Snaggletooth was one of the very last carnivores to make it to the nesting grounds. He was finally able to rest in the shade of trees again. Snaggletooth looked around the area and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Snaggletooth let out a deep grunt as he didn't smell the scent of a female in the area. He then started to fell hungry due to going two days without food.

Snaggletooth first stooped by the watering hole to drink some water. He looked around but didn't fell like hunting anything down. Then, the smell of fresh kill hit his nose and Snaggletooth got excited and eagerly followed the smell to a nest that belonged to a Nanotyrannus, she looked injured and had a baby at her side. Snaggletooth thought taking the kill from her would be extremely easy to take the kill from her due to his sheer size and weight

Rylee and Kane went on the hunt for something to bring back. They wondered through the night looking and serching for something not too difficult to take down. Rylee and Kane were chirping amongst each other trying to search for something easy. Then by the water hole and injured Hippdraco with a badly broken left leg and hip was trying to get up from drinking. Rylee and Kane loved that it was a bit small for size, so would make it easy to take down. Rylee then heard move ment in the grass behind her, she turned and hissed. It was only Bonez, he was too worried to leave her and Kane unattended. Crush was also with too. All four circled the animal and once they got close enough Rylee leaped into the air towards its face and struck her big toe claw into its neck. Suffication took place and soon the animal was dead. The pack feasted on the carcuss in peace, and once they got their fill, they ran back to the nest to sleep it off for a whole new day.

Jubilee licked her blood-stained teeth and muzzle, she and her baby had quite a nice meal, eating almost all of the stomach contents before a powerful scent wafted over them.

powerful indeed, a tyrannosaurus rex. and she could see it clearly, it was smaller than normal, but that didn't matter, all she knew was that it could take them both without much effort. wisely, she backed up into the bushes, hiding her baby behind her, in a protective stance in case it came after her precious little one. even if it might've wanted the carcass, nothing stopped it from taking her baby too, and that was all that mattered, for it grow into adulthood successfuly. wether she lived through it all or not.

Snaggletooth watched the Nanotyrannus back away from the carcass. He walked towards the carcass and picked it up with his jaws then walked away. Snaggletooth thought about the Nanotyrannus and her baby. Well he didn't want to eat something so small and he didn't have to worry about competition due to the abundant amount of herbivores in the area. Snaggletooth decided to deal with the Nanotyrannus when it became a problem but for now he wanted to eat the carcass before he starved to death. Snaggletooth found a secluded area and began to eat the carcass he took from the Nanotyrannus

jubilee snorted in frustration, they had hunted for that carcass, but it could be worse...

they could be a carcass, both of them. then again, herbivores were plentiful, it was the pure definition of plentiful, in fact. and carnivore populations would boom too, due to this being prime breeding season. Jubilee was curious as to where the other nanotyrannus were, as it can't only be her who went. but she was curious, because, if they came, they would have to get rid of her baby for her to accept them. jubilee growled, she knew, without a doubt, that male nanotyrannus would try their luck at enticing her.

Bonez, Crush, Kane and Rylee woke to a comotion going on. Since the eggs could be left alone, Bonez took all three to the field to where it was happening. They just missed it. But they did see the mommy Nanotyrannus and her baby. Bonez could see that her leg was healing but slowly. But now that they were awake Bonez took Crush and Kane out for the hunt while Rylee stayed behind to watch the eggs.

Bonez, Crush and Kane were in no such hurry to take something so they walked to really get an idea who was weak and who was strong. They decided to take on a herd that almost killed Rylee, Styracosaurus.

Rylee stayed where she was to watch the mommy Nanotyrannus to make sure she doesn't make her way over here. Rylee hid herself so there was no attention drawn to herself. Rylee also watched Bonez, Crush, and Kane on their way to a paticular herd. She didn't like who they were taking on so she only hoped they would take on something else. Rylee turned around and made her way back to the eggs. Any day now and they would be born into this world. Rylee nuzzled the eggs gently with her nose andknew they will be very well taken car of, because Rylee would never let anyone harm them at any cost.

Even though he had eaten a gryposaurus, Snaggletooth was still a little hungry. Snaggletooth had decided he was going to hunt after all. He wanted something that would be just the right size for him to take down with very little trouble. Then, out of the corner of his eye he sees three Utahraptors running past him. Snaggletooth had no idea where they were going but he wanted to find out.

Snaggletooth slowly followed the Utahraptors untill he was able to smell the scent of Styracosaurus in the area. Snaggletooth then made up his mind and decided to hunt for Styracosaurus. Snaggletooth stood in a patch of tall, dense foliage and waited to see what the Utahraptors were planning

Bonez stared at the herd for a long while. He knew this was a herb that could kill him easily. They almost killed Rylee. Bonez looked closer and saw a baby that was sick. Easy pickings there. Bonez then looked to see where everyone was in he herd. The lead bull of this herd was at the watering hole way at the other side of the field and some other members too. It was the sick baby, its mother, and three others. Bonez wanted the baby but didnt know how weeed off they would be to attack. so it was going to to be a rush. Crush and Kane knew what they had to so they took off after the herd scaring them into panic, not giving a chance to circle up, but the two scared them away from the watering hole so the bull doesn't come back. Bonez then took off to drive the baby away from the herd to take it down. There was a catch, since the baby was too sick he was slow and very weak, so Bonez leaped on him and took it out. Crush and Kane came back to the carcuss and feasted.

Rylee came to the edge of the trees and saw they took something down, but she didnt dare walk out to go and join, but she could see that they kept a piece of meat out to bring back for her. She also looked around to make sure no one was watching her, because she doesn't want her eggs to be killed. When Rylee looked straight she saw the big blind T-Rex male staring at her. She felt uncomfortable, and threatened. She hissed. The big brute didnt attack he just watched the others and made himself known by roaoring as loud as ever. It made everyone look up and over at him as he stepped out. He was clearly hungry and angry, and he wasnt afraid to make sure he gets what he wanted.

