To people perhaps wanting to join,

Just wondering, does anybody want to be a flower maiden...?

The role has been open for a while now, and we haven't had any new joiners in a long time... I don't want anyone to be intimidated to join just because the story is a little ways along. Feel free to join, because there are still many roles open, and joining in the storyline is, fine as long as you stick to it. There are still roles to be played, and in fact we would love to have you join in! Some people have been inactive for a while or haven't posted at all, so we'd be delighted to meet you guys! :D 

Just a hello and welcome to any new users, and this is Shelilla- out!

Sora raised her head to look at Hunter, then firmly tucked her nose into her tail fur once again. That yearling male looked like he was frightened to death of her. Just as Sora was slipping off into sleep, she heard Star ask her what was up."Nothing Star, just go back to sleep,"Sora mumbled into her fur."Tomorrow will be a busy day and we can't afford to waste any time. I'm sure Raiku and Firin will be happy to see us when we arrive. Then we can all head towards Lunar Mountain where all the Lunar Flowers bloom in the moonlight."At that, Sora nestled deeper into her fur and fell sound asleep, her breathing becoming slower and deeper.

As soon as Shelilla heard the other wolves' breathing calm, she got up silently and tiptoed into the forest, slinking through the snow like a ghostly shadow. When she could no longer hear or smell the other wolves, she began to run. In case they decided to follow her, the she-wolf ran up a creek for a few miles before running onwards. Until the sun started to peak its rays over the distant mountains, Shelilla met no other signs of life in the barren landscape. When she eventually felt too tired to run any futher, she stopped under an abandoned fox den, reverting to her human form to rest in the lukewarm cave. Silent tears poured unbidden from her swollen blue eyes and she curled up with her knees to her chest, her forms flickering back and forth in emotional distress. How could I do this? She thought painfully, guilt consuming her mind I abandoned my friends in a time of possible need, and all for this selfish notion of mine. I'm such an idiot. Shelilla wept there, sleeping every few minutes and waking up crying again, until morning came.

Star settled down to sleep a few yards away from Sora. She grinned at Hunter and he shifted to settle down next to her.  She slept deeply for a while until she awoke to a loud bang. She jumped up and there was silence. Laying back down star noticed Hunter was gone. A shadow moved in the forest. Hunter! She followed him in to the forest. It wasn't him though. A tall boy stood were Hunter was. His scruffy hair rustled in the wind and he smelt like Hunter?! He turned and smiled easily at star. His green eyes glittered like Hunters did. Star whined and then she blacked out...

It seemed as though Sora had just closed her eyes momentarily when a loud crack of thunder went off directly above the pack, bringing Sora to her paws. By the look of it, her packmates had too. She cautiously walked around the pack, making sure that none of them had wandered off. It did not take her too long to realize that Star was missing and so was the yearling male. At least, when it came to yearlings, Lillian was safe and sound.'If not,' Sora thought, 'Raiku would likely try to rip off my hide and feed me to scavengers. Not that I'd let her have half the chance to try it.'

"Star. Star, where are you?" Sora trotted along in the forest, scanning the forest for any signs of Star. At last, she spotted a muddy ball of fur next to a group of trees. Star's gray colored coat was becoming streaked with mud. Sora carefully burrowed under Star until the yearling was resting on her shoulders. "It's okay Star. I've got you. Soon we will be back with the pack and Veronica will help you recover." She spoke quietly to the pup, trying to comfort her even though Sora knew Star could not hear her and probably would not remember the kindly spoken words if she did hear them.

Star woke up in next to Sora. Her head was groggy and her eyes blurred. Shaking her head she looked around for Hunter. He wasn't there. Sora. Star nudged Sora with her nose waking her up. He whined and span around a few times before bolting doing a lap of the pack and then bounding back to Sora. Panting she told Sora what had happened with the human/Hunter/thing. Then she got up again and ran to the woods. The real Hunter, the wolf Hunter! She galloped towards him or his smell and BANG she ran into him. He nudged her shoulder with his nose and grinned his tounge lolling out his mouth. Then she sat down and told him what happened with not wolf Hunter. He was confused for a while then said oh, I can show you how....

The brown she-wolf lifted up her head sleepily and yawned. She must have fallen asleep while Veronica was checking up on Star. Speaking of that pup, Star seemed to have endless energy like usual, which was probably a good sign, especially considering that Sora found her unconcious. Slowly she stretched herself out until her tail arched slightly over her back and she was play bowing, yawning all the while. She had just straightened herself out when Star came bounding over to her.

