Graystoke nodded his head in agreement and said, "That sounds like an excellent idea, good thinking Tealeaf. Now let's not waste our time standing here. We know where we are going now. First to the train station, then to Gauge's house and then off to see if we can find the elusive Cresselia. Anything you would like to add Chatot?"

'He's right, that is rather smart thinking. Good work young one,' Rune said to the Bayleef. Though he didn't admit it, he was starting to warm up some to Tealeaf. This was a rather unusual thing for the old veteran, seeing as his scars both physical and mental usual kept him from doing so. The large pokemon was rather imposing already, and add the numerous scars that cover his steel hide and the almost scowl that he carried in his eyes, well you get a pokemon that not many who would approuch him. Because of this and what he had been through, the large steel and psychic type had pretty much noted that he wouldn't have too many friends. But there was something about the Bayleef that he like. Maybe it was the fact that he was strong in his belief that humans were good and it made Rune actually want to believe it. Who knows, all Rune knew is that he liked the dino.

Raina was the same way in some areas as her armor had chips and scratches all over it, not to mention that she was intimidating already. But the demeanor that Raina carried herself with and her body language somehow let others know that she was more approachable than Rune was. To be honest though, Raina was glad to see Rune actually attaching to someone after so long. It was a sign to her that maybe the old boy was finally getting over his aversion to pokemon and humans alike.

It was actually rather pleasant seeing Celebi restore the forest to the way it used to be. He had not been here before the destruction so all he ever knew of the trees and foliage was te destruction that had ravaged it. His heart lifted with the passing moments as Ilex Forest was brought back to life. Though, he was also watching to make sure the legend didn't expend too much of its energy. Even at birth a legend possessed great power, but even the legends had their limits.

The sound of singing reached Hawkeye's ears one more and he turned to see if he could find the source. A little ways off he noticed a Haunter enjoying a berry from one of the bushes that Celebi had restored only moments ago. Smiling, the Marowak walked within a few paces of the Haunter and stopped. 'Little One, I believe we have found our singer,' he called to his Celebi.

Turning his attention back to the ghost he smiled and asked, 'So, are you new to the forest my friend? Because I have not seen you around these parts before.' To be honest Hawkeye was almost completely sure that the Haunter had arrived here sometime in the near past. The ground type had been living in the forest long enough to know just about all the pokemon that still lived in it, which wasn't that many. So if he didn't recognize the ghost, it either hid well enough to have escaped him for years, which he highly doubted, or it was new here. The latter being his choice of opinion at the moment.

Tealeaf smiled, his headleaf twitching happily. He again felt proud to have had a good idea, bouncing some. He knew that compared to these huge, strong pokemon, he was nothing, so he had to have something to make up for it in his head. If that was to be on a mental level, then that was something to be proud of.

Gauge happily petted his head. "Remind me to bring the spritz bottle from home~"

The Bayleef's eyes grew wide, a smile creeping across his face. "BAY!!" he cried happily as he just about knocked Gauge over in a hug. The trainer giggled and hung onto the dino's neck so as not to fall on his behind.

"Alright, alright!" he giggled. He knew that the spray bottle was one of Tealeaf's favorite items, and as a Chikorita he'd been positivity trained with it. "Onward, Tealeaf! To the Train Station!"

"Bay!!" he said happily, bounding toward the train station with his trainer still hanging from his neck, easily able to support his weight.

"Well, looks like we know where we are going now, come guys." Darren waved his hand at his team to signal them to follow. He was enjoying himself quite a bit on the little journey he stumbled into back at the lake. First he got to see Suicune, he met two other trainers both of which looked formidable to say the least, and he had met a wild pokemon that had agreed to come with him. Not to mention that back at the port in Sinnoh they saw yet another legend, the White Hero of Unova Reshiram. All of this excitement gave speed to the trainer's legs as he followed the grass dino and Gauge to the train station.

'Come on fire doggy, let's get going! You two Mr. Old Guy Graysmoke!' Cel bounced around as usually and then tightened herself into a small ball and dropped to the ground. The moment she hit the ground, she sped off in a rollout and kicked up dust behind her as she came up beside the Bayleef.

Salem quickened his pace as well, but could not drop to all fours and start running due to the fact that he still had his illusion engaged. A teenage boy running along on all fours isn't exactly normal and would raise more thna just a few eyebrows.

