Lilya nodded to Deonday and jumped when the dorrs closed. She could feel the chilling claw of death prick her spine and she stared as the serphant hissed at her, "Pathetic human! You have no powers without the ghost or elf, I've watched you! There is nothing you can do now!" The serphant hissed wickedly and flicked its tail and thr gargoyles started to cackle as they surrounded the bounty hunters. "There is nothing you can do now.." hey all whispered in their strange voices. "Oh great Jewels look what you did now." Jason snapped and Lilya watched as a gargoyle lunged for her, but she easily dodged the bumbling creature.
Deonday looked hatefully at the serpent and the gargoyles. His swords were strong enough to break the gargoyles, but he would have trouble swinging hard enough. One of the gargoyles leapt at him, Deonday easily dodged it and had shot it's hand. The gargoyle held it's hand in pain and charged trying to ram Deonday. He easily dodged the attack and the gargoyle slammed into the serpent. "I think it's funny how stupid these walking pile of stones are. They aren't any faster either." Deonday had a sinister smile on his face as he charged his gun preparing to shoot the serpent.
Lilya scoffed, "Gargoyles are idiots, I can't see why anyone would want to use them for battle." She easily dodged the gargoyles who wanted to protect their 'master' and kept attacking from all angles, but the only thing they managed to hit was the floor. She rolled her eyes as a gargoyle attempted to attack her again, so to make them stop she took out her sword and sliced the stone creature's hand off, the gargoyle screeched and flopped around uselessly. "Huh-" She muttered and the gargoyle started to glow and heal itself, "Oh joy, we have to kill the serphant befopre we can do anything. These aren't normal gargoyles." She looked to the serphant who had stone gargoyles protecting him from any attack.
Deonday looked annoyingly at the gargoyles clutching his gun now. He turned in the serpents direction looking very annoyed. "I'm about ready to blast this entire room into dust. These things are starting to really tick me off." Deonday looked angrily at another gargoyle that walked over to him. Deonday held both his gun and sword right now. Turning to a gargoyle behind him he slashed from the stomach slicing it in half. The gargoyle that was cut in half pulled it's self together and it reattached it's severed parts. "You have to be kidding me." Deonday looked very hatefully at the gargoyle that had pulled itself together.
Lilya huffed as a gargoyle scratched her arm, eaving painful looking claw marks that barely peirced the skin, "Evidently their claws aren't really effective." She muttered, but she must admit, it hurt more than being scratched. She looked at Deonday hopelessly, "Seems we can't attack the gargoyles, it's no use. We have to find a way to get the gargoyles away from the serphant before we can really do any damage."  Now she really did feel hopeless, usually you can only defeat a stone gargoyle with magic- which none of them had the capabilities of using. "Joy." she muttered.
Grendile slowly opened his eyes. He looked around noticing the rest of the group was gone. He gave a sigh looking at the moon. "Hunters moon, stupid legends are beginning to get me worried." Grendile turned to look at Hokey who was sleeping. "I wonder where they went." Grendile looked around to see that there was no sign of the rest of the group. He looked at the mantion door to see it was wide open. Grendile turned to wake Hokey. "Hokey, I think the rest of the group went back into the mantion. You have to wake up so we can find them. It's dangerous in there, we have to find them."

Hokey slowly blinked awake and rubbed his big eyes, "Hmrmm? They went into the manshion-" It took him a few minutes to realize this and shook his head and now sounded worried, "Master went in there without Hokey!?" He shouted in disbelief, "How could master do that!" He stood up, stretched and ran into the manshion to hear a few distorted hisses and gargoyle growls. He headed towards the sounds and saw his master, Deonday, Jewels, and Jason all fighting stone gargoyles and a giant serphant. "Oh bother..." the elf muttered as Grendile caught up to him."Seems they ran into trouble." Hokey sighed.

