He continued breathing heavy until he calmed down a bit more so he could give an answer. "C-Considering you've tried to kill me twice now, he'd probably try and destroy you. The only way I see you even getting close to him is if I could talk some sence into him." His own fear had jolted him wide awake so now he could think clearly. He still wondered what the rest of the group would think of him. He knew his ghost might not be too happy with him, but it was for his own life. Didn't that make it OK? He then again focused his attention to Insanek. "He most likely knows more than I do. For all I know he might know the exact location of the man. I'm still not sure, he usually would never tell me everything about something like this. He usually makes me come up with an answer myself." Deonday gave a sigh of relief, but he wondered one more thing. Does this mean Insanek would leave him alone for good?
He was about ready to fall to the ground. Right now he was beyond the point of exhaustion. His legs were about to give out on him and his arms were very tired. He wasn't used to situations like this, he was relieved though. The lizard creature said he wouldn't kill him. Turning to his right he could se a dark figure approaching him. It came closer and closer until it was right in front of him. He knew he had seen, and now Jewel was running away from them. He immediately broke out into a sprint after her. "Jewel, wait up." As he ran his legs began weakening even more. By this point his legs had begun burning in pain as he ran. His breathing was very heavy as he ran. Keeping a steady pace was almost impossible for him. "Jewel..." Deonday's body finally gave out and he feinted on the bridge.
Lilya closed her eyes, mumbled something in the snake's language and looked up, she saw Deonday faint and Jewels looked terrified with Hina padding behind her slowly, sharing he rfear. "That lizard man needs a peice of my mind." Lilya mumbled, Hokey following her fearlessly. Lilya looked at Hokey and said, "Hokey.  Thanks for everything you have done so farm if we don't live long, thanks to this lizard guy, I just wanted to thank you for your loyalty to me." Hokey nodded, he held his own hands enrvously now, at the mention of death. "Yes master." He said shakily.
Jewels awoke to the sounds of whispering and cackling. She looked around. Everyone was still here, talking. But, she could hear the distinct cackling of the lizard creature. She had only slep for about ten minutes. She got up off the chair. Her neck was already stiff and sore. She got up to join the group, only one person was missing. It was Deonday. She remembered seeing him before she dozed off. He was talking to the lizard creature. She saw him up ahead and decided to go and get him. When she was somewhat close, she relized he WAS talking with the lizard man. When she saw him, she turned around and began running the other way. While she was running, she relized something. She suspected that the lizard creature wanted information on the man with the huge bounty on his head, though, no one can tell how old that poster was, his bounty could have risen. She remembered the device she picked up from the strange mechanical men, and she hoped Deonday forgot about it.
He could clearly see his master feint onto the bridge. Ghosts regained their energy quickly, so now he was ready for a fight. He watched Insanek, he didn't seem interested in a fight anymore. In fact it seemed as if he was going to leave. He turned to look at Hokey and Lilya. "I'm not sure we want to get ourselves in another fight, that crazy lizard doesn't seem to interested with us anymore. I'm pretty sure Insanek rather leave. It would be wiser to find somewhere to rest." Grendile seemed very serious when he spoke. He wasn't looking for a fight anymore. He just wanted to make sure everyone would stay safe. "It's late and most of us are tired. I don't think it would be smart to start another fight." Grendile looked at Insanek's movements, they showed that he most likely was going to leave. But he knew how unpredictable Insanek could be.
"Could you keep that munching of yours to a stop. Our victim is going to get away." Grasha silently hid in the shadow of a nearby tree. "If only they'd get close enough so I can..." Grasha was rudely interrupted by her dragons growl. She watched as her dragon stood up shooting their victim with a meniacle laughter. "C'mon, I said I would get this one! Now didn't I? Well at least we can turn his body in, come on now." Her dragon willingly fallowed her to a body exchange. Since bounty hunting was so popular in the city they were in there was a body exchange center that had been made so that if you turned in some one with a bounty you would be paid quickly. As she walked out of the center she saw a poster of a man. "Wow, the price for him is now $100,000,000? Last week it was only $1,000,000. I wonder how bad this guy messed up. Well we should be headed back to our hide out." Grasha and Feralie had come to an abandon warehouse. This is where they temporarily lived.
Zonan stood up from a crate he was sitting on as they walked into the warehouse. "Caught anything good tonight?" He asked, slowly walking up to him, his arms folded, and his sword making clinking sounds at his side. They showed him the wanted picture of the man with a bounty of one hundred million Cornon dollars on his head. He snatched it from them and looked it over. "Hmmm," He started," This looks like a piece of cake!" He threw it to the ground facing his back to the others. "We must get this man!" He spun around and looked at them. "If there are any others after this man, and you find out, you must eradicate them! We cannot have pathetic amateurs ruining our way of life!" He looked out the broken window of the warehouse, and saw the other group of sweepers. He grinned evilly.
