Mai saw Rowen run off. She sighed and said "The skin on her leg should not have been that loose..." Deidara said "Fix my hand un..." Mai took one look at the hand and said "It'll heal on it's own you big baby." Mai picked up the cast and started cleaning up after Rowan. She'd screwed that up... She should have treated Rowan outside and just left the leg alone. Then Kin came in and Mai said "You need that medicine don't you? I should have given it to you right away." Mai went into a compartment in her medication drawers and gave her sister a pill. "You know how to take it." Itachi came in and asked "What did you just give her?" Kin answered for her sister. "Something for dreamless sleep." "Back to bed then." Itachi took Kin back to their home and gave Kin a glass of water before sending her back to bed.

ROwan scrambled up the tree, panting. She tried to spread her wing out... something was VERY wrong. It felt off... There was a plausible reason why, but she had not seen what that medic had done, so she could not be sure.

She licked her leg a couple of times. The break was not bad, it would heal quickly and then be fine. She took her human form. Even in this form, she could still feel where her wings and tail would be... and the "Phantom wing" felt so... so wrong. That was going to be a problem. In the meantime, it was time to go back.

Mai pulled out the book and tried to figure out what she'd done wrong. She had crouched... Mai smacked herself. She had to apologize to Rowen. Mai ran out in the rain and found Rowen. "I'm sorry I scared you... I shouldn't have crouched... I was trying to appear nonthreatening." Mai looked down and said "You shouldn't have changed back... Your wing was shattered I had to use my bloodline but I couldn't fully heal it." Mai turned to go back she was soaking wet and bare footed. Mai made it back to the med ward and put on dry clothes. Deidara was back. "Stubbed my toe un..." "Are you trying to get my attention or something?" She looked at his foot and huffed "You're fine. I'm going to bed so leave me alone." Mai went to bed.

What was that?Yori felt something poke one of his cheeks.He lazily raised his hand and swatted it away before resuming his peaceful slumber with a soft sigh.Ah no, now his other cheek got poked repeatedly.The sleeping boy made a noise of discomfort and swatted the annoying object away a second time.Could he perhaps sleep without any disturbances now?That would be great.Thank you very much!

''Blimmin' heck....'With a face like thundercloud, Yori sat up.He was obviously NOT a morning person, especially not when he someone else woke him up.

The man in front of him gasped and pointed and him, shocked.''Oh, that wasn't nice!Tobi says that swearing is a no-no!You should read the rules.''He said wiggling his finger in front of Yori's face, who in return replied.''I wasn't swearing...and who are you?''

''Tobi is Tobi!''

It was God knows how early and that guy...Tobi was already full of life?Yori could already tell that something wasn't right in that guys head.''Sorry that I am so cranky Tobi, I just don't like mornings.''

Rowan scurried back to the base, wet and a bit shaken. She toyed with the idea of going bact to the house with sasori... but she found that she just did not feel up to it. That did mean that she was going to have to stay in here, possibly with that medic still here.

Well, there was really no other option. Her wing was begining to get painful.

She found a linen closet that seemed to be disused. The shelves were high, and the closet was small and messy. Half of the contents were on the floor... perfect to make a little nest in. 

In her dragon form, she curled up, and went to sleep, hoping that nobody would notice the door cracked open.

Especially not that medic.

Mai did in fact notice the dragon in the linin closet while she was tidying up. But she just left a note explaining that there would be some pain in her wing and it was nothing to worry about. She left it in plain sight and also added that Rowen should eat some bone meal or even small animals bones and all to speed up recovery and make sure it healed properly, the note also said that if Rowen wanted ANYTHING all she had to do was ask. Mai did however have to get close to pick up the bed sheets on the floor but she did it as quietly as possible. Then she did laundry and left the sheets on an indoor clothes line to dry. Kin came back to the med ward and thanked her sister again for the medication. She also brought her sister breakfast. Greek yogurt with some honey and fresh fruit her favorite breakfast. The doctor moaned softly at the rich yougurt and honey and sweet fruits. Kin noticed her sister had in fact somehow gotten a kitchen put in her room which also had a bathroom connected to it. Kin saw her sister was set with everything she needed and Leader walked in looking for Rowen. Mai said "She has a shattered wing on the mend and a fractured leg. I don't know what happened but she's hiding in here somewhere if the tracks in the mud are anything to go by outside." "So she's out of commision." "I'd strongly advise against any missions of any kind until her wing heals at least." "Alright... Sasori was just concerned when she didn't go back last night." "I'd imagine she's sleeping right now so just leave her alone." 

