Charley felt Natasha brush against him. He felt himself calm after her interference. A woman's touch was perfect for a tense moment between men. Charley looked at Natasha as she introduced herself to the Snow Angels. Clicking his gun into the holder, Charley put his right arm around Natasha, pulling her in closer for warmth, affection, and just in case the Snow Angels in front of them tried to pull something. "She's your girlfriend?" asked the lead Snow Angel. "And is that all she has to her name?" he asked. "First, what does it look like, and second, that's all she wants to give to her name," said Charley. The lead Snow Angel chuckled with a smirk. He then approaching Charley. "I like this guy, he's got guts and cajones," said the Snow Angel. He was a year older than Charley. "Reece," said the Snow Angel, holding out his hand to Charley. Charley reluctantly shook it with his left hand. "Welcome to the Arctic, our frozen abode," said Reece. Charley was a little surprised at what Reece said. "We're in the Arctic? Wow, my power must've went too far," said Charley. "You're right, and summoning it in the time you did was dangerous, reckless, and could've proven to be fatal, young Dark Angel," said the older Dark Angel. Charley stared at the Dark Angel. "You let him stay here, why?" asked Charley. "He needed a place to stay," said Reece. "Do you know who he is?" asked Charley. Reece surprisingly shook his head. "No. He's been living with us for ten years and not once have we seen his face or known his name," said Reece. Charley was confused. He then glanced at the older Dark Angel. "Tell me, who are you? Why aren't you revealing your true identity? Are you a rogue, on the run from the Angel Poachers and the humans?" asked Charley. "No," said the older Dark Angel. "Then why haven't you come clean yet?" asked Reece. The older Dark Angel glanced from Reece to Charley. He sighed afterward. "You say you're Leader Storm, right?" asked the older Dark Angel. "Yeah," said Charley. The older Dark Angel cautiously stepped toward Charley. He seemed to be trying to get a better look at Charley's face. Charley heard the older Dark Angel gasped suddenly. "What? What is it?" asked Charley, looking from Natasha, to Reece, to the older Dark Angel. "It can't be," said the older Dark Angel. Charley wondered what he was up to. ".....Charley......Charles Bryant Reggie Storm...." said the older Dark Angel. Charley stepped back in shock, his heart racing. "How'd you know my whole government name?"asked Charley.
The older Dark Angel dropped his metal staff. Charley could hear the older gentleman sobbing. Reece was shocked as well. Everyone held their breath as the older Dark Angel went for the mask, grasping it with both hands. When the mask dropped to the floor, grasps went up. Charley looked from the mask to the older Dark Angel's revealed face. Elbow-length black dreads fell from the older Dark Angel's head, tumbling around his face. Charley saw a pair of dark-brown eyes filled with tears looking back at him. The older Dark Angel was brown-skinned like Charley, having a thick black beard. Charley went limp, recognizing the older Dark Angel's face from ten years ago, scratch the thick beard and dreads. Charley was looking at somewhat of an older image of himself. "No," whispered Charley, feeling his heart skip a beat as the tears worked their way to the fore. "Charley....I've been waiting for this day for ten years," said the older Dark Angel. "I'm Reggie Storm, former leader of 'The Archs'.....and your long-lost father," said Reggie, leaking a tear. Charley was speechless. It took him a minute to whisper the word "dad" before he rushed forward, embracing his now weeping and estranged father. "Dad," sniffled Charley. "Hey, son," said Reggie.
It was strange how things could change in a time lapse of barely 24 hours.Sem stared the white ceiling and wondered if everything would ever be back to normal. After a long hike and a few moments of clinging to Noel while he flew, they had found a small and isolated house where Sem could stay for the night. The house looked as if it was not far away from collapsing, but the old man with a face full of scars and very light blue eyes had ensured Sem it would be save. That was all the man had said before he dissapaired, leaving the flabbergasted Angel poacher in his room.Noel had said that he would come back tomorrow morning to check on him.Sem was not completely sure if the long haired Angel was concerned about him or if he just saw it as a cure for his boredom. But it did not matter, he could stay for the night and Noel would came back in the morning, probably with some information.Yet, Sem felt far away from reassured. There was this strange little voice in his head that kept telling that his uncle was lurking around somewhere, alive and well.
It dark by the time Noel finally reached the the base.He tiptoed inside, since if he flew the flapping of his wings could be heard and did not want to take that risk. The other Angels did not have to know what he had been up to.He grabbed some food from the kitchen and while chewing he made his way over to his room.Tomorrow morning he would question some Angels about what had really happened today. Now it was his main priority not to be discovered roaming the hallways at night.
