Vaan stared blank at Lanzia' A map? All the time you had a map......why didn't you show us' he said upset almost yelling. Max glared angry at her ' That sneaky dwarf' he thought. Meanwhile Vaan was making a whole scene by standing infront of her and yelling upset. 'It doesn't matter now, we've a map so let's go' Eric mumbled. Vaan protested loudly' But she had a map the entire time and didn't told us about it!!' Eric grabbed his arm and dragged him away from Lanzia 'Shut up Vaan, i'm getting tired of you' Eric said ignoring the reluctant Vaan.'Fronder, do you say something!' Vaan said while trying to get loose from Eric's grip.

Lanzia knew Vaan was angry at her, but if he saw the map he'd understand why she only brought up the idea now, "Vaan the map only shows the forest and the areas closest to it, and if you were smart enough you'd know that this forest is constantly changing." The only things shown on the map was the 'ghost town', the forest, the river they'd already crossed, and a cave where she knew the dragons that had destroyed her villiage lived. "If you look at the map it doesn't show much." Lanzia only found the map useful for figuring out where the trees were luring them.

Fronder had heard Lanzia, to prove she was right he walked over to her, "Could I see it?" Lanzia handed Fronder the map and he studied it, "She's right Vaan, there's not much on here." He handed the map back to Lanzia.

Vaan frowned and struggled loose from Eric's grip And looked offended at Lanzia and Fronder 'And suddenly you are pals again, even thought that you shot her and now you're being nice to her, did you forgot the fact that she was planning to kill Eric?' Eric let out a sigh ' Vaan, just shut up, you're driving everybody here insane, and thereby she didn't killed me'

meanwhile Max was watching from the sideline and examined the faces of Vaan and lanzia. He was not good at understanding emotions, but this time he did.

'If we don't get slain by enemies, we will kill each other for sure'

"Vaan all I said was what she said about the map was right. I still don't trust her after that letter." Fronder knew that Lanzia had hidden alot of things from them, like the map, the letter, he bet she was still hiding things from them.

Lanzia knew the group had every right to be suspicious, she did hide quite a few things from them. She looked ahead, wondering if they should get moving, but then she thought of the 'ghost town', that would be what's left of her home, and maybe the two dragoactually ad actually destroyed her home would be there. She regreted any thought of moving foreword again, even though it was the only path to take.

Yelphi was confused, he turned to look at Eric, "What does he mean by letter Eric?"

Nightmare knew he coldn't sit while holding Idisis, so instead he stood on all fours proudly.

Bandit was wondering why they were waiting when they could get moving, he loved to see new places, then again that might be because he was actually some alleycat found on the streets. Bandit liked to see anything new besides the boring city streets.

Eric looked at Yelphi and then at Lanzia ' I'll explain it later, now is not the time to bring up memories.....i don't like being here any longer' Vaan was using his epic death glare at Lanzia, which didn't had much effect, so he looked at Eric ' Nightmare saved you from Lanzia' He said. Eric looked confused ' Nightmare saved you from Lanzia' Vaan repeated. Eric nodded 'I suppose so ,but like i just said: now's not the time to bring that back up'  vaan remainded silent.

Max knew Vaan was annoyed by the fact that everybody protected Lanzia. Vaan reminded him of Shawn. 'They

Lanzia was never actually going to kill Eric but ask for help. She could've sworn she had explained that before, but some of the group probably still thought she was going to kill Eric. Lanzia thought again about her village, maybe she should've died with the others killed in her village, then she wouldn't have to be here, she wouldn't have to deal with some of the people who accused her of being a traitor. She wished she was already dead right now, she looked at the path ahead, then the trees. Even being killed by one of the trees would be better than putting up with the group.

Yelphi knew whatever had happened before was not good. "Then maybe we should go?"

Fronder looked at the trees behind them, they were looking a bit vicious again, the trees looked as if they were getting impatient with them. He wondered what these trees wanted.

Eric tapped impatiently on his sword' Finally, this place drives me insane.....just like a certain person here' Vaan did not realize that Eric was talking about him 'Soooo, we're are going to some another ghost town?' he asked and Eric nodded ' lanzia just said that, thereby the last time we where in ghost town you were scared to death'

Vaan strugged ' This time not, it's just a stupid town that wasn't strong enough to defend itself and got slain, i bet it was full of idiots' Max smiled ' Says the biggest idiot' Vaan looked upset' im'not a idiot i'm a half-wit!! right Nightmare?' Nightmare nodded proud  ' Vaan is half-wit,Vaan not idiot'

'Enough chit-chat we're going!' Eric said on a firm tone while walking on the path the trees made.' Someone's a bit cranky' Vaan whispered while he followed Eric kepping a eye on the trees. nightmare followed Vaan with Idisis on his back and began to sing a song that Vaan learned him.

Max made no attempt to walk and just stood there waiting. he wanted to make sure that Lanzia and the rest followed so that he could walk at the end to keep a eye on them.

