As the humans in the blue suits were chasing Leo, they were starting to get shot down by the ones in the red suits. When Leo ran to the outskirts of the camp, he heard something move, but he couldn't see anything. Suddenly, a lightly built male human in a casual black suit and a red mask leaped at him and proceeded to stab the Gorgonops. Leo dodged the attack and knocked him down with one of his paws. He bit down on the man's foot and threw him one of the tents. Suddenly, the tent blew up and pieces of human flesh and bone were raining down all over the place.
Callidus decided to try to teach the others how to understand her and try to learn how to understand them. She started with the allosaurus by doing the self gesture and saying her name thing again and then gesturing to the larger dinosaur hoping she'd get it but knowing it was a long shot. She spotted Leo and forgot the teaching thing and started talking to him though once again she knew he wouldn't understand. "You're crazy you know that? Those things smell like smoke and things that make my feathers stand on end. I say we avoid those things, they seem as dangerous as a stampeding herd of plant eaters. I've lost many packmates to those things, so be careful I don't care to lose pack mates to anything..."

After having most of the humans killed, Leo roared in victory and then made a scent marking on one of the tents and then ran back to the two dinosaurs. After he got to them one of them seemed to be trying to tell him something. Of course he didn't understand, but judging by the way the creature was looking at him, he made the realization that the Utahraptor thought he was crazy for taking on the humans. Suddenly, a Seymouria crawled right in front of him. Being hungry from his battle, he bit down on the creature and swallowed it whole.

[we should have moved through two anomalies by now]

Callidus stared at Leo then turned and caught some small animal and ate it in one gulp, she was clearly lonely. No other raptors around for her to try to talk to. Callidus started grooming her feathers even flicking sand on herself for a sand bath. Leo had parasites on him but Callidus didn't try to remove them because the gesture could be misinterpreted. Callidus valued hygiene, and being a social creature she'd spend hours grooming her packmates. Having nobody to groom her meant she had to do it all herself and it wasn't as benificial for her. Regardless she had to do it, keeping her feathers oiled and fluffed helped her keep warm in the rapidly dropping tempratures and dry against the rain she smelled on the wind...

(Sorry I have been gone for so long!)

Drehli tilted her head and settled into a newer better position on the ground and laied her head back down. She blinked her golden eyes and watched the small raptor clean herself. She let out a huffed breath makeing the sand cloud up and made herself sneeze. Her tail flicked leaveing lines in the soft sand. "Wish you two could understand me. Its not going to be good if we cant comunicate. It would also be nice to hear another friendly word." She said basicaly to herself sense none else could understand her.

