He gave a small smile to see that Lilya and her elf had made it across OK. "So you know I'm pretty sure in this entire tree system, that's the most dangerous part. I have to get around to fixing that soon. Anyway this is the main shelter." Grendile looked back, the main shelter was built around an enormous tree, the shelter itself was huge too. It had polished fine wood for the outer walls, a metal roof, and it was surprisingly warm on the inside. On the walls were was the one bounty hunters poster that was earlier $1,000,000. Grendile put up a new poster he found before going in. "From this morning the bounty on this man was fairly large, take a look at it now." Grendile put up the new bounty that said the man was now worth $100,000,000. "Huge, isn't it? I know I was suprised my self when I saw it, so you know me and Deonday have been searching for him for almost two years now, however I know more information than Deonday does. In fact I think I may have found one of his hideouts, however he's always on the move, I can't ever predict his exact location because how often he relocates."
Lilya's heart skipped a beat from the large bounty on this guy's head, "Wow. Pretty large," she commented in a small voice.  She looked at Grendile who looked proud of himself for knowing something about this guy, "Do you know yet of what he did to get such a large bounty on his head? Because I've only heard rumors about him," she asked him and then she said in her confident independant voice. Hokey explored the small forested area,  jumping att he sight of a rabbit nibbling on clover. He gasped, for he has never seen a rabbit before and went to poke the creature, but it ran off before he could even get close.
He gave a small sigh and began to talk again. "Well he does most of the same things me and Deonday have done, but on a way larger scale. Murder the innocent, steal bounties, kill other bounty hunters, basically things that enrages other bounty hunters. From the sounds of it he must've angered an entire city today. I've seen him once, before I knew there was a bounty for him. When I was alive, before killed by Deonday, I saw him murder an innocent child, kill a bounty hunter, and then rob from them when they were killed. He is very crafty, sly, and cruel. I'm pretty sure he must have robbed from an entire city, a bank maybe, but he must have made some people really angry today." Grendile gave a glance at Deonday who was still uncontious.
Lilya nodded to Grendile and closed her eyes, she flinched as she had a flashback. She saw her 10 year old self being sent to her room, saying "I hate you!" yo her parents. She locked herself in her room and her parents talked to each other. Then she heard someone barge in, she looked outside her door and saw a tall figure holding s bloody knife staring down at the mangled dead bodies of her mother and father, the man left silently and bounty hunters came about 10 minutes afterwords, muttering to each other above the dead bodies. Lilya sneaked out and went to her friend's house to share the news...Lilya came back from the flashback, panting at the grusome scene she saw and looked away from Grendile, holding back tears.
Deonday slowly sat up holding his head in pain. He was relieved to see he was in his own hide out. He used the wall to help himself get to his legs which still hurt. Then he turned to see Lilya. He could sence she was upset, but he stayed silent. He gave a gasp of breath once on his feet. His entire body ached and stung. Managing to stat on his legs he began limping over to a shelf of journals. "So you know we've kept records of everything this man has done. The worst thing I've seen him do is massacre almost everyone in this city. Not where you'd expect a massacre. Anyway, if your wondering, our hideout used to be the man with the huge bounty. He was gone by the time he came here, so we made this our hide out. He was clever, this hideout is above the area where most of the goods come in. He's very intelligent and crafty, but Grendile knows more than I do."
Lilya blinked and looked at Deonday, relieved to see him awake, and then looked at Grendile, "This guy, he hides very well, then how to others expect bounty hunters to ever find him? It's like he just disappeared of the face of the earth! How can anybody even track him down long enough to decide where he is?" She considered this thought deeply. Since he had such a large bounty over his head, the bounty hunters will track him down for a long time, but they might never even get a slight trace of where he is or was.
"You don't have to worry about that now, it's best if we get rest. If you must know though, the key is to figuring out where he is going. Not where he is. If we can figure out where he's going we might just be able to find him." Grendile gave a small yawn of exaustion as he began looking through his maps. "I heard others in the street saying he attacked the city of Mariola, do you know that it's been decades since it was attacked? Inoccent children were killed, by the hundreds apparently. And think of it, that was only in one day, today. Now based on my research he's only attacked areas that least expect an attack. He's terrible, worse than Deonday could ever be for that matter. Now I'm guessing he's going to attack Carnon next, then South Banks Megalopolis. Our best chances are heading for South Banks Megalopolis, he moves quick. We know a hide out he has in that city that's in an abandon orphanage. But that can wait till tomorrow, for now we need rest."
Lilya nodded and looked outside the hideput to see Hokey scrambling away from a rabbit, Lilya sighed and shook her head, amused. "Hokey-come in." She called the elf. Hokey looked overjoyed to be away from that flesh eating rabbit and scrambed inside. "You must have fought of that vile pest Hokey?" Lilya joked, Hokey nodded, "It almost ate me, it was horrible master! YOu should've saw me battle it! It was the bloodiest bayttle you have ever seen-except only that pest was injured." Lilya rolled her eyes, "Well Hokey, we reward you for your bravery with our deepest gratitude."
