Xernias and Yvital arrived at the same time as Zygarde and some strange pokemon they were unfamiliar with Mewtwo.  They saw the human and Zygarde knocked him off Somehow he landed safely. Xernias laid down head still held up and proud making himsef comfortable. Mewtwo asked him "May I sit with you?" "Certainly." "I am only here because I recieved a summons from Arceus. I am... unfamiliar with your group but you seem the most relaxed here." Yvital said "We meet once a year but we all know what is happening." She perched on a cloud perch with the other birds. These were the immortal birds all of the others of their kind were mere decendance. The immortal beast trio came and sat with Xernias as per usual.  Arceus stood proud with Giratina. Mew flopped down in Xernias's antlers. Vicinti, lake trio, and Celibi perched there too. Latias and Latios sat there with the other dragons. Mewtwo said "Does everyone sit in these groups?" Yivital shrugged and said "Yes the small ones tend to be fond of Xernias and drape themselves in his antlers." Arceus called an end to the chatter and the meeting began.

Kin was sitting in quarentine as the legends met. She was allowed to stay in a room with her pokemon. There was a pool and comfortable mats... Food a plenty too. Until her pokemon were in full health and declared clearly not infected they'd stay there. Kin however was unwell. She'd been eating raw foods and was having a hard time with the sudden amount of processed foods she'd been given. But Kalos was the place of good food so they were actually considerate and weaning her onto those foods slowly. She was close to being released. The espeon now named Psyche was sitting in her lap purring. They were warm, comfortable and safe. The guards here had guns and weapons that could fell anything but a legendary immortal pokemon. Kin was safe and sound following the advice of Xernias.

Mai had aquired several samples and passing them to the Kalos border. Someone asked if she could examine some pokemon to see if they were infected or incubating the infection. She agreed to it and saw a blond girl with several pokemon Mai had to look closely at the pokemon that naturally had red eyes a rapidash. She gave them all an exam and gave them a general bill of health regarding illness. They needed to gain some weight but that was it. They didn't even have any parasites or pokerus. Pokerus was benign but still other than the need to fatten up they were fine.

 

Kin got the good news and she was allowed into Kalos thanks to a doctor named Mai. She kissed the woman on both cheeks before mounting her rapidash and running across after putting her other pokemon in the balls. Kin was on her way. Kin went to the battle cheatu to make some money quickly. She had some reserves and brought Gin up against the grass gymleader who was visiting. She won like she had in the past with a few fire blasts and some ducking and dodging from Gin. They had some money and cleared out the cheatu earning a good haul. A downpayment on a little house in the middle of nowhere.

Mai headed back into Darkma with her crossbow at the ready and a hunting knife at her hip. Her lucario was by her side. They had pictures of the pokemon they needed to find. Mai got a telepathic message from a pokemon named Mewtwo. "I have watched you for some time Doctor. You do not seem foolish enough to keep coming back to this place without reason. I am in a meeting with the legendary pokemon then we shall discuss why you keep coming here." Mai answered "I can answer that right now, I am seeking a patient zero to get samples from so we can find a cure. I know which pokemon I need to find and my lucario friend is prepared to put them down if he has to. I have a specially altered masterball to contain one hopefully, so that I can take it to a lab for further study." "Very well doctor. I will mention you in the meeting." "I am honored." "Farewell Doctor." Mai felt the connection severed and just got back to her hunt. Shogun was by her side but she knew she was not invincible. Neither was he but they made a good team.

Kin was working in a battle restaurant and holding her own as a cook. It was a scramble to make as much money as possible as fast as possible and legally. She'd made her down payment and bought some clothes and various supplies. She could grow and harvest her own food and keep to herself in the forest. But she had to own the property. She'd bought a miltank she'd named Moo. It wasn't part of her team it was livestock. She'd also bought some mareep. Once again they were classified as livestock and did not contribute to her pokemon total. She had an old farmhouse surrounded by forest in a good fertile patch. She was flirting with a guy who had the same plan as her at work.