"You see, child, one of the things you do not know about the humans that is crucial to your choice is the fact that there are some out there that love pokemon. They wish to befriend us, love us... However, there are others that only wish to collect us, show off their prizes, and ever more those who want us for nothing but power. The way we must help the world is to rid of the latter two types of people. Angel would most likely be able to speak better on the matters of the former, seeing as he deeply loved his trainer... His trainer was strong and caring, wishing the best for Angel, loved him and helped him achieve great power.

However... people also need to be educated better than they are. They shun our power because they fear the bad Orans of us, and pokemon are wary of humans because they fear the bad Orans of them. It is a two sided argument, and both of our species are to blame.
That is why I fear what might happen if Suicune and Angel succeed... Humans will fear us more, and those who love pokemon will have their voices drowned out by those who fear pokemon...
" He concluded, wringing his hands a bit where he sits.

He'd had plenty of time to think about many things, and while his own relationship with humans wasnt something that worried him, he knew many pokemon couldnt escape human kind like he could.

The train station not being too far from the dock aided in speed of getting there, and even for Tealeaf it didnt take long to run in. Though he and Gauge got some strange looks from onlookers, he was somewhat known around Johto, easily recognized by his easy-going demeanor.

He bounced happily up to the ticket master, looking into the window with a smile. "Bay!!" Surely the teller had never seen a pokemon come up for train tickets, so a bit of stuttering and confusion on her part was to be expected.

Gauge giggled from where he hung on Tealeaf's neck. He let himself down and stood up, looking to the teller as he fixed his clothes and pack. "Sorry about that~ Just a bit excited." He looked to Tealeaf. "Looking at the newsstand was your idea, I'll get the tickets."

"Bay!" he chirped before bouncing off.

Gauge chuckled and shook his head. "Three for Cherrygrove, please." Though they'd have to wait for a train to be departing, he was ever thankful they'd built the station in Cherrywood, though it want much of a coincidence considering that New Bark Town had one of the few pokemon labs left, and Cherrygrove had the space for a station.

Tealeaf bounced over to the news stand without much fear, looking up, down, and across the shelves for any sign of news on Cresselia. While he didnt read human word, he was looking for any pictures, in case someone'd gotten a candid photo of the legend.

Celebi's small body was surrended by her small bubble of protection as she floated down the path. She sang, soundless song with no words that caused the forest to heal, to grow around her. And she knew it was getting better. She wasn't strong, her powers was draining and she knew it, but she couldn't bring herself to stop.

Tears streaming down her face as she finally turned, body limp and her movements slow as she tried to find her Marowak friend. Finding him, the small legendary landed on the ground and moved her hands up to her face, antennae dropping slowly and she sighed.

'I tried. But, but I'm not strong enough. I don't know what to do' She whispered low and looked up at him.

Graystoke gave a small humph as he heard the psychic pokemon speak to him. "Here now, I am not that old," he said defensively. But by the time he said this, the Rueniclus had already sped off on its way. Sighing, he walked along the path and followed the two younger trainers. While he didn't like being called old and certainly defended himself when others called him such, there wasn't much hiding his years in his actions. He could still walk fairly quickly and due to him being in good health and fit shape he would have no problem keeping up with the others, but his wanting to do so had lessened over time. When he had been younger he would have gladly joined in racing to the train station, but now he was content with simply walking. 'Before you know it I'll be saying things like 'whippersnapper' and such, and yelling at the youngens to get off my lawn,' he thought jokingly to himself.

He and his pokemon reached the station as Gauge was buying the tickets and Tealeaf was surveying the news stand as the stands owner stared strangely at the large grass dino. Graystoke waited for Gauge to finish paying for the tickets before he asked, "So, where was it that your mother said Cresselia had been spotted again? Because whether there was another spotting or not, that would still be a good place to search out."