Charley couldn't believe it. Here was Reggie Storm, his long-lost father, looking like the Jamaican Grizzly Adams from a spin-off of Legion. "I can't believe you're alive," said Charley. "I can't believe you've grown this tall and muscular like your grandpa once did," said Reggie, wiping a tear from his eye. Charley smiled. "You've been here for ten years?" asked Charley. "I have," said Reggie. "Why didn't you come back and tell me you were alright?" asked Charley. "Because, son, I had to make you believe I was dead in order for you all to catch Rhaymis," replied Reggie. Charley blinked in surprise before looking back at Natasha. She had her head down. Charley looked back at his father. "Rhaymis is dead, dad," said Charley. "But why did you need to fake your death?" he asked. "I could sense Rhaymis wasn't going to pull a thing until I was out of the way," said Reggie. "So, I left him out as bait, and it seems my own flesh and blood finished him off," he said. "No, it wasn't me that did it," said Charley. "Rhaymis almost killed me in the barn," he said. "Then who did it?" asked Reggie. Charley smirked and walked over to Natasha. "This lovely, skillful, cunning, and lethal young woman right here," said Charley. Reggie and the others gasped in surprise. "Oh come on, she's not going to bite...unless you bite her first," said Charley, smiling. "You mean she took out that traitorous old grump?" asked Reece. Charley nodded. Reggie walked up to Natasha, holding her head up so he could look into her eyes. He was way taller than her, dwarfing the Dark Angel female. Even Charley was surprised. "Young lady, you are officially a hero and have taken a seat on my good side," said Reggie. He smiled and embraced Natasha. Charley's smile went away as he thought of Natasha lashing out. He wanted to stop his dad, but halted. What if all she needs is some fatherly attention? Charley asked himself. Charley stood back and watched with a smile. When Reggie released Natasha, he picked up his staff and looked at his son.
"My son took after his old man," said Reggie. "I'm proud," he said. "Thanks, dad," said Charley. "I even kept your twin blades sharpened and cleaned after every fight," he said. "That's my boy," said Reggie. "I love the whole family reunion thing, but now that you're here and Rhaymis is dead, we need to focus on the matter at hand," said Reece. "You mean the humans and the Angel Poachers?" asked Charley. "And the fact that they used Bullet Hounds to kill two of my own teammates?" he asked. "Bullet Hounds? Angel Poachers can't control Bullet Hounds," said Reece. Charley and Reggie looked at Reece in shock. "What?" asked Reggie. "The Bullet Hounds are not the attack dogs of the Angel Poachers. They weren't even created by them," said Reece. "Well who were they created by?" asked Charley. "The angels century-old enemies....the Lethrblaks," said Reece. Charley cocked his head. "What the hellabit are Lethrblaks?" he asked. "Oh no," said Reggie. He sat down. Charley glanced at him. "What's wrong?" asked Charley. "Lethrblaks were thought to have been defeated and thrown into extinction a century ago, but it seems they're back with a vengeance," said Reggie. "They're a nation of putrid, wrinkle and lime-skinned people that can fly like us, but they're wings are bat-like, demonic looking," he said. "The Lethrblaks have wicked earth-wielding powers that can probably bring one state after another crashing down," said Reece. Charley had to take it all in. "An age-old enemy that's making an uprise in secretcy," he said to himself. "So they're pets are the Bullet Hounds?" asked Charley. "Yes," said Reece and Reggie. Charley sighed.
