Lanzia rolled her eyes at Vaan and watched as the boat pulled up to a dock. "Were on the other side now, both of you cut it out so we can get moving. And Vaan, I'm pretty sure sticking your tongue out at people isn't a smart idea. You'll either lose your tongue or swallow a bug. And Eric... nevermind." Lanzia didn't want to make Eric any angrier. She was pretty sure shed say the same thing too if Vaan had stuck his tongue at her. She sighed looking at Idisis, he was now asleep. "We're going to need to find a way to get Idisis off this boat safetly, anyone have a good idea?" Lanzia saw that Idisis wasn't moving, if someone didn't look close enough he'd look like he was dead. She was positive he was just sleeping though, she could see his faint breathing.
Eric held his rage back back while his eyes shot fire to Vaan. Vaan turned around and stood up, ready to go to land. Due to the sulking in a corner his legs felt asleep. He shook his legs to get his feeling back. from a distance it was very funny. He felt Eric's very angry glare at his skin. He looked up, it was noticeable that Eric did not blink and Cold chills ran down Vaan's back.' Okey, Eric is really really really mad at me.....i hope i survive this night' Eric broke his glance and answered Lanzia;' The best options are 1: bandit or 2; a stretcher or 3: something else'
Lanzia sighed looking at Bandit. "Bandit has to help Nightmare get around, so he's out of the option, and where would we get a stretcher on a boat?" Lanzia sighed looking at Idisis, Idisis was fast asleep, but his breathing sounded shallow. "We should try and figure out something else, since I'm almost positive a boat wouldn't have a stretcher."
Bandit sat by Fronder looking worried at Idisis and Nightmare. Fronder scratched Bandit behind the ear knowing he was just as worried as he was. He looked at Idisis worried he would die. Fronder sighed looking at Bandit, trying to get worry off of his mind. "I taught Bandit a few tricks too... Bandit, jump." Bandit did a backflip on command. "Play dead." Bandit feel to the ground holding his breath and closing his eyes. "Speak." Bandit got back up. Bandit looked at Fronder speaking the best he could. "Ggggrrri." Fronder sighed petting Bandit on the head, he knew that was Bandit's attempt to say hi. "Close enough."
Vaan happily clapped his hands,deeply impressed with a smile on his face while Eric frowned and shrugged his shoulders.' What is so impressing about that, every pet or trained animal can do that on Commando ' He said when he stopped frowning and knelt down near Idisis. Vaan came between them ' That's not true, not every pet or trained animal can do that,for example a gold fish can't do that....and by the way we still need a way to carry Idisis.......who got any ideas?' 'There is no other way ...... we need to carry him ourself' Eric answered slightly annoyed by Vaan.
Fronder sighed looking back at Vaan and Eric. "I have an idea, Bandit, come here." Bandit walked up next to Idisis. Fronder had set Idisis onto Bandit. "Nightmare, come here." Nightmare limped over to Fronder. Fronder pulled a healing potion out of his pocket. "Eric didn't have to use the entire healing potion for his arm so I kept the rest, I think this should work." Fronder poured the healing potion over Nightmare's wounds. In almost no time at all Nightmare felt much better. "Now all Bandit has to do is carry Idisis around." Lanzia sighed watching as the other passengers began exiting the boat. "So where are we going after we get of this evil thing?"
Eric thought deeply and remembered that Idisis had said before they got on the boat that they now must go trough a wood.' The woods, that is what Idisis had said before we went to the boat' Vaan had something to be added, He imitated a ghost and said with a funereal voice:' whooooo.....the DARK woods....whoooooo' Eric ignored Vaan's wailing ghosts imitation. And placed a hand on his sword, ready to slash every monster or ghost on his way.' Why are we still standing here, let's go!' And he walked resolutely off the boat. Vaan walked behind him and a woman was shocked by his ghost imitation. 'The souls of fallen heroes will never have peace....whooo-...ouch!' He fell off the boat with his face in the sand.
Lanzia sighed giving herself a facepalm. "Really Vaan? Your going to be doing that? Honestly theirs a higher chance of being killed by a tree branch than us meeting a ghost." Once Lanzia got off the boat Fronder and Bandit walked off. Bandit had to walk slow so he wouldn't disturb Idisis who was sleeping on his back. Bandit loved the feeling of soft warm sand on his feet. It was now dark out and ahead of them was a dense dark forest. Bandit cowered in fear of the forest. Fronder looked at the forest ahead, a sence of dread and grief filled him as he looked at it. "I don't like the looks of this forest, something about it seems off, I don't know what yet."
Vaan suddenly appeared behind Fronder still acting like a ghost, but then with a red spot on his forehead from his landing in the sand.' WHOOOOOO....spooky isn't it.......WHOOOOO.....the souls of fallen her-...!!' Eric put a hand over Vaan's mouth, so he could not finish his sentence.' Yeah, Vaan we know it already, just shut up...' Vaan mumbled something while Eric still covers his mouth:' mmemicbmletbmgobmdontbmanmgrybm ........ mmhoooooooo!'( Eric let go, don't be so angry....whoooooooo!)' Eric removed his hand from Vaan's mouth and rubbed it against his belt( his hand, not Vaan's mouth) to clean it. 'Vaan .... please get a life ' Eric complained.
