Ghost watched as Rose took a pen out of her pocket and sighed some papers, she then had an idea to help her, she came over and grabbed the papers again and took off, once she got close to the town she changed herself into a pure black Raptor, she then slowly walked out of the forest, keeping to the shadows, she wandered around a bit, trying to find where Alex lived. She caught the scent and followed it, she stopped in front of a apartment, she slowly and cautiously walked to the door with Alex's scent on it, she then dropp the papers and somehow slid them under the door, she then quickly booked it out of there before she was caught, she ran until she came to the place where Rose and Storm were, she gave a low roar and then saw something, she reconized what it was...It was a man from that group she escaped from, and he wasn't alone, she roared and dashed over, grabbing the man and tossing him a little ways away so Rose would see, she was attacked by another Raptor, though this one was a Utahraptor instead of Velociraptor, she fought with it and drove it away, she turned her head to see Rose knock a agent out and Storm drove a few others out "We have to move" Rose stated to them.

Alex picked up the paperwork and submitted it to the proper authorities... Then she took a nap... When she wasn't working she was sleeping or chasing that pair of griffins off her property. She was still exhausted. The police had banned them from her property but it didn't work. She kept doing it... She actually missed the struggle that girl was going through. She was still concerned for Nightshade she hadn't found a job yet and she sort of needed to and so did Jonah. Something to keep them out of trouble... The general seemed to go out of his way to make Alex happy and he from the days in the lab knew the extent of her powers and seemed to consider her a precious jewel for some odd reason. If the people in the lab out there found out they would easily exploit her. She had willingly used her powers for the general time and again and he had been mindful of her limits... If she could spend a few days in dragon form she'd recover much faster and she knew it. She kept resting and taking things easier... If they went about a hundred miles south that group could find packs of raptors and dire wolves and it would be hard but Miss Rose could probably find a quiet job that didn't cause her to stick out.

Rose jumped as she heard a stick crack "Let's go go go!" she yelled at the Dire wolf and Raptor, she took off with the two creatures, she slowed down when she felt they were safe and rested "Well...What do we do now?" she asked them, Storm curled up in a ball and snorted, Ghost got up and dashed off "Okay.." she said slowly. She saw Ghost come back with several hares "Thanks Ghost" she said giving two to Storm and three to Ghost, keeping the one to herself, Ghost reconized that Rose couldn't eat the raw meat so she snatched it from her hands and ate it, then Ghost took off again, Rose sat down next to Storm and started petting her, after a bit Ghost came back with a few pieces of cooked chicken "Did you swipe this from the town?" Rose asked her and Ghost made a sound of agreement "Okay" she muttered, Rose ate the chicken "But don't think I liked eating stolen food" she said, pointing to Ghost. Ghost just plopped down, Rose came over and sat down with Ghost, leaning on the Raptor's side, then Storm got up and stretched out in front of Rose. Ghost and Storm making a circle around Rose.

Maiko was actually learning to conjure an illusion from Chikako when there was a ruckus at the diner apparently a raptor had been in the garbage and took a piece of chicken... That dang dumpster was bear resistant but raptor proof? Apparently not. Alex was out of commission and just able to function as is and it was asked around that someone stand in for her at the bed and breakfast and Maiko decided to give it a try. Well just the cooking... The griffins were causing problems and pretty banged up at this point from Nightling clawing them to heck and back... Currently they were in jail for trespassing yet again. She made breakfast and the general was not a fan of it and Maiko was surprised to see him there but she actually listened to him... He had some history with Alex and was a valued customer. He gave her a rule only military members could make a request unless they were cancer paitents or it was for a birthday muffin flavor. People were checking out and the staff managed it... Three young witches who were not afraid to use magic on the job to get work done faster... Alex was passed out on her bed and her life force was weak remaining in a human form was actually a drain for most and she was attempting to recover in her room in human form only to switch in her sleep she'd recover much faster now...

Storm woke up hungry, she looked at Ghost and Rose, then she got up and stretched, she quickly set off hunting but didn't find anything, she knew she had to go into town which she was not happy about, she grumbled to herself and trotted towards town. She stopped at the edge, seriously reconsidering her idea, she decided to go anyways, she smelled Ghost's scent and followed it, she found a dumpster 'I'm not going around in that like a dog. And my owner ate something from the dumpster' she thought, she crawled over to the back door and nudged it open, she slowly crawled in and pushed herself up slightly, she looked around the diner's kitchen area, she didn't see anyone in the area at the moment so she walked over, she raised her head and snatched some chicken off a plate, then she heard someone coming and tried to get out, she made a bit of noise and she nearly ripped the hinges of the door off as she jumped for it, she then tore into the forest, knowing she was in trouble for that little stunt. She came back to find Ghost awake but Rose asleep, she curled up in a ball.