An Anomaly has opened to the Late Permian. Many creatures are now starting to migrate to it.
After devouring his meal, Leo looked to a distant forest. He noticed a bright light. He knew the queue and ran towards it. He noticed that the same Arthropleura that came through the last one was also going towards it as with the same swarm of Meganeura. He also noticed a herd of Edaphosaurus migrate towards it too. When he got through, he fiercely pounced through it. He couldn't believe his eyes, Leo is finally home. Dryer than the other two worlds he has been in and a total wasteland. He didn't know whether to be glad or depressed by this fact.
Callidus darted through the portal into another desert but this time she saw more of Leo's kind and she backed away from the snarling creatures. One chased her around trying to fight her. Callidus found some rocks and scrambled up. One of the pack was home... She glared down at the snarling creature. "I see where the first one got his insanity from..." The snarling creature was female and acting like she was in heat or something... Callidus wasn't sure what to male of this place. She was more homesick than ever. The raptor started grooming again to comfort herself...
As Leo looked around the familiar area, he noticed a pride of Gorgonops chasing after the Utahraptor that he was allied with. He remembered this pride. These individuals are rivals with his birth pride. He also realized that the alpha male of this pride is here. When they were done chasing the Utahraptor, Leo noticed a young female that was lagging behind the others. Believing that this is his chance to kill a member of the rival pride, he charged at the female. She tried to run away from him and roared for help. When Leo caught up to her, he tried to pounce onto her, but she managed to outmanuever him. When Leo landed on the ground, the female ran at him to attack him. Right when he got up, the female grappled onto him and tried to wrestle him down to the ground. As the two Gorgonops fought, they scratched each other, bit each other and threw each other to the ground.
Callidus watched the gorgonops tearing into each other and after taking careful aim jumped down killing claw hitting home severing the female gorgonops's jugular. She'd done the maneuver many times with her own kind hunting. Callidus saw the gorganop's pack circle around and have another go at her considering her the greater threat. Callidus went back up the rock and glared down at the pack's alpha in an insolent and defiant manner. The whole group was focused on her as she stared down at the alpha gorgonops. Even over millions of years some things never changed, how easy it was to enrage another predator was one of those things.
As Leo continue fighting the female, he seen a flash of brown quickly kill his opponent. He realized that it was the Utahraptor who is now surrounded by the enemy pride. The Alpha male was easy to distinguish due to his thick black mane, way thicker than Leo's and his huge saber teeth. Despite the fact that this male was obviously stronger than he is, Leo charged at him and managed to jump onto the Alpha's back only to be thrown off. The other Gorgonops backed away to leave room for the two to fight. Even the sky itself started to darken as the Leo and the Alpha began to fight. The two beasts are in a battle to the death as the larger, more experienced, but much slower Alpha male tried to get at his younger opponent. Leo tried to run circles to try to hit his opponent's flanks, but the Alpha just won't let him.
Callidus was up on the rock again planning her next strike, the gorgonops were watching Leo fight ignoring her. If she repeated the manuver she'd finished the other mammal reptile she might have to bolt all together not able to make it to the rock again. Even with the sand slowing her down she could run circles around even the fastest one of the pack easily. Her legs were longer and she was built for speed. Callidus snuck off the rock and got down as low as possible her plumage blending in with the rocks surprisingly well. Callidus darted in and slashed her killer claw into the alpha's neck but didn't go deep enough because the mane got in the way. Callidus circled around the pack before they knew what had happened and was back on the rock out of reach.
As Leo and the Alpha fought for the next half hour, the two seemed to be getting exhausted from the heat. Due to his old age and thick mane though, the Alpha was even more so than Leo. Leo also managed to take more hits onto him than the other way around. Even Callidus' attack managed to rip a small hole in his mane. As the two exhausted Gorgonops slowly charged at each other, the older male collapsed to the ground in a coma. The remaining members of the pride backed off from the victor as he panted. Being rather hungry from the fight, Leo started to eat the Alpha right in front of their eyes. After eating his fill, Leo walked off to find a place to rest.
Drehli had been slower but had watched from the shadows at the Gorgonops had fought. She blinked then turned and followed Leo still staying to the shadows. She looked up at the small raptor who was on the rock and let out a low growl at her. Not a mean one just to let her know she was here. She then walked out of the shadows close behind Leo. She turned her head to see if the small raptor Callidus was following. She blinked her golden gaze and then turned her head back and followed Leo. She yanwed and countied following.
After wandering through the desert in search of shade, the night has begun to fall and the temperature has started to cool down drastically. The Gorgonops remembered how cold the nights were normally and realized that if anything, he would need a source of warmth. He looked to the distance and seen a place with some lights. It was a human camp with a bunch of large cages. He got the idea that if he could sneak to the human camp, he might get some of that warmth from the lights. After a few minutes of walking through the desert, he got close enough in which he actually got some warmth. But when he looked at the cages, he realized that his family have been imprisoned in them. The Gorgonops tried to break free, but the metal bars just couldn't give in.

Plot

Anomalies have opened up in various time periods and the various animals that time has forgotten have passed through these portals to find worlds that are new to them. Unfortunately, native animals are not going to give up their territory easily and would only allow the invaders in with their cold dead hands (or jaws, claws, hooves, etc.) To make things worse, humans are also passing through these portals for conquest. Whether you are an invader or a native, you must drive these two legs out of your realm.

History

Anomalies have appeared throughout the various time periods of Earth's prehistory. Because of this, creatures from these time periods are entering into eras that time has forbid them from going to. Because of these invaders, the native creatures are not too happy about this and have tried to do what they can to try to drive out the invaders. For some of these invaders, they are going through mass extinctions that are forcing them to migrate through time. For others, they are simply creatures in their prime that have been drawn in by pure curiosity. Whatever intentions the invading creatures have though, these invasions are causing ecosystems to collapse as both invaders and natives fight for supremacy. When it started to look like it couldn't get any worse, humans have arrived and are also taking their claims on the land.

Rules

-No Godmodding

-PG 13 You can have blood/gore, but not too much.

-Invading creatures cannot communicate with Natives and vice versa. Only creatures from the same time can communicate and can even negotiate despite predator/prey relationships.

-No matter what creature you are, you are going to have difficulty fighting against creatures that are ahead of (or behind) your own time. Because of this, you will likely get injured in such fights.

-You can have 3 characters. If a character dies, you can replace that character with a new one. These characters must also be from different times

-You must ask permission if you want to kill another player's character

-You can request playable species on the OOC.

-We will go through sort of a cycle for time periods that the characters go to. The first anomaly will take you to the Carboniferous. Each time period will be 15 posts which will result in another anomaly opening to the Early Permian. Then to the Late Permian, then to the Late Triassic and so on. If we managed to make it to the latest of the future time periods, we will end up going back to our own time periods to fight off invaders/humans. After that 10 posts, the cycle starts over again.

Note: Future Creatures won't be playable until the RP gets to the future. I allowed another spot for how many characters people can play so they can save up for the future creatures.
