Lilya smiled and cuddled up to Deonday, she joked playfully, "Well aren't I lucky to have a knight in shining armor.... on his noble steed."

Xina crossed her arms and studied it, "Well, probably forever you have ever seen what those humans do all the time." Farren yawned and licked her lips in boredom, she hated it whenever these.. creatures that her master followed always talked to each other. Plans also angered her- they took forever to perfect and she was almost never involved in the action. Farren stared at the mine enterence wondering what this was exactly and why humans would need it.

Deonday heard Lilya's comment and gave her a faint smile. He honestly had no idea how he should respond to that comment.

Grendile saw that the sun was tising across the horizon. The birds were singing their morning songs. He could see that poor Batlor had to sleep outside because he wasn't allowed. Grendile turned back to the group. "Well it's morning, maybe we should get going.

Usud looked carefully at the entrance of the mine. It looked stable enough that they shouldn't have any worries, but he couldn't say the same about the inside. The inside looked pitch black. "It's not going to be easy finding our way through it."

Xina shrugged, "I can always fix our problems. Farren." She looked at her Hellhound and the dog fluffed herself up and she began to glow. Xina nodded and straed att he mine entrance, "You see, magic is more useful than it seems sometimes."

Lilya smiled and kissed his cheek and looked towards Grendile, "Yes, we probably should get moving. Before anything else finds us." She said thinking of the master again and how he said he would return when his powers come back. She shuddered and moved a little closer to Deonday.

Hokey flicked his ear, he felt very grim. "Yes, we need to get moving..."

"Then we should get going." Grendile knew that they should leave as soon as possible.

Deonday blushed a bit when Lilya kissed him on the cheek.

Usud looked at Farren impressed by him. He wasn't around too much magic so any amount of it impressed him. He looked intrigued by the fact Farren was glowing. "Well that does solve our problem." Usud looked at poor Wolf who was still desparetely trying to pry his own mouth open.

Thern heard they were leaving soon. Brench helped Thern get downstairs. Brench assisted Thern and helped him return the room key at the front desk. He then helped Thern get outside where they waited.

Lilya smiled at Deonday noticed he was blushing slightly and she looked at Grendile, "Okay then Casper." She held onto Deonday staring outside at Baltor who looked lonely and confused.

Hokey got up and stretched his aching muscles. He yawned and looked at his master who was still depending on Deonday. Hokey knew she had a leg injury from long ago- that's probably why she was so cautious on getting injuries like these. Hokey followed happily.

Xina looked at Wolf and smirked to herself a bit, finding joy in watching Wolf suffer. She looked at Zonan expectnatly but he looked deep in thought. Xina narrowed her eyes and looked back att he mine with the glowing Hellhound next to her.

Deonday agreed with Grendile. He helped Lilya get down the stairs and over to Batlor. "Let's wait out here for the others."

Grendile returned everyone's room keys at the front desk. He then walked outside. When everyone was outside Jewels began leading the way.

Deonday noticed that Lilya looked a little unsure about Baltor. "It will be fine, I promise." Deonday got onto Baltor, he held out his hand. Lilya hesitated to grab his hand. "What? I promise he won't bite." Deonday grabbed Lilya's hand and pulled her up. When the group started moving Baltor begun trotting at a slow steady pace.

Lilya held onto Deonday tightly, still rememebring when Baltor first came to them, he almost anpped off her hand. She watched the ground uneasily not noticing what it would feel if she fell and clung into Deonday more tightly.

Hokey watched as his master looked uneasy and chuckled to himself, "It's funny that my master always wanted a horse to ride. And now look at her- evidently she doesn't believe that Baltor trusts her enough to ride him. But he probably does." He commented to Grendile. Iken was curled around Grendile's wrist watching everyone expectantly, this master thing that happeneed recently and the female coral snake crossed his mind again- wondering who she was and why she wanted to protect him.

Baltor continued his slow steady trot. He had a feeling that Lilya didn't trust him. He flicked his ears and whinnied loudly, for another horse this would usually be a signal that said 'I mean no harm'. But to Lilya this probably meant the exact opposite.

Deonday could tell Lilya was very nervous. "It will be fine, I promise." Deonday held Baltor's reigns tightly. He didn't want Baltor to run, or there would be the risk of Lilya falling off. Deonday made sure that Baltor would continue to steadily trot and do no different.

