Roleplaying

(I just thought I'd make a starting post so people knew it was active.) A young leopardess stalked through the fresh grass of the forest, her mouth open slightly to taste the air. Tasting her prey before it was even in her grasp. Her prey, a juvenile deer, was standing quietly at a patch of grass, seeming to decide whether or not to eat it. Tess licked her lips in anticipation, stalking closer. Due to her markings and colouring, she blended well with the long grass. Tess shifted uneasily on her haunches, getting ready to pounce, her amber coloured eyes focused on her target. In a sudden rush, chipmunks that were watching from the branch of a tree, ran down the bark and danced around the hooves of the deer, spooking it so it fled, loosing Tess her first substantial meal since the beginning of the winter months. The high pitched giggles of the chipmunks were cut short by the young leopard pouncing at them. "Stupid squirrels!" Tess hissed, the chipmunks peered over the cover of the leaves, watching the angry leopardess. "Chipmunks." They corrected. "Although equally annoying." She snarled.

The Setting: Takes place in a large forest, much like the one seen in Bambi. There are waterfalls and springs and large open meadows as well as mountainous areas. It spreads out for miles and miles.

The Winter has just ended, so some areas are still sprinkled with patches of melting snow.

 "Twitterpated?"

"Yes, nearly everybody gets twitterpated in the springtime. For example: You're walking along, minding your own business. You're looking neither to the left, nor the right. When all of a sudden, you run smack into a pretty face. Woo woo! You begin to get weak in the knees. Your head's in a whirl. And then you feel light as a feather. And, before you know it, you're walking on air. And then you know what? You're knocked for a loop and you completely lose your head. And that ain't all. It can happen to anybody.  So you'd better be careful. It could happen to you, and you, and yes it could even happen to you!"

Welcome! This is an RP I've been wanting to get started, similar to one I've done with other people and I hope it will catch. What I had in mind was something similar to the "Twitterpated" aspect of Disney's Bambi. I figured, to make things more interesting, I'd put no restriction on species that exist in this terrain. Not entirely realistic, but it's been done before, and it's more fun ;)


The Plot: Spring time is here, and now that the cold and dreaded icy season has melted away, it's time for a new beginning. Animals of nearly every species roam this continent, coexisting with each other. Now that spring is here, it's time for the new and upcoming generation to take on another stage in their life, at a time where romance is not entirely uncommon and blooms all around you like the sun-colored flowers of the season. Yes, it could happen to anyone, at anytime. Love is never something that can be predicted. Be careful where you go, you might just run into the one who's destined to change your life forever.

New and upcoming kingdoms are in the future, the ones you will build with the ones you may choose. As long as it's love you choose.

The Animals: There is no restriction on types of species. Join as whichever you would like, though bugs and fish will be spelled out. However, while this is all possible, let's try to keep a somewhat even specie-to-specie ratio. Also, same goes for a male-female ratio. To keep tabs on who's who and who's with who, we will add to this list once people join:

"Twitterpated" Remember, it can happen to you! Try to stay as true to the over all theme as possible, but remember, nothing too out of hand. Bambi was a G rated movie, so keep things appropriate.
