Rowan blinked at the dude, turned abrubtly, and with a particularly loud snarl, she snpped her tail on the ground and jumped, flapping down hard. It sent her a goos seven eet in the air, pleant high enough to gain more height and speed from there. She flew away quickly.

Really, because she was not sure how to react to that. Upon rethinking the whole thing, it was more leader's fault than that guys, and also her fault for overreacting a tiny bit.

Her ego would not allow her to consider that she had overreacted MORE than a little bit, but, well, oh well.

(This post is crap and I'm sorry.)

The rain came and Mai had to run back to the medical building passing the dragon right as the rain started hitting her. "Rown Land! I don't want to see you get struck by lightning!" She darted in the building and made to dry off. Mai stuck her head out the door and yelled "Not to be bossy!" Then she stuck her head inside and dried off. She changed into her night gown and slippers undoing her bun. When her hair bounced down Mai pulled out a DVD and her laptop. She settled down on her bed to watch her movie. Mermaids the Body Found...

Meanwhile with Kin and Itachi... Kin was cuddling Itachi and snoring softly. Itachi was staring down at her. Then he started stroking her hair softly. Normally he slept nude but tonight he was wearing pants for her. Kin had no idea that he was making any change in his behavior besides having her in his bed in the first place. Kin started mumbling in her sleep and getting restless. Itachi stopped stroking her hair and it got worse. Itachi started rubbing her back and she calmed down mumbling one clear word "Itachi..." He just stared at her. He wasn't getting any sleep he was confused. Why was Kin dreaming about him?

Rowan snorted and ignored Mai. Get struck by lightning... No, no, she was going to IGNORE the rational point... her ego had suffered already. No use driving it deeper in the hole. None at all. 

While lightning was a problem, rain was not. She liked rain, it was wet, and good, and it combined her two faveorite things: Water, and the sky. Fun to fly in, but only if you know what you're doing, which she did. And if you have scales instead of feathers, which she did.

SO she was up there in the sky, having the time of her life... not noticing the impending danger.

... Because Mai was right. There WAS lightning. And it was lucky she was fast. Well, more like she was llucky she was lucky.

Because a bolt of lightning shot down like a bat out of heck... missing her by a couple of inches. WHile the bolt itself had done no damage, it had startled rowan... and then she had crashed. Hard. On her lead wing.

"Ack..." She tried to pick herself up out of the mud... Dang it. There was something wrong with her wing... and her leg.

Crap. She had to get.. somewhere else. Away from people.

BUt how? She was, at the moment, immoble.

*inside Kin's dream*

Kin was staring down her bad ex boyfriend Remi. She was alone and unarmed. He had a whip. Remi was a brown haired man with cold grey eyes... From the beginning those eyes should have given him away. Remi cracked that whip saying "Cherie... Why did you leave me?" Kin winced at the whip crack. He'd used it on her in the past. She was scared but she knew it was just a dream. It was a black void and she was scantily clad... Just like Remi used to make her dress. There was a reason she dressed conservatively. A warmth fell on her back and a light started to shine. She looked away from Remi and saw Itachi standing there with his sword in hand. He cut the whip apart and killed Remi. Then he threw his blade to the ground and kissed her on the head putting a robe on her.

*outside the dream*

Kin said Itachi's name again and Itachi stared at her wondering why she was saying his name... And how often she had nightmares.

Mai heard the thud and went outside in the rain with an umbrella. She saw Rowen down and said "I told you so." Then with surprising stregnth she carried the dragon to the med ward and stretched the wing out. It was shattered and the leg was fractured. Mai used the healer's touch on the wing and put a cast on the leg before putting the dragon on a soft bed with a heating pad. "I'll get someone to move you back home. I don't know where it is. Just stay right here and stay warm. Mai put her robe on and ran off to find someone. She ran into Kisame and explained the situation. The massive man came in the med ward and approached Rowan. He looked like he was about to speak...

After that...rather weird and awkward encounter with Rowan, Yori had wanted to search for the creepy guy but it had started to rain.So he called it a day and set up 'camp' in the main building.He rumaged through his suitcase, found some dry crackers and a bottle of water and borrowed a blanket from some random closet.''Man,I feel like a squatter...''The boy thought bitter.He was not the one who complained a lot, but this was just plain stupid!

