Keyla now knew this creature had wished to harm her. She turned around climbing up the nearest tree. Once at the very top her eye's had turned from light blue to a dark shade of brown. She knew that if she hadn't moved she would have been dead. When she had climbed the tree she thought she would be safe. Relief had stuck her heart knowing  that the reptile's structure would make it difficult to climb. But what she didn't know is that her claws would have fixed that problem. Her eyes had turned green as fear begun to strike her heart. The reptile had begun climbing up the palm tree she was on. Once Violet had been halfway up the tree she had jumped off twisting her leg. With her injured leg she began limping away but Violet had already climbed down uninjured. As she limped she had tripped twisting her other hind leg. Instinct made her crawl with her two front paws. Even with her extraordinary effort's she was stopped by Violet's front paw.She yelped for help but no one had seemed to care.  All she could do now is wait and hope for the best.

Violet's scales were a dangerous shade of red. Meaning she was furious and unpredictable. The rat thing's hind paws were twisted and she couldn't get away. Violet, being a efficient predator, knew she had won. this creature was obviously meant for water, and jumping out of the top of a 15 foot palm tree wasn't the smartest thing ether. Violet was angered that this thing had been spying, and that it was such a easy catch. Violet stared strait down at the rat thing, her slitted eyes grew even more narrow. She was poised to strike. She scales suddenly lost there bright red and dulled, showing just how predictable she could be. "Give me two good reasons. One: Why you were spying on us, Two: Why I shouldn't kill you right here and now." Both were age old questions, and this heat had Violet's brain fried, making her all the more unpredictable. One minute she would be sweet as a kitten, the next, ready to kill.

Unable to struggle she had no other choices but either answer her question, or not and be killed. As moronic she could be, she had made a smarter choice. Tears of fear ran down her eye's worried that even if she did answer she would be killed. She began pathetically whimpering and hesitating sounding like she was younger than she actually was. She was worried that if she looked into Violet's eye's she would finish her off. It was too hard for her to look back. She could feel Violet's claws begin to sink in deeper. She knew the longer she waited the deeper Violet's claws would go. Even with this fact she still continued to hesitate. It was only the moment her claws had dug around her heart she spoke. Waiting was pointless, she had to speak. "Please stop! I'm sorry! Please don't!" Her breathing was now extremely heavy. "I didn't mean to be rude. I was distracted by your argument and I had gotten carried away." She tried to answer her last request but she coulddn't find a reason. She could only think of an offer. "I'll do anything! Please don't kill me! I'll be your friend! I'll be your protector! I'll even be your slave! Just please don't kill me!"
Trallune, laying on his belly in the ocean, heard every word of this.  At the "I'll even be your slave!" bit, Trallune thought for a moment, and then said aloud "I could really use a slave!  I should try that some time, slow and painful killing; it seems to work wonders.  Of course, it would be difficult to invoke fear into the hearts of my prey when all my nateral weapons are geared toward a quick death.  Perhaps I could borrow you sometime, lizard?" Tralllune was antagonizing Violet on purpose, because what's the fun in leting a little rat thing die that quickly?  The hunt is half the fun.  Besides, the little rat thing's desperate sqealls had dug into Trallune's small, yet exsistent, sympathetic side.  ((I couldn't let a chracter die like that, and it didn't seem like Violet would take those shreiks as a reason not to kill Keyla.))
Violet's claws formed a cage around the rat as she saw it. It was crying and violet hated tears. It made you and anything else fell sorry for it. She paused, thinking deeply. Her eyes grew slightly unfocused and she closed her mouth. Then her eyes snapped back on the rat thing. "I'm not going to kill you." she said. she lifted her claws up and with drew a step, taking a deep breath. "I got a little mad that's all," her scales became black again, but her eyes were still narrowed. "and I'm sorry i freaked you out, but I really hate spies and I obviously don't take possible insults very well." she glanced at the kru again. Violet then turned and began to walk away. She climbed a tree and sat on a branch over looking the entire scene. She really needed to stop being so explosive, seriously, she might've done something she regretted. Besides, it was to  hot to do anything, though the sun was beginning to set.

It is late in the day and the blazeing sun is finnally setting, though cooler it is still pretty hot.

Her eye's were a mix between orange and brown. She was exhausted and relieved. She could still feel pain in her chest. She couldn't complain though. At least it wasn't as bad as it was a few moments ago. She remembered that she had promised to be a slave. It didn't bother her too much though. In fact her family was already dead and she didn't have any friends. Being around others might actually be good for her. She was still a little light headed, and her wounds were still exceptionally bad. At least they would heal on their own. Around her she had noticed it was cooler. Luckily there was no need to go back in the water. If she did go back in she knew that pain would instantly hit her. She attempted to move her legs but they were still useless. The only thing she could do was get rest. She closed her eyes and had fallen asleep in the soft, cool sand.
Trallune actually saw the heat receding as the sun set.  Now he could see, but still not too clearly.  At least he would be able to hunt warm-blooded animals.  He slowly stood up, less weak now that the tempurature was lower.  He lay back down, deciding not to hunt until the sun had set, and the tempurature was in the seventies.  He detected the slight drop in tempurature from sleep in the little rat thing, and he saw small shapes scurrying around in the jungle.  As the tempurature (and the sun) dropped, everything became more distinct.  The outline of the little rat thing became less fuzzy, and he could make out tree squid running along the beach, digging in the sand for three-eyed clams and dongalonk eggs like they did every night.  It would be a while before Trallune would be able to see the three-eyed clams and dongalonk eggs themselves, but he was getting there.