"Then the Angel Poachers didn't take Ricardo and 'The Archs'," said Charley, looking at Natasha. Reggie looked up at Charley in horror. "'The Archs' are missing?" he asked, standing up. "Yes," said Charley. Reggie growled, striking the ice cave wall with hi metal staff. "Darn it!" he shouted. "I should've known those freaks would capture our most trusted angels," said Reggie. He then turned to Natasha. "Is she an archangel?" asked Reggie. Charley was about to answer, but paused. Should I lie and say she is, or say she's a rogue and get them upset, which we don't need? He thought. Charley looked at Natasha and said, "No...but she will be soon...hopefully." And hopefully that was a save from me getting punched in the jaw later on, thought Charley. Reggie looked at Reece. "We need to go discuss this with Elder Shard immediately," said Reggie. "Right, and he'll be gratified to know that you've finally shown yourself," said Reece, walking into the tunnel with the other Snow Angels. One of the Snow Angels, a disguised one and definitely a male, eyed Charley and Natasha accusingly. Reggie didn't see it, but Charley did and he was sure Natasha saw it too. The eff is his problem? Charley wondered. The Snow Angel followed the others. "Come, we need to discuss this now, son," said Reggie. Charley nodded and gently grabbed Natasha's hand, following his father into the tunnel. Reggie smirked, with his eyes flashing black with magic. Charley suddenly felt something brush against his mind. "Who's there?" he wondered. "Your father, that's who. Since we're related by blood, we can communicate using telepathy," thought Reggie. "Amazing," thought Charley. "Son, I sensed your girlfriend has had a rough life...I want to speak with her when we're settled," thought Reggie. Charley sighed. "It's personal, but I'll see if she wants to," thought Charley.
The Alpha Bullet Hound was atop of Helvetica, with the Fiery Angel under his large body. Cornelius, Benjamin, and the Alpha team showed up, gasping in surprise as they saw the scene before them. "Helvetica!" shouted Cornelius, flying over to the Alpha Bullet Hound. Karen shot forward, snatching out her taser and grabbing Cornelius, yanking him back "Wait," she said to her son. The rest of the Alpha Team killed the injured Bullet Hounds using their powers as Karen, Cornelius, and Benjamin slowly walked up to the Alpha Bullet Hound. "Is it dead?" asked Benjamin, terrified of seeing such a savage looking beast. Karen jabbed the Alpha Bullet Hound with the tip of her boot. When the beast didn't move, she tasered it. It still didn't budge. "It's dead," said Karen. Satisfied, Cornelius flew to the Alpha Bullet Hound's side and blasted it into the trees using his dark magic. Helvetica was revealed, two throwing tasers in her grasp. They were standing up in the air, covered in black charred blood. Helvetica herself was alive and unscathed, except for a cut over her right brow. The Fiery Angel looked at Cornelius. "Thank you, I'd lost the strength to blow him off," she said, putting down the tasers. Cornelius let out a sigh of relief and helped Helvetica to her feet. The two shared a kiss. Benjamin looked up at Karen, who watched not like an overprotective mother, but an understanding and happy mother. Helvetica and Cornelius embraced. "I thought I lost you," said Cornelius. "I'm hard to kill, remember?" asked Helvetica, pecking Cornelius on the cheek. She then looked around. "Are they all dead?" she asked. "Yes," said Sarone. "What happened here?" asked Jovtia. "Charley teleported," said Helvetica. "What?" asked them all in shock. "Yeah, he teleported himself and a red-haired Dark Angel woman away before the Bullet Hounds could get to them," said Helvetica. Benson, Corey, and Saron studdied the scarred ground where Charley and the red-haired angel had been. "Natasha," said Benson. "He was trying to save himself and Natasha," he said. Cynthia rolled her eyes, but made sure no one saw it. "He knew they'd be dead if he tried to fight the Bullet Hounds," she said. "Where'd they go?" asked Benjamin. "Charley's never used teleportation before, so I'm guessing anywhere in the world," said Benson. "And by the way it came and went, that teleportation move was life-threatening," said Sarone, crouching to examine the ground. "He could've killed himself," he said. "He could be dead right now with Natasha crying over his body," said Sarone. "Yeah, let's not talk about that," said Corey. He looked around. "Charley must really love Natasha to have done that out of the blue," said Corey. "Can you teleport, mom?" asked Cornelius. "A little," said Karen, rubbing her son's head. Helvetica was standing near the dead Alpha Bullet Hound. She was stunned that she'd killed it in one move. Benjamin and Cornelius joined her side. "Where do you think these things came from?" asked Benjamin. "All I know is, the Angel Poachers never created them," said Cornelius. "True," said Helvetica. "But they were inside the facility, weren't they?" asked Benjamin. "Yeah, but not by the Angel Poachers' orders," said Helvetica. She looked at Benjamin. "Somebody's in league with the Angel Poachers, and they're using the Angel Poachers to get to the angels," said Helvetica. "By killing us with the Bullet Hounds," said Cornelius. "Well who's doing it?" asked Benjamin. "The same fiends who took your father and 'The Archs'," replied Sarone. All eyes were on the Cloud Angel. "The Angel Poachers aren't very bright to come up with a master predator like these Bullet Hounds," said Sarone. "In fact, they're not man-made, but creature-made," he said. "And what creatures made them?" asked Helvetica. "By the way they're designed, my guess is our old enemy," said Sarone. Corey, Benson, Jovita, Cynthia, John, and Karen looked at him in fright. "No, it can't be them, they're extinct," said Cynthia. "Or at least we thought they were," said Sarone. "I was tipped off about this happening, but never really believed it until I saw what happened to Bishop and Antonio," said Sarone. He looked over at Helvetica, Cornelius, and Benjamin. "This is the work of the Lethrblaks, our most feared and number enemy," said Sarone. "And they have something the Angel Poachers don't," he said. "What, Alpha Bullet hounds and better secretcy?" asked Helvetica. "That....and wings," said Sarone, with the three young angels' eyes bulging in surprise.
