Graystoke was ready to pass out of happiness. This was a third legendary spotted in a single day after 40 years of absence. What else was going to happen? "My word, Reshiram has appeared." Its low booming growls sent chills down the old trainer's spine. Hearing the Chatot next to him, he reached up and gave the old bird a pat. "Don't worry Chat, I'm sure we will be fine. As long as we can find that boat. Boys, I believe it is time to speed up our search and get to that boat as soon as possible. Keep up with me if you can, if not then meet me at the docks." Turning to Rune he dipped his head to him and asked, "Rune, if you don't mind?"

The Metagross already knew exactly what his trainer was thinking and had began to use Magnet Rise. Pulling his legs in, he rose off the gound and settleed into a hover. Then, his eyes began to glow and his skin shone as he used Rock Polish. Beside him, Raina was using Dragon Dance so that she would be able to keep up with Rune. Graystoke stepped onto the Metagross' flat top head and said, "Thank you old friend. I will see you there Gauge, Darren. Off we go!" With that the Metagross sped off with amazing speed, hovering across the ground and moving expertly to avoid people. It was an odd sight as Graystoke rode on Rune and the large dragon Raina kept pace at their side.

The Arcanine nodded and got up, he didn't follow Darren though as he ran to the station, the reason being was that he could sence the negativity towards him and felt hated. He started to turn away and walk off, following his instincts he knew what to do in the wild and weren't scared of it, he hunkered down to the ground, staying low and quiet. He curled up in a bush, still hidden in the shadows, he had used Heat Wave and warmed the area around him to keep warm, it was the only way of telling that he was there.

The trainer was surprised at the speed that Graystoke's pokemon took off with. He didn't think such large pokemon could move quite so fast. "Alright then, let's get going Gauge," he said to the other trainer. Smiling he turned to his pokemon and then noticed that Arcanine was missing. Running back to the field he found that the fire dog was still lying in the grass, though a little further off than last time. Crouching down next to Arcanine as he reached him, Darren patted him on the side and asked, "Hey buddy, you okay? It's time to get going, we gotta meet Graystoke at the docks."

'Yeah, get pu lazy bones and let's get moving! Don't be such a bump on a log like this mope over here,' Cel said as she poked Salem.

The Zoroark frowned and said, 'I told you, I'm not a mope, and I'm certainly not a bump on a log. In fact, I bet I could beat you in a race to the docks!'

'We'll just see about that,' Cel said with a smile.

Something in the pokemons' behavior didnt settle with him right, but he knew he couldnt stand idly by. He gave Tealeaf a pat. "C'mon, Tealeaf. Let's keep up."

"Bay.." he said in a low voice, his look contemplative. Quickly, however, he realized that Gauge started to run after the older trainer, and so he took off after his trainer, calling to him to ask him to slow down. His weight shifted on his four thick, stubby legs, not carrying him very fast but eventually he caught up, his leaf flowing behind him. The pack on his back was no problem for him either, and while they couldnt really keep up with Graystoke, they kept in the same direction.

Mienfoo had been ready to respond when a boom resonated through the area and a concussion wave almost completely knocked him off his feet. He stood his ground though, and stood back up straight as he was before. Though there was a slight tinge of fear now that he heard something go roaring off over his head, he would not show it. Even after riding along on Suicune's back he couldn't completely fathom the powers that these legendaries possessed. 'My size may be minute, but you should never judge one by their outward appearance. I know not of the true intentions of the legendaries, only that they aim to change the world. And I am willing to stay by their sides through this and play my part.'

It took more work this time to keep his voice firm, but he managed to do so. The realization of exactly how powerful these creatures were astuonded him to no end. But if he was to become a legend himself he had to show courage, and that is what the little fighter was going to do.

He shook his head briefly, ruffling his feathers out "Like Suicune,he is summening for war. No Cresselia will be able to help if Reshiram is fighting. She is strong, but if Suicune is truly heading towards Darkrai, that's three different legendaries, each strong, not to mention wild pokemons that surely will hear this call and join as asked to. And owned pokemon that breakfree from abusive owners" The old bird pokemon flapped his wings as he moved off from the man's shoulder as the Metagross made it's move.