He was named Kotaro and his parents were also from Kanto. Kotaro was handsome dark hair and eyes, well built, with just the right amount of stubble and body hair for Kin's tastes. He had a gun and a machine to make his own ammuntiton. He was a survivalist and trained in many disciplines including a blacksmith and carpenter. He was a waiter and charming the women into giving him large tips. Kin had admitted her plans and he seemed keen on joining her. So there were two people preparing for this and they were. He had a ninetails that liked her named Rin, a zebstrika stallion Bolt, a gyrados named Rage that also seemed to like Kin, an Umbreon named Shadow, and a flygon named Hime. The two were making plans and setting up shop to weather the storm that was coming. Kin had not admitted to meeting Xernias nor did she plan to. [Kotaro is an oc meaning he can be killed without permission but I'd rather you didn't, Besides Kalos has defenses keeping infected pokemon outside it's borders. Any infected pokemon is either captured for study or more often killed on sight.] 

Mike fell and broke a leg. He lied on the ground in pain and an ambulance had come. People were putting him into the ambulance and getting ready to drive to a hospital.

 

Joe sent out emboar and made him use flame charge on the cage. It was easy to break, not pokemon proof, probably since Mike took the pokemon from the trainers right away. Joe ran out and grabbed one of the guns for protection. He then looked around the lab, and spotted a journal, he looked at an entry that read:

 

"These may be my last words, we luckily have guns, something the pokemon world has never seen to defend ourselves. If you are reading this, we need help with the corrupted pokemon. Many trainers may hate us, but we need all the help possible to stop this."

 

(Also jusst cuz its an OC doesnt mean it can be killed without permission. No characters can be killed without permission unless the creator says so, which you did)

Arceus started to speak. "We all know of the coruption that certain humans have caused... Unfortunately since it is a human made problem we can do little except give those infected a merciful end or try to cure them somehow. We have a new legendary among us. Mewtwo is the only one of his kind and I intend to give him immortality today. Mewtwo step foreward." Mewtwo rose and stepped foreward unsure of what to do. Someone said to bow or something and he did having to use his tail to keep from falling flat on his face. When Mewtwo rose he was blasted with a strange light that came not from Arceus alone but Xernias and Yvital too. Mewtwo collapsed to his knees and when he rose he returned to where he'd been sitting. "Lord Arceus everyone here for that matter thank you for this honor. I know of a human who is trying to find a cure to the coruption and I would like to help her any way I can. I have extensive knowledge of genetics. All she and I would need would be a labratory samples and one of the originally infected a oaitent zero. I can create the lab without problem but finding an originally infected pokemon will prove to be difficult. We can at least try." The other legends looked at one another. Arceus said "Directly aiding a human is dangerous but if you are willing to run the risk you may. But you must do it without our help. Unless someone else here would like to offer some form of assistance." Mewtwo turned to Mew. "We may need one of your descendants as the first pokemon on the earth that all except the other legends are descended from it would be ideal to perform some tests on your kind as the most basic... If a vaccine works on one of your kind and patient zero it should work on all infected pokemon." Mew tilted it's head and said "There is one infected mew but she can control herself. Some pokemon with particularly strong wills seem to be able to fight it off to a certain extent. The first one to even try was a ninetails I can find her if you like too. But she killed her human before she could control herself. Spared his kitten..." "That would be very helpful thank you." The meeting ended and the legends talked to the trainers giving the order to kill the infected except for a patient zero and a ninetails. Mewtwo teleported off to find that human doctor and set up shop so to speak.

Kin and Kotaro had finished work for the day and Kin remembered. She had a significant amount of money in bonds sitting in a safety deposit box in Lumos city. She went and cashed them. Turns out she was a wealthy woman after all. Her father had been a business man one of the few who went from Kalos to Darkma. Needless to say he invested in a large amount of bonds especially since his wife died. Daddy didn't want his daughter to not be cared for. Well these bonds might just keep her alive. She had enough for her house, and a retirement fund. She didn't tell Kotaro about it until after things were safely purchased and she'd set up her mailing adress. When she did Kotaro nodded and said "When do we leave?" "Soon as we have enough supplies to last until next year when we can plant. It's on a trainer route so even if things don't go to heck I can still have a restaurant or something there. I could set up a shop too." Kotaro asked "What about me?" "I'd need help with the farm... Even with my pokemon... I have plenty of rooms, I could find more people who are inclined to do what we're doing." Other people heard what they were doing and offered to pay for a place. Families nervous about when the Kalos border would fail to keep the infected out. It was just two young families. Small children and no pokemon to their names. However when they saw Kin and Kotaro had pokemon they looked nervous. Particularly Ryu, Rage and Hime.