Grendile looked back at Deonday, Lilya, and Baltor. Lilya looked very nervous. "Baltor is a very sweet horse, I'm pretty sure he already trusts Lilya." Grendile continued to walk now looking straight ahead. He took a quick look down at Iken, he began rubbing his head. "Is something troubling you?"

Lilya closed her eyes tightly listening to Deonday, "Yes but- this is kind of nerve-racking for me. I never actually have ridden a horse that was abused before.." SHe mumbled and cuddled closer to Deonday, clinging to him tightly, not showing any signs of letting go.

Hokey nodded and folded his arms, "Yes, she needs to be more trusting of Baltor."

Iken flicked his tounge and stared at Grendile, "That female you talked about earlier, why would she care about me? Normally snakes don't care for one another, we're all very territorial no matter what breed we are.Why would she have a special caring for me exactly and try to protect me?"

Grendile looked at Iken who seemed confused. "I would have no clue my friend. Maybe she likes you." Grendile rubbed Iken on the head trying to make him feel a bit better. He looked back at Lilya and Deonday. "Yes, but with what the master almost did to Lilya, I'm not suprised that she'd be a bit nervous."

Deonday noticed that Lilya was cuddling closer to him. "You don't have to be nervous. Batlor's a very good horse. Aren't you Batlor?" Batlor neighed happily to answer Deonday's question. In horse language he said. "Yes, if you could really understand me Lilya maybe you'd trust me more. I know, maybe running will make her happy, I like to run, maybe, if I run she'll be happy!" Batlor began to run a bit. Lilya didn't fall or slip off the horse, but she seemed scared. Deonday pulled the reins of the horse tight to keep it under control. "No Batlor! Stop!" Batlor stopped running disappointed and continued his trot.

Lilya stared at Baltor is fear, "I-is he under full control?" SHe asked in fear, not letting go of Deonday. She wasn't real sure on how controlled Baltor was, noting how he just ran by himself he obviously has different opinions than they do. She closed her eyes and clung to Deonday.

iken flicked his tounge wondering what Grendile meant. He was slightly confused but eventually he had another thought, "What if she is my mother?" He asked uncertainly, normally baby snakes took the genetic codes of their mother and father and they got mixed, making them look like both their parents.

"It's fine Lilya, your not going to fall off. Batlor's just a bit hyper this morning, that's all. I promise he's under control now." Deonday held Baltor's reins tight, making sure he had a firm grip.

Baltor felt very energetic and wanted to run as fast as he could. But he knew Deonday and Lilya would be against it. "Aw, I wanna run. Maybe if I run as fast as I can, they'll want me to run more!" Baltor tried to run but Deonday pulled on his reins stopping him before he ran again.

Grendile looked at Iken rubbing his head. "Maybe, that could be it Iken."

Lilya almost yelped when Baltor began to run again and the horse snorted in distaste when Deonday stopped him again. Lilya swallowed hard and muttered, "Just let him run, he would be happier if he runs.." She almost regretted saying that instantly and clung to Deonday even more tightly.

Hokey watched his master in amusement and looked at Grendile who was speaking with Iken. He narrowed his eyes and watched his master again, making sure she was protected.

Iken flicked his tounge and enjoyed being rubbed and he looked up seeing a looming structure that looked low in the ground, he stared at it curiously.

Deonday knew that Lilya was a bit frightened about falling off Baltor. "If you say so..." Deonday made sure Lilya had a firm grip on his back before he gave Baltor the signal to run again. Baltor bolted as fast as he could, enjoying the sensation of running. Lilya seemed very nervous. Deonday made sure that Baltor didn't run too fast. After a few minutes of running Baltor slowed down. "You alright Lilya?" To Deonday Lilya seemed a bit frightened.

Grendile looked at the low to the ground structure as well. He couldn't clearly identify it. "What is that?"

Jewels led the others to the entrance of the cave. It was large, and it looked like it hadn't been maintained in years. "Okay, this is the place." She turned around and smiled, gesturing toward the cave's entrance. Allison looked at Jewels. "Are you sure it's safe for us to go through?" Jewels smiled at her. "Nope! But as long as we don't make loud sounds, we'll be fine" She smiled with her eyes closed then turned back around.

Zonan looked at the others. "Do you hear that?" Jade looked at him. "What?" Zonan looked back at her. "I can hear voices from outside, but not just any voices." He glared toward the entrance of the cave. "It's them!"