Sora had just made herself comfortable on the ground while Star was talking when she abruptly cut off and raced back into the woods. Sora hardly caught anything Star was saying mainly because she was so excited about it that she nearly said it all in one breath before she raced away. All Sora caught was "Loud bang...went into woods...hunter...boy...not hunter," and nothing more. She sat down dumbfounded, her tail resting beside her, at both the yearling's amount of energy and the story that Star had just shared.

"What was that all about?" Sora rose to her paws, then briskly trotted back the way she had come. Something about Star's story had worried her; she had absolutely no idea if Star was talking about Hunter or a human hunter but as she hurried along the trail, the feeling that she had forgotten something important welled up inside her.

Star stared as she listened to how all the wolves could turn into humans. She cocked her head confused. I'll show you. He said before beginning to shake. Pop! In hunters place was a boy. The same one! Star shook her head. She began to shake. Star could feel her bones piping. Then crack! She looked about and brushed some on her hair out of her eyes with her hand. Wait? HAND?! Human Hunter smiled gently before picking her up and taking her to the river. She looked in. Her hair was wild and uncut reaching her hips. It was a sandy blonde/Brown. Her usually grey eyes were big and had bits of blue streaking through them. She grinned showing her gappy teeth. Overall she looked about 3 maybe 4. Suddenly the scent of Sora hit her nose.

Hunter set star on the floor and she wobbled about about a bit before slowly waddling towards Sora. Sora sniffed her hand before licking it gently. Star giggled quietly. Suddenly her eyes widened. "Wowfy" she murmed her voice soft but croaky from not being used. A gust of wind blew a leaf past star and she sprinted after it. Behind her, Sora began to change...     

Sora slowed down her pace, convinced that if there truly was a hunter in these woods, it would be foolish to rush in; exercising caution was vital. As she crept along the trees' shadows, she caught the whiff of the missing yearlings' scents nearby. Carefully, without making any noise, she crawled under one of the many bushes growing close to the stream to get a better view of what was going on. When Sora did so, her fur raised slightly seeing two young humans by the stream until she realized that the two humans might really just be Star and Hunter in their human forms.

Sniffing cautiously, Sora slid out from the cover of the bush to walk up to the girl she believed was Star. When Star held her hand out, Sora concentrated on the scent. After a couple sniffs, Sora carefully licked her hand, letting Star know that she recognized her as well as Hunter.

The dark brown she-wolf sighed inwardly as a gust of wind passed through the area. She had a feeling that Star wanted to see what she looked like as a human. As Star chased after a windblown leaf, Sora decided to show her human form. Her fur lengthened as her form grew taller and the silver in her eyes faded. Her hair remained a mix of browns and black while her eyes became a duller silver while keeping the tinge of their respected blue and green. She was wearing blue jeans, a pale gray t-shirt and a slightly torn leather jacket. Sora felt the breeze stroking her hair as she turned her head towards the area where the pack was waiting for them. "Star, we really should be going."

There are 3 places to start: The stinky, North city that is pretty much ruined and full of scientists and criminals. The South City, which is an island where you have to tow heavy boxes or get whipped so you can have food. Or the rural areas, such as the mountains, desert, forest, or ruins.
If you haven't heard about the show Wolf's Rain, well it is a time way in the future in a pretty much post apocalyptic world where wolves "died" over 200 years ago. There are a number of cities where you try to survive as a wolf and find paradise. Also, wolves have a human cloak where they trick the humans hunting them to see a human form, not their wolf form. Paradise is where Lunar Flowers bloom and only wolves know the way to paradise. Also, wolves have almost super powers, such as jumping like a ninja up a wall and being able to survive drops humans usually wouldn't. If you are a royal-well, i'm not going to explain-look Wolf's Rain up on youtube. There will be challenges, mystery, sacrifice, friendship and happiness.
Loads of wolves have tried to get to Paradise. All have dissapeared, unless they returned early. As the red moon approaches (the end of the earth) wolves must go on the quest for paradise-or die. The rest of the history will go on with this RP.
sigh... Look at my other RP rules-same as usual. The max is 6 characters and you can't make another persons character same something silly if you don't want them to. Not TOO much controlling others characters unless you have permission.
