Star growled and gave up. She whined and pulled away from Axel she ran over to sora. Sat next to her and gave her a smug look. Sora said something but  Star was already off chasing a leaf fluttering in the wind.  Star sat down next to Sora with a snort she sat down and licked at her new ripped ear. Star snorted again and led down next to Sora.  She lay quietly for a while but got bored and jumped up chasing soras tail. After a while Star got bored off that too and led back down next to Sora this time she fell asleep snoring gently.

Sora carefully got out from under her packmates.'I guess this is what would be called a wolf pile,' Sora briefly thought to herself. After catching her breath, Sora shook her fur out. She noticed that smug look that Star gave her when she sat down and to be honest, Sora did not like it much. "We should get moving soon as soon as our injuries have been taken care of," Sora broke off when she looked around. Scattered all around the cave were wolves who would never rise again, like dead petals.

She had just realized this when Star decided to attack her tail. Frustrated, Sora moved her tail but unfortunately that only seemed to make it more of a game. Luckily for Sora, Star got bored of that game quickly and fell asleep next to her. 'These wolves should not have died!' thought Sora. It was obvious in Sora's behavior that this was a sore subject. The faster their injuries were healed and the sooner they left this place, the better Sora would feel.

The moon was now high in the night sky, and the earth below it was illuminated by it's bright beams. She lay there, somewhere in the middle of it all, her heart and mind not bound by this world, but fixed on the next. On paradise. She focused her thoughts on the sights and scents. The wind blew through her fur, ruffling it, exposing her many scars; but to her, it was as a warm embrace. She savored it. She had traveled so far. Her feet were sore and she needed rest. So she let her mind wander, but the scent in the air was troubling. It kept her bound to earth, unable to dream without distraction. It was a familiar scent, like the one she had tried to bury so long ago. It was the scent of war, of destruction, of loss and heartache. Who was it? Why had it happened? Who was out there? She could howl, but who would listen? Who would hear her, and did it matter? She had given her sacred trust before, but it was a mistake she would not soon repeat. The lone wolf life was all she knew. It was safe - free from distraction of this busy world. It kept her on the right track. She could almost taste it. Paradise. And yet, a void grew deep inside her...deep as her wounds. She couldn't shake it. Drinking in the moon light, she found new strength. Coming to her feet once more, she began moving on. Walking. Running. Searching. It was all she knew.

Star awoke and knew at once Sora was angry she whined in apoligy and sat up. Star licked at her torn ear and chased a leaf. She sat down and her stomach gurgled. Food. Star walked over to sora and begged for food. But Sora was doing something. So Star decided to learn how to hunt. She walked around a corner and trotted down an allyway. Star ran after small rabbit and noticed another wolf following her. She turned and ran back to Sora and yes the other wolf followed her. Star whined she kept thinking she knew this wolf but probably not.

Firirn sniffed air, searching worriedly for Raiku's scent. He had finally decided to set out to look for her a few days after she had left, so she would have a head start. But something seemed to be wrong; while he had been following Raiku, her scent had often disappeared in places, or turn up in dead-ended alleys, and he could have swore he smelt blood more than once. "Raiku." Firin said aloud. The word echoed dully around him in the rough dumpster, but to him it felt like honey on his tongue, but pained his mind. God, he loved that she-wolf and for once he didn't have the guts to tell her his feelings, as whenever he tried he got this squirmy, awkward feeling or someone interrupted them. Firin was rather sad and a little freaked out when Raiku had told them she was going ahead, because she had never told him anything of her decision, and what had made her want to go so suddenly? So he had decided that when he found Raiku, that he would tell her his true feelings, which he knew would be made into three words; 'I love you.' He longed to say it, but he was frightened now, because as he closed in at top speed to her scent the blood smell got unbearably stronger, and he could see a streak of red on the pavement. "Raiku!" Firin yelled in fear, running even faster than before. His cry came out in a searching howl. What sight would await him when he arrived? Perhaps it was just prey- but what type of animal in a city would lose so much blood? Just then, the trail disappeared again. He waited, hoping that she might reply to the last howl Firin had uttered, because he might be found if he made any noise he might be found. "Dammit!" He snarled, because no matter how hard he searched, he could not find Raiku's scent again, nor any more signs that she was there, and just when he was closing in too! This was bad. He had to either leave and continue on to wait under the tall building that Raiku had specified before she left, or wait and hide until he saw her- or found what had made all the blood. Curious, he decided to hide and lay behind an alley in waiting. Now it's your turn, Raiku, he thought drowsily, and I hope we can find each other tonight.