She was distracted by a small mouse that was running around her. She snorted as it walked into a hole in the wall. She turned around to see Zonan. She has walked over to him showing Zonan the $1,000 they had collected today. She gave a small chuckle and backed off in one quick pounce. Feralie snorted and walked open to the broken window. She gave a sinister smile as well turning back to Zonan breaking out in a meniacle laughter. "This will be fun! I wonder if I'll get to eat the pretty puppy." Feralie chuckled again shining her machine gun this time. "I loves eating little puppies, they taste yummy." She looked back at Grasha who gave her a disappointed glare. "What? I'm just hungry. I can't help it if I'm thinking of eating puppies." Feralie walked over to the hole in the wall rapidly firing her gun at it. Then she pulled out twelve dead mice. "I got's yummy food."
Zonan watched the dragon pick up the mice and eat them. He was disgusted. "Must you really do that now?!" He yelped, quickly regaining his calmness. He sat back down on a crate and began polishing his sword. He looked at Grasha. "I want you to find out the purpose of those people out there..." He made a head gesture toward the window where they could plainly see the people. He finished polishing his sword and sheithed it. He bid the other ado and slinked into the shadows of the warehouse. He stood by a window to observe what they did.
She gave a disappointed sigh at Feralie who was still looking through the hole that was in the warehouse walls. "I haven't noticed them in town before now, I'd have no idea what their up to, but if you insist I can do the spying." She looked back at her dragon again to see she had disappeared. When she looked behind her she jumped to see that her dragon was right in front of her. "Don't scare me like that, I thought you went out there. You really have to learn how to stay in one place, don't you. Now stay here when I do spy, your too noticeable." She gave a sigh to her dragon who now was chasing a mouse through the warehouse. "She can be impossible sometimes, she never wants to reason or stay in one place. I wonder who those people are, never seen them before..."
Lilya nodded to Grendile, "Yes, he does look like he's not ointerested in tearing off our limbs and eating our internal organs, so i think that's very nice isn;t it?" She sighed and looked at Hokey, who was shuddering in fear, though he held his arms like he was cold.Lilya narrowed her eyes and thought how much they needed a warm and safe shelter and looked up at Grendile, "If we can escape from him, then where could we go? Not much hotels around this city lets in Bounty Hunters... or ghosts." She joked. Hokey looked aroudn the bridge and gulped hard as he saw a crocidile in the river below.
"Not much listening anyone has done. As I've said before, me and Deonday have a complex system in the nearest forest tree canopy. It's easy to get up to, and there is shelter. The best part to me is you don't have to climb, there's a small cliff nearby, there's also a small wooden bridge that let's you onto it. One little downside, the bridges that go across it will tend to shake, and the complex system itself is pretty high up. But still there is a main shelter that's safe, warm, and best of all the roofs not made of wood but some steel we found. And by the way the cliff that leads to it is right there." Grendile pointed to a cliff that had a sighn that said beware of death written in blood words, also there was an ominous looking bridge there. "Ignore the sighn I was the one who put it up there. But I promise you it's safe."
Lilya looked at the bridge and contemplated the explaination of the hideout by Grendile, "I see, it sounds safe, and I'm sure not much could find it... as you have said about it being well hidden, so I'm going to say that Hokey and I will join you in your hideout. I have to leave Jewels to make her own decision.// as you know before she can get... stubborn." Lilya miled and tugged at Hokey's arm and he looked up from gazing att he river and ran to his amster's side, shuddering in fear of being munched on by a reptile.
He gave a small sigh as he begun attempting to lift Deonday. Again he was reduced to dragging. "I wish you would have never gotten this armor, it's lightweight, but your not." Grendile managed to drag Deonday to the first chamber, then went back. "If you decide to come your welcome Jewel. Now Lilya, if you want to cross the wooden bridge you have to be very careful. This bridge will shake a bit if you run." Before Grendile continued he looked one last time at the open water to see crocodiles. "Never seen those before, stupid reptiles, now. One more thing I should tell you, if you are to fall off the bridge a branch is most likely going to catch you, this is a very dense forest, but if your unlucky and there are no branches under you, you'll fall twenty feet to intending doom. So, don't run across the rickedy bridge."
She looked down att he crocodiles in a sarcastic voice, "Oh joy, certain death, how happy anf joyous." She grabbed Hokey and picked him up to make sure he didn't run across the shaky bridge. Lilya shuddered as she stepped on the bridge and it creaked a bit, but she regained her balance and continued to walk across. She froze suddenly at another creak, and she wished to just run across the bridge to get to the other side safely, but she knew that she would be croc food if she tried that so she continued to go slowly, careful about her steps, and soon she joined Grendile on the other side, safely.

Plot

" A sweeper only needs a genuine desire to help..."

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.

A person has gone missing and there is a very large bounty for whoever finds him. The only problem is: it's like he disappeared from the face of the Earth! No one can find him, for he is expert at hiding, and now the two sides of Bounty Hunters feud, which doesn't help find this person any faster. Evil Bounty Hunters will kill anyone that gets in their way, as good bounty hunters only kill to cover their bare necessities.

History
This person that has gone missing has made the Bounty Hunters angry, by stealing many of their bounties and killing many of them. This person also killed many innocent people and robbed them of their money. He is a greedy thief, and we have no idea what he's doing or where he is. And when he disappeared, the Bounty Hunters were trying their best to find him...but he just disappeared suddenly.