Kin reassured them that the pokemon were strong and that Ryu had put down several infected pokemon and so had Gin. They were strong enough to protect the group. Kin was going to insist that the children did not go out unattended. Kin was the one in charge. Kin decided to get those supplies pooling the money she'd been given with her own savings to purchase and deliver everything they needed. She went another round in the cheatu to bolster more of her savings then they actually moved into the place. They had a lot of work to do...

Joe ran outside with the gun in his bag. He saw reshiram, talking to one last trainer asking a question and quickly ran to him. Reshiram was about to take off after the trainer left but spotted Joe.

 

"Make it quick kid" he snapped, "I don't want to be mean, but I gotta get back to Unova, Kalos is the only region with borders, so if those infected pokemon make it to Unova, I need to be there with Zekrom to help fight them off"

 

"Reshiram! Trust me I can help! I want to help this situation!"

 

Reshiram growled, "You best not, too dangerous. Come to Unova with me where it's safe, a kid like you won't survive out here"

 

Joe sighed, realizing Reshiram was right and got on his back. Reshiram took off towards Unova, "Hey you get to ride a legendary, pretty cool huh?" Reshiram said.

 

"Yeah" Joe muttered, dissipointed that he couldn't help.

 

 

Mai ran into Mewtwo who told her his plan. "You should be the one to solve this. You care." "I am working with the CDC to try to get this in check." "I could supply better facilities." "Just get me those samples and let me do the rest. I need a paitent zero alive. I do not want to risk any of my pokemon. I call them mine because I am taking responsibility for their wellbeing." "I am insisting bring as many collegues as you require.But I want to do this." Mai picked up a radio and Mewtwo used his powers to create a labratory. He manipulated atoms and made the complex compounds. He took everything from the surroundings and created a lab. It could hold anything. Mai had to send for the lab reports and people. Most were reluctant but a better facility had been badly needed. The gun companies had taken root and were actually trying to slow progress on a cure so they could make more money. So the people, pokemon, and everything they had so far was brought and put in. If the gun companies found out about this place they might try to attatch beuracracy to it. The CDC in the pokemon reigions had one bougus lab just to fool them. They knew about how money affected politics, medicine, education, and laws. So there was a bougus lab just to fool them. This lab was not so restricted on funding so more work could be done. Mewtwo was shaping up to be the legendary pokemon of medicine and science...

Kin actually was settling into the new place very nicely. Two younger women with children to help with the chores. Gin was helping with the little ones. There was a baby that needed entertaining. He was bringing things and showing them to her. Little Toshi was his name. His mother Hanah was sweeping while the men were out clearing places to be plowed later. There was a lake where the water types were being settled in. There was a river too.

It was a perfect setting. Ryu was marking out the property as his territory with Hime. Rin was keeping the mareep in line with Bolt and Kotaro. They had pokeballs to catch little pokemon for the children. There was a two year old little girl Yuki riding Akane around or trying to Psyche was using her powers to keep the girl from falling off. Then someone needed to have Akane pull a stump. So Yuki just jumped on Psyche. Shadow was patrolling the barn and food stores for any stray pokemon. Everyone was doing something productive. A stray shiny ponyta showed up with an infected rapidash mother. Ryu broke the mother's neck.