Violet perched lazily on her branch, but she knew that now was the time to hunt. It was cool out and they needed food. She climbed down a ways before leaping off the tree and trotted over to a young palm. It was about six feet high and perfect for Violets plan. She bit the trunk, causing the tree to fall, and striped the huge leaves off. Violet grabbed the large palm fronds in her mouth and trotted back towards the other two. She laid the leaves in a circular pattern. "If we are going to stick together we all need to put an effort in. There are 3 resources around here that we can eat. Meat, Fish, and clams and berries. There are three of us. You, the uh, kru, I think you should hunt. I'll fish, and rat thing, do you think you can forage?" she said. "All of our findings will go onto these leaves for us to share tonight."

Keyla tried to move her legs. They still were twisted, but not as bad. Only one of her hind legs were of good use. She slowly moved onto 3 of her feet still exhausted. But she knew it was her own fault she had gotten into this. She nodded and began foraging immediately. She wasted no time getting out of the area. She searched by an area where fruit, berries, and nut's usually grown. Looking around she had found some strange looking nut's. She gathered as much as her small body could carry. She had made several trip's to get enough fruit's and nut's to an amount that looked like it was enough for them. Now she had time to spare. The other two were still out hunting so there wasn't anyone to talk to. Now was a great time to rest. She knew she wasn't meant to be a nocturnal animal, but thoughts had kept her awake. She looked back down at her chest. It was still torn up fairly bad, the salty air didn't help either. At least she had the feeling she was now safe.
Trallune had already taken down a large Urf, a squid like animal, the tropical moose of the day, with a swift cut to the mantle, where the brain was now located.  He was brought back the upper half, where the more savory meat was located, and planned to go back to the kill in a few minutes, to see if the lower half of the animal had attracted any other carnivores.  At the moment, he was using his sensitive heat vision to find the digging jungle squid, who where rather like rodents, and kill them with a quick swipe, beheading the poor things.  When he got a large amount, he took the handfull and dumped it onto the leaf pile, then left to see if his kill had attracted anything worthwhile.  It had!  Trallune wa glad he had thought of this, because the kill, being close to the volcanic lake, had attracted a dog-sized humanoid lobster thing, which Trallune had never seen before.  It looked tasty, so, as it attempted to drag the lower half of the Urf back to the lake, Trallune snuck up behind it, and pounced, clawing at it's head (which gave off slightly more heat than the rest) to try and get it's eyes, and used his tail to get at areas where it looked like it bended, where cracks in the armor would be.  he could tell when he wa wrong, because the scratch of claw againnst exoskeleton was rather loud.  He got a few bruises, but it didn't seem that this creature was geared towards fighting.(He could tell it was a crustacean, because they all have a similar heat signature)  He brought back a few peices of the resulting mangled carcass, and then went back for the rest of it, also the other half of the Urf.
Violet had no trouble fishing. In a matter of minutes she had about 20 of the fish in a pile near the shore to take back to the pile. As an added bonus some sort of bird had tried to steal the fish just as she came up from the air. The poor thing wasn't paying attention, making her job all the more easier. She leaped at it and landed on its back. The bird tried to fly away but her weight was to much and it fell struggling to the ground. Violet sliced its throat with her claw and backed up to leave it struggle and die as she went back to fishing. Sadly, nothing else was stupid enough to try to eat the freshly killed struggling bird that a predator near by had to of killed. Violet dug and collected a few clams to top it of before carrying her kill back where the other two had already finished and were now dozing in the heat.
She looked back at Violet with a smile on her face. Finally they were finished finding food. She was grateful that now she could sit back and relax. She now didn't even notice her wounds. Her kind were very quick healers, which now seemed to be an a great advantage. The darkness of night made her very grateful. Finally the heat of the sun was gone and the cool of night had changed the air temperature. She looked down at her legs. She now could effectively move both without any trouble. Any sense of fear was washed away by relief and happiness. It felt great to have some one to look up to. Losing her freedom didn't seem much to her. In fact she felt freer than she had ever felt. She had company, the only thing that filled her up with joy. Food was already collected and night had already moved in. Now they could all relax.

Toumas swam around the water, just waking up from the day. The sun was setting beautifully, which meant this night's hunt would be excellent. Toumas always loved the hunt, it was such a thrilling thing to do. It made him feel alive. After killing some fish like creatures, and eating them of course, Toumas climbed out of the water and started heading to the forest. He looked for any prey, but the forest was quiet. This meant he was going to get bored easily, so he started pouncing on random tree roots and bushes, until he smelled freshly killed meat. When he started smelling the food, he stopped and straighted up, preparing to be intimidating. He was a Narnoctator, after all. Toumas pushed through a bush to where three other creatures were lounging around. Seeing how horribly out numbered he was, he tried to not be aggressive, no matter how much against his nature it was.

"'Ey there all, what'cha doin with that much food ferr teh three of ya?" he asked, his words sounding slightly slurred together.

She looked up to see another unfamiliar creature. She was exhausted and didn't have enough Stamina to get up. She gave a snort of discomfort. They had collected the food. Not the creature. She gave a small and short snarl. "We collected this food!" She was exhausted, but she could still move her muscles. "Go away!" She was agitated with Toumas now. She took what ever strength she had to painfully climb up the tree he was on to confront him. Once up she had almost tripped on a branch. She regained her balance and finally had reached the branch Toumas was on. "What do you want? If it's our food I'd leave. We took allot of time to collect this." She hoped she didn't upset Thoumas. "Please don't take it the wrong way, but it took allot of work to find this food." She saw Thoumas give her a cute look. She turned to Violet. "Could he eat with us?"
