((xD I wasn't even online when you posted, I had to go into town for a couple hours so no problem with the posting late here.))
Olari looked down let his hand hang there lingering for a moment, before she took it in her own and shook it "It's nice to meet you ... Rider Daniels. And again I offer my congratulations on the win." and with that she let go of his hand. Olari studdied him for a moment before saying anything. "So, did you move here from close by? Or was it farther out from here? I don't recall ever seeing you before now." she asked, it probably sounded a little nosy but figured it would make a conversation.
Rider laughed, "No, I lived pretty far away." he said recalling the days when he didn't have to hide and could just live his life. "I actually lived in a volcano for a few years, then my parents sent me to a Mystic camp in the desert." he said remebering the sweltering heat of the desert. Rider ruffled his dark hair, "So, where did you live before you came here?" he asked curiously.Â
Olari looked at him curiously A volcano... well that explains why I haven't ever seen him, even if we did come from the same area. she thought before answering his question "Uh, I came from where we didn't have volcanos." she said with a smile "No, It wasn't to far from here, a few hundered miles I guess, it was baren like this, only not as dry, we had lots of lakes and rivers. I lived in a farm house on a river with fields and trees around us, always sunny there and usually clear nights where you could see the stars and moon perfectly." She cut herself off realizing she was jabbering on aimlessly, the memories she had of where she used to live were still as though she had just seen it, and she missed it a lot. If she hadn't of caught herself she would have just kept going on and on.
Rider smiled at Olari, "Wow, that sounds amazing, my parents never let me stay anywhere where it doesn't get up to at least 99 degrees." said Rider, wishing he could have lived in such a beautiful place as Olari did, "They think that is I don't get enough heat I'll die." he said sadly, as he thought about his heat resistance, "Though its possible for me to shape shift so I can tolerate different temperatures." he said thinking.
Just then a siren started wailing and the gym teacher had them all get in single file and load up into emergancy vans. Code Blue! Code Blue Security Breach! Evacuate Immediately!! Deep inside the school, miners ahd uncovered one of the doorms while minning, and now everyone was being evacuated to evade capture. Luckilliy the person wan't in their door at the time.
Caught off guard, Rider grabbed Olari's hand and ran to one of the vans and helped her inside, "Oh my gosh, I hope everyone makes it out before any scientists or people come." he said with a slightly worried expression.
It all was happening so fast, the shouting and screaming, everyone in a mad panic, amid all the scrambling all Olari was able to here was A miner found a dorm!! her face flushed white and was practically frozen until Rider grabbed her hand and took off running for the vans. She ran a long side of him keeping next to him as she moved, once she was in the van her lip quivered slightly out of feer. She looked at him as he spoke but all she could do was nod, she had the same expression on her face as he did, her face now regaining its color.
Xeno's face was pale, and he was silent. He grabbed his stuff, which he was still carrying around, and dashed towards the vans, moving much faster than he could under normal circumstances. He quietly prayed thanks that he hadn't gotten a room yet, and that he was still lugging around his stuff. He sat on his pack, knowing that there were plenty of things he could be doing with his luggage, but doing none of them, not even thinking. As he sat there, silent, anyone watching would be able to see Xeno's face become a year or so younger, a by-product of fear. Also, if he was standing instead of sitting, they would notice him shrinking an inch or two in height.Â
When Sapphire got on the bus she was exhasted. She sat down by a boy wearing a bandana. She started to rub her hands on her jeans; thats wat she does when shes nervous. The bus had started running and all around her people were panicking. All of a sudden she felt her legs stiff up. when she looked down she saw that she had fozen her legs solid. "Man i got to get it together," she muttered.
(sorry that i havent posted in a long time but whenever i tried to post it said i didnt have a character. Its working now though)
Rider, who was totally freaking out inside, saw Olari's worried expression. As an instinct he always tried to make others feel better, Rider smiled calmly, "Well, at least now we don't have to do any of our homework!" he said with a small chuckle. The driver of the van pulled out a microphone and spoke into it, "Attention! Attention all students and faculty, this is the Junior and Senior van, if you are not a junior or senior please let me know so I can take you to the proper destination. This van is headed to the Warrener House on the coast, all freshmen should be headed to the Rodfling house so please raise your hand if you don't belong in this van." she said slightly panicked. Luckilly the van only had Juniors, Seniors an a few falculty members, so everything was in order. (I was thinking that they all could be in the same van or something) Rider smiled, forgetting the reason they were in the van, "Hear that Olari! Were going to the beach!" he said.
Olari let herself give off a small smile at his 'no homework' remark. Once the driver came on over the speakers, she was listening closely, saying only juniors and seniors made her freak out a little, she had nearly forgotten which grade she was in, but it soon came back to her.  The meantion of the coast, she looked over at him, and with Rider adding meantion of the beach, made her smile widen even more. She wasn't expecting that to be the place they were going, she figured it would be another underground hidden area. Now she actually had something to look forward to for the ride in the van.
Xeno, his stature back to normal, raised his hand, being neither seinor or junior, or even a freshmen for that matter. The driver had afaculty memebr take him to the correct van. Xeno hauled his stuff behind hind him, and got out of the van. The faculty member went to another van, got inside, argued for abit, and got out, scratching his head. Thsi was repeated several times, until, shrugging, the faculty member took him back to the Juinor and Senior van, confused. Xeno lingered outside for a moment, before the faculty memebr came back out and said "Sorry, but we aren't actually required to protect you." got back into the van, and shut the doors. Xeno blinked for a few moments, and as the car started up, he decided that he wouldn't be left behind. He lugged his stuff around to the back, rusted off the lock, and climbed in the trunk.
A grin appered on her face when she noticed that they were going to the beach. "Great, i love the beach!", she said loudly. Lots of people turned to stare and the person sitting next to her gave her a look that said This is not a time to be ecited. She quickly quieted down and looked around. Xander, Olari, and Rider were all on the same bus. She started to get something to do on the ride when she noticed that her legs were still frozen. She called to Rider, "Hey, can you unfreeze my legs", she said it with lots of worry.
Rider chuckled at Saphire's frozen legs, "Sure!" he said hoping from seat to seat, until he was in front of her. The driver of the van gave him a dirty look, "Please stay in one seat sir!" she said sternly. Rider nodded as he melted Sapphire's frozen legs, "There you go." he said with a kind smile, and hopped back to his seat, the driver became agitated once more, "Please sit down young man!" she shouted. "Yes ma'm, sorry ma'm!" Rider replied, stifling a laugh, and trying his best not to smile.
((Jeez, even my real life bus driver is not that touchy about hopping between seats... then again we never really do it infront of her either lol))
Olari smirked when she saw all the dirty looks that Sapphire was getting about going to the beach, she was excited about it to, all that water! She glanced up at the outraged driver, and gave a her a funny look when she wasn't looking. Olari glanced down at the puddle next to Sapphires feet where the ice had melted, and out of bordom, pulled it closer to her, lifting a piece of it into the air and let it hover above her hand, as she shaped it into a bubble, then into what looked like flowers.  After all there was nothing wrong with practicing your powers around fellow Mystics and in the safty of the van right?
