Deidara found an elf sculpting and was amazed. Linnea was good at farths herself. Sakura found a tree and started texting her friends back home. That Gara kid from years ago was walking with a little sand colored dragon following him. Another rider an elf named Kilf said "Gara we haven't finished for today." Gara just glared and asked "Where is Linnea, or Murtugh?" Linnea spoke out "What's the problem?" Gara said "He's an incompetent teacher. I'd prefer a rider who I know has skills to teach me. Like you." Linnea sighed "Kilf is competent, he was trained by queen Arya." "Competent rider yes teacher no." "He's been teaching students for fifteen years. He may not be a senior rider but I've seen him in action he's good. I'm not up for a new student I have my orders, and Murtugh has administrative duities at the moment big time." "So you reccomend him then?" "Yeah." Kilf bowed and said Thank you for the praise Lady Linnea." "Fine then." Gara walked off the little dragon in tow. Linnea got settled in her personal quarters. The tree house was large enough for Arget and Akane easily. Deidara could crash in the study there was a bed in there. Linnea's students knew where they were staying so everything was settled. Linnea could relax here so could the others. It was safe there.

Linnea got herself healthy again before she started tracking the shade again. Sauske was interested in more advanced arcane arts than what Linnea had already taught him. So she was making him improve his energy reserves before she taught him anything else. Itachi was looking over doccuments while Deidara was exploring the city aquainting himself with artisans and discussing their respective crafts. Naruto was at the sparring grounds with Galvoz and Hivarda tearing it up. Sakura was at the hospital practicing surgical techniques on the training dummies. Arget and the other dragons were hunting. Gara's siblings were poking around Linnea's quarters asking questions about the riders in general. Itachi was answering their questions and still pouring over documents for Linnea. It was nice to have an assistant like this. Itachi shooed the two snoops and kissed the back of Linnea's neck snaking his arms around her. Having a lover was nice too...

Seth looked over at the unconscious Rider. She was starting to wake up. "Hey. She's coming to," said Seth. He ran over to her. "Oh. What happened?" she asked. "We rescued you after you were attacked by a slayer," said Seth. The Rider looked over at her dragon. "Sun Fang," she said. She ran over to him. Sun Fang woke up. He looked at his Rider and smiled. "I'm glad you're awake," he thought. "You too," said Mariah. She embraced her dragon. "Let's start by asking what really happened," said Seth. Mariah explained. Afterwards Seth nodded. "So you were ambushed as well," thought Shadow. Sun Fang nodded. "Hm. We have to go to Farthen Dur immediately," said Seth to Angelica. "Right," said Angelica. "They need their rest though," protested Monica. "True. But I do want to see my nephew Silan," said Angelica. "Yeah. He has to see his little cousin," said Seth. "Sabrina is his only cousin," said Caleb. Seth nodded. He turned to Mariah. "Do you want to rest first, or find out who did this?" he asked. "Leave," she said.

Linnea was having an easier time of keeping an eye on the shade. Deidara was being put to work destroying slayer facilities with great success. The number of slayer incidents had gone down significantly. Linnea was going over texts books and scrolls to formulate attack plans to deal with the shade. Accounts of all the sucessful slayings, what was common between them all? Besides the stab to the heart as the final blow. So far all Linnea could find is that someone or something distracted the shade right before the stab. Linnea reported her findings to Arya who passed it along. Linnea's students were doing their own things mostly training. She didn't know where Itachi was or Akane were something about the craigs. Arget was helping her with the reading. He did the reading and she handled the paper. Deidara was due back and knew where to find her. When Deidara showed up he had managed to burn off a portion of his hair and had several broken bones. "What happened to you?" "Ran into Sasori. Didn't get poisoned but he's got a flamethrower." Linnea snickered while she tended the bones all minor breaks but still broken. "I did not know a puppet could pack firepower. Did you detonate him?" "Tried to he got away. At least he can't follow me here." "That's true... Is he working for the slayers?" "No looking for me un." Itachi entered the library looking tired "Kisame tried to drag me back to the Akatsuki... Akane almost ate him." Linnea looked disgusted "Did she manage to bite him or what?" "Said he tasted like shark." Arget chuckled"You mean the fish man? He smells like fish, looks like a shark, and tastes like a shark... I might want to take a bite of him then..." Linnea asked "Where's Akane?" "Kisame got her in the side of the head with Samihada so she's with a healer, almost damaged her ear." "Wow... get any information off him?" "Just that he and Sasori came here to collect us and recruit you." Linnea and Arget both started laughing hard and howled in unison "Are they insane? We're loyal to our Erbithals!" "Are they insane? We're loyal to our Erbithals!" Deidara started laughing too "Bakas! As if they could force her or Arget to do anything un!" Itachi shook his head "I doubt this is a laughing matter." Linnea's laughter died down as did Arget's "It's just that they're being idiots. Without stupid people like that we'd have no one to really laugh at. Anything that stupid I laugh at." 

