough for a bird of prey to carry you off." Celestia saw her relatives gone and a strange dragon far off. She nudged Skye in with her siblings and covered her brood's scent with her own just in case...
Before yelling back to his parant, Oak climbed up to the ledge and lunged at Midnight, sending her flying off the edge. Then, Oak shouted "I rule the ledge! You lose!" and cackled, simutaneously warily watching for any who posed his rule, namely Midnight. Then, he paused for a moment, concocting a plan for the greatest past time ever, a combination of knocking Midnight of the ledge and hunting. (Which he knew about from instinct) It was the best thing his juvenile mind could possibly thing of. While it would be a form of chasing, it also had great chance to annoy. He climbed down the ledge once again, and crept up behind Skye, biting her tail, shouting, and running, obviously creating a form of the human child game known as tag. He only hoped that Skye and Midnight wouldn't team up on him.Â
Malvada watched as Celestia protected her chicks with what seemed to be her life, that was one of the things she admired about the Life dragons, they cared, well cared more for there young, and they didn't completly obliterate everything living thing in there path, like some Shadow dragons were acustomed to doing.  As a chick, Malvada didn't have much of a family, expecially one that actually cared for her like Celestia did her own chicks, for all she actually wished the Shadow dragons had from the Life dragons side, she might have well been born a Life dragon, but she had so much still holding her back, she couldn't just change... Her thoughts were interupted by a shadow hovering over the ground, she looked up to the sight of a dragon, one she had never seen before.
Midnight growled in a 'better watch out' tone. she launched forward, chaseing Oak. Power surged through her body and for a second, it wasn't her own. It was as if she were older, wiser, and more powerful than she actually was. She skidded to a stop. "Woah, that was strange." she said, shakeing her head. She felt as if she had woken up from a dream where nothing, yet everything, is,was, and will be possable. Strange she thought, remebering her dream. Darkness and light, it just didn't make sense. She watched Oak and Skye silently. The reminded her of the dream but she didn't understand why. Oh well she thought shrugging to herself, before she resumed her chase, unaware of the trounle outside...
Skye looked at her siblings and climbed the ledge sitting there 'looking over the territory' before saying "Eh besides you guys I dun see nothin..." She pounced on an imaginary animal and started trying to kill the thing, thrashing around untill she hit something too hard and she let out a squack before getting up with a limp. "Nothin busted guess I better be more careful... She turned to her sister and walked to her side, when Midnight skidded to a halt "You ok sis?" But Midnight ran after Oak and Skye started worrying. Skye was shaping up to be a worry wart. She looked out the hole and said "Midnight... Oak... Come look pweese?"Â
Celestia watched the stranger land, A male in his prime looking down at Celestia and then to Malvada before laughing "You two are in the territory I decided is mine. Stay please and I'll even sire your young." This male was just an arrogant moron. Celestia glared "I have a large family to back me up, and my family on this matter will back her up too." The male scoffed "What can a few females do to me?" "My family happens to be rouge hunters, and I survived a rouge." She laughed "I'm not intimidated by you. I may have inherited my territory but I'll find one way or another to protect it from chauvinistic males like you." Celestia's protective instincts were pumping adrenaline into her system. The male smirked recognizing the reaction apparently "So you already have a brood. I'll let them live if you make it worth my while..." His eye ridge went up suggestively. Celestia did the dragon equivalent of flipping the bird and made a mock charge snarling. Her answer was clear heck no, and if you don't leave you will regret it.

Midnight turned on heel and trotted to her sister. "Oh my yin and yang, your fine! I slamed into the wall and I'm ok!!" she said, rolling her eyes. She trotted up to her sister anyways, and checked it out. "Nothings broken, your fine." Midnight gently nuzzeled her sister before slinging her head over Skye's shounder to comfort her. "Just think about when we'll be the feircest, meanest, toughest creatures on earth!" she raised onto her hind legs, flapping her wings. Once again she felt the she was older, wiser, and more powerful. She shook her head violently, trying to clear the thought. Midnight threw herself off balance an toppled over backwards, landing on her back, and let out a squell no one in a mile couldn't hear.
Instead of looking, Oak jumped Skye while she was looking in, and yelled, running before she chased after him. He quickly saw that this kind of game was no use with her, and he looked at her for a moment, with a questioning look on his face which said: Isn't this fun? Why aren't you running? Your just sitting there, what are you, a rock? He ran, afraid that Midnight might try to chase him again. Then, when he saw she was just getting off the ground froms squeeling, apparantly disturbed in some way, he gave up. These two were no fun. "I don't know about you, but i'm gonna go outside." He told them, and began to trot towards the tunnnel they were in front of, eager to be in the rays of the sun.
"Sis I was worried about those weird moments you keep havin like you're somebody else. I know how to spot injuries." Skye shouted to Oak "Oak somthin is going on out there. There's a stranger male out there that's makin mommy and that other lady mad." She almost cowered "I don't like strangers they scare me." Skye's intuition was telling her to stay inside and keep her brother and sister inside too. "The stranger male is alot scarier than the relative dragons were..." She backed up flapping her comically large wings actually getting off the ground a bit "Woah! I think I can fly guys!" She touched down and got onto the ledge spreading her wings and jumping. Skye managed a clumsy glide and landed falling over with a squeek.
Malvada growled, How dare he?! even though she wanted a brood eventually, threatening someone elses wasn't going to move her. She let out an angery roar and smoke erupted from her mouth, only hers wasn't a bluff, her thoughts were interupted by a loud shriek coming from inside the den, it worried her a little bit, but she still didn't hesitate, she blasted the male with a large fire ball, she charged and lashed at him knocking him over.  She had an attitude, and when she was mad, a really bad one, so it wasn't the wisest choice for this male to anger her.
Midnight nuzzled her sister gently. "Its ok, I'm sure it was nothing." Midnight turned and fallowed Oak, aiming to retrive him. She reached the cave as fire engulfed the entrance. "Mommy!" midnight said, freaking. She dashed forward, slamming into Malvada. She ducked between the male dragon's front legs. He dashed trying to catch her. That odd feeling came over her for a third time but this time it really showed. The male dragon lashed, catching midnight on the shoulder and flung her into the wall. Midnight got up surpriseingly quick for her injery, stood on her hind legs, and slamed her fore-legs onn the ground. A mini-earth quake shook the ground and the entrance to the den dissappeared under the male's feet. He tummbled down and hit the bottom, and was intumbed in the rock the colapsed. Midnight then colapsed as her legs buckled, the wound on her shoulder trickleing blood.