After having a stare down with the masked man, which lasted for about 3 minutes Yori ran a hand through his hair and asked if there was a mirror and sink somewhere that he could use.Tobi had eagerly pointed to the end of the hallway and the boy had thanked him and headed off.

Oh my, it looked like he had been hit by a truck.Yori combed his hair and brushed his teeth, tidying himself up a bit before he would talk to that strange man again.He came back searching for Tobi and found him in exact the same spot as when he had left.''Tobi had been waiting for you!'' The latter appeared to be breathing heavily and Yori took a step back.

''...Oh, alright. Umh, Tobi-san do you know the name of that orange-haired man with those ..eh... rather unique eyes?''

''You mean leader-sama?''

The brunette nodded.''Yes, I think so? Could you please tell me his name?''Tobi tilted his head.''Under one condition.....Tell Tobi your name.''He beamed.

That's right he still hadn't told the man his name.''I am so sorry, I had forgotten! My name is Nakashima Yori, it's a pleasure to meet you Tobi-san.''

Kin was cleaning out the refridgerator and making sure the kitchen was spotless. Itachi was watching her closely particularly when Kin bent over but she didn't notice this. She was focused on this one stubborn spot on one of the shelves in the fridge. She'd been scrubbing the spot for a full minute... "Got it!" The inside of the fridge was spotless. Kin made sure everything she was putting back in was clean. Next up the pantry. She didn't want vermin messes and spilled food attracted vermin which brought the snakes she so despised. To this end Kin was a neat freak. She started cleaning the pantry, then when she was done with that she went through the rest of the kitchen. When she was done Itachi asked "Why did you spend three hours scrubbing an already clean kitchen?" "I don't want vermin. They'll attract snakes and I'm scared of snakes." "Alright then that makes sense I suppose." Kin washed her hands and rubbed her neck. Itachi took the initive to rub Kin's neck. Kin moaned and said "Oohh you're good at this... Thanks." He just grabbed an apple and walked off. Kin wondered what her sister was up to but she was a little tired so she didn't go for the walk across the compound... More like a small village really...

Rowan was having a weird dream about being trapped in a giant ice cube...

Then she woke up. She groaned and pressed her head into the wall. Her wing hurt... So much...

She realized that she was cold. Well, that would explain the weird dream... Someone had put away the sheets that she was sleeping in. 
Jeez, if she got sick now...

SHe tried to streach out her wing... the break had healed over. Why did it hurt? This was not a normal broken bone type of pain it was... different. More of.. well, burning agony.

SHe sighed and read the note. All that did was further anger her...

Well, it was time to get up anyway. 

Mai was sitting by the door reading that book... She put the book down and found Rowen. "Your wing has a burning pain right now right?" Mai pulled some dried herbs out. "Make some tea with these and it will make that stop... I read the file Leader gave me the person who abused you... was a medic nin not a doctor. I have no combat training or experience. I can't hurt you like he did. I don't have the skills or the stomach for tourture... Well I might have it in me to tourture people who hurt my sister..." She continued "You seemed comfortable up there before you kicked those sheets out from under you. I'll have it better prepared for you should you ever need to stay here again. I am not a medic nin I have no knowledge of torture. I can't emphisize enough that I'm NOT going to hurt you. By hurt I mean inflict damage. If I have to do something like push a broken bone back in place it may hurt." Mai bowed her head and said "I'm not keeping you here right now. Go home and get some rest. Take the tea if you want it. If not just get some rest and keep warm."

Rowan hissed and swiped at Mai with a clawed hand. It narrowly missed her, and she would scratch the stupid medic's FACE OFF if she did not leave her alone. 