Startled, he had never seen such move from the pokemon before, and the bird took a moment or five before he rejoined the man ontop of the Metagross.  He clicked his beak and lowered his hea again and gave a light whistling sound, still nervous.
Arcanine got up and took a breath and started to walk towards the smell of fish and salt using Odor Sleuth. He was still low to the ground, feeling hated and un-wanted as he sniffed around, following the scent from the harbour. He licked his lips slightly knowing that there was gonna be food at the harbour and kept going, but stopped when he found himself at the station but hesitently stepped out, running across the tracks and onto the platform, quickly walking towards the end to get out, not wanting to be seen, heard or yelled at by the humans who were on the train and platform when he kicked off.

Darkrai withstood the Legend taking off with relative ease, knowing Reshiram's power well.

He chuckled, the sound like a rustling of old papers. "I know that quite well, many of us are small in stature. You may remove your blindfold, child." He stepped around the small pokemon to look off in the distance. "Until you see our power and abilities we possess, there will be a sense of unknowing in you."

He walked toward the clearing, hoping the little pokemon would follow.

"We wish to change the world, but I fear that it wont be for the best. Humans these days are fearful of the power pokemon possess, and with our power in the forefront, we may just make people fear moreso. Suicune... Angel... they both hold a resentment toward people for reasons their own. ..I myself... well, I've never really encountered a kind person, so I am biased. However, I know something has to be done. We have been in hiding much too long, and need to take care of what the humans think of us. For many years, I've sat on this island contemplating what to do, and I still dont know..."

Angel traveled back without worry of what happened back in Sinnoh. He knew that the legendaries there would be safe, and he didnt worry about himself--he'd honed his powers long ago.

He swooped down over Unova, bellowing his call there. He knew that the region was ravaged and few pokemon remained there, but he had to try. It was his homeland, he had to return to the people. Finding a populated area, he alighted in a clearing he could take off from. Letting off a bellow that rocked the area, he gained the attention of all.

Few people chattered the word "Reshiram", knowing who he was, and it let his heart aflutter to know there were still people who knew who he was and what he'd done. Though he let off yet another bellow, he knew none of the humans would understand him.

As people started to surround him, he took off, swooping low before taking off at super sonic speeds, off to the other regions in the mainland to deliver his message.

The sight of the island in the not-so-far-off distance brought an eerie, uncomfortable silence over the typicially boisterous crew. When they had been this close the day before the weather had turned from sunny and pleasant to disastrous in mere moments. It had been enough to sober even the hardiest of sailors, which this crew certainly consisted of.

"Storm ahead!" Several sets of eyes flew up to the man on the top deck who had shouted. Shortly after those same eyes were turning out to sea and NewMoon Island... Or in the general direction, anyway. Presently the only part of the land mass visible was its dark silhouette, a mysterious, thick fog blotting out details. As they got closer the air sharpened, practically threatening to cut one's flesh with the steely chill it possessed.

A quiver of uncertainty ran through the crew on deck. It wasn't uncommon, Iris knew, for sailors to be terribly superstitious, so this happenstance could easily be interpreted as a bad omen by this lot. Considering this, she didn't find it all that surprising when she started to hear whisperings among the crew. No one was at ease, that much was obvious to everyone.

Being paranoid as it was, Iris jerked when a large hand plopped on her shoulder. Only upon discovering it was Charles did she calm down. "I'm sorry, Iris," He muttered, voice low to discourage eavesdroppers. "But the crew ain't willin' to get any closer. The lookout's pickin' up signs of a blizzard not too far inland from here." For a moment he was silent. "I can let you take one of the speedboats if you wanna keep goin', but that's the best I can do. Otherwise, we can take you back to the mainland an' drop you there. It's up to you."

Iris understood his concern for sure, but she shook her head. "If I go back now, what will become of the integrity of my word? I gave you my promise and I intend to keep it." Charles took pause and they exchanged a look. From that it was obvious; Iris knew well the dangers that could arise if this matter went unexplored and, in theory, happened to be veiling something far more sinister than a storm. Someone needed to take a look, and soon at that. "You get that boat ready and I'll be off."

A momentary lapse of words passed between them before Charles smirked and nodded. Iris would always be the same stubborn woman she had been since they first met; it's what made her so reliable. "Yes, ma'am."

