Whitefire yawned. She had been bored for the last couple days, despite the rouge hunt. naturally SHE had to be the bait, since alot of dragons had feelings for her. She laughed when she remebered the look on his face when the 'harmless female' almost riped his throaght out  before the ambush came out of hideing. Whitefire's wing launched her into the air. she had a bit of a differant style of hunting. she noticed celestia's mom miss her target and the deer ran off. Whitefire folded her wings  and fell from the air. At the last second the spread her wings and landed on the deer quite forcefully, breaking its bacl and killing it instantly. she turned toward celestia's mom. "You know, theirs more than one way to kill prey."

Celestia replied to Whitefire "I wasn't my kill..." The wolves were circling waiting and hoping for scraps. The pack looked like they needed the kill ribs showing, the alphas had let the rest of the pack have more of the kill so they looked thinner than the others. Celestia recognised the were pair and nodded to them giving up the boar "This were pack has chicks of their own to feed, I can catch something else." Celestia caught a whiff of boar again, she normally didn't hunt boar or bovine. The risk of injury was higher because razor sharp tusks and horns could gore and slash, with deer antlers only during the fall and males, hooved animals made good prey but the hooves were a hazard. Celestia went after the boar but got a cut from a tusk. Just a small one though Celestia stuffed the herbs into the heart and crunching the bones so her sister's weaker jaws could handle it. If Celestia's chicks came back they'd be welcomed back and gain the territory they'd inherrited at birth. Celestia's nomad brother had given his to his sisters. The family backed eachother but usually lived on their own. Rose dug in and ate the heart full of medication in one gulp and crunched the smaller bits of bone on her sister's 'docter's orders' carefuly. Celestia checked her sister's injured wing over and glanced around. Thor had Lightning off to the side giving him 'the big brother's warning' about hurting Rose the twins were antagonizing Coal with Azure and Celestia's aunt doing their best to drag the twins off. Celestia's mother and Heisei were chatting. Celestia's uncle was fishing at the coast. A dragon her uncle's size had to catch things like dolphins seals and whales. Nothing else was big enough or had enough calories to be a staple. Celestia's family was strange and confusing but she adored them all...

At the moment, Oak was running, and he was running quickly for even himself.  He briefly wondered if anyone was behind him, but he didn't want to turn around and check, due to the cave in nipping at his heels.  He hoped they weren't too far down, because it looked like this might collapse a large section of the tunnels.  He turned a corner, and raced past Skye, who looked to be in thought, and somehow yelled over the din the following: "Maybe you should try and find some new herbs; those plants you foudn didn't even make me blink." and he kept racing, afraid that the crashing of the ceiling of the cave might catch up to him.

Skye blinked as she saw Oak running, was her brother halucinating? He was running like he was being chased by something... Skye shook her head at her brother. The herbs didn't work, her brother was an insomniac then. Skye wondered why he was the restless one, must have been an aspect of fire... He'd burn himself out eventualy if that was the case. Skye gorged herself, she was considering her adult size growing at a faster rate. Smaller dragons hit maturity sooner because they needed a longer reproductive time frame since mates within their size range were less common. So Skye's system was making her eat more to get what she needed to grow. She dove into organ meats for the nutriants within, and went for the bone to get the calcium and the calories in the marrow she needed to fuel her now even more rapid growth... 

Toxic poked her head out and uncomfortably stared at her but then pulled her head back into her hiding spot and nervously waited a few mintues. She poked out her head agian but felt dissapointment and disbravery for not facing the other dragon that was still there. She slowly stepped out from behind the rock and aprouched with caution. Curiosity came over her as she got closer and closer. but she soon stopped only to be a few feet away from the dragon, she was shaking with fear and excitment but tried to keep a safe distance from her. Even though Toxic is young and small she was still smart to keep her distance.

Midnight smiled at the young hatchling. She bent down gently. "Its ok, I won't hurt you, but Wheres your mommy and daddy?" she noticed the chick was thin and took off into the sky. She found a rabbit and quickly killed it, before flying back to the dragon. She droped the kill infront of her before landing. The chick was still a little weary so midnight nunged it closer. "Go ahead, eat."

