Sora waited for an answer but turned around because she heard pawsteps. She turned around to see Chain bury his fangs into Lillian's scruff. As Lillian yelped in pain, Sora sank her vicious-looking fangs into Chain's ribs. Growling, she snapped her jaws where his head had been a second ago. The next thing that anyone knew was that Sora and Chain were lashing at the other, snapping their jaws close to each other and getting dangerously close to the edge of a large cliff. The other wolves were too stunned to do anything else but watch. It happened so fast. Sora and Chain rolled over the edge of the cliff, locked in a death grip. Both were found motionless at the bottom of the cliff. It did not look as though they were breathing. Now, it was deathly quiet and still. Too quiet...
Sora blinked her silver eyes. Her breath was very shallow and could not be heard.'Am I dying?'she asked herself. Her vision was blurred, her hearing was even starting to fail her and her whole body ached but she had got him! That monster who called itself a dog. She took him with her down the steep cliff. A small smile spread across her lips. Then, It quickly disappeared when she felt a sharp pain in her chest.
She managed to pull herself up into a sitting position and keeled over. Sora did not know what she was coughing up because her vision was leaving her. All she could see now were shapes. What she didn't realize was that it was her own blood that she was coughing up. Sora tried to stand but ended up falling to the ground onto her side.
'I wish that I could tell Justin that I was ashamed for calling him a spy. He's no spy. He would not have stayed this long if he was. It's a shame really that i'm unable to tell the pack that I am sorry for failing to protect them. This might be the end, but I still want to live. I will not die just yet! I want to survive!'With that, Sora passed out into what could only be called a coma.
Justin couldn't believe his eyes.
"she fell..."that was all he could say.
He was the first to run to the cliff.living in the mountains allowed him to skillfuly go down the side of the cliff.
He looked down at her broken form.passed out coughing up blood now and then.he buried his muzzle in her fur.she was breathing!
He nudged he and nuzzled her face.she was really hurt.
"ju-ju-stin..." her voice was so weak.
"you can't die."she said
"you can't die because...you just can't!"
"if you die...I''ll feel terrible."
"I can't go on this journey without you.inwould have no reason to reach for paradise..."
"your too beautiful to die..."
He quietly sat with her,trying to keep her warm.firin understood.he wanted to be alone,someone hurt everything he cared about.
"will she be ok?"lilian squeaked
"I-,I don't know..."he replied.
'Justin?'He was somewhere next to me. I knew that much. I wish that I could see him, but it was as though I was blinded. That and everything was spinning faster and faster until I had to put my head down and lie down on my side again. I felt him nuzzle my face. I feebly tried to lick his muzzle back, but I didn't know if he felt it. It was very light, so frail. I called out to him, wanting to say what I needed to say. His fur brushed against mine. I was too weak to do anything more than thump my tail on the ground once. My limit had been reached.
"Ju-stin. I don't..." I coughed again. My voice was strained and croaky. "Don't want..." Justin stared at her worriedly. "I...don't want...to...die..."
"My...throat."Sora moved her head a little to the side and exposed a deep cut in her neck with blood welling up around it. "My...hind paw...Something not...right...feels...odd..." With that she passed out in her own pool of blood staring at Justin's dark form.
Lillian stared at Sora if she died there would be now one to snuggle with no one too laugh with she had just lost Raiku she didn't want to loose her too. She didn't want to be alone again. Even though Lillian had been alone all her life she felt like her little heart was breaking into a million peaces. "Justin, Firin do something save my sister" Lillian knew Sora was not her sister but she had felt like Sora and Raiku were her sisters. Just then Lillian turned into a wolf puppy and limped to Sora and laid her fuzzy face to soras cheek and she felt her tears role down and splashed on Sora. The she lifted her little head and howled her little howl then Justin and Raiku joined in they hoped Sora would hear them in her state and come back from her injuries.
Raiku sat and thought.she needed a good plan to get out of the cell.and this was different she had another wolf with her she needed to take care of.
After awhile she came up with her plan.
Step 1:wait til the gaurd came in a placed thier food in the cell
Step 2:attack the gaurd knocking him down
Step 3:make a run for it,letting Shelilla lead the way out while raiku takes down the gaurds.
"ok,time to put it in motion!"she whispered to Shelilla
Raiku jumped at the gaurd handing her the food.she bit down hard but she couldn't penetrate his armour.shelilla stopped,and waited for raiku.then out of nowhere a second gaurd blasted her with his sound gun.
"run shelillia!"raiku yelled.she didn't run she stayed."go!now!"she barked it as a order.this time she left.
The glass window fell down before raiku could get out too.
"nice try wolf..."the duke said.he slowly walked up to the window and stared at her through it.
"now about that "your going to tell me what I want to know"business.i have a man who is more then willing to "talk"with you."
A extremely large and cruel looking man walked up.
"now sir gerald,remember not to hurt her too much.i don't want you to bruise her pretty little face..."the duke finished with a devilish smile
The man had something in his hands.raiku froze when she saw what they were.
A taser and a whip...