Again the diner was raided and Fae was not happy the phoenix followed back to the group and saw basically a starving trio and she slapped a job application down without waking them up before flying off in a huff... Unlike a hybrid phoenix her avian form was not flaming unless it was time for the burn... She was basically a swan sized long necked parrot beak meant to go into bark and strike at the aromatic gums and crunch through spices and other phoenix delights... She was guilty of succeeding at the cinnamon challenge without any ill effects... She crunched through whole cinnamon sticks all the time. She was regaling this tale to Maiko who was drinking tea and Fae knew the general as did Chikako... The only member of the council who didn't know this general personally was the police chief. Maiko was just drinking tea and not using the 'good china' as the maids put it... Alex lived in one of the two deluxe suites in the bed and breakfast... It was a convinient arrangement but Alex was having an actual house built for herself. She was getting sick of people trying to buy her out of her own living quarters...

Nightshade walked into the forest and shifted into her dragon form, she launched up into the air, enjoying being in the sky again, she began doing complex tricks, some of them resembling Celtic patterns, she was doing those for a while before she stopped and landed, she had hunted something a little while ago so she was fine for a while, she stretched her body out and looked around curiously. It had been a while since she was in the forest so she was wondering what happened, she heard that a diner had been raided twice, once by a Raptor and the other by a mystery animal, she had passed by and smelled the scent of Dire wolf so she was wondering why the two creatures are in the area, it was typical for a Raptor but Dire wolves...They are like regual wolves, too shy to go up and swipe something...Typically, some wolves will do that if they are in great need of food. Both of them also had the scent of a human on them so they might be trying to keep themselves and a human alive, Nightshade shook her head to clear the thoughts and flew into the air again.

Maiko had an irate Alex to deal with in the morning... She was cranky and hungry as per usual when she woke up like that... Alex made the breakfast a protien and carb packed one eggs three different ways bacon both turkey and pork and hash browns and toast chocolate chip muffins and the usual vegan option of a fruit salad. She did not mess around with soy and substitutes. Unless she had a legit allergy to consider... Maiko watched the fiend in the kitchen and served it out to guests including the general who just ate it boot camp style... He knew not to mess with Alex until she was good and fed. Maiko immediately made the mistake and got a "Cranky and hungry thank you for the assistance but go away... I'll pay you for your time later..." Maiko realized the food was delicious and the general sat her down at the table with them and said "I've known this dragon woman since I was a petty officer. She doesn't mean to be mean." Maiko said "She did say cranky and hungry." That got an actual feral growl. Both of them shut up and ate... One of the maids betty was collecting dishes from the scientists studying the sabertooths... She was going to magic those dishes clean most likely but Alex said "Either use the dishwasher or wash by hand... I can't verify magically cleaned dishes are safe to eat off. You know that. If you use magic to push the buttons on the dishwasher that's fine." Betty said "You're in a bad mood..." Alex growled and she scrammed...

Rose woke up and saw that Ghost was away doing something and Storm was sitting, watching the area "Hi girl" she sais, Storm looked at her and came over, Rose looked around and swiftly climbed a tree, she saw a green and white form coming over, seconds later Ghost ran to where they are "Hi Ghost!" she called down and Ghost looked at up her, she gave a chirp sound. Rose whistled in response and climbed down, she ran her hand over Ghost's smooth scales, Storm nudged Rose and looked off in the distance, in the direction of the town "You want me to go in the town?" she asked and Storm barked in response "Okay..." she muttered as she started walking. Rose stopped at the edge of the forest "Ghost and Storm, stay HERE" she said, then slowly started walking into the town, she turned and saw Ghost watching her, she made a motion to Ghost to get in the forest or make herself less....Visible, Ghost just ignored and Rose sighed, she looked around, it was a nice town, she was extremly tense though, because she knew a spy or assassin could be in the people, she walkd around thinking of pleasant things to try and calm down. She stopped in front of a diner and did a few breathing exercises to calm herself down.

Maiko went home to an irate brother and she had a fat pay check... Nightling was asleep on a big bear skin rug pile on the floor in her suite... Fed and happy... Maiko realized the general had his own motives but had found that working with the community got much better results... The annual paintball game was about to go down when the whole town would close for a day and run wild with paintball guns... Kids too young were either kept home or put in different colored protective gear and if you didn't want to play stay home. Alex hadn't been the one to come up with the idea it was the police chief as a way to blow off steam and air grievences in a splatter and Maiko bought her protective gear and paintball gun if you could not afford it protective gear was on loan. It was absolute mayhem and everything was covered in tarps... Alex would be awake for this and it was glorious. No firing indoors, no shooting at anyone without protective gear, if somebody like an officer is in uniform they are working and do not shoot them or use them for cover... There was a section of town designated for it. Shinji wanted to see if foam things covered in paint would be valid for absolute mayhem. The police chief was open to the idea... He was happy with it. Mayhem would ensue...