 

Whitefire huffed before stalking away. There was a reason she didn't go with celestia, and that was because she acted like a know it all and always came up with an excuse. Whitefire stormed back into the clearing.

Celestia shrugged and figured she'd just hang out with Heisei. The twins were trying to get back to antagonizing Coal but Celestia's uncle had them pinned under a massive paw. Celestia spotted her brother staring at the sky looking sad and changed her plan. "Thor what's wrong?" "Nothin sis just thinking about something I'd rather not talk about." Celestia wanted to bug her brother till he told her but thought better of it. Heisei sat down beside the siblings in fox form. Some of the transplanted fruit trees had blossoms filling the air with a sweet scent. Heisei felt her fur ruffle in the breeze and soaked up the tranquility silently. Celestia's mother saw Celestia and Thor but went to sleep, she was an older dragon and tired. The matriarch was suffering the effects of time, Celestia's mother was ten years older than her own siblings. The older female's joints were being damaged by arthritis and wear, and her senses weren't as sharp as they once were. The old matriarch knew her time was getting closer but her chicks knew what they needed to learn from her so she was at peace about her fate. Celestia had yet to figure out that her mother's age was starting to show, Celestia would make a good matriarch of the family when her mother passed....

Coal, after being pestered o no end by celestia's family, finally escaped. Her noticed lighting laying with rose.  He hated his brother, ever since he has attempted to focefully mate with whitefire. He noticed one of celestia's many relitives sadly looking at the sky. He began to walk over when the male's shadow dragon stentch rolled over him. Yin and yang, why the heck am i doing this? he thought. "Whats wrong, erm.... Celestia's relitive?" coal asked, forceing his tone to be friendly. He sat down next to the male and waited paitantly for an answer. He was used to waiting, since when whitefire thought of something she refused to talk.

Toxic smiled at her and looked at the rabbit with hungry eyes. She didn't know if it was for her until she pushed it towards her, she reached for it with her jaws and started to gnaw on it then she tore the carcass open and started to eat, her emptiness she felt in her stomach started to go away as she quickly ate. When she finished she sat down and stared at Midnight with happy eyes and made a small chirp at her. She trusted her more and felt more safe to be around her then when they first met.

Celestia and Thor blinked at Coal then Thor said simply, "My mother is not doing too well I can tell by the way my mother is walking." Thor was the observant one, apparently. Celestia's eyes widened for a moment as the realization hit her. Celestia returned her gaze to the sky again. Thor noticed the hatred that Coal had for Lightning and shook his large head, "Let the past be the past, my little sister's happiness is now affected by Lightning's. You've never really grown up with siblings have you?" Celestia just kept staring at the sky lost in though.

Coals ears twitched. "It is hard to let go of the past when the past was so near. You, being a, er, shadow dragon, probibly know the phrase 'Feel no pain, Feel no Emotion'. M brother and i were born into that. HE belevied it with a full heart, and II resented it. My family, seeing it as weakness, abandoned me far from thier cave, and whitefire's family adopted me and took me in. When lightning found out I still lived, he planned to kill me. But when he exicuted the plan whitefire got in the way. We all know whitefire is one of the best fighters out there, and lightning saw that. Ever since... he tried to take whitefire away from as well." he let his life spill out infront of him. He had lost amost everything to the phrase 'Feel no pain, feel no emotion'. And whitefire was the only thing that had survived and deafeated the phrase.