'Tomorrow, when I see that guy, I will find him...and demand some information!''Yes, that was the plan.''..And a proper place to sleep!''Satisfied, he made himself comfortable and closed his eyes, listening to the weather outside.

''And his name.....''

Guys if I accidentally godmode pm me and I'll delete the post. If my characters turn into Mary Sues let me know and I'll fix it OK? I had this problem on Furcadia once before. I can't believe it's showed back up...

Kisame chuckled. "Really, Ro?"

"Y-You shut up. Crazy medic..."

In Kisame's opinion, Mai had overreacted to Rowan falling. The smallest member of the akatsuki got some sort of injury at least every other day, and while the sentiment itself was nice (Although it was clear Rowan thought otherwise,) It had been unneccesary. 

As it was, Rowan was struggling togetof the bed, and Kisame realized that there could soon be a problem. The cast held her leg stiff, and that kind of restraint often made Rowan... weird. Sasori had used some acronym to describe it, but all Kisame knew was that it onvolved flashbacks.

Restraint tended to trigger them, and if that happened... There would be a problem.

Rowan was really on the verge of a break down. Her wing felt VERY off after whatever Mai had done to it, and the cast on her front leg was casuing problems. She was  fighting to stay calm.

KIsame eventually left. By that time, Rowan had managed to get off the bed. Because of the way the cast had been put on, it also medded with her talons, and she kept slipping. It was positioned so that she could not get her leg off the ground either, and too stiff to bend. THat left her with only two potions; Dargging her leg (Undignified) Or staying put. (NOT an option.)

*inside Kin's dream*

Itachi had just kissed Kin on the head and taken her in his arms when someone came up behind him with a sword decapitating Itachi. She tried to warn him but it was too late. The person was his younger brother with eyes just as cold as Remi's as he said "You belong to me now." Kin was on her knees sobbing when she heard a whip crack. The younger brother had another whip and had cracked it. "On your feet girl!" Kin complied in the dream. Tears were streaming down her face and just as the younger brother touched her she was jolted awake.

*Back in the world of the awake*

Itachi had woken Kin up because she had been moaning and shaking in her sleep. "Kin wake up it's just a dream." Kin put her hand on her forehead just as more thunder boomed. "That wasn't my usual thunder storm nightmare. Usually it's just my ex boyfriend Remi... This time you came to my rescue only to get killed by your brother who was just as bad as Remi... Those cold eyes scared me. What was your brother's name?" "Sauske. How do you know what he looks like?" "I've been cleaning this place for six months... I came across a few pictures. The most recent ones have cold eyes. Why the heck are you taking pictures of him?" "Don't tell anyone but I spared him because I care and the photos help me keep up with him in a way. I won't leave them out again if it bothers you." "It's just those ice cold hateful eyes. I don't see the hatred when I look at you. I actually see kindness under a cold mask." He hugged her and said "So I don't have to hide it around you. Why do thunder storms bring on nightmares?" "Because Remi loved thunder storms and used to do some things I didn't like in bed. It was painful and not fun. He was a bad person. Controlling and he put a tracking chip in my arm that I had removed." "I won't do that to you just go back to sleep." Kin turned over and complied.

Mai saw Rowen struggling and offered to put a splint instead of a cast on if she'd allow that. "I could put that in a splint instead of you promise to stay off it. Your wing feels funny because for the time being the bone is just put back in place and partially healed. I wanted to put a splint on it but I'd have to stitch it into the wing membrane. I'd rather you stay put. I'll put you in my room if it helps. It's up to you. But I also will insist on some suppliments and or special foods to make sure the bones heal strong." Mai was doing everything she could to accomidate the dragon. She said "I am giving you as many options as I can here." She had crouched down to the dragon's level to seem less threatening. 

Rowan snarled at Mai, and then recoileed when Mai crouched down.

Like any draconian, Rowan had dragon instinct hardwired into her brain. Deagons crouched before attacking. Mai was crouching, ROwan was injured, instimct did the rest. 

