''Asai!''

Asai removed his hand from his alarm clock only to find out that it wasn't his alarm that had awoken him. Confused, Asai turned his head to read the time displayed on the small screen. His eyes flew open, he had overslept. Still, it was way too early for the dark-haired boy to get up, go to school and be productive today. So instead of even trying to still be on time he grabbed his dark blue sheets and pulled it over his head. He could easily miss first period.

''Asaaaaiiii! Get that lazy ass out of bed, now!'' The angelic voice of his mother called from downstairs. Pulling the sheets down Asai's tired eyes blinked against the intruding light. ''I didn't knew I had my mom as alarm clock.''

''Asaaaaiiii!'' he mumbled something before answering. ''Yes, I am getting dressed!'' Dragging himself out of bed he rumaged through his closet, found some random clothes and headed downstairs. His little sister Chy saw him and giggled, causing him to raise an eyebrow. ''What's so funny?'' The little red-head kept giggling and pointed at his hair. ''Yeah, I know it's a mess...'' Asai replied and inspected the milk carefully before taking a little sip.

''Nooow....hihi...you're a bunny-rabbit!'' She said and clapped her hands. ''I am what now?''  His hand flew to his head and felt his curly black locks before touching something hairy and soft. ''Bunny-rabbit!'' Chy repeated and reached out to touch his ears. But Asai was faster. The next thing that was heard was the slam of a door and a startled scream.

(just gonna skip the room part, its messy, and lets just say she had a hard time cleaning up before she went downstairs.) Storm walked downstairs with her cute litte pet, Cocoa, and sneaked into her sister's room. she quickly stole her devil horns hat and then walked downstairs, just to annoy her. she petted Cocoa softly and walked into the kitchen, looking for Lola. Lola shrieked and pointed at Storm. "What?" Storm said shyly. " A TAIL!" Then Lola ran out of the room, ignoring the fact Storm was wearing her hat. Storm rolled her eyes and walked to the mirrior. lets just say Storm freaked, and Cocoa stayed on her finger the entire time.

''NonononononoNoooo~!!''

Asai hopped from one feet to the other, shear panic written all over his face.Desperately he tried to cover up the long black rabbit-like ears with his hands but it just would not work.Making some weird coking noises, he slowly removed his hands and stared at his reflexion in the mirror.

Whas this some kind of joke?he tried to pull the ears off and winched when it hurt.They were REALLY stuck to his head!All colour suddenly drained from his face when he heard the sound clothes being ripped.It came from his,erm,back side.

He turned around, twisted himself so that he could catch a glimse of his back...and a flunny black cotton-tail.Did it just went through his jeans?!

Asai fainted.

Storm screeched and clutched her ears. She was in her room, staring at the mirror. She stared at her ears, and realized they were dog's ears. My favorite animal, she thought. She flicked her ears up and down. Wow! This is actually fun! She smiled and looked at her tail. She wagged it, and moved it to look like a belt and then a mowhawk. She tucked her tail away and flattened his ears and realized she looked fine. Just keep the hat in and she was fine. She walked downstairs with a smirk on her face.

Asai woke by the sounds of heavy knocking and his mother's screams.Shakily,the boy grabbed the edge of the sink and pulled himself up.His head was hurting so bad and he felt dizzy.''I am fine, mom...I just slipped!''He called to reasure his mother.

''Oh,''He heard from behind the door.She was probably embarrassed that she had made such a fuss only to find out that he had slipped.''...Well, you already missed your first hour, get moving already!''

''Yes mom, one minute please.''Asai carefully took a peek in the mirror and then took a deep breath.Rabbit-ears=check.''I still have to go to school,''He closed his eyes and slumped against the wall.He was luckily a bit calmer now.''And I can't let anyone see...this!''

He unlocked the door,crawled through the hallway like a ninja...-or at least tried to crawl through it like a ninja- and went to his room to retrieve a that baseball-cap he had never worn.Then he changed into another pair of jeans and tucked his fluffly cotton-tail in it sideways.

''I hope that will do.''