 

Midnight smiled back at the little chick. "Whats your name?" she asked gently

Toxic turned her head slightly sideways, she had not learn to speak properly all the way but she did know how to speak to where another dragon could understand her,she looked shyly towards the ground "Toxic" she said simply but almost as quiet as a dormouse. She looked up at Midnight again with soft eyes but attention soon caught them as she peered around midnight seeing a small bird pulling a worm out of the ground. Getting to her feet she crouched and slowly inched towards it, pouncing at the bird once she got close enough. She lifted one of her feet up only to see the bird wasn't there, she looked up and saw it sitting on a branch above her eating the worm it had caught

Celestia's head turned to face Coal, "My brother is a nomad a neutral party, My aunt and cousins are the shadow dragons. "Besides my brother, my sister and I are neutral, my mother and uncle are life dragons. Yet none of us consider that saying worth anything. Living like that rips families apart, and my family believes more in learning and working together. Knowledge is a sort of power I guess. A physical weakling who is smart can outwit a powerful moron." Thor nodded "We don't care if you hate Lightning, just leave him be for Rose's sake. Celestia and I may not like him but we trust our sister's judgement." Celestia went from sitting to laying and curled her tail around her. The she dragon added, "My mother, aunt, and uncle were born before the war and don't care about what side their siblings happen to be on. With my family it doesn't matter." Celestia grinned "Everybody assumes I'm a life dragon for some reason, and that my brother is shadow, but we're both neutral." Thor remarked "I already gave Lightning the warning what I'd do if he broke Rose's heart." Celestia snickered "Let me guess he'd never be able to sire chicks?" "That and he'd be missing another body his head." "Thor if Rose finds out you're dead meat..." "Don't care, she's my little sister and I'm keeping an eye on her..." 

Coal about choaked with lafter. "Great... now I have to worry about your well being. Lightning's a better fighter than you may realize."

 

Midnight smiled. She crouxhed low to the ground and slunk towards the tree, her eye intent on the bird. Just as she was ready to strike the bird took off. Midnight, quicker than a snake, thrust her head forward and cought the bird. She then  opened her wouth and the bird flew out as if nothing had happened. "Well little toxic. I think you need to come with me." she grabed the chick in her talons and took off, heading for the srong scent of her family.

Celestia and Thor both started laughing so hard that Thor fell over with a thud and the spines on Celestia's back were stuck into the ground. "Azure would join the fight so.. heh two on one.." Celestia was gasping for air "If Azure joined in my aunt and the twins would join in so actually four on one." Thor was still chuckling "If her..." He gestured to his belly up gasping sister, "Ambush doesn't get him first." Celestia's molars the teeth she used for breaking bones were showing along with the fangs meant for going through the arteries and windpipe in one bite if she managed to breach scale. Celestia's claws gleamed showing how sharp they were, with a build for stealth and speed she was built for a quick end, no chance to fight back. Celestia was more built to kill than anything else.

Skye smelled her sister a ways off and stood there with a bloodstained face, same jaw build as her mother. Skye looked more like a mix of her mother and namesake than anything else. Skye's scales were growing darker with age and her wings comicaly large had membranes that contracted to remain as taut as a drum regardless of how they were folded, giving Skye the ability to ajust her wing size and shape. [ex short broad wings used for manuvering, long narrow for speed, massive for gliding and soaring ect] Skye had large eyes perfect for the night but cat like pupils to handle glare off snow and ice, both she and Kokuyoseki had a thick layer of fat under their hides which helped with cold. Skye had an additional eyelid and false pallet like a crocodile's helping her thrive in water. Skye was going to practically rule the far north and south someday...

A large mountainous range with scattered lakes, and underground tunnel system, dense forests, and barren mountain tops.

You are allowed a maximum of 5 dragons and 1 other creature, and you MUST keep up with them. The creature must be either mythical or a present day animal with special powers. You may have eggs but you can only have as many as you can control OR give them to other players. Keep it PG-13 please.

You are a western dragon in a time of war. The life dragons and shadow dragons fight for the earth. The shadow dragons wish to rule the earth by power and fear, while the Life dragons wish to live in harmony with earth's creatures.

Whitefire and Coal lead the Life dragons. Lightning leads the Shadow dragons. Coal and Lightning are archenemys.

Now, a new hope has sprung up. Chaos is now the problem, and has been turning everyone against each other. Three were born, the embodyments of yin, yang, and karam are now the only thing that stand between chaos. but chaos has begun to hunt them down, to keep things under his controll
