Midnight bent down and covered her face with her paws. "Why do i have to deal with you two?"

 

Now that the meeting was over, coal and lightning were stareing eachother down. "Hello little brother." lightning spat,

"Hello betrayer. So thats what it was all about? Whitefire?" Coal's stare was hard and cold. He was ready for anything.

"You stole her from me. I was the one that was working on getting her to be MY mat when you cut in a took her right away."

"AND it was my choice." Whitefire cut in, steping between the two. "Would you two just let it go?"

"No" they said in union

Oak gave a short cackle, after having plotted with Taiyo for a bit.  They had agreed that the most efficient method of annoying Skye was by either yammering endlessly, or by chittering like some sort of bird, both of which involved talking fifty miles an hour.  Anyway, after the cackle, Oak shouted "So by anoying Skye, I can annoy both of you!?!  This is awesome!" And he sat down, grinning.  As he sat down, he noticed something in the corner of his eye.  Something was stuck to his side, and it was approximately the color of the inside of a red hot coal.  He reached over with his claw and tried to pick it off, but the resultting smell was the horrible smell of burned Keratin, so he stopped. 

Celestia stepped between them and said "It was her call but there's A lovely lady who is interested." Rose yelled "Don't you dare!" "My sister Rose." Celestia had a wide grin matched by all three of her cousins, her brother Thor who was the same size as Lightning was giving a warning glare that said loud and clear 'mind your manners or else...' Rose was clearly embarresed beyond belief and yelling at Celestia "Celestia what is wrong with you?" "Remember your last crush? You never talked to him and he flew away with that black dragoness. I'm breaking the ice for you is all." Rose darted behind Thor who stepped aside, with a now bemused look on his face. "My dear cousin you are too shy." Azure added, the twins nodding.

At this point, Xevius began to creep away from the entire thing, worried he might get involved in one of hte five or so social groups that had resulted from this meeting.  He calculated that the fastest way to his maze (not to mention the way out with the least people) was south south west, with a few detours here and there to avoid herds of animals and social interatction.  As he finished the calculation, he noticed something scattered on the ground...  Something red...  And moving...  He gave a sound of utter terror and surprise (it sounded something liek this: NerrErO!!) and took off in a speed flight in the opposite direction. 

Midnight recoiled from the thing in Oak's side. "What is that?" she said disgusted.

Coal's attention snapped to Xevius. He saw the weird red thing and sniffed it. "Xevius!" whitefire shouted, stoping him. "What is that?"

Lightning eyed rose, causeing her to cower down even more. He, naturally, made himself look much bigger than he actually was, and kept his head up proudly. "Well then by all means, hello." he said in a smooth subductive voice. If he couldn't have whitefire, atleast this young dragon was attractive. He waited silently for her reply, ignoring the 'red stuff' comotion going on somewhere behind him.

Celestia examined the 'substance' "Fire ants Xevius is terrified of them..." Rose stopped cowering, you could not intimidate her for long, she asked want to go for a walk?" Rose's bright golden eyes were more relaxed and she was internally thanking Celestia. The twins were following Xevius to go bug him out of boredom, and found the tunnels and vanished from their sister's sight, Azure noticed the hole and saw she was too large to go down it but the twins who were almost as small as Xevius could slip inside easily. Thor was next to his massive uncle watching everyone else bored. Celestia's aunt and mother were discussing the rouge hunting plans, Heisei was making poltuces and other medicine adding her input. Celestia's mother was the matriarch of the family being the wisest. Celesstia was showing more wisdom than the usual for her age putting her as the mostlikely next in line.

Skye tried to grab it covering her claws with ice but it melted and she stopped. "Shadows have no idea... And Oak if you do that too much we'll get used to it so give it a rest..."

Uhh...  Oak was bewildered.  "Maybe it was in the magma?" Oak offered meekly, still shouting.  "Maybe it's some sort of parasite?  Or just some sort of lava-goo?  Maybe some sort of horrible mutant larva of some sort?" Oak shouted, but, once again, did not shout conciously. 

Xevius, unaware of his followers, took a route straight to the center of the mze, passing vaious hazards, such as: A narrow hallway with maybe half an inch of stone between it and a vein of magma.  Going right under a huge rock, which was supported only by thin collumns of stone, and flying through a rather explosive cavern. 

