He quickly reacted by running to Deonday. Grendile began dragging him, eventually stopping, Deonday was way too heavy for him. One downside came into mind, unlike most ghosts, he couldn't make things float, only himself and only six inches above ground. He at least had dragged his master a bit further away from Lizard man creature. It still didn't help though. Grendile preformed a quick and easy healing spell on his neck, Grendile was happy that Deonday had woken up. He began helping Deonday get up, he turned to see Jewel was free from the phyco's grip. "So where are we going for now? If you don't know anywhere we have a tree system in the forest. It's fairly easy to get up to, if you know where the secret entry way is." Grendile made sure he was whispering so the lizard man thing would not hear.
Jewels looked above the lizard man. There was a large shelf with crates piled on top of it. "Everybody! Get out of the way!" She shouted, and whipped out her gun and aimed for the supports of the shelf. She shot the supports, and the crates tumbled down on top of the creature. It didn't kill it of corse, but just held it back long enough for them to get away. When the crates fell upon the creature, Jewels ran out of the alleyway to join the others. Hina followed close behind, for he could heal fast because he's a shap-shifter. When they all met up, it was still pitch black outside, and only the street lamps where on. They stopped running when they got to a long bridge, where they could easily see the ocean, and the full moon sparkling off the dark waves.
Lilya panted, holding the yet=again-weak Hokey. "What do we do now?" She asked Jewels, looking behind her every few min utes to check that the lizard man wasn't comign after them. "What if that lizard guy cvomes after us again? Hokey is too weak to preform any magic...and sadly, I'm out of bullets." Lilya said embarressingly, she hated being out of bullets for her gun, it made her sound and feel very weak. She sighed and ran her hand through her hair in a dsitracting to the lizard guy fight they had. Hokey blinked awake and jumped from Lilya's arms to the ground, looking drowsy again.
He gave a sigh of relief when he was away from the lizard like being. But now he could feel pain in his neck. The healing spell Grendile used only closed up his wound, it did not heal it completely, and did not remove pain. He was very glad that these people had helped him. He gave a small grateful smile. "Everyone seems OK. That's good, I think." He looked out at the ocean, the sight was beautiful and refreshening to him. Better than what he had just experienced. Then he looked at the bridge. It seemed to be made of stone, it looked very stable for that matter. "So where are we going next, because I have absolutely no clue." Deonday gave a tiring yawn, then turned to see if the entire group was for a fact OK. No one had looked badly injured, which gave him great relief. He heard they had no clue either which again began stressing him. "Me and Grendile have a hidout complex in a nearby forest. Its fairly easy to get in, but only me and Grendile no the enterance to it. It would be best if we spent the rest of the night there. It's about impossible for someone else to find."
Grunting, Insanek pulled the boxes off of himself.  Stupid, diminuative. elf.  He had been close, too.  Insanek cackled, and proceded to try and hunt them down.  To say the least, he wasn't going to give up easily, and for one reason: In the wild, when you run into a non-sane demented Iziek, (or, in laymans terms, crazy lizard man) they slowly aproach you, twitching and laughing, and they speed up, and they are very hard to kill.  No matter how hard you hit them, they don't run away, and thwy slowly close in and pin you, then proceding to tear the organs out of your live body.  that kind of determination carries on into the somwhat sane ones.  Insanek, seeing one of their group in the distance, followed them, clutching his shoulder with one claw.
He was now tired, injured, and bored. There was no reply yet from any of them yet and he was growing impatient. There was a lot on his mind right now, he wondered if his ghost was truly ok, who the man on the poster was, and more importantly if the crazy lizard man was fallowing them. Grendile seemed to know every single bounty up right now, and almost everyone on the posters. His ghost even knew the lizard mans name, although he couldn't remember. He decided to stand a little bit further away from the group so he had silence to think to himself. He was still in sight of course. As he stood there a shiver traveled down his spine as a result to a very familiar cackle. Then he felt a claw touch his shoulder. He knew who exactly this was. "Get away from me." Deonday now attempted to free his shoulder.
Insanek cackled once more, albiet more quietly than before.  "You should never wander from the pack like that.  Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you now."  Insanek then held his knife to the weak spot in Deonday's armor, quietly chuckling.  "You know," he quietly told Deonday "I'll be hard to perswade.  Both my stomach and my wallet are nearly empty." and Insanek cackled, while taking out his sack of Karchen powder.  "You know what this thing does?  It sucks the moisture out of anything that touches it.  Better hope ethereal forms have no H2O, 'cause that ghosty is your only chance." he quietly cakcled once more.