A short while later the crew was deftly lowering the small speedboat into the choppy water. Though compact in comparison to the massive ship she was just aboard, the small vessel was plenty sizable to handle all of her pokemon and Iris herself if need-be. Yes, though old and retired, she did know better than to fly blind. No matter what awaited them, it was best to assume it to be potentially dangerous.

Locke lay curled in the plastic seat beside her, nose tucked into his paws and fur rippling in the northern wind as they sped off for the island. Somewhere in the water near the boat was Meridian, no doubt, showcasing her kind's ability to melt seamlessly into the water. Her duty would be to keep an eye out for trouble below the surface and stay hidden as a trump card in case they needed her.

Just overhead floated Riddle, resonating hums leaving her as a discordant tune. To Iris' naked eye this made no difference, particularly in the gale that swept the creature's voice away like dust, but she knew better than to doubt her ghoulish friend. Like all Mismagius, Riddle had very special songs to sing; songs to bring misery and misfortune, songs to bless others with utter delight, and some songs, like this one, to trick one's eyes in most devious ways. To the naked eye of those surrounding the small group, they would appear as nothing more than the fog that enveloped them. The only downside to such a gracious advantage would be that such hallucinations would only affect the eyes, leaving the quiet thrum of the boat's motor and their alien scents wide open for detecting. Fortunately, the blizzard they were engulfed in would do them good in masking both of those matters. Hopefully.

And last, but certainly not least, was Rouge. The noble, disfigured Volcarona flew only a few yards ahead of the small boat, wings aflame to light their way through the thickening weather. Anyone who had ever bore witness to a shining Volcarona would never be able to deny the legends of its replacing the sun in dire times, and this instance was no less remarkable an example than any other. Loyal and determined, the blazing insect labored on, a transluscent light screen surrounding it to protect from the worst of the biting ice storm swirling around them.

Not nervous, but certainly on edge, Iris pulled her hood around her face for protection of her own - Charles had been kind enough to see her off with a storm-worthy coat. Whereas she wasn't as talented or blatantly powerful as her old comrades, she certainly shared their determination to brave this storm, come hell or high water. And considering the circumstances, high water was far more likely.

Darren and his pokemon had followed Arcanine as he made his way to the harbor, making sure that they weren't getting too close to a crowd again which might set the fire dog off. Cel was getting restless however, as she saw the other trainers getting ahead of them.

'This is taking too long!' she bursted. 'Come on let's speed up! I know, I will race all of you, Darren, Salem, Arcanine, to the dock. And I bet I can beat all of you there starting now!' With that the psychic pokemon took off flying through the town in the direction that she had seen the others going, not waiting to see if the others were coming behind her.

'Well I am certainly not losing to her,' Salem said with a small growl. Bending down onto all fours, the Zoroark gave off a small cloud of dust as he sped off to catch up with Cel.

Darren shook his head and sighed, "They're at it again." Giving Arcanine a pat on the back he said, "Come on boy let's show them that they can't just leave us behind!" Smiling the trainer turned and began running himself to catch up with his pokemon. Though he doubted he would be able to, he wasn't about to give up simply because of that.

Mienfoo hesistated slightly at the thought of removing his blindfold. He was uncertain whether he should or not, just in case he accidentally looked the legendary in the eye and got stuck in a nightmare as Suicune had said. But, since it was Darkrai that told him he could, the little fighter figured that it should be okay for now. So he refastened the black belt farther up on his forhead and looked around at his surroundings for the first time. Slowly following the legend through his home towards a destination that was unknown to Mienfoo for now.

'A sense of unkowing huh?' he thought to himself. It was true, there was a bit of unknowing and uncertainty in him on the subject of the legendaries. While he had boldly stated that he was going to become one himself, it wasn't until he met Suicune that he truly began to realize what powers a legendary could possess. To think that he had the thought of taking down the ones in Unova now seemed somewhat foolish to him. Even with having trained himself since he could walk and mastering three different types of martial arts, would it compare to the prowess of the legends? There was a twinge of doubt and fear within his heart as the fact that his goal may not be attainable popped up. Scowling at himself for thinking such a thing, he pushed the thought away and uttered, 'No, I won't think that way. I don't care how long it takes, or how hard I have to work, no matter what I will achieve my goal.'