Back pressed to the wall, snarling as terribly as she could, scales along the neck sticking up, and gerwings raised slightly o her body. Eyes wider than usual, and claws spread out. Her tail was between her legs. A defensive position, one that was commonly associated with fear, or being backed to a wall. 

And as far as the wild half of Rowan was concerned, she was.

Mai realized what she had done and went to her knees. She said "I'm not going to hurt you." She held her hands out in a nonthreatening manner and wiggled back a bit. Mai was starting to get a little nervous. She recognized it as a PTSD reaction and pleaded "Rowan listen to me... It's alright just calm down. It's a flashback it's not real." Her sister was so much better at this. Deidara came in and Mai said "Leave." Deidara said "I burned my hand un..." "Go to the exam room and wait then." "Somebody has to pull her off you when she attacks yeah." "I'm trying to calm her down give her some space." Mai's attitude was nonthreatening but her voice had a tone of authority. This was a hospital her territory. Here even the leader of the Akatsuki had to obey her. Mai didn't make direct eye contact. She was trying to calm the dragon down.

(Weird and stupid post ahead!)

Yori was a boat sailing the fiercy sea, laughing madly while stroke his long black beard.The parrot on his shoulder was singing cheery songs and his invisble crew was working hard.The boy adjusted his eyepatch and saw a big grey smoke cloud coming from a nearby island.''Hmmm.''Deep in thoughts he twirled the tip of his beard between his finger before loudly yelling.''Arrrgh,my lads!Set sail towards that tiny dot in the distance.''His normally rather soft voice was now low and manly.There was an awkward silence and Yori gestured at the island with his hook.''I mean that island.''

And his invisible crew went all''Ooooh!''

 His 6 feet tall figure stood tall and proud, puffing his chest up with a hand lying on his trusty sword which was strapped to his waist.His eyes widened,he saw people around a big fire, a bonfire.They were waving and calling to him.''These..umh....how do you call that in Pirate...ah,never mind! Let's just help those strangers!''

The huge ship sailed toward the island as far as possible and Yori neared the island, he himself in a longboat.He ran up towards the people.''Fear not dear strangers, We've come to help you!''The words were barely out of his mouth before then he noticed that he knew those people.The orange-haired man, two blonde girls...and a dragon.

Instead of thanking him,they ran past the boy with the beard and towards his boat.''Oh..well,it seems that you are very glad to be saved....really,I do not need any thanks.''

Ah, they were already on his ship.Yori smirked when he saw his ship getting smaller and smaller.Eheheh, such an impatience they did not even wait...for...him....oops!

Yori sat up with a start, screaming ''Don't steal my boat!!!''Oh, it was but a dream.he sighed with relieve, rubbing his smooth and hairless chin.That had definitely been the strangest dream ever.''Well, at least I was tall.''

SHe had mamaged to maintain rational through. Only a little, but still, some. Enough to realize that Mai had not counted on the skin around her leg being loose. Too loose. She could twist her leg... and loosen the cast. Caareully... Don't let her see... And as soon as it was loose enough, she slipped out of it and jumped over Mai in one fluid (And painfull,) motion. SHe them quickly scrambled out the door, down the hallway, out the window. The rain had since stopped. She limped out to the woods, a safer place for her, althugh a poor substitute for a cliff or cave.

The Akatsuki live and spend their free time here at the compound around here they can relax and focus on things like hobbies. (they can and will be ooc around here) It's in the middle of nowhere but has all the amenities.

These are the people who work behind the scenes both on and off the base at the Akatsuki. From assistants to stand in partners we have them all here.

For our puropses these are the current members: Leader, Kohan, Itachi, Kisame, Tobi, Deidara, Sasori, Zetsu, Hidan, Kakuzu

Auxiliary members stay with one of the main members.

You live and work for the Akatsuki here, each member has their own house and staff here.

How you got here varies, some of you could have been slaves both captured by the Akatsuki or rescued from an abusive master to work here.

The Akatsuki could have seen your power but since the main spots are full up you are a back up who also guards the compound. When a member is sick and has a mission you could be their stand in.

You could even be hired to work here. It's up to you.
