Drehli heared the gun shots and turned her head towards were it was comeing from. She bared her teeth again. The sense of danger for her friends was comeing back. She rembered what had happened before this time and she knew how to kill the two legged no scales. She let out a hiss and started to walk twoards the oise then to the side. She wanted to go investigate maybe even kill one to spread a warning. She looked back to her friends and staied. Better yet they could leave and next time they get to a better area and those no scales folllowed then she would kill.

The human realized that Drehli was coming toward him. He put on his cloaking device and sneaked back to the human camp. In response, the turrets have been turned on and switched to kill on sight. A Nanotyrannus ran straight towards the camp as if it were running away from something, only to be shot by the turrets until the corpse was unrecognizable. Witnessing the horror, Leo stepped back a little until he heard a loud roar behind him.

He couldn't believe his eyes. A large predator even larger than his Allosaurus friend was running towards the camp. The Tyrannosaurus rex noticed the corpse of the Nanotyrannus, set her jaws around it and carried away to be fed to her young which weren't too far behind. The small feathered creatures, no larger than the Dromaeosaurs from earlier, were happy to see the meal that their mother had brought them. As the little fluffballs were eating, the mother Tyrannosaurus looked at the group with a suspicious eye.

Suddenly, an anomaly has opened up right between the pack and the Tyrannosaurus family. One of the hatchlings tried to wander off to the light, but the mother came up and stopped him from getting there.

Drehli snarled at the T-rex. Might be bigger but that didnt matter to her. However she was quickly distracted by the Anomely that opened. She sniffed the air then looked at her friends. She would follow after them. She would rather get out of this land for now it was just becomeing a death trap. She let out a small little roar and started to walk to wards the light. The Female T-Rex let out a loud growl at Drehli but she flat out ignored the mother. She turned to her friends again and waited for them to come. She blinked her golden eyes and waited.
Knowing the queue, Leo roared and then leaped into the anomaly. Once through, he stumbled upon a forest. The Gorgonops looked around and was confused by the constant noises of his surroundings. Leo then looked to some bushes to his left and noticed a pair of eyes staring at him. He roared at the creature and it continued to prowl around the undergrowth. From what Leo could see, it was scaly and quadropedal. He watched the creature like a hawk until it simply stood still. Suddenly, the Pristichampsus leapt from its hiding place and onto a human that happened to be walking around the forest. Leo couldn't help but snort in laughter.
Forascens lumbered after the mishmash pack; at thsi point he'd figured that the anomalies were portals to other worlds, (he hadn't quite worked out the time bit yet) and their was a beast even larger than the beast he'd already encountered.  And it had chicks.  Anyhoo, as he stumbled through the portal, he was vomited into a forested area.  This would have been disorienting, if he hadn't already been thrown into a much mroe lush, humid plain.  The forest was nearly as alien as the world he'd previously encountered though.  If not more so.  For as he looked around, he saw that the flora and fauna were even less similar to those he was accustomed to.  He began to theorize on various fauna lifestiles in his head, andwas, once again, lost in his musings.

Callidus and the other pack hunters followed the pack. Callidus was willing to follow Drehili but wondered if the mismatched group was even a pack. She, her sister, Vhan and the howling pack hunting mammal could work as a team but Callidus didn't see the others as being able to communicate anything to Callidus or the other pack hunters that would be helpful, but they all followed the allosaurus so not much could be done about it...

Soft Fur saw all the inter animal problems in the pack but didn't know how to resolve them short of being the one they took their frustrations out on. Since they had no inhabitions about their anger or a different stop point Soft Fur didn't want to put herself at risk. Callidus her sister and that one male seemed safe to stay around because they were social hunters like her.

As Arnold went through the portal, he noticed a long legged crocodilian eat the corpse of a human. Never having the chance of tasting one of those two legs, Arnold walked up to the Pristichampsus and began to growl at it for it to retreat off the corpse. But the crocodilian wouldn't retreat so Arnold gave out a really loud roar to scare it off. Realizing that the large mammal was superior, the Pristichampsus hissed and then sneaked into the bushes to wait for scraps. Unfortunately for it, Arnold took the human corpse in his mouth and swallowed it whole.
Nakoba swam quickly through the murky waters of the swamp. Cursing her reddish scales she dove under and shot into a hollow under a tree. The other Kaprosuchus soon was visible in the murk. Luckily she had hidden right before he could see her through the muddy water. The giant male swung his head back and forth, trying to find her. "Idiot." Nakoba muttered after he swam away. Carefully she crept out of the hollow and checked to make sure he hadn't hung around. She swam to the surface and darted out of the water, just incase. Using her long legs, Nakoba propelled herslef forward and out of the other Kaprosuchus's territory.
Watched Arnold swollow the human Corpse. She shook her head and looked around. Her eyes stoped at the crocadillian then just went back to looking at the rest of the some what muddy area. Nothing. Good. She turned her head back to the rest of her friends and blinked her eyes. Nothing terrifing came from the anomaly. Again a good sign. She somewhat 'wagged' her tail and turned her eyes back to the ground were the smaller raptors were. She bent her head down to see if they were alright, sense that was the only way sense she couldnt just ask them then lifted her head again.
Nakoba slowed to a stop and slid behind a tree.  A lone claosaurus wandered through the brush. It cried out in pain. Nakoba looked closer and saw it had a bloody broken leg. Nakoba waited until it was in front of her before charging. The claosaurus didn't even see her coming until it was too late. She snapped it's neck between her powerful jaws and started to eat. When half of the carcass was gone Nakoba continued on her wanders. The sun was beginning to set when she saw the Allosaurus, Gorgonops, and the Entelodont. Nakoba could feel her eye twitch at the large predators only a hundred feet away.