SHe staled out of the house, trying and failing to ignore the pain. SOmething was wrong. Very wrong. This was never supossed to happen, not ever. What had the medic done? Tried to fix her wing, Rowan knew that. But whatever she had done seemed to have  done more harm than good. Had it been left alone, it would be healed by now. As it was, it was healing slower... and it hurt.

Mai saw something sticking out of Rowen and darted in pulling out a senbon needle right where Rowen's wing would be. Then she slapped herself swearing "How did I miss the senbon..." She examined it. "Rowen wait there's some kind of poison in this thing... I've never seen a senbon like this..." The senbon was snatched by Leader who said "This is one of those senbon meant to deliver poison... Rowen back to the med ward. We need to analize this..." Leader got Sasori and said "Identify this poison and get Rowen the antidote. Now." Sasori didn't say a word he just went back to his cabin. Mai said "Your dragon form has a higher metabolism. Stay in human form... We need to delay the effects of whatever this substance is as long as possible." Mai also stated that Rowen should be kept in a place where she could stay completely calm and slow her heart rate as much as possible. "Rowen you heard the doctor. Go somewhere you feel safe and stay completely calm. That's an order." Mai went back inside there was nothing more she could do for the time being.

Rowan lattened her ears in pure rage. W...What? Poisoned senbon? She growled and stalked off. It later turned out to be a false alarm, she had somehow rolled over it in the cabin with sasori. It had been coatedin a protoype, there had been several senbon just like it in a little cup. It had gotten knocked over, and when picking them up sasori had missed that one. Rowan had rolled overit, and due to a numbing agent, not noticed it. the poison was harmless, the burning sensation only there to test if the numbing agent worked. Well,it did.

The burning subsider some, leaving a weird, not there achy feeling. Sasori said that, no, that was not part of the poison, and theorised that it was a result of the senbon itself making her sore.

Mai left Rowen alone after that. In fact she actively avoided Rowen. She saw Rowen one time however and couldn't help herself so she said "I won't bother you unless you are injured or want to talk to me about something. But I will sleep better if you have the reproductive health talk with somebody... Well I have to be going now." Mai walked off and went to see her sister who was scrubbing the bathroom. "Sis why are you so obsessed with clenliness?" "Because Mai filth invites vermin which you as a doctor should know invites disease." "And snakes... Kin are you really that scared of snakes?" Kin shuddered and said "Yes I am..." Itachi said "At this rate the chemical fumes are going to make Kin insane. Are you sure she's not germaphobic?" "I know my sister. She's got a phobia but it isn't germs it's snakes."

''His name is Pain?''Yori asked with a slightly weirded out look on his face.''No no no, Pein! With an E!''''Ah, I get it! Thank you Tobi-san.''No...Tobi-sempai!''

After that the boy gathered his belongings,checked on his kodachi and headed off to to find the leader of the Akatsuki, Pein, and demand some explaination.He rubbed the back of his head and looked around.

He just came out of the main building.Pein-sama was not there.Check!

The medical ward?Probably not.Check!

he couldn't just walk in like he owned the place.So Yori resolved to simply knocking on every door and asking every living human soul he met.

The Akatsuki live and spend their free time here at the compound around here they can relax and focus on things like hobbies. (they can and will be ooc around here) It's in the middle of nowhere but has all the amenities.

These are the people who work behind the scenes both on and off the base at the Akatsuki. From assistants to stand in partners we have them all here.

For our puropses these are the current members: Leader, Kohan, Itachi, Kisame, Tobi, Deidara, Sasori, Zetsu, Hidan, Kakuzu

Auxiliary members stay with one of the main members.

You live and work for the Akatsuki here, each member has their own house and staff here.

How you got here varies, some of you could have been slaves both captured by the Akatsuki or rescued from an abusive master to work here.

The Akatsuki could have seen your power but since the main spots are full up you are a back up who also guards the compound. When a member is sick and has a mission you could be their stand in.

You could even be hired to work here. It's up to you.

You must have knowledge of the Akatsuki to rp here
