Sunstreak was getting rather desprate. There didn't seem to be a single sign of life on this small, grassy, floating island. She looked around and noticed a dark patch of trees to the west. "Oh well, perhaps there is some life there..." She thought glumly. When Sunstreak reached the trees, she was greeted by a quiet, mournful screeching sound. Sunstreak peered into the forest, and saw nothing. Sunstreak glanced back to the sunlit grass, and entered the dark forest. She walked for a while, then realized with horror that she was completely lost. The forest had seemed so small from the outside, how could it be this big?! Sunstreak thought fearfully.

Ria jumped out of the wreckage. Her neck was sore and her knee was swolen. She flew over to a small pond and took a drink. She immediatly felt better. She sat down near the pond and looked inside. She saw that there was something in the tree behind her. It was a strange little bird. It was grew with a black head. It was standing upright and it had no tail. Its wings were short and stubby. It was sooo cute! thought Ria. She got up and ran over to it. It was a baby penguin. "now where did you come from? Ria looked at the penguin. It was crying and it had a small cut on it's wing. Ria looked and saw that behind the penguin was a great beast. She gasped. The beast was a large lion without a mane. It had large fangs and they were stained red. Ria pulled out her bow and tried to shoot at the animal but it began to speak. "Why must you kill me? What have I done to you?" Ria stood there shocked.

Sunstreak decided to just keep walking. The forest had to end somewhere right? She was stopped by a hissing, growling noise. She looked around fearfully and saw a strange kiwi that looked similar to Star, with no jewelrly, weapons, and blood-stained feathers and claws. It growled again and then cackled like a mad bird. More creepy kiwis came out of the underbrush. A few seemed have some kind of war paint on....The first kiwi started yelling in another language and pointing at Sunstreak. Suddenly something small fell from the sky and hit the first kiwi on the head. It looked up, annoyed. More small objects were being thrown from a tall tree. Sunstreak examined one and found it to be a snake head. There were more head scattered around.

((I think that's how the war started))"  Kyle rubbed his head, (don't ask me how) said "Ow" and jumped at the beast, biting it in the side."  Kyle did not let go, even when it started shaking and running around."  Eventually, after it had trampled much and roared even more, the toxins within Kyle brought it down."  Anything big enough for him to effectively bite that couldn't pry him off was vulnerable, and he was really lucky."  That's a combination almost as deadly as a maniacle and badly programmed A.I unit warming the deadly nuerotoxin."  ((Need four words now.))" 

Twilight woke up from being unconsious. She landed deep in the forest. She was completly lost. The sun was starting to set and she could see things moving in the shadows. She clutched her wing and blood came off on her toes (or fingers). She had a small cut on her stomach so she just wrapped her cape around the cut. She heard a voice. It seamed to be calling to her. By this time she was totally freaked out. So, she just walked toward the voice for she thought she had nothing to loose. As she walked closer, the voice trailed off into a wisper that she could just hear in her ear. "Don't turn around......."

Ria looked at the creature confused. She put her weapon away. "Now child," said the beast. "I know what you and your friends are looking for...... Hop onto my back and I will take you to the temple." Ria, not knowing what to expect, hopped onto the beast's back. The beast ran so fast that everything around was almost a blur. They stopped at a large door, there were no walls, just a door. The beast opened the door. The temple was inside it, only it seemed nicer and newer. The door seemed to be some kind of Time machine......

Star cackled and continued to throw snake heads that she ripped off of a poor glide-snake patrol that was slithering around. She clecnehd the tree, her rock in hand, and she yelled below, "Remember me?" She seemd to be both talking to the strange kiwis and Sunstreak, then shre repeated it in the strange language of the kiwis. She cakcled again and threw her last snake head she had in her little inventory.

 

(need a lot of words so ijfkhbgidfjkn gjfkdhl gfdhjg fdlkjh ugh come on words, disappear already! XP DISAPPEAR I SAY *bored from typing strange random words* okay finally) XD

(( try not to use "filler words" XD I think the mods might delete posts with that in it...)) Sunstreak suddenly recognized Star among the other war-painted kiwis. She smiled. This seemed to be where star truly belonged, among the insane wild kiwis of....Sunstreak's thought trailed off. Where was she anyway? She figured somewhere between the robin village and Sky City. She hoped that this floating island was closer to Sky City though...Sunstreak did not want another run in with those strange owls- Sunstreak squeaked in pain and suprise as a random kiwi chucked a sharp bone at her head. Star seemed to get angry and about to stab it...Suddenly everyone stopped moving and quieted down. Something was coming.

("filler words"? Is that what they are called? But what if we can't get enough words? D:) Star's head flicked up and then she crouched down and shivered. The kiwis of the strange tribe seemed to mumble in their own language and Star's blue eyes flicked with worry. She stared over at Sunstreak and muttered... "It can't
  be... I haven't heard of this since i was a chick cradled in my mother's wings!"She froze and felt her heart squeeze. She actually felt something in her heart! For, her heatr has been dormant all her life... and now it has awakened to the feeling of sadnes at the word ",mother."

