Baltor stood under a tree trying to stay away from the rain. He neighed in an anoyed fashion and snorted every time a drop of rain felll on his snout from the tree.
Grendile continued flying, hoping shore was close by. He hated being alone, even worse he might be getting himself lost. He looked at the sky, the stars were now visible, but just faintly through the storm clouds.
Brench saw that Ferru was in front of them now, maybe he and his master could slip away to warn the others. He tugged his master's arm, urging him to fallow. They began sneaking away, but Thern stepped on a branch, probably making them heard by Ferru. Brench continued urging his master foreward, they had to get away.
Hina trotted off into the forest and flopped into some grass. He rolled around for a moment until he made himself comfortable. He let his heavy, drooping eyelids close to get a little sleep.
Zonan sighed. "Oh, it was nothing. Just a weird dream." He muttered and looked at the darkened sky.
Jewels managed to sit up on Sorian and wave down to Lilya. She faced forward again. "So, where are we going to land again?" She asked, looking into the darkness of the night. She yawned and crossed her legs, hanging onto the Bird-person's neck feathers gently. She again began to wonder what it would be like in Sharquee.
Â
Hokey squealed and ran in circles, flailing his skinny arms. His entire body was covered in sand.
Xina sighed and sat next to him, "You can always tell me," she had said in a kind tone.
Farren dropped her bird on the ground and laid near it, biting into it and eating the burnt meat. She licked her lips when she was finished and pushed the bones aside. She erke up and ran into the forest again to hunt more animals.Â
Lilya glared at Jewels, "Why isn't she coming down?" She asked herself angirly. "Where does she think she's going exactly? SHe's going to die on her own!"
Sorian suddenly noticed Lilya on the ground and stalled in flight, nearly throwing Jewels off. It was a suprise to her to find someone else going to same direction as them, especially these people she wasn't sure if she wanted to see again. Things always seemed to get horribly violent when they were around. "Should we..land? Or no?" She inquired nervously. Sorian had picked up that Jewels wanted to go to Sharquee- Which was definitely not her intended destination.Â
Cacatua glanced at Catrin and then at the sky. "Oh... Okay then, I'll find some soup somehwere else I guess.. I'm Cacatua by the way."Â
Â
Grendile knew keeping at this pace would take too long, he used a wind spell to try and help him fly faster, after awhile he had reached the shoreline, there was still a lot of flying to do though.
Catrin spoke in a kind voice, figuring Cacatua could do no harm to her, "Well it's nice to meet you." looked around worried, "You haven't happen to see a black squirrel around here have you?"
Oscar had been near Dimitri the whole time, Dimitri landed by the shore. He flew away from Dimitri to look around a bit, he had ran into a black squirrel, the same one from the temple. He looked at the squirrel confused, wondering what it was doing here.
Zonan sighed and stood up. "It's nothing. Really." He walked out near the beach and looked up at the large moon.
Â
Jewels looked down at Lilya with a glare. "No, keep going. It's not like they care or need us anyway." She turned to look back and rolled her eyes seeing Lilya was saying something. She pulled out her gun and aimed right next to Lilya's feet. She pulled the trigger, then turned around again.
Hina was startled by the gunshot and ran over to Lilya. He sniffed at her feet and suddenly grew very jumpy. He knew that that bullet was Jewels'. He barked loudly and howled.
Xina sighed heavily and looked at the ground. She took out her book and started to write more, summoning a small flame for light.
Hokey screeched when he heard a gunshot and started to roll in the sand again.
Lilya glared at Jewels and scowled. "What was that for you moron!" She really hoped that she heard her.
Jason perked up at the sound of a gunshot and raised his head. "What's going on.." He dragged himself up, staggering a bit while he tried to walk to investigate the noise.Â
Farren padded out of the forest holding two rabbits in her jaws, she felt pleased with herself.