While Star's focus was on chasing leaves, Sora's was on seeing that the pack was well enough to travel. Being too preoccupied to notice that Star was begging for food, the brown she-wolf was busy evaluating how long it would take to reach the city Raiku spoke about. That and how many days they had left before the next red moon. Breaking out of her thoughts, Sora noticed that Star was rounding a corner and was soon out of her range of vision.

A short passage of time went by, ending with Star furiously racing towards Sora, her miniature paws scrapping the stone as she went along. Sora could sense Star quivering next to her tail and hind paws. The pup seemed to be struggling to breathe while Sora's attention was solely focused on the adult wolf positioned in front of her. Maybe it was her imagination, but it seemed to Sora that she had seen this young wolf before. The dark gray fur and the green eyes should have given her a hint on who it was.

"State your name and purpose here, or I will attack you without hesitation." Sora spoke the words with cold and quiet reserve evident in her voice.

Star backed away from the other wolf,  Its green eyes glittered. She panted struggling to get a proper lung full of breath. Sora spoke in a sharp but quiet voice which made Star freeze. She was still struggling for breath when the wolf opened its mouth to answer. Star didnt hear the answer but shivered anyway. She struggled to her feet and looked up at Sora who had a shocked expression on her face. "Are you angry?" Star whispered in a hoarse voice. Sora nodded or shook her head. Star wasnt really concentrating. She looked at the wolf and ticked through the wolves she had met. All she could think of was a shadowy memory of Sora and and a wolf with the same green eyes but it was probably her imagination.  StarStar curled up next to Sora's stomach and fell into a deep sleep.

I turned my head towards the new gray wolf with green eyes. They gleamed emerald when I looked at him. Those bright eyes... No, it couldn't be. How could my long-dead foster brother turn up HERE of all places?! I exclaimed, "Moonflame?!" referring to him by what used to be his childhood nickname. The wolf turned his head. Moonflame was the only one in my foster mom's litter who was ever nice to me. When his mom died trying to protect us from the humans, I had turned coward and ran. How could he have lived, if this strange wolf was Moon?!

Sora's gaze was focused on the large dark gray wolf that stood in front of her. Her eyes had been locked on her target, thoughtfully considering how she knew this wolf and where when the silence, not to mention Sora's train of thought, was shattered. Just when the male was going to state his name and reasons for coming here, Shelilla exclaimed that this wolf was Moonflame.

'Moonflame. Where have I heard that name before?', Sora questioned herself as she held her intense stare. Her eyes widened in surprise when she realized where she had seen him. They had been pups at the time, hardly more than yearlings however the strange thing was that all the times that Sora saw him, he had been alone. It was odd because Shelilla obviously knew him once.

At this realization, Sora shook her soft brown head in disbelief, a faint smile spreading across her face. The next thing she did was walk straight up to Moonflame, touch noses with him and start heading towards the waterfall's entrance, with Star hanging limply by her scruff. Sora glanced back at her pack plus Moonflame and beckoned them to follow, her tail being the last to disappear as she rounded a corner.

Mylo sat on top of the hill, tossing the apple up into the air and catching it in her hand repeatedly. The two goons had been knocked out cold, laying somewhere behind her, the only sound that could be heard was the humming coming from the engine of their jeep. The moon overhead was huge and so close to earth..you could almost reach out and touch it. Mylo sat there, her human hair being combed by the night breeze, her large saphire eyes reflecting the moon and all it's beauty. She let out a sigh, clutching the apple in her right hand next to her chest. One of the humans let out a silent groan, and Mylo quickly turned her head, but the man was still. Silly humans..She thought, as she brought the apple up to her lips and took a bite, returning her attention to the moon.