Sunstreak was touched. Who were these strange kiwis? She had never seen Star this way, ever. She suddenly remembered a strange word she had heard once. Thugees. She didn't remember where though. Sunstreak smiled and decided that was what she would call them. A strange little kiwi with colorful markings dropped out of tree randomly, and almost landed on Sunstreak. It looked to be about the same age as Kari. Sunstreak sighed sadly. "I hope she's alright..." She half-mumbled to herself. Some of the thuggee-kiwies started to move off into the forest. Soon most of them had given Sunstreak one last glance and left as well. Star was among them, chattering away in their strange language. Suddenly, a loud squeaking was heard coming from nearby. Every kiwi except Sunstreak and Star frozed and dropped down to the ground, almost as if they were...bowing?

Star gulped, "Noooo...." She squeaked in fear and hid in  a bush, remmebering this dreadly screech she heard many times when she stayed here. The coming of a ritual. Star shivered and gently began grooming her feathers with her beak on instinct. If she had to get involved with this dreadly ceremony., then she had to look presentable for it. She closed her eyes and hoped the kiwi that would soon come wouldn't find her..

 

A kiwi dressed in a black robe appeared and her started to mumble in te sttrange language the Thuggee kiwis all shared. Following him was two blacck kiwiws holding a strugling young white male who looked fearful as ever. The leading kiwi mentioned to the others and they followed, muttering, "Kali Ma." One of them looked at Sunstreak as if that she should follow.

Sunstreak was suddenly on edge. She sensed something horryifying was going to happen, and she did not want to be near when it did. She snuck away slowly into the bushes. She heard the kiwis chanting something. Sunstreak realized that she had to stop this, and soon. She wished Twighlight was there to fix everything, but she wasn't. She peered up at the sky and thought she saw something flying. "Probably just over-tired.." Sunstreak thought to herself. She heard more chanting then a squeaky shout. She risked a look back and saw a horrifying, gruesome scene unfolding. She didn't see Star anywhere though. 

Star closed her eyes tight as she haerd the poor sacrafice... screeching his head off as if he was being killed.. She looked up and saw the kiwi who was leading the Thuggees clutching the poor kiwi's heart and screaming  "Kali Ma!" She gasped, as if she never had seen this before, but hse has seen it many times. Then, Thuggee kiwis pushed the  sacrifice away, and she knew, the kiwi was going to be burned alive, even when the leader still had his heart. Then, as if on time, the heart in the leader's talons just caught on fire and Star gulped and ducked her head again, shivering as if she was in the Arctic.

Twilight stood frozen in the darkness. She heard the voice. She clutched her gun. She turned her head ever so slightly. Her neck felt something cold and sharp. A knife was near her neck. Out of the corner of her eye she could see a large shape. She gathered up her strength and shover her leg under the figure's leg, tripping it. It layed on the ground. She looked more closely and saw that it was some sort of walking lizard creature. Twilight stood horrified as it stood up, blood trickling down it's horendous face. Twilight ran as fast as she could to escape the demon lizard. When she was sure she had gotten away from it, she rested behind a tree only to find the corpses of many dead glide snakes...... Twilight screamed.

Juck watched as Ria rode away on the beast that he thought Kyle had killed.  Suddenly, a large walking lizard ran out of no where!  Juck gasped, and stated.  It was a member of one of the Ancient races, of which only the Owls had survived...  It couldn't be...  The lizard reached a foreleg up to wipe the blood from it's face, while Juck simply mumbeled lines from the legends, talking of the inslavement of the lizards by the Octopi empire, and how they were freed by the benevolent Volcano mage.  For fourty years after that, they were the most powerful of all nations, but then, they simply vanished.  The lizard, seeing that Juck knew the legends, sighed with relief. "Ah, you obviously know your stuff.  Saves me time.  As you know, my empire dissapeared, right?" Juck slowly nodded.  "Wrong!  We simply discovered technology that allowed us to change shape.  A few glide-snakes figured out our secret, got a suit of our armor, and reversed engineered it.  Of course, the blundered a bit, but they are a threat all the same, since they are planning to use it to end this war.  I came in search of the great and powerful Volcano Mage for advice, when your friend over there came blundering into a Twin Gaurdian.  I had to threaten her to fool it, and, as soon as it leaves, what does she do?  SHe trips me!  Wow, that was a blunder.  I like that word, don't you?  Anyway,  now, she's going to die.  Those Twin Gaurdians have good ears, and they won't let her scream go unnoticed for long.  Well, she deserves it, she tripped me." Juck simply shut his mouth and nodded.  He certainly wasn't going to go in after Twilight, he'd read books on the Twin Gaurdians.

In the glorius Sky City, a huge metropolis of kiwi civilization, and surrounding villages and forests, all of which float thousands of feet above the planet. Of course, you may go wherever you like when possible :) The main mode of transportation are flying ships and hover-craft, but just about anything is acceptable.

The highly advanced empire of kiwi birds is at at war with the glide-snake empire. You must survive various attacks in various locations, and occasionally, other birds. The main villain is obviously, the glide-snakes (which are huge, about 3ft long) also there is an evil, traitorus kiwi named Terrance.

Mammals are virtually extinct or very rare ;)

Rules: same as most other rp's ;)
1. no bad words (swearing and such)
2. don't be overdescriptive XD
3. you may have a crush or a mate, but PLEASE don't make it all disgusting and gross. (make it more of a close friendship)
4. You can get hurt and possible die, but no killing some one else's character unless you have permission.
5. use your imagination! I do not want my first rp to be super boring and lame XD your kiwi can be any color(s) and have an awesome personality.
6. you may have a max of 3 characters, two MUST be kiwis and be your "main" characters, the other may be another kind of bird or snake or similar creature :)