Linnea recovered from her bout of laughing and got back to work. She'd almost finished for the day with paper work and was going to check on her students. Proper rider training took decades accounting for an individual's specializations. Sakura picked healing, Sauske spell work, Hiverda and Galvoz combat were some examples. Naruto was making a new addition to the specialization; the shinobi arts. His sensei Kakashi and Deidara were tutoring him further. Linnea was working with him on combining the rider arts with the shinobi. One might in theory be able to use chakra instead of energy to fuel spells. That would mean that the caster would have an additional energy reserve. It was just a theory for now. Linnea specialized in diciplines of the mind, the healing arts, the arcane, and teaching. She had two thousand years to perfect her arts and she could only get better from here on out.

"Then that settles it," said Caleb. "We'll leave in the morning," said Caleb. "No, we leave now," said Monica. "Come on. They need rest," said Caleb, "and so do I." "We just got here like a few minutes ago baby," said Monica. Manny giggled. Caleb sighed. "Are you sure you want fly our son all the way to the Alagaesian continent?" asked Caleb. "He has a point," thought Vinezilla. "We live in the North American continent," he thought, "which means we'll have to fly leagues of miles to get to the Alagaesian continent." "We can do it," thought Shadow. "Seth and I have taken many flights, back and forth from the other continents," he thought. "Vinezilla, you and Daisy we'll be able to hold up, right?" asked Angelica. "Of course," thought Daisy. "Good. We can leave now," said Caleb. He readied Vinezilla.He then readied Daisy and helped Monica onto Daisy's back. Caleb got on Vinezilla's back. "Let's get rollin'," he said. Angelica nodded and nudged Seth. "Come on," she said. Sabrina sneezed. "Bless you," they said.

Linnea had work to do Sauske had almost passed out overdoing it. The kid was flat on the ground. If she hadn't been there he'd be unconsious. "Sauske, why didn't you stop when I told you." "I almost had it Erbithal." Linnea sat the teenager up. "When I give you an order, I have a reason. I don't do it just because I can. I base jump just because I can. Ordering people around not so much. Need some energy or do you think you can walk?" "I can walk Erbithal." Linnea helped him up and got the teen where he could rest. "Take it easy for the rest of the day."

Linnea was tracking the shade again. Same spot as last time. Somewhere in the dungeons. There were so many unexplored tunnels down there. Linnea was going to have some people map the tunnels and explore the unexplored. The additional benefit to that was possibly forcing the shade into more open areas where they could launch an attack. Linnea wanted to get back to the Akatsuki campaign. She wanted to form a new branch of the riders there formally. Every continent had one except for the Elemental Nations. Each had a leader a local rider who knew the continent and the peoples who lived there. Linnea would run things until a suitable replacement could be given the position. During her short stay she fell in love with the place. Linnea wanted to live there and learn the ninja arts. The people, the food, the land itself, the way the people lived, and all the traditions the people held fascinated her. It was a new world. More to learn more to do. Linnea lived to learn, explore, experience new things, and teach. Linnea and Arget would never stop not until there was nothing left to learn.

Takes place in any continent: Africa, Alagaesia, Asia, Australia, North America, or South America. It's summer time, a dragon's strongest time.

Long ago, Eragon defeated Galbatorix. Eight years ago, the Dungeon People arose and began attacking. Thanks to to the Chosen Ones, their swords, dragons, and allies, the Dungeon People and Lizards were eradicated from the land. Before their deaths, the Dungeon People made a pact with the dragon slayers. Now the slayers are doing the Dungeon People's failed mission. They must be stopped before time runs out.