Sorian lost control of her wings for a moment, from the shock of hearing a gun going off so close and damaging her sensitive hearing. She plummeted toward the ground, dragged down a bit by the extra weight on her back. However she managed to pull back into the air at the last second. "That... Was very close..." She breathed with a slight shudder in her voice. "Don't...do that again... alright? Guns... hurt my head.." Sorian flew higher, passing over Lilya and quickly losing sight of her. "Well... Now that that's over with... we can continue on to the sea, yes?" She flapped her wings hard and started off in what she hoped was the opposite direction from Sharquee, over the churning and frothing ocean.Â
Cacatua pondered for a moment. "No.. I don't believe I have... Â I'll keep an eye out though." She hoped Sorian hadn't eaten him on accident.Â
Catrin thought about her squirrel disapointedely, "Oh... okay." She wondered where her squirrel had run off to. "Thanks anyway. It seems your friends have left you here."
Grendile continue to fly, exhausted from using so many spells to help him speed up. At least the temple was only a couple more miles.
Errala knocked the crab off her tail and looked at Hokey who seemed to be panicking while rolling in the sand. She looked at Jewels and Sorian who were in the air.
Jewels sighed and kicked and Sorians sides gently. "I've changed my mind. Lets go down there. It would be better to have backup anyway." She muttered, trying not to sound weak. When they reached the ground, she hopped off of the bird. She walked over to the others with a confident strut. "Ello' everybody. What'd we miss?" She put her hands on her hips.
Zonan looked up and saw the Owl woman slowly descend upon the island.
Hina barked happily when he saw Jewels coming closer and closer to them. He ran around, managing to knock Lilya, Zonan, and Jason over.
Â
Sorian trembled and stood silently watching the group gathered nearby, hoping they would remain peaceful for once. She didn't want to be here- She wasn't sure how she had agreed to land in the first place. She gagged as the stench of a rotting carcass with pureed fish heads reached her nostrils, no doubt coming from that creeper zonan. She took a few steps back into the darkness of the forest, considering her escape options if someone got violent.Â
"Well.. Yes... I never know where my erm, friends are. They always seem to dissapear on me." Cacatua said with a twinge of sadness.Â
Baltor stood by Allison who seemed to be all alone, he looked at the others, then back at Allison, nuzzling her hand.
Catrin could tell Cacatua sounded a bit upset, "That doesn't sound a lot like friends to me. So none of them even tried to stay with you?"
Grendile landed within a mile of the temple, he colapsed on the ground, his arms and legs were sore, it would be awhile until he could move, or until anyone found him. He decided to rest a few minutes.
"No..I suppose not. I don't even think I have any real friends, other than Sorian but I have no clue where that crazy owl lady has run off to again." Cacatua replied.Â
Sidra heard a noise and peered past the remains of some kind of massive statue, into the distance. There was someone or something out there- She could just barely see them. She called to Tenebris and Lux, but they were busy peeling off the sparkling remanents of jewelry that adorned the temple. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â "Ugh, I'll just go by myself then. Thanks for the help." Sidra grumbled before setting off toward whatever was nearby.Â
Grendile layed down on the ground, under an area the sunlight hit. He had to rest before moving any further. He closed his eyes in hope of falling asleep. Grendile heard a nearby twig snap and he looked around, snarling, the saw a rabbit jump out of a nearby bush and walked by. He closed his eyes annoyed, hoping that now he'd get some sleep.
The setting is on the continent of Carnon. Carnon is a huge land with many cities and different climates. Covering the land are series of species of mythical creatures, animals, and humans. It is said that under the city are underground caverns...

But, some say that the secret entrance to the underground caverns, is in one of the shops... but no one really knows.
Kolnco: The Gem of the Coast. Thats what the people call Kolnco. Its a beautiful place for vacation, retirement, or just living. The beaches are the best on Carnon and the people are friendly and kind. It's famous for it's yearly 'Fish Feast. Carnon City: The largest City on Carnon. Everyone who's anyone lives here. The people here are normally very very rich. But the crime rate has gone up, and the people hid to protect themselves, and their money.
South Banks Megalopolis: A huge city on the river of Ja where the crime rate is large and the death toll is also large. Many sweepers come here to earn huge bounties but are often killed in the process. Only the most elite can come here and earn the bounty.
" A sweeper only needs a genuine desire to help..."
This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.
A person has gone missing and there is a very large bounty for whoever finds him. The only problem is: it's like he disappeared from the face of the Earth! No one can find him, for he is expert at hiding, and now the two sides of Bounty Hunters feud, which doesn't help find this person any faster. Evil Bounty Hunters will kill anyone that gets in their way, as good bounty hunters only kill to cover their bare necessities.