'Where am I? How did I get here? What was I just doing? I cannot remember.'Sora found herself in a bright world. 'Since when had the world gotten so bright, so warm? A better question is to ask why my eyes aren't used to this light. What is going on?'
"Hello, Sora." A light brown wolf with chocolate brown eyes came up towards Sora. Sora squinted at the wolf.'She looks similar to me,'I thought. My eyes widened. "Mother? Wait but I thought you were dead...?" She looked at her mother, then stared down at the ground. "Wait, that means that I died. I remember now. I fell off the cliff along with Chain and before I knew it, Justin was there."
"Well, not exactly. Right now you are on the brink of death so you have a choice. Stay here with me or go back to your friends and pack. The decision is entirely yours to make. What is your answer? Will you go back? It will be difficult, but I know that you can make it."
"I want to go back! I don't care how hard it will be, so long as I go back! Before I go though, can I ask you a question?" "Alright but just one." "Is father here?" "No, I do not know where he is, but he is alive somewhere if that is what you are asking. You know," Sora's mother said as she turned, "You were always the strongest of the litter. You fought to survive. You truly do have a warriors' heart. I'm glad you chose what you did. It was not your time to die." "Goodbye mother," I spoke softly.
I slit one of my eyes open. Everything was fuzzy still, but at least I could see something more than a shape. 'What was that sound? Wolves howling for me? Why? Wait. I know them. My pack, including Justin. They were...howling...for me?' I saw them look at me and Lillian noticed that one of my eyes was open.Â
"Hey! One of Sora's eyes is open! Justin, come look!" Lillian exclaimed and took Justin closer to Sora. "Sora! Thank goodness that you're alive! I was so worried for you." I blinked at Justin slowly and realized that Lillian was snuggling right up against me with a tear-stained face.'She cried for me?'I numbly thought. I stared at the ground where I lay. It was covered with my blood. I looked back at Justin.
I slowly closed my eye shut and felt a warm tongue licking my wounds. I had a lot of them and I was still losing too much blood so I was relieved. 'Who is licking my wounds?'I thought in my head.'I wonder if Justin's the one.'After that, I feel into a deep sleep, too exhausted to move or do anything more.
Justin was SO relieved.
"your ok :) " he said as he licked her wounds. "I'm so glad your alive!"he mumbled into her fur
"if you died...I wouldn't know what to do."he said
"now how do you feel?"
"like I fell off a cliff..."
"as I expected...can you walk?"
"I don't think so."
"then I shall carry you!"
Without warning justin picked sora up bridal style.
"I'm sorry if that hurt."he said
But sora was already asleep.in his arms.
This day couldn't get any better or worse.
"now if I remember correctly,the dukes castle is over that way."he pointed past a small canyon.
"it will take us a day of walking.10 hours if we go through the canyon."
"then let's just go through it."lilian said
"it's not that easy,there are walrus in that canyon..."
Firin was already running off torwards the canyon
'I'm too tired to stay awake any longer. Is Justin picking me up in his arms? I know that I'm in my human form right now, but I'm too tired to care about appearing in that form.'Â Sora was asleep before Justin held her close to him. One of her arms hung down beside her. In her dream, she saw some canyons looming before her. She had seen them before. Once. If only she could figure out where. She saw a pack. It was a different pack than the one now. One that she had followed a long time ago. Her friend was in that pack-a white wolf. Why was he here? He left so long ago...She left that dream only to go into another. Sora was so exhausted, she knew that a whole week could easily go by before she woke up. The last thing Sora felt was that she was being carried somewhere...
Veronica had been traveling around from place to place meeting new people when she settled for this canyon. She had stayed here for 2 years learning everything to now about the canyon waiting for something. Many people had passes through this mountain but she had never fromed a pack. Just then she sensed them in the wind drawing closer to her canyon. A injured Female two big strong males and a little puppy gender unknown it was two young to tell by sent. "What are you doing in my canyon" Veronica said when they drew close to the intruders she knew she blended in with the snow but they could still smell her. The she seen the female "Folow me if you want your friend to live" it wasn't a threat just a statment. Veronica went to her cave if they followed good for them if not the storm would kill them all if the males where to proud she hoped they would bring the lady and the pup so she could heal there injuries..
Sora's dreams soon turned into nightmares. These nightmares were not just ordinary nightmares. They were formed out of every bad memory that she had and she was slowly reliving them one by one. She remembered when she had her family together and it was a nice dream. Unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare when her father left. "Wait! Don't go! Please don't leave us here! I want to go," Sora begged. There was only sadness in his eyes. She turned around to find her family already dead, lifeless. Her nightmare was getting worse and worse. A noble grabbed her roughly and threw her aside, then he left saying,"Search for Paradise with me or die. That is your choice to make. I won't wait forever. You'll seek me out eventually. One way or the other." Then, he left in an airship.
She relived all of those days when she had been alone, cold and starving. Those nights were the hardest. She nearly died more than once before there. Sora was once again going through her memories of licking her own wounds. Of all the times when she thought that she would die. Of the white wolf she had met and his pack telling her about Paradise. Of the time she travelled with them, only to be turned back. Of the time she decided to leave the place she once called home.
