Roleplaying

Kari desperatly tried to convince Star to go investigate the voice, but she didn't seem to understand her garbled words. Kari gave up and dejectedly watched a small bug crawl around. Star turned her back for a moment, and Kari was off like a shot, running as fast as she could toward the voice. Kari stopped suddenly. It had been quiet for a while now, so there was no point in running off..,she shrieked in fear as a huge black bird flew low overhead. Kari turned and nearly ran into another one nember of the owl kingdom. Both enemy birds advanced stealthily toward the terrified kiwi. Kari looked everywhere for an escape plan, but saw none...suddenly a very loud roar shook the cave they were in. Kari smiled happily; it was her dragon friend. (don't ask how they are friends XD)

Star screamed at the top of her lungs when she discovered Kari was missing. What is so special about this kiwi? All she does in run off! Why would my Master want her? She thought sarcastically as she  ran outside her little shelter. She saw a black bird grab her. Star was furious, annoyed, and she felt hopeless. Star sighed and facepalmed herself. I  am SO going to kill that black bird! She raced after the black bird and heard a loud raor. SHe looked over and saw a dragon chasing the black bird as well. Star made a squeaking sound and froze. She was NOT going to compete with a dragon for a tiny kiwi! Even if it meant death for Star!

Juck, annoyed with how many people were after this particular gem, said in an annoyed voice, "We are after the gem of wisdom, which you are no doubt as well, and frankly, I am a bit ticked off concerning how many people are after this same gem.  Now, if you are willing to let us go, we will kindly give you information on who else is after this gem, as they are a heck of a lot more powerful than the likes of you.  In fact if i remember correctly, the ancient raven tribe is nearly extinct, due to the innability to fly, introduced by the thinner atmosphere, up here in the sky, on floating islands."

Kari ran toward the dragon rather than away from it. The owl and raven fled in complete terror, and Star seemed to be running away as well. The dragon flew in a circle overhead and landed nearby. Kari ran over and happily "hugged" the dragon with her tiny wings. She saw Star slowing inching her way back, hoping she wouldn't get burned or eaten. The dragon made a low growling noise, and Kari, with much difficulty, clambered onto its back, and perched there as if she did this everyday. The dragon took off, and grabbed Star on the way out of the cave. It grabbed something else as well, but Kari couldn't tell what. 

Star screamed and looked at the dragon's huge paws...not to mention its claws. "Oh Apteryx...save me!" She mumbled to her Kiwi God. SHe closed her eyes and remembered all the things in her life that she regreted, hoping that Great Apteryx will forgive her for all her murders, sins, and all that other stuff that caused a kiwi to go down to the Fire Place. She looked up and saw that Kari was standing on the dragon's back. "Kari! Are you crazy!" Star cried up to the little kiwi. Star's eyes grew wide as she saw the dragon was taking Kari and Star to a cave.

Sunstreak never saw the dragon coming. She was too busy focusing on not dying, as two huge ravens came out of the shadows. One leaped toward her head, but she knocked it off with her sword. The other seemed to be more cunning. It attacked when she wasn't looking, leaving a large gash on Sunstreak's leg. She yelled in pain and hopped around on one foot, trying to avoid the the cackling ravens. That was when the dragon swooped overhead, and grabbed Sunstreak in its claws. Sunstreak didn't know which was worse, being ripped apart by ravens or eaten by a dragon...The dragon only made a brief stop in the other cave, and that was to pick up Twighlight and Juck, who both resisted violently. The dragon flew away, far far away from the volcanoes, toward another rather large island.

Star was put down in the sand of the island. Even though the dragon thought it was gentle, it was still`a rough landing for the small kiwi. Star screeched as she landed in the sand and glared up at the dragon. She looked around, Sunstreak! They were all back together again. Kari hopped off the dragon and Star looked around the island, the other kiwis getting up slowly and exploring small areas, trying to stay as a ground in a  new enviroment. Star blinked and looked towards the forest behind her. There were plently of fruit trees that she knew had ediable fruit, plently of rivers, and lots of caves. They COULD survive here.

Twilight awoke from a deep sleep. where was she? she thought, as she sat up in the warm sand. She brushed the sand off, and saw the clear water at the edge of the sand. She immediately stood up and ran toward the water, but was stopped at the sight of a large dragon-like creature. She fell backward in the sand, her beak wide open. "Wha-what in the world is that!?" She screamed to the others. The dragon lowered it's head near Twilight. She shuddered at the breath of the dragon. She closed her eyes tightly, afraid the dragon would eat her. It just nudged her lovingly, and she hugged it. It was a beginning of a new friendship.

After hugging Sunstreak a half a dozen times, Kari crawled under a bush and took a nap. She was exhausted after the lengthy trip with the dragon.... When she woke up, the other kiwis had made a campfire, and were discussing what to do next. "I think we should go back to Sky City." She heard Sunstreak say. "No way. I'm never going back to that city. Too dangerous for me." Was Twighlight's response. Juck was silent, and appeared to be fiddling with a piece of metal. Star was eating something disgusting and messy.