He didn't have enough energy to yell or struggle for long. He stared at the sack of Karchen powder. He was frightened of the fact that it drained all the moisture from anything it touched. For a fact the human body was mostly made up of water. Which would mean if he touched the powder he'd be dead. He was helpless against the knife. He gave a sigh of disappointment, if he did live, he'd give whoever was responsible for making his armor a piece of his mind. The only weak point on his armor was his neck plates. Why couldn't it be his arms or legs? He was a bit ticked off by his armor now. "G-Grendile. Great, he can't hear me, I'm in sight range, why can't they just look in this direction?" Deonday began struggling a bit more trying to get Insanek to let go. "Let go of me now."
Insanek cackled once more, and said "You know, you should be on your guard a bit more.  Your not hard to catch.  Tell you what, I'll make you a deal.  Back there when I was creeping thorugh the shadows, quietly chuckling, I heard you and you acquantances talking about something rather...  Interesting, to say the least.  If you tell me a bit more, as reptiles don't have the best of hearing, I just might let you live." Insanek gave a trademark cackle, and prodded Deonday in the neck with his one of a kind knife, though not hard enough to peirce flesh.
Even though the knife wasn't doing any real damage, it still hurt just as bad. He understood who he wanted to know more about. He gave a sigh as he pulled something out of his pocket. The knife was far away enough that he could turn around out of Insanek's grasp. He didn't want to be attacked again so he showed him a poster. "If it's information your interested in I can help you with that." To Deonday this was a pretty fair 'deal'. He remembered Insanek said he might let him live. He figured it was worth a shot. "This man has a $1,000,000 bounty on him. He's been missing for a long time and has done far worse crimes them I have. Now will you please for all that is right, get that knife of your away from my neck!" Even though he could yell, but his shouts were very scratchy do to his soar throat.
"It was indeed iformation I was looking for." Insanek cackled. and removed hte knife.  "You really are the one to be using the phrase "All that is right", aren't you?" Insanek cackled, twitched a few times, and asked him "Do you have any further information?  If not, I just might have to give you a twenty four hour  lead and hunt you down again." Insanek cackled, and sheathed his knife, simutaneously putting the bag of Krching powder away, as they were in different hands.  Insanek looked to his left, and said "It appears your aquantainces heard your pathetic shout."  and cackled once gain, twitching as he did so.
He searched through whatever he could remember in such a short time. He and Grendile had actually been searching for this one guy for a long time, almost two years now. Their searches were unsuccessful, but they did find some clues of where he might be hiding. "Fine I'll tell you more." He nervously pulled a piece of paper out. "Me and my ghost have been looking for him for about two years. From what we could tell he's either in Capricorn, Kolnco, or South Banks Megalopolis. He's most likely in South Banks Megalopolis though, for a fact I grew up there. It's where most of the highest bounties are. That's all I can remember from our observations." He began panting heavily, after fighting, being injured, and yelled at, he had grown exhausted and tired.
Jewels looked at her reflection in the black, moonlit water. She was scratched, dirty, and bruised. She was tired, and could barely keep herself up. She leaned over the stone railing of the bridge. She heard a faint yelp, and looked over her shoulder. Nothing. She looked around the group. Everyone was here except for Deonday. She was too tired to fight anymore. However, the creature didn't know that she had the strange device in her pocket, that would give the exact location of the man in hiding. Though, she didn't know either. She walked over to a park bench that was right under a street lamp. She sat down, and her eyes began to slip shut, though she didn't want to fall asleep. Right before she slipped into a deep sleep, she could see the lizard creature, and Deonday discussing something ahead.
He had already backed off until he ran into a wall, his mind rapidly searched for any information he knew. He could feel his arms trembling greatly, his breathing became heavier and heavier. Deonday was terrified of Insanek by now. He hated to feel helpless, he hated defeat most of all. He was too tired to argue or fight right now though, even though his mind still franticly searched for anything that might give him more time. "My ghost said he had ran into what he called metal men. He has a feeling that they were after the nan too. There are probably already many people trying to hunt him down, that's as much as I can tell you." Deonday saw his group, for once in his life he felt guilt. But he was evil, why should he care? Deonday was evil, but he still knew wrong from right, even if he usually did the wrong thing.
Insanek cackled again.  "Don't worry, I'm not going to kill.  A deals a deal, and I'm not scum like you."  Insanek nervously twitched, and then mumbled quetly, "But why not kill him?  He does have what smells to be a healthy liver..." Insanek cackled again, and twitched a few times, before continuing with "Say, would your ghost know a bit more, or does he tell you everything?  And also, if I asked, would he cut off my head and be done with it?" Insanek cackled, and started Deonday, twitching and quietly chuckling to himself, waiting for the answer form the obviously terrified man.

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.