Deonday rolled his eyes, he knew it was only a harmless rabbit, but he decided to play along with what Lilya was saying. "Have you ever seen a rabbit before? Most are very harmless, but there are some rabbits that can be dangerous. So you know they only eat plants, but some will bite. Be careful not to scare them, they scare very easy." Deonday gave a small smile trying to show some form of gratitude. He looked at the night sky sitting silently on the edge of the rickedy bridge. Giving a sigh he looked at the ground to see the same rabbit Hokey did. It was pretty harmless, he gave a small smile as it hopped around below him. He walked back into the shelter with a happy look on his face. "I'm pretty sure it is gone now, I don't think that rabbit wants to mess with you again."
Hokey nodded and stood up straighter, "Yes, Hokey did give that rabbit a scare! Ooh yes, it will remember Hokey the next time it sees him! The rabbit will run in fear looking for his mother!" Hokey looked so proud of himself to actually get good comments from Deonday. Lilya smiled and rolled her eyes at her elf and smiled, "Yes Hokey, if you killed it we could've had smoked rabbit tonight." Hokey nodded, "But tha rabbit had managed to escape Hokey, which will not go on forever!" Lilya sighed, amused by her elf. While Hokey caused his big scene on the 'Battle Againat the Rabbit' Lilya sneaked out to sit down and look at the stars.
He gave sigh as he began climbing quickly down a tree. Looking around he had found a rabbit, not the one Homey found, he made sure of it. Once the rabbit was dead he continued looking around. He leaned over to pet the rabbit Hokey found. "Not so vicious, are you? Your a good little rabbit." The rabbit bit down on Deonday's hand out of fear. "Ow, hey that's not nice, now is it?" The rabbit backed off giving an odd humming sound. "What the? What in the world are you doing you little thing?" The rabbit continues giving a strange humming sound. Once the moon was uncovered by the clouds the rabbit turned into a were rabbit and gave a load roar. "Bad bad rabbit, back, back." Deonday climbed up the tree as fast as he could breathing heavy. "Well I managed to kill one rabbit, but the one Hokey scared bit me and turned into a were rabbit. It scared me and I ran up here. From now on I think I'm going to stay away from rabbits." He looked back at his bite, he quickly cleaned it so he wouldn't be infected. Then he looked at the rabbit he did kill.
Lilya looked down and saw the rabbit that Hokey 'battled' was scarcthing at the hideout, it grew larger all of a sudden and itd teeth were bigger as well. "What the-" Lilya whispered as she narrowed her eyes to look at it better, she leaned forward and stared att he rabbit as it big, scratched, and clawed at the hideout, it snarled and tried to climg the tree, but it failed and hit the ground again. It shook it's body and  and lied on the ground, breathing heavily as it were trying to sleep. Lilya leaned forward a bit to see what was different about the rabbit, and then she slipped. She fell off the hideut and then landed with a heavy thud  on the ground. Hokey twitched his ears as he heard the thud.
He watched in horror as Lilya fell to the ground. "Lilya!" Deonday quickly climbed down from the tree carefully and walked over to Lilya. "Y-You OK? Come on, get up!" Deonday was worried that the worst happened. Carefully he had carried her up to the tree into the main shelter. "Hokey, Grendile, she fell off the bridge and fell onto the ground. I'm worried she's dead." Deonday carefully rested her onto the floor of the main shelter hoping they would notice. "Come on get up..." Deonday waited for Hokey or Grendile to come over. Deonday had no idea how to know if she was alive or not, he only knew how to kill others, not help. As he sat there he waited desperately for a response or help.
Hokey ran to his master and blinked, "No-master!" He  brushed away some of her hair to show a large red area, Hokey flinched at the sight of blood, but he lived with it. He looked away to look at Grendile, Hokey wasn't really sure on haling spells, he almost never practied healing magic, only offense and cleaning magic. He looked back at his master who layed limp on the ground. "Hokey can't do much," He said in a shakey voice to Deonday, "All Hokey can do is clean master's wound, Hokey doesn't know healing magic." Hokey moved his hands in a circle and cleaned Lilya's wound silently.
Grendile heard what was going on so he disappeared and rematerialized next to Hokey. "Didn't I tell you to be careful?!" Grendile sighed and begun a minor healing spell. The most the spell could do was regain her contiousness, the last was heal her wounds. Once he cast the spell he stared at the ware rabbit who now woke up. "Get out of here! Can't you see you've caused us enough trouble?!" He watched as the creature fearfully left pouncing away. "Annoying little beast!" Grendile was furious right now, he hated when his friends were injured. He turned around to Lilya. "I can't be positive that the spell will work. All we can do is hope for the best." Grendile eventually calmed down to see if Lilay was alright.