The mother had not infected the foal. Some things were more powerful than the sickness. Maternal instinct had won out in that case. Yuki had just grabbed a pokeball and caught the foal without permission. It was a little filly. Immediately she was christened Sapphire and Yuki actually got a bottle of milk to feed her. Kin watched the little girl run around with the ponyta and the rapidash's body burst into flames and become nothing but ash. Ryu had burns on his mouth and Kin got the apropriate berry for him and rubbed more juice onto the burns to help them heal faster. Yuki's mother had watched this frozen in fear. One or two strays slipped past the border every so often. It wasn't an onslaught of infected pokemon. Not this time. But it was a grim reminder of what could be coming. This little group would always be at risk from that but Ryu had seen it off this time. Kin took the bottle from the two year old to hold it at a better angle. She talked to the little one gently. "Don't worry little one you're in good hands." Yuki said "Let me feed her!" Kin picked the girl up so they could hold the bottle at the right angle. The little pokemon must have been starving because she drained the bottle and started eating grass. Gin had a pidgot's feather and was dangling it over the baby who was burbling. Yuki was trying to play with the ponyta. Her mother wanted to keep her away from the little pokemon. Yuki burned her hand trying to pet Sapphire. Kin said "Yuki little ponyta can't control that yet..." The little girl was looking hurt and about to cry until Kin explained that.

Joe saw the kalos region in the distance.. But reshiram didn't go near it, there was no need to. Joe looked at the kalos region, and saw lumoise tower a bit. He watched until it dissipeared into the distance.

 

"This sucks" Joe said, the borders of the kalos region reminded him about the infection.

 

"Listen, I know you wanted to help kid-" Reshiram began to talk but was cut off by Joe.

 

"Kid kid kid" Joe said in a sarcastic voice, "is that all I am to everyone! Does anybody even care about me or even care to learn my name!"

 

Reshiram's eyes widened, and he began to speak.

Mai was out looking for one of those first pokemon with Mewtwo. He had a psychic sheild up and had altered Mai's pokeball to fit what they had to do. She also had her blow darts ready. Without Shogun however they had no scent to follow... This was going to take quite a while...

 

Back with Kin they'd finished up house hold chores and Kin was actually helping to clear the field with the boys. The other women were off organizing things. Kin told them to leave the kitchen alone it was how she liked it. They'd only brought with them what they'd have available to use later. So Kin's spices and herbs were not as extensive as they used to be nor did she have much in the way of alcohol to cook with but she was perfectly fine with that. Then Gin ran back in the house and Kin followed him. Those two were messing with HER kitchen! "Hana, Izaya what are you doing?" Hana said "How can you find anything here?" Kin explained the layout and it actually made sense to them. Kin put the utensils back where she had them and said "Please don't mess with my kitchen again." Kin got back to work. A few hours later she found everything had a label... WTF... She was tempted to remove them but it was middle ground so she'd leave it. Gin however gave them a proverbial chewing out. He wanted to burn the labels. But Kin called him off. Then someone got a fly swatter and hit him with it. Kin actually rounded on that woman and said "Don't you know a ninetails never forgets someone who has wronged tham? And that person always pays for it. So I'd be nicer to him if I were you. Just because I call him Fur Brain doesn't mean you can hit him with a fly swatter. I do it with love and in annoyance you're doing it because you're angry. You never hit a pokemon in anger or to make it obey you. You forget he could set you on fire, leave you staggering around and hurting yourself, bite you, or even paralize you if he wanted to. He puts up with my antics and those of children but he expects adults to know better." "He wanted to burn my labels!" "Because he considered them an insult to me. Gin doesn't take insults to me, my other pokemon, or himself kindly. If he does something wrong I will deal with it ok?" "Fine..."

Xernias returned to his forest only to find that that human girl had formed some sort of commune there. Suicune was with him, as a drifting legendary she went where she pleased. And she was walking by his side as he used fairy glamour to hide himself and watch the humans. They were clearing the fields in advance and putting the plants they did not want to use as mulch later. The zebstrika was herding some mareep. There was a miltank, the ashes of an infected rapidash cooling. When a fire type that had flames on it's body died they more often than not burst into flames. Unless they died by having that fire snuffed out namely suffocation or drowning. He was only gone for a couple days and an infected pokemon has slipped past the border. But there was something stonger than the taint a mother's love. She had not infected her daughter. Now the foal had found another home. He knew he'd liked that one human for a reason. She had just found a little lost soul and without much thought taken it in and gave it a home.

Suicune said "This is that human right?" "Yes it is." "She seems sweet. They forgot a grindstone to make flour though..." "How would you know that?" "I am considered the incarnation of the wind, humans with windmills like me. I wanted to know why so I watched the humans. Grain goes into the windmill flour comes out. They use the flour for making things they eat." The wind incarnate explained a grind stone. Xernias nodded mildly curious about how humans did things. Then he saw someone building one of those windmill things. They had no fruit trees so Xernias started growing them for no apparent reason. They grew into maturity and the humans noticed. The girl said it must have been him. It was considered his and Yvital's forest. The other humans seemed somewhat upset at the mention of his counterpart...