Lanzia was a bit angered by Vaan's coment, the people in her town weren't dumb, to have survived and live in a forest like this most of them had to be smart. She thought of how she was gone when the village was attacked. Maybe it was her fault the villagers had died... Lanzia began walking.

Once everyone was walking Fronder began focusing on the details of the trail, as they got further he began seing most of the trees damadged. It look like some large creatures had passed by. when they had gotten even further he began seeing that most of the trees were scorched. Then he began seeing bones, and to his horror some corpses. He knew the ghost town was very close.

Vaan tried not to pay attention to the skeletons, which some were completely crushed that they hardly looked like skeletons but just piles of bone, The bones of the unlucky people who have died a horrible death. His stomach tingled and felt numb, Vaan did not know where it came from. The skeletons or that punch in his stomach. 'What a welcome' Max mumbled in the distance, vaan could hear that there was hatred and anger in his voice, He wasn't sure why. He looked at Eric, which he only saw the back of his head because he walked in front of them.It was a funny sight: A heartless prince with blonde curls.

' if a town didn't survived, what will happen to us?, we're just a small group, and one of us is unconscious.....can we make it alive?' he thought bitter, biting his lip. he pushed away that thought ' Meh, that town was just probably full of idiots, otherwise they would have survived it, thereby we're strong, we dealed with a lot of enemies before, we can make it!'

'hey Eric, how long will it be till we get there?' he asked to the back of Eric's head. Eric looked over his shoulder and replied' We already are 'there'' and he pointed to the town ahead of them.

Lanzia was shocked to see how bad the damage actually was, most of the buildings were burned to the ground, and the buildings that weren't burned down had their roofs blown off. She looked at the skeloton's around them that looked scorched, even worse there were still some dead bodies. It was obvious that her village was destroyed a few days ago. It was also obvious dragons had destroyed the area. Lanzia was angered by the sight of this, she looked at the trees that were scorched, she saw that the trees they met before must've been upset that the trees here were burned or destroyed. She looked at the dead bodies in the village, feeling like this was her fault. "We should just keep going..."

Eric's eyes scanned the destroyed town, inch by inch, He examined the damage that the dragons have caused led by his uncle. He brushed a curl from his face and stepped back. He wanted be sure that he had inspected everything before they continued.

Max looked around disinterested, rubbing his arm.The only thing he saw was a completely destroyed town full of corpses,But that did not disturb him, he was used to chaos and death, ater all he's a soldier. He bumped his foot against something, annoyed he looked down. there was acorps of a young man lying in front of his feets. With a quick movement he pushed it away.

Vaan was walking with Nightmare and Yelphi through the ghost town.He made ​​sure he stayed close, He did not want get lost.Max was on the other side, looking around like a braindead zombie, like he didn't care.His eyes stiffened as he Looked at one of the dead bodies, It was a boy of 11 maybe 12 years.Vaan turned his head away ' Even children?'

 

Fronder looked at each body painfully, it hurt him to see so much death. He couldn't imagine the horror the people who died here must've gone through. He didn't want to think of how horrible the dragons that attacked this place were. Fronder was reminded of how dragons had destroyed his village long ago, he was reminded of the fear he had felt that day. He remembered how dragons had burned his home to the ground, of how they murdered his parents before his eyes. He looked at how this village was destroyed. He saw that none of the villagers had weapons, they indeed were defenseless. Fronder than thought of how Lanzia had said she was the only guard of here village, and how her village was destroyed a few days before... by dragons. He had a good feeling this was Lanzia's village, he was even more positive when he looked back and saw Lanzia looking sadly at the village remains.

There were two loud screetches from over head, two dragons circled overhead, looking like vultures from the low down. But the dragons hadn't spotted anyone... yet.

Vaan looked up shocked and shouted:' CRAP, THERE ARE TWO DRAGONS , HOW CAN-' Eric laced his mouth and said in a aggressive whisper 'Shut up stupid Half-wit we don't want them to see us!!' He dragged Vaan behind a wall and signaled the rest to follow him, Nightmare ran in wild panic after Vaan making strange noises, Max cursed and ran to Eric and Vaan hiding behind the wall which was luckily still standing. Eric signals to Lanzia and Fronder to hurry up while Nightmare was wailing and Vaan was lying on the ground with his hands over his head hoping not to die.

Lanzia fallowed everyone else behind the wall. She kept looking up, watching the two dragons get lower and lower until both were on the ground, she knew the dragons, Lanzia was positive they were the ones that had destroyed her village. She could tell they couldn't see them, she moved away from the corner of the wall staying perfectly silent. She saw a dragon move his head past the wall they were hiding behind, but the dragon turned around before they looked their direction. The dragon was fighting over the other one for a corpse. Lanzia was relieved the dragons had not noticed them, she could only hope Vaan wouldn't blow their cover.

The young prince as been cursed so he doesn't feel anything.