Rune had made his way over to the news stand as well, adding even more of a confused look to the shop owner. 'So, do you truly think we will be able to change the minds of the legends?' he asked in a low, serious tone. The Metagross had been putting some serious thought into the subject and was still struggling with how they would go about doing so. Power was something they were outmatched on by the legends, and wit was a subject that he could not gauge properly becuase he did not have a firm knowledge on the capacity of the minds of the legends. Though he did assume that in there long years of life, they would have gathered considerable wisdom and probably bested even himself on this point. So looking at it, the only thing that he could see would do such a thing would be actions, will, bravery, and determination. All of which were things that could not be equated, or measured as intellingence and strength could. Being the logical pokemon that he was, these things were a bit harder for him to grasp as his actions were usually dictated by the probabilities and statistics he computed himself. So that is why he was turning to the recently met Bayleef for some sort of answer, because he knew that the dino had and abundance of these.

Raina stood close behind Graystoke as she normally did. It was something that made her feel safer, knowing that Graystoke was nearby so that she could keep an eye on him. The role had been reversed in her days as an Axew, and ever since she had evolved, she had put it upon herself to give back what her trainer had done for her. Though she was however, listening to the conversation that her friend Rune was starting, interested in what was being said and what would be said.

Darren had seen Gauge paying for the tickets, so he decided he would follow the pokemon over to the news stand and see if anyone had seen Cresselia. 'Let's see,' he said to himself as he glanced over the different articles. Most of them were talking about traffic, stocks, and other such things rather than pokemon champions, battles, tournements and other things that he was told used to be regular news when his grandfather was a child. 'Man I wish I could have lived back in his day, things sounded like so much more fun.'

Cel floated around in circles behind Darren and the others and she waited for them to do something. She didn't really feel like looking at the news because it was boring, and there wasn't much else to do at the time so she decided to just float around. Bobbing over to the newest addition to their group, the Arcanine, she asked, 'So, do you have an actual name besides Arcanine or Fire Doggy?'

Everything that the little fighter had heard and seen that day was beginning to come bubbling up in his mind. All of the stories, opinions and even the speech from Angel began to whirl around his head like a beehive. Each one trying to yell louder than the other and gain his attention and opinion. Though Mienfoo had never really met a human outside of the ones at the reserves that fed them and checked up on them every so often. Becuase of this he didn't have too much of an opinion on people to sway him towards one way or the other. Sighing, he put his hands to his temples and began to massage them slowly.

'This is a much more complex problem than I though,' he mumbled. 'Suicune seems to want to just get ride of humans all together, Angel seems to want to wage a war on the humans or at least part of them anyway, and you want to find a way to get the humans to come away from their fear without a show of force or power. Each one of you has a plan of action and are bound to put it into motion but all of you are going about it differently. How are you going to decide who is right? Where do you draw the line on what is going to far or what to do in that case? Above all, what are you really planning to do?' There was so much that the fighter didn't understand, and so many questions that he wanted to ask, but he couldn't place his thoughts coherently enough to form a straight line of thought. So for now he was just trying his best to keep his head above the ocean of facts and opinions that was sloshing around in his mind.

Hawkeye was a bit startled by Celebi as she talked barely above a whisper to him. Hearing what she had to say, an immense feeling of empathy and sorrow filled the older ground type. He knew that she must be feeling it was her fault for not being there to protect the forest, and now finding out that she couldn't heal the entire forest in one swipe must be adding to that feeling. Smiling a little, he stuck his sharpened bone in the dirt and reached down towards the little legend. Scooping her up in his arms, he smiled at her. At the moment he saw her more as a child than a mighty legendary; and a child that needed comforting.

'Don't worry Little One, it will be alright. You just hatched from your egg, you can't truly expect yourself to be able to heal the entire forest in one day just yet. I'm sure that you will gain that power eventually, but give it a litle time. As well, you don't have to do it all at once. Back on Mount Silver in my tribe we are taught that patience is one of the most important traits a pokemon can posses. It helps in all areas, including battle, farming, and even in this situation you have foudn yourself in right now. If you give it time you can heal the forest one section at a time and after a while you will ahve brought it all back to life. For now you need to be happy with what you have done and train to get stronger.' Chuckling a little, he nodded his head towards Slinks and said, 'And look, what you have done today has already brought joy to the pokemon here. This Haunter seems to be thuroughly enjoying one of the berries you brought to the vine of this bush with your powers.'

Handing money to the ticket master, he gave her a smile as he took the tickets from her. Passing one to Graystoke, he said, "She didnt say where exactly, or if she did, the reception was so bad that I couldnt hear her."