Skye shook her head "If it's not hurting leave it alone for now. She closed her eyes and said "Since Yang speaks to me in my sleep and Karma talks to Midnight in her sleep, you need to sleep. We may be safe from beasts but I'll keep watch for any other trouble. The shadows whispered "Chaos has been courrupted by hatred with that weakness the embodyment had his powers taken from him, Chaos and yang go together chaos brought about life. You must prevent the destruction of Chaos itself. Your sister must purify him then his power will return and you can face the courruption you will need the embodiment of Chaos to do it." Skye nodded and kept watch while the others slept in almost too deep in thought.

Celestia's mother approached Lightning before Rose could get her answer "Lightning I'll be hoping you join the rouge hunts tomorrow." Celestia shook her head and ran after her mother on the way to Coal and Whitefire about to speak to them about it. "Mother I doubt they're interested." "With how protective they are of one another? I'll speak to them regardless." "Fine Mother..." Celestia stalked off not noticing the twins were missing.

Lightning flicked his ears. "I might, might not." he turned back to rose. "Then by all means, lets take a walk." he bowed gracefully.

 

Whitefire was all for the rouge hunting coal however, was not. They argued for a good 15 muinets and finnally Coal gave up. and he desided to come.

 

Midnight walked over to the corner, away from her siblings. "Karma, please, i need guidance."

"Little one, be true to yourself, siblings, and the world around you. Do what you think is right." Midnight felt the spirit comforting her and she knew what she had to do. She snuck off, with out skye or oak noticeing, to find whatever it was she need to do.

Skye noticed her sister's absence and wondered where she was going but wasn't about to leave her sleeping brother unguarded. The role of yang was reversed the healer was guarding the warrior. Skye figured if she and her brother stuck together she'd be the hunter her brother the guardian. Skye shook her head trying to imagine her brother a hunter. She couldn't nor could she imagine herself a brawler. If skye fought it would be as Kokuyoseki had said 'cloak and dagger'.

Celestia's mother decided to go to sleep, Celestia's aunt and mother had gone over the teams, Celestia's aunt had Lightning and her sister, Celestia and Heisei were with her uncle on medic duty, Celestia's mother had Coal Whitefire with Thor as emergency back up. Celestia's aunt was the most experienced hunter. Azure and the twins would be messengers and spotters to keep the hunters from blundering into a rouge's clutches.  Rose at the moment was walking and chatting with Lightning and Celestia was mentally patting herself on the back. She and Heisei went over their supplies and ran off after more. Xevius's predicting abilities could possibly locate the rouges. A sweep of this size had not been done before but as long as there were at least one experienced hunter with each group they'd be fine.

Oak, oblivious towards Midnight's abscence, quickly ran around in a few circles, and laid down.  He sat for quite a while, getting impatient.  His tail, after a few minutes, started to flick around in the air, and he started to tap the stone floor with one claw.  He rolled over, thinking that lying on his side might help.  He was some sort of insomniac, that much was clear.  He thought up an idea.  He started to hold his breath.  After about ten minutes or so, his lungs felt like they were going to explode.  Eventually, he passed out, and started breathing again as well.  He was greeted by the same bright, mental light as before, however, this time, it was not nearly as jolly, filled with an emotion closer to anger, maybe even an intense fear.  Oak was suddenly torn out of the white world, and appeared in a sporadic and nosensical world, which made no sense whatsoever.  As he attempeted to jump from floating mini-island to floating mini-island, with the feeling he was supposed to reach the center, creepy plants with eyes for fruit watched his every move, occasionally reaching with their roots, which wee not unlike crab legs.  The sky was dark, dark as dark could possibly be, and the entire place was cold.  However, the ground gave off light, the ground glowed, and occasionally imploded with a blue spark, and set fire to the surrounding eye ball plants.  They didn't seem to mind it though, and continued to watch Oak.  As Oak neared the center, the entire reality of the place began to fade, until he was standing in the cold, and the dark, on a glassy surface.  He couldn't even see the darkness, it was too dark.  Suddenly, he heard a manical laughter.  The laughter laughed and laughed and laughed, sending chills down Oak's spine.  The laughter suddenly dropped in pitch and speed, until it was a low growl.  This in turn morphed, until it became a terrifyingly loud roar.  It stopped, and their was dead silence.  A creepy double voice said: You can not stop me.  I am within you.  All of you.  If you destroy me, you destroy yourselves.  You destroy everything.  As the laughter started up again, Oak was torn back to the white world, and was acompanied by the mental light.  "That is what you face"  It told him, and this one thought blasted every other thought from Oaks mind.  Suddenly, Oak woke up.  ((Four hundred and twelve words!))

