Lanzia sighed sitting on the couch, she rolled her eyes at Vaan who ran out the door, she looked around unable to see Idisis. "I wonder how long it will take for Vaan to get lost, he probably won't though because I think I saw Idisis go with him." Lanzia sighed moving away from the couch. Nightmare ran over to her nuzzling up to her leg. "Nightmare, please stop that." Nightmare sat infront of Lanzia with a smile.
Idisis was fallowing Vaan around to make sure he stayed safe. As they were walking Idisis couldn't help but to shudder under the eyes of a gargoyle. "I don't like gargoyles, they were made in the first place to remind us of demons. They are not good creatures." Idisis continued fallowing close behind Vaan.
Vaan looked confused at the gargoyle and back to Idisis who was suddering. Vaan did not understand why Idisis was afraid of gargoyles.' think he's not scary....i...' Vaan took a better look and stepped back terrefied saying' He's scary......this thing looks like my aunt Kiki' Vaan shuddered with horror'Â And you don't wanna meet my aunt Kiki' He stepped to Idisis wispering dramatic:' She is scary......When i was 10 She ran after me with a pitchfork in her hand' Vaan shivered again.' Crazy women' He muttered to himself. Vaan saw something from the corner of his eyes. vaan ran away in top speed yelling:' YAY, A WEAPONSHOP!!'
Idisis sighed fallowing Vaan into the weapon shop. He could tell that Vaan had a very good interest for weapons. As he fallowed Vaan into the weapon shop he looked around seeing the many dangerous weapons. He took one last outside to see it was night. He had heard many myths about gargoyles, and one myth was that they came to life during the night, he hoped that was not the case. He sighed keeping a close eye on Vaan who seemed very interested with a strange looking sword. Idisis took a closer look, he could tell the sword Vaan was looking at was somehow cursed. "Vaan I wouldn't touch a cursed sword if I were you."
Vaan looked up from his thoughts And almost fell backwards,He struggled to keep his balance.When he was firmly back on his feet Vaan said: " Maybe you are right, it kinda looks strange.....strange but cool' Vaan saw that the owner tapped his fingers impatiently. To make clear that he wanted to close his shop and go home. Vaan nodded and said against Idisis: "I think he wants us to leave ... let's go 'When they stepped out of the shop the owner had closed the door. 'Funny .... like he was afraid of something" Vaan shrugged and walked past the gargoyles. 'Hey Idisis, you know that myth where the gargoyles came to life.....funny wasn't it?'
Idisis heard some fear in the tone of Vaan's voice now. He looked up at a gargoyle looking a bit nervous. "Yeah, let's just hope that these gargoyles don't have any funny myths attached to them. That man seemed very scared" Idisis and Vaan began heading to the rest of the group which was now a bit far away. As they began walking Idisis noticed some empty pedestals where he could have sworn earlier there was a gargoyle there. Above them he could see a creature flying and screeching. For a moment, all was silent, the streets were clear and all the shop windows were closed. A screech destroyed the silence. Idisis turned around to see a hungry gargoyle with it's claws flexed. "Vaan, I think we've made a 'friend'." Idisis looked in terror at the gargoyle that looked ready to bite them.
Vaan smiled a little and said as he walked backwards:' What a coincidence I just was talking about gargoyles who came to life and then 'poof' there is a living gargoyle standing in front of us' Vaan looked at the razor-sharp teeth in the mouth of the gargoyle. Small beady eyes looked at him and Idisis with an evil glare. Vaan looked around the streets, there was nobody outside exept them, the citizens were already safely inside.' Idisis, i think our 'friend' isn't very friendly to us' Vaan spoke to Idisis.

Eric looked up from cleaning his sword when Luuk came in. You could see to his red face he had runned fast. After Luuk, Luuk's father came in.' So these.....your friends....who stay here' Luuk's father said. Luuk nodded.'pourquoi ton visage est si rouge?( Why is you face so red)' Eric asked. Luuk explained:' À la nuit tombée, les gargouilles aux gens la vie et l'attaque àl'extérieur et ils marchent ....où sont Vaan et Idisis?( When the night falls the gargoyles comes to live and attack people who are walking outside and.....where are Vaan and Idisis)'Ils sont toujours àl'extérieur( They are still outside) Eric said while stopped cleaning his sword.'mais c'est terrible, nous devons aider!!( But that's terible, we must go help them!!) Luuk said rushing outside. Eric followed.

Idisis backed off a bit further away from the gargoyle, the gargoyle neared him with it's teeth bared and it was drooling, Idisis could obviously tell the gargoyle was very hungry. The gargoyle gave a devious smile as it ran towards him biting Idisis in the arm not seeming to want to let go. Idisis grabbed his sword in the other hand and whacked the gargoyle in the head to make it let go. Idisis shot a lightning bolt at the gargoyle, the gargoyle gave a terrible shreik as electricity quickly traveled through it's body. The gargoyle left whining. Idisis looked to see Vaan who looked a little shocked at the spell he cast. "Vaan, we should run right now, I think it's calling more gargoyles to attack us" Idisis looked ahead to see there was now a gargoyle infront of them. "Get back now!" Idisis cast a spell that caused the gargoyle to crumble.