(Oh Sugar Honey Ice Tea! That was some boss moves, Kat! You made me laugh at the "You're disgusting" part.)
Charley watched as the attacker he shot fell to the floor. Charley watched as his father hurried past him, leaping with a yell and dropkicking the angel he punctured in the throat. The angel flew back, jarring his back on the wall and falling to the floor, dead. Reggie righted himself and snatched the staff out of the dead attacker's throat. "Nice," said Charley. "Who do you think you get it from?" asked Reggie. Charley chuckled. "What am I doing with him Charley?" asked Natasha. Charley turned and looked at her. Her eyes were trained on the angel she subdued, entirely. She kept the gun aimed at her injured attacker, and he knew she didn't want to waste the bullets of her own. "You're disgusting," she said to the angel. Natasha growled, pushing the barrel of the gun threateningly into his temple. Charley rushed to Natasha's side, touching the left side of her face. He used his dark magic to quickly heal her cut and then aimed his gun at the attacker's forehead. "Start talking, fool," demanded Charley. Reece and the other Snow Angels ran back to them. "What the what just happened?" asked Reece, surprised. "Your three rookies aren't Snow Angels, and I would think one of the best forces of the angel race would keep tabs on the angels they have," snapped Charley. Reggie aimed his blade at the attacker's throat. "Remove his mask," said Reggie. Charley's eyes glowed jet black. The mask covering the attacker's face was surrounded in dark aura. It suddenly flew off his face, hitting the ground.
Charley, Reggie, and the others stared back at the attacker. He was lime-green with beady yellow eyes, sharp brown teeth, mangy hair, and bad breath. The white feathering dropped from his wings, revealing a pair of bat-like wings. "He's a Lethrblak," said Reggie, pushing his blade an inch closer, causing the creature to grunt in fright. Charley wanted to shoot the Lethrblak, but he needed answers. "You and your buddies thought you could just try and assassinate two of the best and highly trained young Dark Angels on earth, huh?" asked Charley. The Lethrblak stared back at Charley. "You all deserve to die," gurgled the creature. "Yeah well you're not getting that wish anytime soon, so start talking before you end up like thing one and thing two behind us," said Charley. The Lethrblak looked up at Natasha, shuddering from the gun wounds she gave him. "Why didn't you just let us take him out, lady?" asked the creature. Charley smirked, stepping down on the creature's chest with his right foot. The Lethrblak grunted and gasped in pain. "Talk," demanded Reggie. "We are rising," said the creature. "We're becoming an armada of evil, just waiting to leap forward as soon as the angels loose their focus," said the Lethrblak. "That's why we formed them, to distract you all long enough for my kind to return and wipe you all out so that we can take over the humans," he said, his voice raspy. "And just what did the humans do to you?" asked Reggie. "They think their so high and mighty, just like you angels, but they know when a superior presence is upon them," said the Lethrblak. He looked over at Reece and the other Snow Angels. "We needed to take down the head of the angel faction, along with their eyes, ears, and weapons," said the Lethrblak. Charley looked from the creature to Reece to Reggie. "The Snow Angels are at the top, meaning if they were taken out, that would sure lead to the rest of us following," said Charley.