One of the men woke up, and was rubbing his head with a grimace on his face. He came to, and looked around frantically, as if he had forgotten where he was. There was a bag of spilled apples laying on the ground next to the jeep. "Gus! Wake up!"He said, shaking the shoulder of the large, lumberjack sized man laying on the ground next to him. The man gasped suddenly, and shot up. "Where'd it go!?" He exclaimed, sounding almost insane. The other man looked at him, and then the two looked on towards the hill, where only a trail of pawprints remained.

Raiku walked calmly through the crowd of busy people walking in every wich direction. She walked up to a stand selling fresh meat. Handing the man a 10 dollar bill she pick pocketed out of mans coat she ordered a large raw steak. She walked off with her steak wrapped in white plastic, and honestly it smelled horrible. It didnt smelled like chemicals, not the delicious fresh meat she was used to. Raiku came upon the tallest building I the entire city of jaugura, the royal tower of lady christine. Raiku had no idea who she was but she didn't really care, she just knew it was a big tower. "Extra! Extra! Wolves sighted in the city foaming at the mouths! Scientist say it is infectious!" The paper boy waved the paper around yelling the sentence over and over. Using what little money she had left raiku bought one of the papers and began to read. She was horrified by what she saw in the paper. "Wolves were spotted on the east end of the city near lady Christine's tower. Reportedly one of them was vomiting a black foam from the mouth and then attacked a passing human. He was then carried to the hospital where her died. Doctors say it is some type of virus that spreads through the blood stream after coming in contact with the carriers saliva, much like rabies. As wether or not it was a wolf or just a large dog is unconfirmed." Raiku put down the paper horrified. As the wind changed direction she could smell the scent of decay and diesease. Her senses went on high alert as she saw a dark figure limp out of a alley. Once it came closer she could see it was a very thin wolf that reeked of death. It's fur was matted, it's eyes were frantic, and it had a black foam dripping from its jaws. Nearby a woman screamed and the entire crowd dispersed. Raiku decided not to taking any chances with the diesease and sprinted out the streets with the paper in her hands. Once she was a good 16 blocks away she stopped to catch her breath. She almost jumped in surprise when she smelled a familiar scent. "Firin?" She thought to herself. She ran off toward the direction it came from. Leaving small scent marks along the way.

Mylo walked down the narrow alley way. Her face showed no emotion and she seemed to be lost in thought. Her shadow trailed behind her, taking the shape of her true form. Her footsteps fell silently on the snow. A scrawny, stray cat had been watching her from a distance, and when Mylo passed it, it arched it's back and hissed quietly. The air was putrid. A lanky, malnourished wolf had been digging in the dumpster, but stopped momentrily to look at her as she passed by. Mylo locked eyes with the starved creature, it's gaze empty and lacking the shine of life. This exhcange only lasted but a moment, and the wolf went back to digging. Mylo continued on. There was something nostalgic about this place. She thought back to when she too used to live off scraps, forced to lower herself to begging for any small portion of garbage this junkyard of a city had to offer. She would have died in the gutters a long time ago, if it weren't for Scott. She suddenly stopped in her tracks, clutching the apple core in her hand. How she hated that wolf. She hated him with every breath she had in her, but she had him to thank. She narrowed her eyes. Admitting that..that she hated even more. Turning the corner, she soon came out of the alley and took a look around. North City...the place was a dump. The buildings were reduced to ruin, and the people were as empty and lifeless as the ruins themselves. Mylo walked against the flow of people. Faces passed here and there, not one of them making eye contact with her or the people around them. Suddenly, a man bumped into her. A rage overcame him, as he pushed her back and pinned her into a wall. His face became distorted with spite. "Minght wanna mind where you're dragging your feet, little missy." He hissed, his breath heavy with the stench of liqour. Mylo said nothing, but simply stared into his eyes. The man appeared to be unarmed by her sharp gaze, and soon enough backed away and was lost in the flow of the crowd. Mylo watched where he left for a while, and then continued in the opposite direction, tossing the apple core in her hand.

Sora stretched her long legs in the bright light of the sun. She laid Star carefully on a small rock beside her and curled her tail around her paws, awaiting the faint sound of paw steps on the stone that would signal the approach of the rest of her growing pack amid the ceaseless crashing of the small waterfall. "Quite a few wolves have joined our pack lately. I wonder how many more there will be," Sora spoke softly to herself as her gaze fell over the spring landscape.

