Xeno heard the teacher slip up.  This was his chance.  He raised his hand, flailing it wildly.  When the teacher pretended not to notice, another person raised their hand quietly and calmly, and when the teacher called on them, they said "He has a question." and pointed to Xeno.  The teacher called on Xeno, and Xeno knew he would have to work fast, so quickly he blurted out "You made a mistake.  Dirofilaria immitis, the heartworm, are not Plathelminthes, or flatworms, but they are actually Nematodes, or roundworms, not to be confused with Ringworm, a fungal iinfection." The teacher was about to tell Xeno how wrong he was, when Xeno pointed to the text book the teacher was reading from.  The teacher looked down, mumbled to himself, and turned red with anger, realizing he had misread.  Xeno then finished up with "Just didn't want you to spread any false information, confusing my peers.  I'm a nice person I am."

Rider and his friends grined and snickered at the teacher. "Nice one lil' dude!" he said to Xeno as he fist bumped his best friend Dex who was a frost giant. The teacher glared at him and his then continued to write on the blackboard. "Your howework is to read and answer the questions on page 105." said the teacher clearly anoyyed. The class groaned as the teacher wrote test next friday up in the corner of the chalk board.

(Sooo, what else should we do today besides go outside? Any ideas?)

Olari hid a smirk from the teachers slip up as her gaze lowered to her notebook as she wrote down the assignment, then her pencil lead broke oh well that figures... she thought quietly, she glanced around the room before she motioned her hand a little gathering a couple drops of water that were dripping from the walls, very carefuly she let the drip onto her pencil in which she put the lead back in and she froze the lead back in place just long enough so she was able to finish writing down the assignment page, then the ice broke again.

"I can freeze things with my mind and hands," she whispered quietly but not quiet enough bacause the teacher turned around and gave her a look. She slumped down in her seat and and whispered so softly she didnt even think Olari could hear her. "Why do we even need to learn about parisetic worms, let alone look them?! Anyways whats your power?" She really wanted to get out of class; it was soooo boring. In gym she hoped that they wouldn't go outside. She really didnt want to feel the rays of sun. All she wanted to do was lock herself in a freezer and never come out.

Olari looked over at her "Cool, I can control liquids. make them take different forms and shapes, boil, freeze, really almost anything with them from whats in my abilities that I know of." she answered back after the teacher had turned his attention away from them then she added quietly "I don't want to learn about these worm things either, there is no point in it from my point of view at least." except for when the teacher messes up and a student corrects them she thought quietly with a hidden grin and small quiet giggle at her own thoughts but quickly shut up once she got a stern look from him.

Xeno raised his hand again, and when he was called on he asked "Is that all, or is there more? Because usually, teachers give assignements at the end of class." Just when the teacher was about to reply, the bell rang.  Xeno grinned, glad about having timed that perfectly.  As Xeno repacked his backpack, the teacher glared at him.  Xeno sped out the door, wanting to avoid the rush.  He took out his map, and brought it back in time to decrease wrinkles, and looked where he was going next.  Gym.  Good thing Xeno had been able to convince them to let him out of gym since he was small compared to the others.  ((At lunch, they should eat blind cavefish and mushrooms.))

When Sapphire got to gym class the teacher anounced that they were going outside. She groaned. She didn't want to go outside. As she looked around at her class she noticed that Xeno and Olari were in her class. Great. Now I have to hear how ice isn't better than changing time and objects. As she looks around, she notices a boy that keeps showing off by breathing fire. She goes over to him and takes a closer look. She asks, "what are you doing?" as the class moves to go outside. While waiting for his answer, she thinks: How it would be so good if i could just be back in New York where it was cool and not so hot.

