  Xina tensed her muscles and glared at Ferru, she smiled, "Why insult your leader? It never ends well!" She morphed into a lioness and lugned at Ferru knocking him across the room. SHe glared at him and snarled. She lashed her tail and when he got up Xina lunged again slashing at his arm. She knew he was immortal- but she hoped he could feel pain so he would learn never to insult Xina. Usud was very shocked and backed off slowly.

  Lilya felt her neck sting and she sighed hopelessly, she closed her eyes feeling Deonday stare at her. She smiled slightly hoping she could ever sleep with her neck stinging like this.

Usud stayed out of Xina's and Ferru's 'friendly conversation'. He instead decided to go into a corner of the room. He heard a small squeak, he turned around to see a mouse. He backed off a bit not wanting to see any rodent if any kind. "Discusting mice, I bet their all over the place the discusting vermin. I bet you they have thousands of diseases to carry with them too." Usud backed away from the mouse looking at it in slight fear and discust.

Deonday hoped that Lilya would be able to get some rest and would be alright. "Grendile could you tell me what happened." Grendile nodded and explained to Deonday what had happened. Deonday thought of each sentence with the word 'master' in it horribly. "Then we have to be more careful. I wish I could've been there to help her. We should all be more alert then."

   Wolf rolled his eyes and stabbed the wall with his dirk, killing the spider. He rubbed his hands together and sheathed his dirk again and went to talk to Usud. He crossed his arms, "She has anger issues." She scoffed and glared at Xina, "She has no mercy for others, that's why she's so perfect to be Zonan's little pet." He said resentfully.

  Xina ignored Wolf's comments and morphed back into a human. She made a few gestures and Ferru was stuck to the wall by an invisible force.

  Lilya heard the explaination Grendile gave and sighed, knowing all this was true.

To be polite Usud stayed perfectly silent. He didn't want to seem rude to anyone so he made no comment to Xina or Wolf. He just looked back at the mouse that was in the corner of the room.

Deonday looked at Lilya with worried eyes. He didn't like the sounds of what had happened. He wanted to protect her in anyway he could. Deonday hated to see her in pain. He began wondering what this 'master' might want with her. He stopped thinking for a moment when he saw Lilya's neck was still in pain. "Are you going to be alright?"

   Lilya smiled at him, "Yes- I think I'll be fine." She said reassuringly. She flinched when her neck stung but she ignored it ad continued to look at Deonday reassuringly.

   Xina left him there and leaned against the wall looking at the ground her eyes sparkling with violence and athority. "Go ahead, talk with Wolf, Usud." She told him in her dark tone, "I don't mind being Zonan's pet." She said with a cruel smile.

  Wolf scoffed, "You sick, sick feline!" Xina stared at him silently, not moving. She rolled her her eyes and continued to look at the ground while Wolf jabbered on about Xina being Zonan's pet. "She acts so loyal all the time! Probably only yo mkae us look bad!" He snapped at Usud.

Usud hated hearing any kinds of complaints, he hated the way Wolf was talking and complaining. He completely disregarded everything Wolf was saying and continued watching the small mouse. He watched as the mouse scurried from side to side acting instinctively. Then Usud begun thinking of magic, one of the very few things that amused him. He liked seeing magic being used. He remembered he had his hat in his left hand, he didn't find it polite to wear hats indoors so he continued to hold on to it.

Deonday knew Lilya was in pain but she had said she'd be fine, and she was looking at him reassuringly. He knew she was in pain though, he wished there was something he could do. He remembered he still had some herbs from when they were in Carnon City. They were still alive, he knew this type of herb could be useful for up to a month. He pulled out the herb and rubbed it on Lilya's neck. "Is that any better?"

Xina closed her eyes, "Now Usud, you don't have to be so polite." She was starting to get annoyed. She glared at the shadows, where is he?!

  Wolf crossed his arms and scoffed, "Xina probably wants to marry Zonan that sicko." Xina smiled at this throught and Wolf flailed his arm making 'ewwww' sounds.  Xina rolled her eyes knowing how easy it is to set him off and looked back at the ground again stuck with her own thoughts, finally Wolf silenced by running into a wall. "Don't run with your eyes closed." Xina advised darkly and Wolf grumbled as he rubbed his face.

  Lilya smiled and Deonday and held his hand, "Yes, that's much better." Her voice was croaky because of how hard the master grabbed  her neck.

Usud was beginning to bore, the fact that Wolf ran into a wall didn't amuse him. He sat doen on the floor, setting his hat to the side of him. He watched as the small mouse ran into a hole in the wall. Usud's mind began to wonder, he was thinking of places and things he's seen before. Then the thought of magic crossed his mind again. Elves were very quick when it came to learning magic. But no one had ever bothered to teach him anything about it. There had to be at least one place that had books that could teach him how to use magic.

Deonday gave Lilya a small smile glad the herbs had helped her.

Zonan emerged from the shadows. He walked in through the door and found the others waiting for him, and a new face was with them. He tilted his head and looked at the new face. "And who is this?" He asked with a devious smile.

Jewels sat up in her bed and rubbed her head. It was still dark, but she heard voices coming from the other room. She pushed Hina off of her legs and got up. She rubbed her eyes and turned on the lamp. She stuffed her feet into her shoes and walked out into the hallway and knocked on the other door. She heard a thud and raised her eyebrow. "Is everything alright in there?" She asked, almost worried.