Storm walked down the stairs, flattening her ears hard against her head. They were itching, and if someone saw them she was dead. She looked at Cocoa and she was pecking her watch. she looked at her watched and realized she was late. That explained why there was no one in the house. She got her backpack together and took off the hat and put on a headband to make her ears look like part of it and ran outside. She went back in and put on her sneakers. She got on her bike and clipped her helmet on, putting Cocoa poised in the front. She zoomed past her friends house and only stopped when she reached school. She panted heavily and ran to the front of the school. She parked her bike and ran to the door.Locked. The next thing she knew she was in the principal's office, her parents on the phone, and Cocoa, disappointed on her forehead.

As calm as possible Asai walked back to the kitchen and was greeted by the sight of very hyper little sister and a stressed out mother.When Chy saw him she uttered a cry of ''Bunny rabbit!!'' and ran over to her big brother, jumping up and down to take off his baseball cap.Asai kept his head out of her reach and looked in his school diary while his mother got Chy ready for school.

He had missed first period,which was mathematics.Asai smirked, he actually did not mind it very much.But now he had to go to that woman in that small chamber to explain why he missed it.No problem, she was a nice old lady.Let's see next period is...History!

Unconsciously a big smile was printed on his face and his hidden rabbit-ears twitched slightly under his cap.Stay down you two!!

Asai loved history.He took a quick glance at the clock to his left and grabbed his black backpack and made himself some sandwiches before heading out.''I am going, see you later!''

''Bye bye bunny-rabbit!''

Asai searched frantically in his pockets, where was the key for his bike?Nevermind, he could still make it if he ran.Yes! he could run!Suddenly Asai felt very energetic and lively.After having ran one block he still showed no signs of fatigue and he was fast.''Wow, I must really like history!''He thought.''I am such a nerd....''

He reached school, heard the school bell ring and literally ducked into the classroom while tightly keeping his cap on place.He was the first!His history teacher, a tall young man turned around semi-surprised.''Oh Asai, you're fast.''

His shyness kicked in and the boy could only bring out some soft murmers and gibbering while turning crimson red.

''It's fine that you're fast,I like dedicated students.Now, please take of your cap.''

Oh no!

 

''Uh...''

The young teacher turned around and started writing stuff on the chalkboard.Asai was still standing behind his desk mentally panicking when the rest of his class poured in.''Hey Asai, skipping math?''A rather cheerful voice asked and Asai received a friendly punch against his shoulder.''Haha..ha..''He laughed softly at his classmate's question.Umh, what was that guy's name actually?

The teacher turned around and frowned when he saw that his pupil -who normally strictly followed the rules,was still wearing the baseball-cap.''Asai, please take off your cap now.''

''A-alright mister!''

The teacher turned to retrieve some paper from his desk and then looked back into the class.What was that?

''Asai...why are you wearing your book on your head?''He asked and the class bursted out in laughter.The troublemaker turned bright red and stuttered an apology.The teacher sighed and bend down to pick up a crayon which had fallen on the floor.Laughter broke out again and the young man stood up with a snap.''Asai, are you now wearing your backpack on your head?''

The boy made some choking noises.''Take it off and behave yourself, otherwise I have to send you to the principal.''The class made a loud ''oooohw'' and Asai closed his eyes in shame.But he did not remove the backpack from his head.

''Alright,take your backpack and go report yourself at the principal's office.''The teacher did not understand, why was he suddenly so...different?He watched how the boy with the backpack still on his head left the classroom under the screams of his noisy classmates.''Any other who doesn't keep quiet now can follow him!''

 

Outside the classroom.Asai went to the boy's restroom, traded his backback for his baseball-cap and stayed there still his heart had calmed down and his face was less red.''Well, that was History....firsts I misses Mathematics and now I got sent out, I am in big trouble.''

He took a deep breath and went over to the principal's office and knocked.''Excuse me,sir...or madam?''Was the principal male or female?

Storm heard the door and ran for it and said, "I got it!" She opened the door and saw a high schooler. She paused for a second and then got out of the way so he can get in. She sat down back down the chair, swinging her legs forward and backward. Where the conversation was going, she knew this was going to be a while. She was starting to get bored so she said to him, "Hi..... Um ......I-I am Storm. And this is Cocoa" This small bird raised it's head proudly. "Whats your name?" Storm didn't unually studder, she was just afraid he was going to punch her in the face or something. Her ears went down but she quickly corrected them and put them straight up again, hoping he didn't notice. ( I actually want you to notice it.)