There were many more miles to cross over in order to reach their destination in time. The city Raiku had talked about was not too hard to journey to, however Sora knew that traveling with pups presented another difficulty in itself. Pups got exhausted faster and also needed to eat more frequently than the adults did.

The pack needed to get moving and soon, using whatever strength and endurance they had left. Sora's main motive was to get to the valley's crest before the moon was fully up. As Sora rose, she turned her head to the side, towards the small entrance she had come out of not too long before and waited. Faintly, the light in the sky was fading as the day came to a close, the faint light catching Sora's eyes and making them glow a bright silver.

Firin stopped when he saw the skinny wolf. It was a female, with a similar smell to Raiku's. He sighed in relief then bolted back in alarm as the wolf turned its head towards him. There was blood foam coming out of its mouth.

"What the-!" he growled, and decided not to further investigate, though he hoped Raiku hadn't seen that. The wolf started to try and run at him but ended up limping fastly, then falling over again. Firin jumped onto the nearest building and away from it, shaking his head and trying to forget that image.

He went into wolf form to lope faster and ended up in an alleyway when he started to look up. Suddenly, there was a flash of black fur and Firin felt like he was being choked to death.

When the thing stepped back he then realized it was... "Raiku?" He cried in delight.

Hushiro listened boredly to That Duke go on and on and on about Wolves and Paradise and Revenge. Hushiro was lulled in and out of the conversation as he tried to keep His Brilliant Ideas inside his own head as he sensed this man was a noble. Halfway through the talk, he could not contain himself and loudly exclaimed, "Why don't we just give them Rabies-Blood-Foam..." The Duke seemed annoyed and started to push him out the door, accusing Hushiro of being an Idiot and Stupid and Not-Paying-Attention-To-A-Word-I-Say. Hushiro dug his heels into the Red-Floor-Carpet and raised a beaker of orange liquid to the Noble's mask like a piece of candy.

"What's this? Are you trying to bargain for your life, you stupid man? No drugs or wine will tempt me away from my descicion, and I doubt I will get sick or injured any time soon."

Hushiro raised his head and grinned psycopathically out of nowhere. His golden eyes grew large and crazy, and his mouth was like that of a serial killer's after torturing someone to death. Duke Tsenara let go of the scientist instantly and brushed his hands in disgust. Hushiro shook the beaker again and told him it was Wolf-Disease-Rabies-Blood-Foam. The Duke seemed to actually like that and finnally agreed to let him use it. Hushiro smiled cynically again. This would finnally be the day where Those Other Humans saw his Brilliant-Thought-Ideas and he would finally be worshipped like a god. If he could poison all the wolves with Rabies-Blood-Foam, then he would rule science!

Wolfs Rain
Setting
There are 3 places to start: The stinky, North city that is pretty much ruined and full of scientists and criminals. The South City, which is an island where you have to tow heavy boxes or get whipped so you can have food. Or the rural areas, such as the mountains, desert, forest, or ruins.
Plot
If you haven't heard about the show Wolf's Rain, well it is a time way in the future in a pretty much post apocalyptic world where wolves "died" over 200 years ago. There are a number of cities where you try to survive as a wolf and find paradise. Also, wolves have a human cloak where they trick the humans hunting them to see a human form, not their wolf form. Paradise is where Lunar Flowers bloom and only wolves know the way to paradise. Also, wolves have almost super powers, such as jumping like a ninja up a wall and being able to survive drops humans usually wouldn't. If you are a royal-well, i'm not going to explain-look Wolf's Rain up on youtube. There will be challenges, mystery, sacrifice, friendship and happiness.
History
Loads of wolves have tried to get to Paradise. All have dissapeared, unless they returned early. As the red moon approaches (the end of the earth) wolves must go on the quest for paradise-or die. The rest of the history will go on with this RP.
Rules
sigh... Look at my other RP rules-same as usual. The max is 6 characters and you can't make another persons character same something silly if you don't want them to. Not TOO much controlling others characters unless you have permission.