After this mental battle with himself, he listened inently to what Darkrai had to say about their plans. Pondering over it a bit he said, 'So you are trying to change their way of seeing then? I mean, you don't want to cause them more fear which they already see in pokemon and especially legendaries. You are trying to get them to see us in a friendly light again then? Like before the war. But why would you do such a thing for them if you hold resentment towards them? Would it not be easier to stay in hiding?' The little Mienfoo's thoughts were jumbled a bit at the moment, so he was simply trying to figure out what to think.

"Many of us, child, either got our legends protecting people, or creating the world for them. The heat wave you felt earlier? That was the legendary Reshiram, the White hero... If you know of the war, you know the story of Plasma. If not..."

He paused, folding his arms bahind his back as he stepped into the clearing.

"During the first time of Plasma's plans, they had succeeded in befriending Reshiram's Black half, Zekrom. Now,... no one knows whatever happened to Zekrom, not even Angel. However, back to the story..., in order to stop Zekrom and Plasma, Angel was called upon by a boy who had inadvertantly stopping Plasma's plans one at a time. Angel saw the heroics this boy had, the heart and soul it took to fight for what's right, and knew he had to help. In fact, Angel kept the name and trinket his beloved trainer had given him.

And they succeeded. Zekrom and Plasma were defeated. But... of course the story doesnt end there. Plasma rose up after Angel's hero died of old age and destroyed the world as they did. Angel... holds resentment that people would forget the deeds he performed for them, and wouldnt fight for themselves...

Suicune, on that matter, was wholly different. His story starts with being burned in a infamous fire, only to be revived by a beautiful phoenix named Ho-oh. People feared and loathed Ho-oh, trying to chase it from their land. Suicune himself was seeked to be captured for a lowly collector's possession..." He shook his head and kept his back to the small pokemon he spoke to. "He cannot see the good in human heart, especially after seeing the destruction that Plasma had done.

I... well, humans dislike me for the nightmares I bring. Always have, and even when I am found present without the presance of nightmares, I am shunned." He paused, moving to turn his glowing eyes to the Mienfoo. "What it is that I want is acceptance... Dont all pokemon..?
Suicune wants freedom from the people who harm pokemon.
Angel wants to gain a semblance of importance, long after his reign has died, to renew knowledge in humans of what we have done for them.

...To stay in hiding is to say we dont exist. To stay in hiding is to say that pokemon and humans do not have protectors--for that is what we are. Even for someone like me, played off the antagonist, I wish nothing more than happiness."

He unfolded his arms and took a seat on a rock in the middle of the clearing, folding his legs daintily. Folding his hands, he rested his chestpiece on his knuckles and looked to the Mienfoo as he continued to speak. "We gather pokemon to hear the stories they have to tell. We are gathering the other legends that can aide us in some way because they have had similar histories to the three of us. However, just because I have a different moral set and schemas than they do, doesnt make my way the way they will handle it. We do have to agree to one thing as a whole--that something must be done."

The trip to Kanto didnt take long for the old Legend, he soon delivering his speech there before flying over the silver mountains. He swooped particularly low over Johto, knowing that was where many of the human-harmed legends came from, hoping to contact Suicune's bretheren if they stayed there still.

He kept an eye on the land, hoping to see anything of interest.

Silas was furious with himself.  He hadn't counted on the legendaries power, and now it had conjured up a blizard with the intention to stop him...  Silas had a plan, but did he really want to put his pokemon through it?  His plan was simple, have Ling use his suction cups ability to stand in the wind, then have Maybe use Heatwave (Due to sketch, she had an unusual moveset) to keep them from freezing, and wait for Suicune to show up after it saw that they were still forging ahead, and then have Maybe lock it into battle with Mean look, but since it was a legendary, they probably wouldn't be able to battle it, really...  Silas sighed, and had Maybe use Heatwave anyway.  The wind was schorching hot, but it melted the ice and snow for a wide radius.  He went and told the captain to keep going, Silas hoped that they were close enough to wherever the legendary was going that they could still get there from the general direction.
Arcanine winked and grabbed Darren by his shirt and lifted him onto his back and used Extremespeed and caught up with the Zoroak and running past him, Darren still on his back. His head still on the ground sniffing while he still used Odor Sleuth, always adjusting his course as he got closer to the harbour. He went faster and faster, Cel soon in his sights as he paced himself, he began to ease up as his body began to tire and weaken and just before he caught up with Cel he slowed down to just a normal run.