It was starting to turn to night and Leo was getting tired. He considered this strange since he normally slept through the whole day and hunted at the night. He scratched at the dirt underneath him and layed down to rest. He then gave out a huge yawn, exposing his large saber teeth. The Gorgonops' whiskers twitched a bit as he rested peacefully.

Arnold was also tired and lied down next to his smaller ally. The Terminator Pig also gave out a huge yawn and closed his eyes to sleep. Both of the sleeping creatures started to snore really loudly. How could they even sleep with their own snoring.

Forascens softly gowled, rather anoyed witht he babaric behavior of the other animals.  As night approached, he found he wasn't the slightest bit tired.  In fact, it felt like it was maybe 1:00 in the afternoon?  Perhaps the strange interdimentional portals affected time as well?  Or perhaps this world didn't have as long days?  Or maybe the other way around?  Whatever the reason, Forascens found that the other animals had adapted to this kind of thing, though they didi not seem too well suited to this kind of environment.  Forascens was rather annoyed by this turn of events, as he blundered about the forest, attempting to find something edible.  He'd tried one of the strange creatures with the long, plant like substance covering their bodies, but this substance got stuck in his throat and itched.
The night has past and the group had a nice rest, at least as much of a nice rest that can be achieved with the snoring of a Gorgonops and Entelodont. Leo got up and noticed that the trees weren't as large as in the other time periods. The Gorgonops decided to test something and tried to climb one of the trees. Leo looked a bit ungainly as he tried to grab as much as he can to climb up. As he went halfway, gravity took its toll and the Gorgonops fell off the tree to the ground. Arnold looked at his ally and then snorted in laughter.
Callidus and her 'division' of the pack had slept well used to snoring of packmates. Vhan watched the insane swine and the adolescent gorgonops seem to buddy up and called out to Callidus trying to teach Soft Howl to say her name or as close as possible since the canine was clearly fairly intelligent. "Hey Callidus the smelly one and the adolescent have buddied up and the adolescent fell out of a tree!" The male utahraptor started laughing as did Bright Eyes. When Soft Howl looked over she started doing her kind's equivilant of a laugh and her tail was wagging. Callidus snickered for a bit then tried to teach the dire wolf again, Soft Howl knew what the raptor was trying to do and was doing her best but she could not replicate the hissing and it was making things hard for her. Callidus realized that the wolf was unable to voice the raptor language so she'd settle for whatever the wolf could say as long as she wasn't refering to Callidus by a raptor swear word. The raptor tried her sister's pet name Cal and the wolf said it easily, realizing it was a nickname she could voice and wagging her tail with joy.
Arnold stopped snorting when he noticed a human campsite. The humans there were smaller than normal and their bodies seemed to be a bit disproportionate. "Children? I wonder how delicious they would be." Arnold tried to sneak up to the camp but he stepped on a wire and a really loud noise erupted from within the camp. Not being able to take the ringing, Arnold ran back to his allies and squeeled in fear. Leo looked back as a few adult humans armed with the fire sticks are running straight towards the group. Thinking fast, the Gorgonops leapt into the bushes and sat in wait to ambush them.

Plot

Anomalies have opened up in various time periods and the various animals that time has forgotten have passed through these portals to find worlds that are new to them. Unfortunately, native animals are not going to give up their territory easily and would only allow the invaders in with their cold dead hands (or jaws, claws, hooves, etc.) To make things worse, humans are also passing through these portals for conquest. Whether you are an invader or a native, you must drive these two legs out of your realm.

History

Anomalies have appeared throughout the various time periods of Earth's prehistory. Because of this, creatures from these time periods are entering into eras that time has forbid them from going to. Because of these invaders, the native creatures are not too happy about this and have tried to do what they can to try to drive out the invaders. For some of these invaders, they are going through mass extinctions that are forcing them to migrate through time. For others, they are simply creatures in their prime that have been drawn in by pure curiosity. Whatever intentions the invading creatures have though, these invasions are causing ecosystems to collapse as both invaders and natives fight for supremacy. When it started to look like it couldn't get any worse, humans have arrived and are also taking their claims on the land.

Rules

-No Godmodding

-PG 13 You can have blood/gore, but not too much.

-Invading creatures cannot communicate with Natives and vice versa. Only creatures from the same time can communicate and can even negotiate despite predator/prey relationships.

-No matter what creature you are, you are going to have difficulty fighting against creatures that are ahead of (or behind) your own time. Because of this, you will likely get injured in such fights.

-You can have 3 characters. If a character dies, you can replace that character with a new one. These characters must also be from different times

-You must ask permission if you want to kill another player's character

-You can request playable species on the OOC.

-We will go through sort of a cycle for time periods that the characters go to. The first anomaly will take you to the Carboniferous. Each time period will be 15 posts which will result in another anomaly opening to the Early Permian. Then to the Late Permian, then to the Late Triassic and so on. If we managed to make it to the latest of the future time periods, we will end up going back to our own time periods to fight off invaders/humans. After that 10 posts, the cycle starts over again.

Note: Future Creatures won't be playable until the RP gets to the future. I allowed another spot for how many characters people can play so they can save up for the future creatures.