Vaan just stood there with his mouth half open and his eyes blinking. He was taken by surprise by the fact that Idisis suddenly had used magic. 'H-how did you did that, you defeated two gargoyles like it was nothing.....and that was so cool!' Vaan said while a gargoyle blocked his way. When his sword hit the gargoyle the gargoyle perished into rubble. 'You did not see that coming, Stupid gargoyle that looks like my Aunt Kiki' Vaan said again the broken gargoyle. far away Behind him he heard footsteps. In the distance he saw Eric, Lanzia, Bandit, Luuk and Nightmare running to them.' We're here!" Vaan yelled.
Idisis was using a healing spell on his arm. He turned around relieved to see the rest of the group. "I thought you'd never show up. We're both fine, but I wouldn't say the same for the gargoyles that attacked us." Idisis looked at the gargoyle that was on the ground crumbled. "We should leave before even more gargoyles show up." Idisis looked relieved to see that he wasn't dead yet. He looked back to the rest of the group. I've gotten rid of two gargoyles, but I think we should get somewhere safe now." Idisis looked at his armor which was now a bit bloody.
Luuk looked apologetically and said, "Je dois vous avertir au sujet des gargouilles .... mais j'ai oublié( I had to warn you about the gargoyles .... but i forgot)' Vaan looked like if he did not understand what Luuk just said. Eric sighed and translated it for Vaan:' Luuk said he should have warned us but he had forgotten to tell us' Vaan nodded that he understood and said, "Oh, i don't mind that he had forgotten to tell us....but i have one question: What are we going to do now?' Eric strugged and said looking for nearby gargoyle:' I don't know...but we better seek cover somewhere'
Idisis sighed brushing himself off. His arm was now healed but he was now exausted from using offensive magic. For a fact he was very dizzy. "There are plenty of dark alleyways in this city, aren't there? Were bound to stay safe in an alleyway where it would be almost impossible for a gargoyle to spot us." Above head he could hear the load howls and screeches of the gargoyles. A chill traveled down Idisis's spine as he continued to hear the gargoyles make their loud calls. Out of the sky came eighteen more gargoyles. Each one of them looked very hungry. Most of the group members looked very intimidated by the number of gargoyles and size. In reaction Idisis cast a spell, a huge burst of flame ran across the gargoyles, the gargoyles screetched loudly before all of them fell to the ground scorched and dead. After the spell Idisis had feinted onto the ground exhausted.
Vaan stepped back when Idisis fainted and fell on the ground.'Idisis .... are you alright .... please say something! " Vaan runned to Idisis and Shaked him but he did not get a response. Eric pushed Vaan back and said calmly: "We must carry him, Vaan you grab his feets ' Vaan did what Eric said and grabbed carefully Idisis's Feets. Eric grabbed Idisis under his arms.' Luckily it is not so heavy, otherwise we were in trouble' Vaan said.'We are already in trouble, look, there are more gargoyles behind us!!' Eric said breaking one of the gargoyles behind them while he was still holding Idisis. 'RUNNNN! " Vaan yelled ready to run away in top speed.'Alley's left .... we hide there ' luuk said pointing to the smallest alley. Eric nodded and he and Vaan sprinted off in top speed carrying Idisis.
Fronder fallowed the others into the alleyway. Lanzia, Bandit, and Nightmare were distracting the gargoyles. Fronder came into the alleyway keeping a sharp eye out for gargoyles. "I don't think Idisis is going to wake up for awhile, he's probably past exaustion by now." Fronder held his bow and arrow in case a gargoyle was to fallow them. In the alleyway he could hear Lanzia's ax hitting rock, Bandit and Nightmare's growls, and gargoyle screetches. "We're probably going to wait here until day comes, I can tell it's going to be a long night." Fronder silently waited for the others. It took awhile before Bandit, Nightmare, and Lanzia made it into the alleyway safe.
It was one hour after the attack of the gargoyles, Eric was standing at the end of the alley ready to attack, Vaan was bored and was poking the unconscious Idisis with a small stick and Luuk was trying to stop Nightmare who was drooling over Idisis's leg. Eric noticed and said strictly:' Vaan don't poke Idisis with a stick and Nightmare don't drool over Idisis's leg!!' Nightmare backed away and hide in the shadow While he looked with puppy eyes at Eric. pity for Nightmare it didn't work because Eric is heartless. Vaan complained and threw the stick away. Eric ignored him and turned away. A few moments later, Vaan was sleeping on the floor while he talked in his sleep about gnomes and a dancing monkey who had stolen his food. Eric rolled his eyes' what an idiot'.
Fronder was wide awake staying as alert as he could. He held his bow and arrow close ready to shoot anything that dare try to hurt them. After five more hours of waiting he noticed that the sun was rising. "At least we don't have to worry about any more gargoyles now." Fronder turned around to see that Vaan was still asleep and Idisis was still uncontious. "Idisis still won't get up, I'm beginning to worry that he won't get up at all." Fronder looked at Idisis, he wouldn't twitch, move, or give any sign that he was just asleep. "We should try and get him to wake up soon."