"Smart, Dark Angel," growled the Lethrblak. Another boot stuck the Lethrblak across the jaw, causing the creature to wail in pain. "I brought you around my family and friends! Took you in, thinking you were fellow Snow Angels!" yelled Reece, grabbing the creature by the throat. The Lethrblak smiled evilly. "That was the plan, Reece," he said. "Wait, you said eyes, ears, and weapons of the angels?" asked Reggie. "Yes," said the Lethrblak. "What does that mean?" asked Reggie. Charley understood. "'The Archs'," he said. "Right again, Leader Storm," said the Lethrblak, laughing. Reece moved away as Reggie brought the blade tip right on the Lethrblak's Adam's apple. "What's to say we don't kill you?" asked Reggie. The Lethrblak looked up at him. "Yeah, why don't we feed him to our pets," said Charley. "What pet? The Bullet Hounds will be sure to rip you all to shreds, including your prescious pets, children, and women!" snapped the Lethrblak. Reece turned to the gates and whistled loudly. Charley and Reggie looked to the entrance with the Lethrblak. A large flapping sound arrived. "What is that?" asked Charley. "Just a pet," said Reece. Suddenly, a large, white avian predator, a little bigger than a Bullet Hound, appeared at the gates, squawking angrily with a deadly curved beak, black talons, and large accusing eyes. The Lethrblak's eyes bulged in horror. "Oh no," he said. "Talk or be fed to the beast," said Reggie. "Okay, I'll tell you anything you need to know," pleaded the Lethrblak. Moments later, he was pulled up, binded, and led through the gates by the other Snow Angels, with Charley, Reggie, and Natasha following.
Noel had finally figured out why it had been so easy to sneak back in in the middle of the night without being noticed.
After he had woken up, had rummaged through the kitchen in his search for breakfast Noel had already thought it was strange that he still had not seen anyone around. And when he actually went searching for someone, he could not find a living soul. The building was completely abandoned and Noel just stared with a blank expression.''What a bummer...''He did not show any concern, the snow Angel strugged his small shoulders and went looking for useful stuff that the other Angels may have left.
Â
Meanwhile at the almost collapsed excuse of an house Sem was having a really awkward staring contest with the old man. Those very noticable light blue eyes seemed to stare right through his soul but Sem did not waver. He saw those rough white lines cover every inch of the man's face and wondered how he had gotten them. The man wondered why the heck the boy had a slight blush tinting his cheeks. The sound of a door opening made the both of them look up from their little contest. The blonde Angel walked in like he had always been there and tossed a bag in Sem's direction. His gaze flicked from Sem, to the old guy and then back to Sem before speaking.''The building was empty, this was all I could find.''
The Angel poacher peeked into the back and gasped when he catched a glipse of a few weapons and some food.''What do you mean with-.''Just like I said...empty.''Noel stretched his wings, smiling coldly at the man who's eyes narrowed.''Walking in like she owns the place.''He muttered.''Your blonde Angel girlfriend sure has some guts. She must be the man in your relationship.''The taller boy dropped the bag, slammed his head on the table and made some choking noises.Noel tilted his head in a childish way and and stroked some of his hair out of his eyes.''I am a boy.''The man looked at the bold Angel and then at the shivering boy who desperately tried to hide his face in the table.''Doesn't matter, blondie would still be the man in your relationship.''Sem almost died of emerrassment while Noel simply smirked.
''Sem, when you're done dying can we please go? I want to find the others and you're coing with me.''Â
Charley put his gun away and looked at the Lethrblak as they entered an underground city. Charley was amazed. The city had its own special underground light, a built in sun perhaps. The white avian predator soared above them. Charley noticed that the icy ceiling was a thousand feet above. It was enough for the bird to fly around. "What do you call that thing?" asked Charley. "A Lethrblak, duh," said Reece. Charley sucked his teeth. "Not this thing, the bird up there," said Charley. "Oh...why, would you like one?" asked Reece, looking back at Charley. Charley didn't know what to say. "I mean I guess so," he said, shrugging his shoulders. "Great, after we lock this ugly beast up, we can stop by the aviary on our way to see Elder Shard," said Reece. "Cool," said Charley. He poked Reggie. Reggie glanced at him. "I would love to ride one of those," said Charley. Reggie chuckled. "You have wings of your own, son," said Reggie. "I know, but riding one of those would keep my wings relaxed," said Charley. He looked at Reece. "You still didn't tell me what its called," he said. "She's or her species is called a Raptrid," said Reece. "They were developed by the Snow Angels fifty years ago and now their species are thriving here in the Arctic," he said. "Wow," said Charley. "Putrid things," cursed the Lethrblak. "You're one to talk, smelling like horse scat," said Charley, slapping the Lethrblak upside the head. Reggie and Reece laughed as the other Snow Angels chuckled. Charley saw other Snow Angels flying around and running errands. Their home was beautiful.