Skye saw her brother's insomnia and walked off when he was awake to find some herbs to fix it. She found them along the edge of the crator lake and loped back to her brother after nabbing another rabbit for her future size she was growing faster than her siblings so she ate more than them. They'd take longer to mature physically because they had more growing to do. Skye saw an apperition of a strange incandescent male dragon her age that she felt drawn to. Every move he made the color of his scales seemed to change, he had a haunted and haunting gaze. "Ha ha ha yes little Skye find him, combine your powers and none will be your master. You will be a queen unquestioned. Adored by all... Find him little huntress." Skye shuddered that wasn't Yin, Yang, her elements, or Karma and the voice scared her. Skye still wanted to find the strange dragon to set him free. Skye brought the herbs back and said "These will help you sleep Oak, passing out like that is not good for you." Skye kept the apperition and voice to herself untill her sister got back. It scared her badly but she didn't want to let it show yet...

Midnight walked through the tunnels when her stomach growled. she was very hungry. she came to the surface and spoted a rabbit. it spoted her and took of, she chased after it, starved.

 

Suddenly light flashed infront of, incenerateing the rabbit. Karma appeared infront of her. Her eyes were angry and vegful. she lunged at midnight.

"So its your fault!?! Its your fault the world is dieing!" karma screamed.

Midngiht backed up. Something was wrong with her embodyment, every fiber told her so. karma dissappeared saying "you will regret betraying me" midnight gasped, her sides heaveing. Chaos had gotten to karma. Had it already gotten to yin and yang?

Motionessly a small baby dragon layed in her nest waiting for her mother and fathers return, she had been waiting for a few days and she hadnt moved since they left. Toxic couldnt wait any longer and ran to the entrance of the cave as the hunger for food grew stronger. She let out little cries for her mother and father but they never came back and her calls were starting to attract preditors. Toxics cries turned into wails and she desperately wandered into the forest driven by hunger. She could not rely on her mom or dad to come back, she thought that they abandoned her and that they wouldnt come back.

Oak stared at Skye for a moment, before shouting, (once again, he is completely unaware of his volume) "I get the feeling the Chaos I saw was completely different from the one Midnight saw.  Also, do you think it's possible for yang to get depressed and frightened?" As he said this, Oka's tail swung around lazily in the air, quickly getting faster and faster, until it was a blure.  It was obvious that, even though he was asleep a few moments ago, he wasn't going to stop being hyper, even if his life depended on it.

Meanwhile, in a cavern far below, an unspeakable demon feasted on the chaos resulting from the possesion of karma itself.  As it slowly absorbed power from the unpredictabilaty resulting from the cracking in the foundation of knowledge and order, it reached out mental tendrils, slowly seeping into and destroying all existencial resistence, possesing them and driving them crazy, bit by bit, turning them against what they had built.

A large mountainous range with scattered lakes, and underground tunnel system, dense forests, and barren mountain tops.

You are allowed a maximum of 5 dragons and 1 other creature, and you MUST keep up with them. The creature must be either mythical or a present day animal with special powers. You may have eggs but you can only have as many as you can control OR give them to other players. Keep it PG-13 please.

You are a western dragon in a time of war. The life dragons and shadow dragons fight for the earth. The shadow dragons wish to rule the earth by power and fear, while the Life dragons wish to live in harmony with earth's creatures.

Whitefire and Coal lead the Life dragons. Lightning leads the Shadow dragons. Coal and Lightning are archenemys.

Now, a new hope has sprung up. Chaos is now the problem, and has been turning everyone against each other. Three were born, the embodyments of yin, yang, and karam are now the only thing that stand between chaos. but chaos has begun to hunt them down, to keep things under his controll