Lanzia sighed as the group entered the forest. "Vaan, I think your scaring Nightmare, just look at him." Nightmare was whining and crying in fear as they entered the forest. Nightmare stayed close to Vaan frightened of every little sound he heard. "Vaan? What happens if ghosts find us? I'm scared, Idisis is still hurt, what if the ghosts kill him?" Lanzia rolled her eyes. "There aren't any ghosts! Vaan's just trying to scare us all. Now Nightmare be quiet." Lanzia looked at the forest that was now around them, it was dense, dark, and frightening. Then she heard the wind pick up. Ahead of her a ghost appeared. The ghost looked with red glowing eyes at the group. "Why have you trespassed my forest!?"
' I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, THERE ARE REALLY GHOSTS.....I WAS RIGHT.....YOU GUYS DIDN'T BELIEVE ME....I WAS RIGHT!!' Vaan shouted triumphantly. 'What did you say, Lanzia?' He teased and imitated Lanzia:' theirs a higher chance of being killed by a tree branch than us meeting a ghost,There aren't any ghosts.........got any more to say Lanzia?'' Eric facepalmed and suggested 'I've got a idea, what if we dump Vaan in the woods....who is with me?' Vaan walked cheerfully to the spirit and bowed politely and said;' Dear ghost, we're sorry for intruding your forest but we are on a quest, do you see that prince over there? He is cursed by his uncle the bad wizard, and we are gonna help him get his heart back, but for that we need to cross your forest, please allow us to enter your forest, we won't disturb you any more dear ghost' He waited patiently for an answer. 'He has never spoken to me so properly' Eric noticed.
The ghost's eyes continued to glow red, he had a sinister smile. "I bet you the monsters and wild vicous animals will kill you before you can finish crossing this forest." The ghost gave an evil laughter before it dissapeared into the night.
Nightmare ran over to Vaan holding his leg as tight as he could. "I'm scared. What if the monsters get us? What if they eat Idisis?" Nightmare burst into tears of fear as he continued to cling onto Vaan's leg.
Lanzia rolled her eyes when the ghost disappeared. "Yes I have something to add." Lanzia picked up a small fallen branch and threw it at Vaan's head. "Stop saying things to scare Nightmare. We're never going to get him to stop crying like he is unless you cut it out. And if there are any monsters here I hope they eat you first."
'But what i say is true' Vaan said with an innocent face while petting Nightmare to conform him.' And by that , i'm not scaring Nightmare and if there are monsters i just pull out my sword and then the monster will die of fear' He laughed determined and threw the tree branch back to Lanzia.' They will die of laughing when the monsters see you' Eric said sharpening his sword and looked up to Vaan who's black messy hair almost hid his also black eyes.' Very funny, you guys are just angry because i was right....but i'm not scared, come Nightmare, there is nothing to be afraid of' And without looking back he Walked Further into the dark woods.' AND THE MONSTERS WILL NOT EAT ME FIRST BECAUSE I'LL EAT THEM FIRST..........!!'
Lanzia ropled her eyes at Vaan who seemed so confident. She stopped walking for a few moments when she heard a howl. "Did any of you hear that?" The group stopped to look back at Lanzia. Lanzia was looking around nervously as she heard another howl.
In the forest there was a pack of fifteen wolves. Each one of them could speak English and worked for the bad wizard. The alpha male steeped infront of them. "Tonight we will eat these trespassers and our master will be pleased. Kill them all!!!" The pack of wolves came out of the forest preparing to kill the group.
A wolf ran at Lanzia biting her arm. Lanzia stepped on the wolf's paw then threw it to the ground. One of the wolves managed to pull Idisis off of Bandit's back. Three wolves surrounded Idisis who was uncontious. "We should just eat this one now, just so we can put him out of his misery."
Vaan began the attack by tackling the three wolves who surrounded Idisis ready to eat him alive. Vaan tackled them and let them fall over like dominoes. he cheered and growled against the wolves standing before Idisis who was still uncontious ''If you want to eat him, to first have to eat my, who dares to touch him with his dirty wolf paw is going to be wolfmeat for sure!' Eric kicked off a wolf who was biting in his right leg. He was mobbed by two other wolves who jumped on him. He grabbed their tails and swung the wolves 2 meters away from him.'The Animal protection will hate me now'
Lanzia pulled out her ax as she looked around her. "I don't think these wolves are in need of protection anyway Eric." A wolf jumped on Lanzia's back. The wolf bit her neck causing her to feint. Before the wolf could go in for another bite Nightmare threw the spear he was given before at the wolf's head killing it. Nightmare pulled his spear out of the wolf's head and stayed next to Lanzia to protect her.
Frondsr pulled out his bow and arrow, he shot an arrow into the alpha's hind leg causing him to limp. One of the wolves snook up behind Vaan and dragged Idisis away from him unnoticed. The wolf prepared to take a bite of Idisis's neck, the wolf didn't realize that Vaan had now just seen him.