Sunstreak spotted Kari in the bushes and beckoned for her to come over. She sat quietly and stared into the flames, as though they were trying to tell her something.

Star scoffed enjoying her mango, "I am never going back to Sky City, even if you had to drag me back!" She had plenty of reasons to not go back. A- Dangerous snakes B- Dangerous kiwis C- Too crowded and D- She hasn't completed her mission yet. And when a kiwi doesn't finish a mision for her master....is doesn't end well for the poor kiwi. She shivered at the thought and looked back to her mango, enjoying its delish mango-ness. Thinking of her mission: To bring Kari to her master... She blinked and shook off the mago juices al over Juck and Twilight, who looked disgusted.

Juck, still fiddling with that peice of metal earlier, said nothing.  Stranded on this horrible uncivilized rock, he was in a bad mood.  Not only would one of their competetors probably get the gems, but his ship was still on that volcanic island.  Seemed like it was time to search a new amazing relic out of ancient lore, because at this point, he was most certainly not getting those.  They only had one, and, in Juck's opinion, it was the most useless.  Eventually, he sihged, stood up, and decided to seach this barren rock of an island for a conductor. 

Sunstreak stood up, yawned, and decided to take a short walk to explore the small island, though there wasn't much to see.... Kari followed behind her, hopping and running with seemingly unlimited energy. Every few minutes she would stop and look at something on the ground. Sunstreak felt the warm sun soaking into her feathers and thought about how happy she was not be in another battle. Violence was just not her skill...Which reminded Sunstreak of her favorite hobby, art!  She sighed sadly. If only they could go to Sky City so she could restock on art supplies like paints and brushes.... Perhaps if she pleaded enough to the others, they might go. Sunstreak turned to call Kari back and noticed that she was gone. "Ugh, not AGAIN! That silly little creature...." She moaned and went in the direction she guessed Kari had gone. 

Star grabbed a black rock from the ground and sighed, "Master.....I'm trying!" She threw the rock at a tree truck and shook her head. She looked up and noticed with dread that the sky was darkening, Dear Apteryx, rain! When I'm so far from the others! She stood up and shook her dusty feathers and ran back to the edge of the island where the small group were staying. She looked around, noticing Sunstreak and Kari were missing. "Where are they?" She asked Twilight, the kiwi pointed towards the jungle, and Star sighed, I guess I can only hope that Kari doesn't get too injured, my master would murder me and feed me to a glide snake!

Kari raced deep into the forest, not going anywhere specific... she simply felt like expelling energy and at the same time explore the forest. Kari found a large hollow log and crawled inside, coating her feathers in mold and decay. She stepped on something cool and rough that was half-buried in moss. Kari bent down for a closer look and then stepped back in horror. she backed out of the log, slowly and quietly,trying not to scream. For there was a large group of sleeping glide-snakes in there ... suddenly one of them stirred. It lifted it's head and immediately locked it's steely gaze onto Kari, who wad terrified beyond all reason. The glide-snake lunged, and Kari screamed for Sunstreak and took off running.

 Star heard a screech as she sharpened her talons and ran into the forest and saw glide snakes. She huffed and sliced, killing one and scaring the others off. She wodnered where KAri and Sunstreak were and continued to venture looking for them. She looked down and saw tiny kiwi footprints in the dirt. Kari. Star followed them, and they led her to a pave, Star pondered if she should really go in there, and she decided she would. Stone in talons, she walked in catiously, looking for KAri and she quietly called the little kiwi, hoping to run into Sunstreak or Kari eventually.

In the glorius Sky City, a huge metropolis of kiwi civilization, and surrounding villages and forests, all of which float thousands of feet above the planet. Of course, you may go wherever you like when possible :) The main mode of transportation are flying ships and hover-craft, but just about anything is acceptable.

The highly advanced empire of kiwi birds is at at war with the glide-snake empire. You must survive various attacks in various locations, and occasionally, other birds. The main villain is obviously, the glide-snakes (which are huge, about 3ft long) also there is an evil, traitorus kiwi named Terrance.

Mammals are virtually extinct or very rare ;)

Rules: same as most other rp's ;)
1. no bad words (swearing and such)
2. don't be overdescriptive XD
3. you may have a crush or a mate, but PLEASE don't make it all disgusting and gross. (make it more of a close friendship)
4. You can get hurt and possible die, but no killing some one else's character unless you have permission.
5. use your imagination! I do not want my first rp to be super boring and lame XD your kiwi can be any color(s) and have an awesome personality.
6. you may have a max of 3 characters, two MUST be kiwis and be your "main" characters, the other may be another kind of bird or snake or similar creature :)
