"I feel like a train hit me, but I am fine. And I can move. The Qestion is what about you?" Lokri said  only asking a simple qestion so not to put more strain on his voice. She knew what step one was. Find Fresh Water. Then a place to rest and check for major wounds. She shifted her stiff body to the side and looked at Smoke. Her liquid gold eyes serched to see if he was really ok, knowing he was one to hide his wounds. Her major consern was the head wound. She then though about her own self. She wasnt really paying attention to see if she borke anything. Proably a few ribs for her sides hurt like heck. Other then that she was just brusied badly.

Smoke watched her "I'm fine" was all he really said in answer to her question, in attempt to look like he was as painless as possible; it was a lie, he hurt bad, he had a massive head ache, he could tell he had a broken rib or two, or they were at least out of place.  He inhaled sharply but it was hardly noticable, and he crossed his arms, hiding  the fact he was sliding his one hand onto his side, and put a bit of pressure down in his ribs, to somewhat relieve the pain that was coursing through his body.  But then soon removed it before he figured she would notice; "We should probably get moving, we've gotta find water..." he stated not wanting to just stand here anymore.

Lokri sighed knowing he was lieing but didnt qestion. "Alright..I sugest we move into the forest to find fresh water. Its proably are best hope." She said waveing her hand absently towards the dense forest. The forest actualy spooked her a bit, as well as knowing you could get really lost in that foliage. And who knows what animals were in it...if there were animals at all on this island. She shook her head trying not to think if the animals on her were savage. She turned back to Smoke. "Unless you have a better way to go...I am up for suggestions."

Smoke shrugged slightly, agreeing, as he studdied the wall of greenery that led into the forest for an opening in it to make them getting through it a bit easier, nope, nothing. "Alright, I supose the jungle is the best choice, after all, there isn't drinking any of that..." he said motioning briefly towards the ocean that surrounded the island they were both stuck on before turning back to her again "So, do you want me to be a gentleman and say ladies first or should I trudge on and break trail?" he asked her and winked jokingly once, somehow he's managed to keep his sense of humor through all of this.
Lokri smiled and shook her head. "Lets keep you a gentalmen." She said and moved forward towards the jungle. Her golden eyes scaned the it and she sighed. "This is going to be tons of fun..." She grumbled to know one in particualr. She moved forward and actualy was saprised when it it was quiet easy for her to manover her way around. Yes, the fins triped her...accasionaly...most of the time, she still went with out injury. She looked back to see how Somke was doing. Hopefully nothing in here would sneek up on them. They had no wepons to fend them off.
Smoke chuckled and walked in after her, he was sort of suprised at how it opened up a little more once they were inside, and he was able to move fairly easily, his gaze was on his feet as he took careful steps through the thick undergrowth, not only did he not want to trip, but he certainly didn't want to be bit by snakes either, he didn't know if there were any even here but he wasn't going to take the chance either.  And he glanced up every so often to make sure he was still with Lokri and not wandering off trail.

Lorkri scaned the foliage with her golden gaze. She looked for any clue that water was near. She looked for the slight glimmering of water surface, animal tracks(If there were any here), alot of plant growth(Which was hard to tell because they were in a sorta thick jungle). She slowed down and perred more carefully. It was so faint she could hardly see it. But lucky the air was so still she just heared the small little bableing of water running over stone. "I think I found water..." she said moveing toward the derection of the noise and small shimmer.

Sure enough, a small creek flowed through the trees. She sighed and crouched by the water. It looked so clear as if it was fresh bottle water. She looked over at Smoke. "Think its safe to drink?" she asked tilted her head the way she sometimes does when she askes a qestion or is confused.

Smoke followed after her towards the water, his spirit instantly lifted at the oncoming sound of water.  He stood there next to Lokri, looking down at the brook then at her as she spoke "Maybe, my guess is yes, it's not stilled water cause it's flowing but then it is only just a stream to, so I guess the only sure way is to find out where this is flowing from, we might find something bigger to" he said as an answer to his question, dispite how right he could have cared less if it was completly safe for them to drink or not, he just wanted something to drink.  He turned back and just stared at the brook for a moment longer and how refreshing it looked.
Lokri shruged and moved a finger through the water. "What ever you want to do Smoke..." She said staring at the water then turning her head a bit to look at him. She agreed perfectly that the water looked refreshing, she was quiet tired of the bitter tasteing salt water in her mouth and fresh water would also help there energy. However if the water was not safe to drink, or they didnt want to find out the hard way might as well not. She stood up from her crouched position and turnd to fully face Smoke. "Its you call."
Smoke looked at her then the water then at her again before rubbing his hand on the back of his neck, he figured she wanted to drink the water just as much as he did "Alright, well, I guess we could follow it up stream for a while and see if we find anything, but If there isn't a bigger body of water, then I'm totally willing to take the chance and just drink from this" he said sounding more sure of himself than he actually was, he hoped that if this was connected to something bigger, it was nearby.
Lokri nodded and looked at the water. "Water is flowing to the right...so we go left." she said turnning left and started to walk along the bank of the small creek. It was alittle bit easier to walk next to it then it was to walk head long into the Jungle. She looked up and watched a bird fly across to another Tree then watch them with an egar eye. A sign of life was reasurring yet somehow scary. Because were ever there is animal life..isnt there a preadator? She shook the though from her head and just kept her eyes on the water.

Smoke was watching the same bird Lokri had been as he walked along side of her, only, the thought of predators never even entered his mind, he was just glad to see a form of life here, that means that there would be food as well as water, and maybe if they were lucky, a decent place to set up a base or camp of some sort.

Turning and looking back at the water, the stream had seemed to turn into a small river and the water flow seemed even faster which caused a smile to form on his face and he picked up the pace a little bit, there must have been something ahead that this was feeding from.

Lokri watched the water has it grew even more rapid. She knew what might be going both through their heads. This Water had to be feeding off of something else. And larger. And if they were lucky a source of food, water, and Place were they could set up base would also lie ahead. This made her quiet happy a the though of haveing everything they needed. The only other thing was if anyone else had crashed and what lay out in this stranfe land, and what saprises and secrets it held. She was ready for all of it, but first off they needed to finish step one. Find the larger body of water.
Smoke actually began to jog alongside the water source, when he stopped suddenly, his jaw nearly fell open as she layed his eyes on it, it was a small lake or pond of sorts, crystal clear, and bright blue, the same color as his own eyes, but that thought never crossed his mind, all that he could think about was.. "Water!" he nearly shouted it, not like it would have sounded like a shout anyways with his throat the way it was, he tool off walking again and pretty much colapsed along side of it, and dipped his hands in, and put the cool liquid on his face, which washed away the dried blood that had pasted onto the side of his face.
Lokri stared at the water. It was so clear like water yuo get in a water bottle. She looked around. This place was beautiful. But that was less on her mind. She knelt down by the water and scooped it up in her hands. She drank it washing that horribal Salty taste from her mouth. She sat back and stared out over the water." Better?" She asked to Smoke knowing he was the one that needed it most. She kept her eyes fixed on the water woundering if fish might live in it. Second part...find food sources. A Silver body moved under the water. Finding food sources. Done. She looked over at Smoke. She knew what to do next find a place to set up camp, but she wanted to hear something from him.