Grendile sighed with annoyance as they came closer to their friends. The door that blocked their path was fairly huge. "When aren't they in trouble? It seems like everywhere they turned they find some way to find it." Grendile put a hand on the door, "It's not a very sturdy door, just back off a bit Hokey." Grendile waited until Hokey seemed far enough, then he broke down the doors by kicking them. Deonday was in the middle of dodging a gargoyles attack when he heard the doors break down. "About time you two showed up, these gargoyles are beginning to get on my last nerves."
Lilya dodged a gargoyle by just stepping to the side, "I swear, it's almost like trying to kill off the second band, weird surprises always show up." She sounded bored with this fight, if she couldn't really inflict anything, it was a useless fight to her. "Okay Grendile you do some of that hokus pokus stuff and kill these gargoyles so we can actually make a move on the giant snake, we really need to hurry this up before those idiotic statues get any murderous ideas." SHe sounded bored and was startingt o use sarcasam, one of her last resrots in boredom and in fights.
Grendile sighed, he was still exhausted from the spells he had to use previously. He knew his friends were in trouble so he began casting a spell. The spell sent a shockwave through each of the gargoyles blowing each one up. The only thing left of the gargoyles afterwords were piles of dust. Grendile weakly walked up to a nearby wall exhausted trying to avoid from fainting. Deonday clutched his sword with a sinister smile on his face. "I think we can do some damage now. This will make things a bit easier on us." Deonday gave a side look to Grendile who looked ready to pass out. "I don't think Grendile can handle casting much more spells. I think we can take the snake out ourselves."
Lilya's eyes glittered, "No guns. True fighters use swords." She smiled and the snake started to look worried. IT hissed showing giant vemonous teeth and Lilya rolle dher eyes, "Absoulty terrifying! I've neevr seen anything more scary than that thing!" She sarcastically said in 'fear'. The snake glared at her and hissed, "Foolish humans! You don't know what you're up against! " It hissed and Lilya smiled wickedly to the giant snake, "Oh, I know exactly what I'm doing Mr. Snake, and if you can't handle it, then just leave us to our own liking and we might give you some doggy biscuits!" The snake looked furious at this. He hissed and lunged and Lilya, but she left a good mark where he almost tried to kill her.
Deonday put his gun away grabbing his highly powered sword instead. He clenched his sword tight watching the fight. He took a step closer to the snake ready to swing at it's head. Grendile watched the fight from where he was leaning. He sighed taking a side look to Hokey. "I'm exhausted, let's hope I don't have to cast another spell anytime soon." Grendile's sight was a bit blurry, he regained his balance. He walked away from the wall feeling a bit dizzy. Deonday swung at the snake, the serpent dodged still getting a scratch to the side of it from Deonday.
Lilya sliced att he snake leaving a large gash and the snake screeched painfully, "You'll pay for that, human! You despicable human!" He growled as he glared at Lilya and Lilya looked annoyed, "'K then, how much?"  The snake growled and lunged at her, Lilya slicd at the snake's head, it twitched and then fell to the ground, it's breathing shallow and heavy as it prepared to die. Lilya yawned and proceeded to clean the serpahnt's blood off her sword, "THat was SO difficult." She said sarcastically. The snake glared at her and muttered, "Master... will.. destroy.." Then it died.
Deonday listened a bit disturbed by the snakes last words. "What does it mean by master? You mean there's someone who runs this house of horrors?" Deonday backed off walking over to Lilya. "I don't like the sounds of this, I'm guessing that huge snake lion beast was sent by what the snake refers to 'master' too. Speaking of which, I don't want to run into it again. I just want to get out of here." Grendile slowly turned to see the hallway and the exit. "I think getting out of here would be best, I don't want to run into anymore stupid creatures." Grendile almost tripped foreword taking another step. He felt very lightheaded and dizzy from using the last spell."

Lilya nodded, "We might as well just leave, we don't want to be eaten by anything." She looked at the dead snake with disgust, "If there is anything else worse than that, I'm sure that we don't want to mess with it." Though, I'm sure I can handle it. She thought stubbornly as the escorted Grendile out of the manshion and back to their camp, the hunter's moon was now above them, "Midnight." She muttered, "We still have a long time to sleep, so Grendile will obviously will be well in the morning." She shuddered, hating being under the red glare of the hunter's moon, it seemed to follow her.