The boy's eyes widened and he took a few steps back while pointing at her head.Was that just...?!His own ears perked up and knocked his baseball-cap off.Asai let out a sound surprise, struggled to retain his balance and ducked after his cap and under the table.His head was spinning.The girl...Storm, he had catched a glimps of a pair of dog ears.

He had rabbit ears...was there a connection?

The principal, who had been looking in one of the drawers for something noticed the confused looking student on the floor.''W-what are you..?Young man, would you care to explain to me why you're lying on the floor?''

''T-The floor was lonely and needed a hug....''

Storm looked at him and laughed, but stopped when she saw he also had ears. Did he have a tail too? She crouched down, gave him his hat, and helped him up. She went on her toes and whispered. "You have a tail too? I thought I was the only one."

The principal looked from his desk and said. " Also, Asai, while I was on the phone with Storm's parents, my secretary got a phone call and told me what you did. You are getting detention after school, alright? Storm, you are free to go back to class." Storm had such a bright idea she was surprised she didn't have a lightbulb over her head. She said " Um, I think I should have detention too, I was late. I deserve a punishment." The principal was shocked. The principal never had a student volunteer to be in detention before. " all right. Go back to class, both of you." Storm walked outside and stopped in the hall way and said to him. " Hey, what about during detention you can find a way to slip out of the room and meet me in....." She thought about it for a little while and continued." In the...." She was stumped. High schoolers couldn't go into the middle schooler' swing, and she couldn't go in the high schoolers wing. She thought about it again and finally said." In the high school court yard. No teachers are in the class rooms surrounding it, and since it is surrounded by the school there is no need for cameras! Agreed? Or did I say I wanted to be stuck in a stinky room with all the bullies after school when I could be playing the Wii for nothing?"

So..the girl was just as him?He let her help him up and thanked her.''You have a tail too?I thought I was the only one.''She whispered.Asai managed to supress the urge to fall to his knees and thank her for telling that he wasn't the only one.He gave a tiny nod as answer.The boy paled as he heard the principal talk about detention.In his whole schoolcarrierre he had never had detention even once!He was on the brink of freaking out untill Storm said that she also deserved detention.

Just what was she planning?

''Alright, go back to class, both of you.''

Asai opened his mouth to protest, since he was still wearing his cap he was sure that he would not be allowed in any class.But closed it as he saw the stern look that the principal gave him.''Of course sir.''He murmered.In the hallway, he turned as he heard the girl speak.When she started about bullies Asai snickered.Her bullies were probably different than the bullies he knew.

''Alright, I'll be there.''

He headed back to the highschool part of school and wondered if he should go back to class or go hide in the library.

Storm got to her locker and stared at herself angrily at her magnetic mirror. Seriously? she thought to herself.   Why did i agree to meet a boy after school in detention! Am I crazy! I asked  to get detention? Thats strange. And to meet a boy whos way older than me!? Double crazy! I am such an idiot.  She heard a voice behind her "Where are you supposed to be? In science. And you're here at your locker." Storm slammed her locker shut, quickly grabbing her science this before and spun around. Imediately she was slammed against her lockers, held there by her shoulders by Kyle. Who is Kyle? The worst bully in the school. No, the worst bully in the universe. He's tall. He's strong. But not that bright. Teachers think he's a goody two-shoes. Yeah, like he is. He is nowhere close to even becoming one. He is downright rude. All you need is to add the tail, horns, and axe. He is in 7th grade. Kyle smiled and chuckled evily. Storm grew pale as he easily lifted her off the ground by her backpack. Laughing even louder, he dropped her. She fell to the ground, on her back. Quick as lightning, he kicked her away from him and Kyle walked away. He smiled and told her "Storm? You are a storm? Ha! You are a worthless nothing!" She grabbed her stuff and ran off to science class. When she was in class the teacher stared at her for a moment and continued class. Chloe, her friend and cousin, whispered to Storm "Kyle again isn't it?" "Yep." "You know boys fight with girls that they like right?" Storm groaned and banged her head against the desk, trying not to make a sound while doing it.

Meanwhile in the highschool part 

Asai sighed and sneakily observed the hallway in front of him while pretending to tie his shoelaces.The center of the corridor was free, but the walls were not.There were small groups of pupils; boys,girls and mixed standing or leaning against the wall, talking and waiting for someone to walk past them.Asai knew why some did that.As a junior in Senior high he had walked through the hallways a lot of times.