"Well hopefully we won't have to fight. With Cresselia's help we may be able to get to the island and actually speak to Darkrai and the others. If they are moving then things are about to be put into motion. While I do not know whether this change they seem to be wanting to bring is good or bad, I know that it is gonig to happen. I have made it my goal in life to change history and the world for that matter, back to the way it was before team Plasma reared their good for nothing heads. That is why I am seeking out the legendaries. And I shall either achieve my goal, or die trying." The old man's mind was already made up on this matter and there was nothing that anyone could do to change his mind. Rune slowed down and stopped as they reached the docks and stopped to let his trainer off. Graystoke stepped off and Rune brought his legs back down onto the ground as Raina came to a halt next to them.

"And here we are. Now all we need to do is wait for the other trainers and then find one of these boats that happens to be going to Johto. Simple enough, eh Chat?"

Catch That?
Setting
You can be located in any of the five known regions, but try to pick a region in which others are playing so you arent travelling alone. Unova is the most desicrated area and Pokemon are highly scarce here. Sinnoh and Hoenn are least affected (since they're islands and not connected to the main land), but still quite devoid of life, while Kanto and Johto are in between.

Pokemon Centers and Marts still exists but are lumped together (think B&W Version if you've played it) and few and far between. Wild pokemon are also avalible, but are as rare as the trainers who possess them. Professionals of pokemon too are scarce, meaning few Professors, Gym Leaders, etc.

Plot

All across the known Pokemon universe, the critters have become scarce. Where once Pokemon joined human as pets, now dogs and cats have become the household animal. Join with the very few trainers left that are willing to pay large sums of money for their Pokemon, make teams and see if you can bring this ailing species back to it's former glory!

Pokemon have also wised-up. They are harder to catch, harder to train, harder to befriend. Use all your knowledge, as well as the knowledge of others, to win battles, and the hearts, of these pokemon! Who knows, there might even be an Elite Four out there somewhere!

History
Decades after team Plasma was defeated, a second wind of members arose and took power, having worked underground long enough to gain power and liberate Pokemon from the human hand. Suffering a second defeat by the hands of the public, the fools gave up, but not without permanentally changing the course of Pokemon and Human lives. Wild pokemon became hard to find, and the ones left where brought to reserves.

These reserves are the last strongholds of pokemon, acting like a Safari Zone mixed with a breeding farm, all run by breeders and scientists in hope of conserving the dwindling population. People who are interested in owning a Pokemon go to these reserves and buy pokemon now, but, for a large sum of money. Being as rare as they are, not every interested person can afford to own Pokemon, so it's up to those who are truly dedicated to owning and training, and conservation.

There is at least one reserve in each region which specializes in Pokemon for that region. Chose your favorite, or have your character travel! <3

Rules
1) No Godmoding. Example: Dont let your Electric type attack OHKO a ground type pokemon.

2) No Mary-Rue/Gary-Stu. Srsly.

3) Absolutely no killing of Pokemon >:[ ...fainting fine, but no killing >3>

4) Depending on your character's age, you may own only up to 3 pokemon, due to the logical amount of money that it'd take to buy those pokemon. Usually, you should start out with one. If your character is older, you may have up to 6.

5) No Legendaries please. Includes Trios of any kind, but does not include ones that can breed, like Lati@s--just, I dont want to see 5 of them running around. xD Talk to me if you reaally want a Legendary.

6) Keep battles to a realistic length. Also, no blood/extreme battle description--c'mon, it'd Pokemon, not Battle-to-the-Death.

7) Pokemon may have more than four attacks. Within the Anime, it's often seen they have more than that xD plus I'd think they wouldnt forget them so easily. Please keep them to a maximum of like 10 though. :x

8) Chansey, Zoroark, Kecleon, Lucario, etc; ones that you get through event or are extremely difficult to find (especially rare genders) should be extremely limited as well. Shinies go for this rule too.