Olari grinned, she was thrilled to go outside and get fresh air, it was so dark and dingy down there, she itched excitedly from where she was standing, she didn't mind if it was hot up above, anything just to see the sunshine again.  She looked over towards Sapphire and a smile had spread across her face noticing the boy playing with fire again, this was her chance to do what she wanted to before, when the gym teacher wasn't looking her way she shot a small yet steady stream of water at the fire ball making it sizzle and steam.

Xeno was near the back of the group, reading some sci-fi book.  He really was lucky.  This way, he could watch and make fun of, and maybe even correct, excersizing people, and he didn't even have to exercise.  He also got to go outside, without even running.  Xeno hadn't ran since the hunter for the labratory had stole into his room, when he woke Xeno up investigating the surprising new-ness of Xeno's possesions.  Xeno had ran at his parants door, woke them up screaming, and then went to wake up his siblings.  With their mystic powers, they managed to overpower him, and stated to collect possesions for the life underground.  Meaning Xeno hadn't ran for months, and he wasn't about to start now.

Rider, who almost never gets upset, just smiled at Olari "Cool power." he said as his friends nodded and followed him outside. Rider smiled and stared directly at the sun. He then trotted to a large boulder it was burning hot to the touch, but Rider just climbed up ontop of it and layed down. With his arms behind his head, Rider lay there soaking up the sun, his tanned skin baking, turning a golden orange color as it radiated heat. He smiled and closed his eyes loving the warm rays of sunshine, and the smouldering heat of the rock beneath him.

As the boy went over to the rock, enjoying the heat, Sapphire wanted to stay in the cool air conditioning of the school. She steped out into the sun and waited for her eyes to adjust. When she could see again, she looked around and then headed towards a big oak tree. She sat down and tried to concintrate on keeping herself cool. If I were back in New York, my skin wouldn't be loosing this much moisture and I would be able to play outside without having to almost faint. She looked around. The boy that was breathing fire was still lying down on the rock. If he can stay in the sun and on that hot rock all this time he must have lived in a volcano. All she could do now was wait for gym to be over so she could go inside.

Olari smiled a thanks to Rider before walking out into the sunlight, it was so warm and bright, and the air smelt clean!  She took in a deep breath as she leaned her head back letting the sun onto her face before letting out a satisfied sigh of contentment.  The ground around them seemed rather dry and there was a on the verge of shriviling up flower in the shade "Poor thing..." she mumbled and she gathered some droplets of water from the air and let it slowly flow down onto the flower before stepping back out into the sunshine again and taking in another satisfyed breath of clean air, she was raised out in an area like this and it reminded her of home and the things she had left behind to live underground.  Shaking the thoughts from her head she sat next to the flower she had just watered, the only part of herself she allowed in the shade was her face, to keep the sun out of her eyes.

Smiling, Rider stood up and back flipped of the rock, he then trotted over to the track, where the gym teacher was supervising a race. Rider stood at the line and bent down, ready to run as soon as the gun went off. "On your mark ....... Get Set ....... Goooooo!" shouted the gym teacher as the students sprinted down the track. Rider jogged instead of running full out, then when the others started to slowly tire out he sprinted across the finish line. Rider smiled, triumphantly celebrating his win. He shook hands with the others and said good job, Rider was a good sport.

Olari was watching the race as the gun went off from afar.  As the race was coming to an end she stood up from the spot she was sitting in, and walked over towards the track with a small smile spread across her face, getting there just in time to see Rider crossing the finish line infront of the tired out group of racers trailing behind him.  Once he had finished congratulating the other racers, Olari walked up to him "Congratulations on the win..." she said flashing a smile, she would have said his name but realized she had no idea who he was, so she heald out her hand "I'm Olari." She said deciding to introduce herself.

Rider smiled, "Thanks, I'm Rider, Rider Daniels." he said holding out his hand.

A high school just below California for kids with special powers.

You are a character who goes to shcool underground. This school is specialy made for people with magical powers called Mystics. You and your friends are struggling to make it because dagerous stuff is happening.

For generations Mystics were being killed for research so they set a place underground.