He noticed they all wore warm clothing, though. All Charley had on was S.W.A.T. team looking gear, but it didn't keep him warm in this weather. Charley saw that Natasha had on just leather. "Hey, Reece, would leather be alright for this climate?" asked Charley. "Only for a few hours out in the snow, but down here, she'll still need to dress warmer...and you as well," said Reece. "I figured that," said Charley. "You guys take the Lethrblak to his cell while the lady and I find some decent attire," he said. Reggie and the others halted. That was enough for the Lethrblak to growl and strike out, head butting one of the Snow Angels and kicking another in the side. Reece sighed and ducked as the Lethrblak round kicked at him. Reece righted himself and was about to strike when Charley right hooked the Lethrblak in the jaw, knocking him to the ground. Charley tightened the Lethrblak's wrist bounds, as well as tying his ankles and wings together. "There, he shouldn't be much of a problem," said Charley. The Lethrblak cursed at them all. "But you might want to ducktape his mouth," said Charley. He clapped Reggie on the back.
Reggie nodded at him. "Hurry back," said Reggie. "We will," said Charley. He then smiled as he saw a clothing market. Charley waited for Reece, Reggie, and the other Snow Angels to take the Lethrblak away before pulling Natasha to the side. "You heard the man, leather won't just do," said Charley. "I can feel the cold through this gear, and I don't think my wings will work properly unless we get the right gear," he said. "Let's go get some before that Lethrblak finds a way to wiggle out of their hands and start to roll toward the entrance," said Charley, smiling. He headed for the clothing store, ruffling his wings.
North America, Russia, the Arctic, and Antarctica.
During the spring time, you began to feel funny. Your shoulders and back began acting to the point where you needed to see a doctor. After running tests on you, you are forced into a truck, binded, and sedated. When you wake up, you discover that you are in a facility with a dozen others. Suddenly, your back and shoulders start to ache again. This time, a pair of wings rip free from your back.
You are an Aerodynamic Naturalized Godly Effected Leader: a.k.a- A.N.G.E.L. After finding out you're an angel, you see that the others are angels as well. No, you're not a heavenly angel from up above, but a mutant or war angel, living on earth. You are being kept quarantine with the other young angels, away from civilization, until one day, you're broken out by a mercenary team of angels called "The Archs". You learn that there is a whole nation of angels out there, but there are different types of angels.
Cloud Angels- Angels that have gray or brown feathered wings. These angels spend their time flying through the clouds, hence their name, and are known to live in high establishments. They even have the power to control wind or air-like moves.
Dark Angels- Angels that have dark blue or black feathered wings. These angels spend their time flying at night through the starry sky, leaping from the shadows and easily dispatching their foes. Their homes consist of caves and even underground tunnels. They have the power to control dark magic.
Snow Angels- Angels that have white or even light blue feathered wings. These angels spend their time soaring through blizzards, ice storms, or gliding over snowy mountains in search for stranded survivors, food, or lost equipment. They are also known as Ice Angels or Light Dwellers. Their homes consist of igloos, snowy mountains, or even well-built castles upon the snow. They have the power to control snow, ice, healing powers, and illumination.
These three types may bicker among each other, but they are usually allies. When it comes to their enemies, the humans, they form together to fight. War is coming, and you and your friends are caught in the middle. Band together and fight the Angel Poachers....and whoever is in league with them....before your species is wiped out.
For years, angels have been living in secret among the human population. They've been around since the dawn of time. It is a strand in their DNA that gives them the powerful wings and abilities they have. Anyone can be born with it. Later in the years, people began to think the strand was becoming a disease, and created a serum to overpower to strand in humans. The angels became furious and yet terrified that they would lose their powers. The feud began, with some angels even getting captured. Now, when people are born with the strand, they are immediately checked into a hospital and taken to the facility known as Area 1147512. The angels that have escaped and/or survived have now teamed up, banded together, and have flown to secret locations to plot against the human race. "The Archs" are their mercenaries, and are coming to rescue any angel, young or old, in trouble.
There is also a prophecy. Three angels, who stand against the war, will be chosen and become the "Angelic Trio", with their wings changing from gray, white, or black to either silver or gold.
Also, there was a time where the angels had a viscious enemy upon their hands. The Lethrblaks, a race of ugly, green, almost reptilian-like creatures with bat-like wings, were the sole enemies of the angels. After a great war between them, the Lethrblaks were believed to have been thrown into extinction and erased from the world...or so was thought.