They just waited for some one to pass so they could trip that person and laugh at him.

But Asai had experience, he had been tripped numerous times and had gotten used to it.He had learned to keep his eyes at the horizon, raise his feet high of the ground and -if he seemed to trip- to maintain his balance and to continue walking.You just had to use your agility and wits.It was simple.

He took a breath of air and started to calmly walk in the center of the hallway.Immediately he heard whispering and it was no surprise: a tall,slender boy with a cheeky grin stuck out his foot as Asai passed.He dodged it and while he pretended they weren't even there, the boy's cheeks heated up.

One.

From the corner of his eyes Asai saw a group of boys nudging each-other as the raven-haired boy drew near.This time it were two feet and Asai felt the tip of his shoe touch the second one,causing the male to stumble a bit before regaining balance.A supressed laughter was heard but that did not bother Asai.

Three.

Asai smiled smugly and thought. ''Ehehe, so long dumb bast-''

Smack!

The small boy had just ran into the solid,yet soft chest of a female teacher.The woman shrieked and Asai fell backwards,blushing ten shades of red.The hallways exploded in laughter and Asai thought that,at that moment, he was dying.Or at least he hoped he was dying.

This was going to be a long day.

Takes place in Tokyo.

The High School you all attend is called Onizuka High.

You are a typical High Schooler, just hoping to start out the new year with as little drama as possible. The last day of summer is wrapping up, and your goal is to make the best of it before the time for text books and crabby teachers closes in on you.

Maybe you've decided to throw a beach party, check out a museum or buy tickets to the town carnival. Whatever you counted on doing, you never counted on what was about to happen next.

An earthquake strikes and you notice a strange glow illuminating your body. You don't know what's going on, but you feel strange..somehow. Afraid for your life and those of your friends, or maybe even your significant other, you don't pay too much attention to the glow or other details. You focus more on getting back home alive.

The next day, you are happy to still be in one peice. It's time for a new school year, so naturally, you feel a little nervouse, maybe a little sick. But what you are feeling now is more than just butterflies in your stomach. You notice that

you are chasing birds on your front porch, or that the fish in the bowl at your bedside look appetizing..You shake it off. You start to get your school uniform ready, and when you look in the mirror..

"EeEEeeEeeEEKK!!!"

Oh no, no, no, no, NO!! What is THAT?? I-Is that a...A TAIL?!?!

Something has happened to you, and it's more than strange, it's Supernatural!

You decide to try to wipe it all from your mind, and arriving at school, you play it cool, acting as if it's just another first day back at school. But things get increasingly difficult as your Animal side continues to try to break through the surface. Your behavior is starting to attract attention, and you are getting odd looks.

Weeks pass, all too slowly you may say, as you are still trying to figure out what the heck is wrong with you, and how to control yourself. You slowly begin to find that there are more like you. A man eventually finds you all and answers your questions, though the answers may not be what you wanted to hear. Your first reaction is to run home, burry your face in the pillow and scream, praying it's all nothing but a bad dream you'll soon wake up from.

But then a silence is broken by the man once more, and what he reveals to you next is something totally unexpected:

Your mission as Mew Mews.

I would ask that you have some knowledge of Tokyo Mew Mew if you are to join. This RP has the same theme and purpose, but the story will be new and the characters must be your own OC's.

-Be polite

-No profanity please

-Violence will happen, so it's allowed, but nothing too graphic if you can help it.

-Romance is allowed, but keep it appropriate. No bedroom talk, or anything of a Mature anime's nature. Don't take it any further than the show would have. Thanks.

-No Mary-Sues, God-modding, etc. Your character should not be invincible.

-Try to keep it as literate as possible, with a minimum of 5 sentences per post.

- No two Mew Mews may possess the same animal DNA. Please check to see if the animal DNA you might join as is already taken or not. If you have a question, post in the OOC please.

-Please try to post in the OOC as much as possible to keep on the same page. Any questions you may have may be posted there or you can always message me :3

-Try to keep the RP's tone true to the show if you can. If you haven't hear of the show or haven't watched it...well, if you still decide to join, I won't kick you out because of it. Just google it I suppose xD