 

  Xina looked up to see Zonan, she sighed in relief and stood next to him, she explained to him, "That's Usud. Evidently he has something against Deonday, I thought he could be very useful to us." Farren looked annoyed that her master kept moving and sat next to her again, her orange eyes narrowed.

  Lilya looked at Jewels and sighed, "You don't want to know.." Then she looked back at Deonday and attempted to get up, but she fell down again in great pain. "Well I feel nice.." she muttered to herself and Jason joined Jewels in the doorway.

Usud saw the man enter the building, he had a feeling this must be Zonan. He picked himself off of the floor, holding his hat in his left hand. He turned looking in Zonan's direction. He was suspicious about his devious smile, but he did his best to ignore it. He was beginning to think he was too suspicious about this group, for a fact he was suspicious about Xina's dark tone and that turned out to be the regular way she talked. "Hello."

Deonday watched Lilya fall. "Are you alright?" He felt guilty that he didn't catch her, he now felt a bit stupid. "Do you want me to help you get up?"

"Oh, so you know that annoying creature? That may be useful." He gave another evil grin and sat down on a nearby chair. He brushed off a little dirt from the arm rests and looked at the others. "Now. I was out for a long walk, and I found an interesting discovery. There seems to be an old mine or cave not too far from here. If I'm not mistaken, this particular cave system links all the cities together. this means, traveling will be easier!" He smiled.

Jewels heard another thud coming from inside the room. She looked over her shoulder to see Jason had joined her. She gave a small smile to him and knocked on the door again. "Are you guys okay? It sounds like somebody's hurt." She said in a concerned tone of voice.

  Lilya looked up, "You can come in jewels." She said and looked at Deonday, "Y-yes, i hate to admit it but I do need help." She muttered and leaned him slightly her neck stinging furiously.

  Xina's eyes brightened, "Caves... but aren't they lsightly dangeorus? I mean- they closed the mine for a reason right? What if there are falling rocks or that gas that they use canaries to find." She said to him, proecessing the information. She had to make sure everything was secure so there was no need to worry about anything. Farren bit  her paw and looked at her master in a wondering way and looked forward again.

Usud knew Xina brang up a good point, and there were usually risks of mines to collapse, a gas leak could occur, and he hated the thought that there might be rats. He knew Xina already brought up the question so he stayed quiet.

Deonday saw that Lilya's neck was still stinging her terribly. "Then I'll help." Deonday helped pull Lilya to her feet, he did his best to make sure she was able to stand on her own before letting go of her arms. He hated to see Lilya in pain. He was thinking of ways to relieve the pain in her neck. He was thinking a warm wet cloth might help a bit. But where would he get one? Deonday began thinking silently to himself.

Zonan raised his eyebrow. "Its perfectly alright. I took part of my walk in the cave itself. There's no gas, nor is it collapsing. But, I dont know how long it will hold up if you yell or scream." He looked back at the others.

Jewels slowly opened the door and found Lilya in pain. She stared at her for a second then trotted over to her. "Are you alright? What happened?" She asked quietly.

Hina squirmed in his sleep. He knew Jewels had gone somewhere and he felt somewhat afraid. He got up and sniffed around. She had just gone into the others room.

The setting is on the continent of Carnon. Carnon is a huge land with many cities and different climates. Covering the land are series of species of mythical creatures, animals, and humans. It is said that under the city are underground caverns...

Cities

Mariola: A smaller, more peaceful city than the others, many people with children choose to live here. It is on the plains Mariola and the largest, and most successful, farms are started here. It it known for it's best produce and best onion buns.

Capricorn: Capricorn is a mysterious and small town in the high, misty Mountains of the War. This was where the many wars were fought to free this country from the evil people of Sharquee, their former controller. Nobody really lives in Capricorn, except for widows and the extremely poor. But, some say that the secret entrance to the underground caverns, is in one of the shops... but no one really knows.

Kolnco: The Gem of the Coast. Thats what the people call Kolnco. Its a beautiful place for vacation, retirement, or just living. The beaches are the best on Carnon and the people are friendly and kind. It's famous for it's yearly 'Fish Feast. That's when all the fishermen in the city go out and catch as many fish as they can, then they fry them all up and the entire city gets to eat all-you-can-eat fish!

Carnon City: The largest City on Carnon. Everyone who's anyone lives here. The people here are normally very very rich. But the crime rate has gone up, and the people hid to protect themselves, and their money.

South Banks Megalopolis: A huge city on the river of Ja where the crime rate is large and the death toll is also large. Many sweepers come here to earn huge bounties but are often killed in the process. Only the most elite can come here and earn the bounty.

" A sweeper only needs a genuine desire to help..."

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.

A person has gone missing and there is a very large bounty for whoever finds him. The only problem is: it's like he disappeared from the face of the Earth! No one can find him, for he is expert at hiding, and now the two sides of Bounty Hunters feud, which doesn't help find this person any faster. Evil Bounty Hunters will kill anyone that gets in their way, as good bounty hunters only kill to cover their bare necessities.

This person that has gone missing has made the Bounty Hunters angry, by stealing many of their bounties and killing many of them. This person also killed many innocent people and robbed them of their money. He is a greedy thief, and we have no idea what he's doing or where he is. And when he disappeared, the Bounty Hunters were trying their best to find him...but he just disappeared suddenly. The bounty for him has risen as the years went by-but, no one can seem to find him no matter how much riches are at stake. And the Bounty Hunters still try to find him.