Snaggletooth was getting ready to surprise and unsuspecting Styracosaurus when he heard a loud roar coming from his left. He turned to see a large, male Tyrannosaurus Rex standing a few feet away from him. Snaggletooth suddenly felt a feeling that he had not felt in a while, pure rage. He felt this way because he remembered this Tyrannosaurus for his early years. This Tyrannosaurus would always steal Snaggletooth's meal from him and always mocked him because of his size and also in a battle for territory this Tyrannosaurus took his left arm from him and swallowed it whole. Snaggletooth wanted payback for all the pain and suffering that Tyrannosaurus has caused. Snaggletooth rushed out of the foliage and tried to latch on to the neck of the blind male Tyrannosaurus, but he missed and stumbled right in from of him. Snaggletooth stared the Tyrannosaurus he one knew very well in the face.

As they sized each other up they both let out "mock bites" towards each other and roared in each other's faces, waiting for the other to strike

Bonez, Crush, and Kane grabbed what they could from their kill and darted back to the nest, before they couldn't get to Rylee and the eggs. The two T-Rex's were in full battle mode now.

Bonez and the other two finally made it back to the nest, but where was Rylee? All three dropped the food near the nest and went to search for Rylee. Calling out for her, Bonez becamse frantic, so he went to the edge of the trees and saw she was at the edge as well watching the two monsters. Crush and Kane went back to the nest while Rylee and Bonez watched. Clearly the Blind T-Rex was bigger, heavier and a bit stronger, but the other is younger lighter and faster too. It would definetly be a battle of the giants for these too.

Rylee watched the intense T-Rex's battle it out. She didn't feel comfortable seeing this and then knowing her eggs are still unhatced. So Rylee went back to the nest with Bonez close behind her. The pack stuck together hearing the sounds of the crashing and bashing. But Rylee becamse riled and wanted to see who was going to win. She went back to see the two still fighting. This time the big blind T-Rex had the younger male pinned on the ground roaring in his face. There was blood everywhere staining the ground. The bigger T-Rex bit down onto the shoulder of the younger T-Rex, got off and walked away to go and claim a plant eater of his own.

Rylee watched the younger T-Rex stagger to his feet, it was a complete shock to Rylee that the bigger one didnt kill him let alone won. The young male walked off away from the bigger male feasting on a Diabloceratops.

Jubilee could hear roars overhead, belonging to a pair of tyrannosaurus rex. she knew that they were probably males fighting eachother, maybe for mates, over a carcass, maybe. but that didn't matter to her.

She could smell a male nanotyrannus heading her way, obviously he must've smelt her scent whilst wandering around. this meant trouble, and jubilee had the instinct to know, she quickly hid her baby behind the bushes again, and stood in a more of a protective stance, her injured leg facing her baby so that it would be difficult for the male nanotyrannus to take her down that way.

and there it was, a large male stood at the entrance, seeing jubilee. instantly, he got into a half-submissive dance.

jubilee bared her teeth, this was the same male who tried to court with her earlier. she looked him over. if she went for the neck, which he was unsuspecting of, that would be an easy way to get rid of this nuissance, but her baby was almost ready to leave her...hmmm...difficult choices.

There was a quiet sense in the utahraptor group, Bonez laying near a tree, Crush and Kane laying about 5ft away from the nest, and Rylee laying right next to the nest head near an egg. Rylee was sleeping when there was little ruslting here and there, she tried shaking the noise away, but it became more frequent and she woke. The eggs were hatching.

The eggs were moving around, so obviously something wanted out. Rylee chirped and everyone else woke and gathered around, but their distance, for this was Rylee's eggs and she had to keep the bond for a while before the others can see them. Then there was a crack in one egg, another had a hole forming, and soon enough all four eggs had squeaking chirping heads sticking out. Rylee purred and stuck her head into the little group and they licked her giant nose. The future was looking good.

as a dinosaur you don't really care, as long as you can live.

 

for all you know, you're all just in one giant blob of land together, differant climates, plants...etc.

 

 

areas:

desert, tropical forest, forest, semi-desert, plains, semi-forest, full grasslands. hills.

You're a carnivorous or herbivorous dinosaur in the creataceous years...

 

 

everyday is a constant struggle for life, carnivores test the boundaries of eachother, whilst trying to keep the next generation-and themselves-alive.

history will be made up as we go.

 

 

 

1. general EX rules.

3. fighting is allowed, as dinosaurs did, but don't let it get too...bloody.

4. no curses.

5. your characters cannot talk, rely on body language and your epic literary skills.

6. your dinosaurs can be 'odd' colors, like blues and purples, but no rainbow dinosaurs/neon dinosaurs please(however awesome those are)

7. be realistic about your dinosaur. if your young/offspring/dino childrens stray off and into the wild, there's a slim chance of living. (about a 5% chance, anyone?) especially if it is injured!

8. baby dinosaurs stay with their mom and dad until they reach 2 years old, before that, they are not counted as actualy characters.

9. the age scale that you will type in is in years. human years, please.

i'd hate to find a dog age calculator xD

10. be realistic about friendships! it is unlikely that two large male carnivores will be buddies due to territorial competition! or a carnivore and an herbivore. Species don't usually befriend eachother, besides the offspring and the mother father bond thing. or if the dinosaurs befriending eachother are meant for packs, like utahraptors, dromaeosaurs, deinonychus, atrciraptors, etc., T-rexes are not going to form packs(if they did we'd be doomed!) besides a small family group that disbands when the young grow up.