Tealeaf looked and looked, but couldnt find much of a sign of any papers detailing Cresselia. His leaf drooped. Looking over to Rune as he came over, he had to think about his question. "I dont know... With what Suicune and Reshiram said... It could be really hard... They're so much stronger, they probably wont listen to us..." He still couldnt fathom why Suicune was so adamantly hating humans, and while Reshiram sounded on Suicune's side, there was a pang of hope in his words--he'd asked for pokemon to escape from abusive owners, not kind ones; and he even said that he had had a kind trainer...!! He shook his head a bit, not knowing what to think or say.

"I... will stay here on this island, providing a safe haven to the legendaries and abused pokemon that wish to escape or fight. My opinion is my opinion, but with them acting moreso on instinct and my having sat here for so long, I have it a bit more thought out. However..." He shrugs. "I will only fight if the fight is brought to me... The other legendaries may go about what they plan for themselves--If you've not noticed, I am small compared to them; my powers horrendous, but mainly effective during sleep."

He looked conflicted through his speech, but deep inside, he knew there was little he could do. The Birds of Johto, Shapers of Hoenn, and Controllers of Sinnoh were due to arrive and help the fight, so there was little he could do. He was a psudo-legendary, one that had a story, but not truly a legend. He could never hope to convince the others to stop, even through his nightmares.

Catch That?
Setting
You can be located in any of the five known regions, but try to pick a region in which others are playing so you arent travelling alone. Unova is the most desicrated area and Pokemon are highly scarce here. Sinnoh and Hoenn are least affected (since they're islands and not connected to the main land), but still quite devoid of life, while Kanto and Johto are in between.

Pokemon Centers and Marts still exists but are lumped together (think B&W Version if you've played it) and few and far between. Wild pokemon are also avalible, but are as rare as the trainers who possess them. Professionals of pokemon too are scarce, meaning few Professors, Gym Leaders, etc.

Plot

All across the known Pokemon universe, the critters have become scarce. Where once Pokemon joined human as pets, now dogs and cats have become the household animal. Join with the very few trainers left that are willing to pay large sums of money for their Pokemon, make teams and see if you can bring this ailing species back to it's former glory!

Pokemon have also wised-up. They are harder to catch, harder to train, harder to befriend. Use all your knowledge, as well as the knowledge of others, to win battles, and the hearts, of these pokemon! Who knows, there might even be an Elite Four out there somewhere!

History
Decades after team Plasma was defeated, a second wind of members arose and took power, having worked underground long enough to gain power and liberate Pokemon from the human hand. Suffering a second defeat by the hands of the public, the fools gave up, but not without permanentally changing the course of Pokemon and Human lives. Wild pokemon became hard to find, and the ones left where brought to reserves.

These reserves are the last strongholds of pokemon, acting like a Safari Zone mixed with a breeding farm, all run by breeders and scientists in hope of conserving the dwindling population. People who are interested in owning a Pokemon go to these reserves and buy pokemon now, but, for a large sum of money. Being as rare as they are, not every interested person can afford to own Pokemon, so it's up to those who are truly dedicated to owning and training, and conservation.

There is at least one reserve in each region which specializes in Pokemon for that region. Chose your favorite, or have your character travel! <3

Rules
1) No Godmoding. Example: Dont let your Electric type attack OHKO a ground type pokemon.

2) No Mary-Rue/Gary-Stu. Srsly.

3) Absolutely no killing of Pokemon >:[ ...fainting fine, but no killing >3>

4) Depending on your character's age, you may own only up to 3 pokemon, due to the logical amount of money that it'd take to buy those pokemon. Usually, you should start out with one. If your character is older, you may have up to 6.

5) No Legendaries please. Includes Trios of any kind, but does not include ones that can breed, like Lati@s--just, I dont want to see 5 of them running around. xD Talk to me if you reaally want a Legendary.

6) Keep battles to a realistic length. Also, no blood/extreme battle description--c'mon, it'd Pokemon, not Battle-to-the-Death.

7) Pokemon may have more than four attacks. Within the Anime, it's often seen they have more than that xD plus I'd think they wouldnt forget them so easily. Please keep them to a maximum of like 10 though. :x

8) Chansey, Zoroark, Kecleon, Lucario, etc; ones that you get through event or are extremely difficult to find (especially rare genders) should be extremely limited as well. Shinies go for this rule too.