Rose had been walking around town when she heard of a paintball match, she had never tried it before...But it might be fun, although she didn't know if Storm and Ghost would go crazy on someone because...Well paintball is pretty much shooting each other with balls with paint inside them, so she had that to consider, she had enough money but no where to clean off...She'll have to think about it. Rose walked out of the town and into the forest again, she was greeted by a happy Raptor and a happy Dire wolf, she glanced back and could have sworn there was someone looking at where she entered the forest but she wasn't sure, Ghost sniffed the air and looked around "What is it?" Rose asked, Ghost just nudged her to move, she started walking with Ghost trailing and Storm walking to her left side, she didn't know if there was a threat or not, Ghost came after them shortly like nothing had happened so Rose knew there wasn't anything that was a threat now. The group she was in was looking for all three of them, she was an agent of them, Storm a kind of member? And Ghost an experiment of them so of course they would be trying to get them back.

The next morning Alex had her gear on and was loading her paintball gun. The general saw her sitting over breakfast wearing everything but the helmet and a frilly apron that looked rediculous He started laughing and the witches who did the maid work were wearing theirs each with at least one execution shot paintball to the back of the head from years gone past it was a free for all. Alex was mostly unmarked and when she rolled into town she saw the foam sword... She snickered at that and knew he was going to get so dang clobbered. Cardboard boxes and other things were placed as cover in the streets and everyone had ten minutes to prepare... Alex got up high on a building being comfortable in high places to rain down the paint balls... She'd vanished from sight and had the other people who were on the fire escape doing much of what she did as her first targets... She stayed low and under cover coiled and ready for action... This was going to be great... No teams were allowed and the police chief was hiding in a box somewhere or more likely under a box ready to poke out and get people in the feet again. Alex had a front roof seat to that particular escapade... Alex used neon purple paintball pellets and she was waiting for the flare to indicate the start...

Storm watched this from a distance, she didn't know if her owner was going to join, she doubted it, she might do something....But it was very uncertain, she went over to a Piece of tarp and sniffed it, it had a odd scent to her, she was cautious of the match starting since she could easily get shot by a paintball, she raised her head and saw her owner walking towards her. Storm looked at the positions some of the people were in "Hey girl" she heard Rose say "What are you doing here?" Rose asked, Storm huffed and looked at the people "Watching this?" and Storm gave a little nod of sorts, Rose shook her head, Storm looked around and nudged Rose towards a box for cover "Why are we staying?" Rose asked her, Storm just got behind her and gripped a piece of her shirt and tugged her back, Rose got the message and went over to the box "Wait....Won't this mean I'm going to be a target now?" Rose mumbled to herself as she sat behind the box, Storm sat beside the box to protect her owner, she looked at anyone who might approach her with a almost deadly glare.

Alex dropped the address for the bystander protective gear in a nose diving paper plane and there was some stuff that would fit the wolf too some people shifted and put paint on their paws during these events. Once the pair were covered. The flare went off and the cheer was a collection of roars howls shrieks and whoops... Alex blasted everyone on the fire escape first and it was a glorious two hours before the break of mayhem people running and yelling and shooting each other with paint ball guns. Samurai dude was shockingly clean and people had paint slashes all over them... Bystanders were untouched they were wearing white so they weren't targeted. It was lunch break and free food... This was a crazy custom but it worked and it coupled with fight club was a great way to curb frustrated magical creatures and breaking up the monotony of extremely long lives with fleeting moments of joy and chaos. Alex was sitting there eating her sandwich with the police chief who had shots on his back some of which she had inflicted. People kept going until they were tired of it... Alex finished her food and her water went to the bathroom and found another hiding spot in a box on another roof...

Rose enjoyed the match, Storm was looking like she was going to shake the paint off onto her, Storm had taken quite a few paintballs so she wouldn't get hit with them, Storm had fun too with tackling others, she had found some puddles of paint so she dipped her paws in them and well....Got a lot of people covered in it, she actually managed to dodged a few because of her training soo....Anyways she took a break and looked at the forest, seeing Ghost she made a gesture for her to go back in the forest, but Ghost didn't listen so she was waiting for someone to the white and green raptor that's standing on the edge of the forest. She had eaten a while ago so she was good, Rose decided to take cover, she walked around until she found a good place for her to hide, she slid underneath some boxes, which somehow made a crack big and long enough for her to slide under them. Ghost had hid behind the boxes by scooting them a little from the wall of a building, she liked to do this, almost like a training exercise without it being hardcore.

Suvival of the fittest, mythical animals and extinct creatures exist but no one knows about them.

Dragons, phoenixes, Griffions, werewolves, etc. can have a human form.

Your character can have limitless powers, but after 3 any other ones have to have a limit, like: Mind reading, the charcter can't read minds for long or both the mind reader and the other person will get a severe headache. Like that.