When she walked into the city, wanting only answers but ended up becoming part of a pack. Sora remembered traveling with them. They accepted her into this pack. She remembered meeting Justin for the first time and the time they both went hunting together to feed the pack.Sora also remembered how Raiku had been taken, how Dune and his dog had attempted to kill them, how she had driven Chain and herself off the face of the cliff. She defended Lillian and felt herself fall down over the cliff still locked in a death grip with Chain.
Sora squirmed in Justin's arms when she relived the moment when she fell off the cliff. She struggled against him, with her breath coming out quickly and jagged. Justin did his best to comfort her but she was reopening some of her wounds with her thrashing around. Justin's white shirt started turning red. She remembered that Justin said that she was too beautiful to die and when he had picked her up before she drifted off. Now, she grabbed Justin's shoulder and clutched it with her hand. Sora was in a lot of pain right now and things did not seem to be getting any better as she started shivering and shaking, grimacing the whole time. Now Sora started growling feebly in her pain although she was still in her human form.
The four wolves gathered in Veronicas smacious cave. "Lay the women down there" she said and pointed to a bed made of layers of animal skin. Then Veronica seen the women "Sora" she whispered. The others lookes and her each had a question on there face. "Well she used to travel in the Winterhold Pack she dated my brother for a short time" Veronica noticed the shocked looked on one of the mans faces. "Dont worry she broke up with him" Veronica said. Then Veronica started to heal the girl Sora her healing was legendary among her people. "My pack has long since been dead but my brother and me survived he should be here any minute"
Chain woke up to dune staring down at him with worry.he could barely move.then chain picked him up and caried him back to his truck.he patched him up and set him down on the passenger seat.
He then did something he really didn't mean to do.he changed into his human form.
"gwahh!"dune was shocked!
"what!"chain said.he then realized that he was speaking like a human!
Dune stopped and thought.
"your part wolf,so you can change into forms like that."
"this could be an advantage..."
He smiled evilly.chain was too sore to care.he looked in the mirror and saw a buff muscled man.around 25.he had scars everywhere and deep brown eyes.he really did match his other form.
He then realized he could speak to dune now!he looked over at him and this was the first thing he said
"I swear if you EVER take me to the vet again!"
Dune just laughed
Veronica told Justin to set Sora down on the animal furs. Afterwards, she began to heal her. Justin watched her anxiously, eventually asking Veronica if Sora would survive. "There's a small chance she will survive. Sora's lost a ton of blood already but she is a fighter. She might just make it." The other wolves sighed out of relief. "I would not be too happy about that. There is a greater chance that she won't. Even if she does survive, Sora will be too weak to do hardly anything. It will be almost like having to take care of a week old pup. I'll do my best to keep her alive but, aside from that, I cannot do much more. Then it will be up to Sora to recover."
Somewhere in Sora's mind, she heard someone's voice.'Someone's calling my name. I wish I had the strength to answer back but I do not. I wish that they would just let me rest. I'm not dying, I don't think, just cold and tired. Maybe a little hungry even.'
Sora had a little strength left in her, just enough to tell them that she was still fighting. That she was still alive. "F-f-fr-eez-ing," was all she could make out. Sora started to shiver again, so Justin curled up next to her. For the moment Sora was not able to change back into her wolf form which explained part of the reason why she was so cold but she also had a fever, having only the strength to breathe. This was looking extremely bad for Sora.
Just then the silent cave was interrupted and disturbed by a male wolf Veronica's twin brother Gabriel. His fur brisled when he smelled and heard the wolves in his sisters cave but when he seen his sister was okay he calmed down. His gazed zoned in on Soras sleeping form "Hey is that Sora" he said. Gabriel noticed that when he said Sodas voice one of the males bristled. Gabriel smerked at him he was taller and knew how to fight better he hadn't survived this canyon for nothing. "I have the food" Gabriel finally said. "Good I can make Soup for Sora and did you by chance gather wood" Veronica said. Gabriel smiled and looked at Justin while saying "Of course I always know what a lady wants"
Wolfs Rain
Setting
There are 3 places to start: The stinky, North city that is pretty much ruined and full of scientists and criminals. The South City, which is an island where you have to tow heavy boxes or get whipped so you can have food. Or the rural areas, such as the mountains, desert, forest, or ruins.Plot
If you haven't heard about the show Wolf's Rain, well it is a time way in the future in a pretty much post apocalyptic world where wolves "died" over 200 years ago. There are a number of cities where you try to survive as a wolf and find paradise. Also, wolves have a human cloak where they trick the humans hunting them to see a human form, not their wolf form. Paradise is where Lunar Flowers bloom and only wolves know the way to paradise. Also, wolves have almost super powers, such as jumping like a ninja up a wall and being able to survive drops humans usually wouldn't. If you are a royal-well, i'm not going to explain-look Wolf's Rain up on youtube. There will be challenges, mystery, sacrifice, friendship and happiness.History
Loads of wolves have tried to get to Paradise. All have dissapeared, unless they returned early. As the red moon approaches (the end of the earth) wolves must go on the quest for paradise-or die. The rest of the history will go on with this RP.Rules