"Joe, listen, you're not just a kid. You see-" Reshiram was cut off

 

"You know my name?" Joe asked.

 

"Of course," Reshiram said, "I've known you since you first started your journey in sinnoh, I know about how you beat the pokemon league in every region besides kanto, and darkma, if i can even call that a 'region' anymore, the league there was destroyed and they are still repairing it"

 

Joe suddenly remembered that he had seem a large white pokemon in the distance when he first left his house in twinleaf town to get his first pokemon, chimchar.

 

"But, why would you watch my journey? I thought nobody cared about me" Joe asked.

 

"Because, Arceus saw potential in you, and we knew you'd become a great trainer, and you sure did! We knew you would be important somehow, sometime. We just didn't know when or how it would happen, but we could tell." Reshiram replied.

 

"Then why can't I help with this problem! Maybe this will be the when and how!" Joe asked.

 

"Well, this doesn't rely on the skills you had as a trainer, one bite and you loose that pokemon forever, using pokemon against these infected is not good. You gotta survive with how strong YOU are, and you can't survive without your pokemon kid, too weak.

 

Joe growled and jumped off. Reshiram watched with shock and glided down to save him.

 

"I'm gonna help!" Joe said, "let me prove to the world I can fend for myself! Let me help this world and stop being under appreciated!"

 

Reshiram sighed,  "Ok then, your funeral, I'll let you try to help, i may be wrong, maybe you can help!" he said, "Lets go to the most protected region so you can plan, Kalos.

 

Reshiram flew to Kalos and dropped Joe off near a small family's house, "See if they can help you, you must find help yourself, there might be somebody inside that can help you." He then flew back to Unova, knowing Kin was inside.

In a region called Darkma, many bad things happened in this region before, but nothing this bad. Pokemon from all regions can be found here and we may go to other regions later in the rp.

This is where team plasma's new lab is, high on a mountain near legend town. Above this town on a huge cloud all the legendaries meet as well. Legend Town is the only named town, as a lot of towns were destoryd in the past and had to be rebuilt, people didn't bother to name them. This town has survived disasters in the past because it's legendaries protect it. But can they this time?

Many trainers, gym leaders, elite 4 members, and teams from other regions come here sometimes.

Team Plasma has joined back together and have made a chemical that makes pokemon disobey their trainers. They swore that once it was a sucesss they would set their pokemon free. They tested it on their own pokemon and, these pokemon did more than disobey them. They tried to kill them. They vicously attacked them. They showed no mercy, unlike wild pokemon that just fight your pokemon as self defense.

After a few team plasma scientists died, the pokemon went to attack other trainers. The trainers sent out their pokemon to fight back these pokemon, but their pokemon were bitten and turned evil as well. You see, when ever one of these pokemon bites another pokemon, it becomes corrupted as well. It also turned out these scientists had special guns and weapons for emergencies in their equipment. In their lab they have hidden equipment like guns and knives and other things the pokemon world has never seen!

Tons of trainers have lost their pokemon and even more had died trying to fight the pokemon off themselves. Many of these corrupted pokemon have recieved many nasty wounds and scars from trainers using knives agaisnt them.

It's all explained in the plot pretty much.

4. Canon characters and OC's are allowed, but if you are to be canon, you should act like how that character would act. So if you be Ash don't act like he's all tough and mean because he isn't. Also if somebody is already a canon character, you can't be that character. I suggest OC's anyways.

 

5. If your pokemon is bitten by a corrupted pokemon, it becomes corrupted and it's pokeball shatters, removing it from your party. However if the pokemon hasn't taken much damage it's body can fight off the corruption, but if it is badly injured or low on health then it will take affect.

 

6. Only 6 pokemon in your party at once.

 

7. You can't own a legendary.

 

8. Pokemon can use any moves they learn in the game. So no worries about limited moves.

 

9. I will be roleplaying as the original test subjects.
