"...Off?" Xanthus made a very human sigh, and stepped off of the humanoid. Almost the instant it stepped off, a movement in the water caught it eye, and it splashed through it, coming up with a small, bloody fish-like creature... Though it had a few legs.

"Talker hungry? Talker used to know often hungry." It sounded happy, and didn't seem to care to take notice whether or not the talker was paying attention... Or that it had just splashed more water onto the talker he had tackled.

A movement caught its attention, and it turned its head to see a creature larger than it, moving towards the two other talkers. In its memory, larger creatures usually tried to eat it... Though this one wasn't significantly larger. Even so, Xanthus stood tall, maned fur sticking up like a mohawk. It growled a little, showing its long, interlocking teeth... Fish-creature still stuck in it.

However, it relaxed when the creature licked the talkers. Maybe it would eat one of the talkers and go away? Then Xanthus could have fun with the other two! The end of its tail flicked back and forth in a cat-like gesture.

Hakoza finally found two creatures. They were yelling at each other while a smaller creature than him licked them. Hakoza roared at it and his vines had sharpened spikes on it. He started to move towards the other creature, shaking his brightly colored leaves. He hissed loudly and roared. He did not want to eat the new flesh creatures yet, nore did he want anyone else to. He hissed and roared agen, snapping his multiple jaws at the other creature. He then growled and wiped at it. Hissing loudly as his leaves rattled and shook loudly creating a unusual humming noise.
There was suddenly an awful commotion coming from the direction of the tempting water. Evidently in its haste to find a drink, the Level 1 Potted Plant had overlooked the presence of quite a number of creatures. From what sense the plant could make out of the jumble of information reaching its leaves, there were several more creatures besides the one which had recently knocked it over. The plant lay on the ground where it had fallen, confused. It stretched the leaves which weren't pinned in the mud higher, moving them back and forth, trying to 'hear' better. It still couldn't learn anything more; there were too many things moving around and shouting, and the plant was bombarded with conflicting signals. The plant began the laborious process of getting right side up again. The mud made things difficult. Its leaves had little purchase on the slippery ground. Repeatedly, the plant pushed itself halfway up, only to slip right back into the mud again. It was completely undaunted; nor did it adjust its strategy but simply continued trying to push itself back upright.
Hakoza saw the smaller plant and with one vine that did not have any spikes on it, he lifted up and sat it up right. Hakoza then payed more attention to the creatures, some belonged while the new fleashy's confused him. He waved his vines in the air and touched the unusual creatures with his vines. This was how he tasted and smelt. The unusual creatures tasted good, but he did not want to eat them, they to him were more something for a greater creature than himself. For he only liked eating creatures, not what ever this things were.
Kindling sat shivering in the puddle, streams of water running her face. She had a very cross expression, and would have been steaming by now, except the water's chill was stealing her bodie's warmth. The creature had at least gotten off of her, but now she was soggier than she'd ever been before. There was a lot of commotion going on. It seemed this was the place to be. She needed to dry off, but there was no where free of the humid air for her to go. Perhaps if I climb a tree it will be dryer. She stood up and quietly went around the creature, which was distracted, and started for the nearest normal looking tree.

I quickly got up, yanking Rapture up by his ear, making him release a yelp. All of these creatures... this strange place... I hated it. Hated it all. Rapture made a whimper, because he knew that obviously I did not approve of these creatures being too close to him or I.

"Who are you guys..?" Rapture asked in an enthusiastic way that he always asked people, and I harshly told him "It doesn't matter who the bloody snow they are."

"B-but brother..!" Rapture whinned at me, even though he should know by now that that only annoys me, and never gets him anything. "We are leaving, NOW. Its not like we are going to find a way out of here with you attempting to make friends with everything you meet, that a plant that tried to EAT. YOU."

"But brooother!~! You are friends with what YOU eat!"

"There is a difference in between PRETENDING and MAKING FRIENDS WITH WHAT IS TRYING TO EAT YOU."

It cocked its head, relaxing a bit. The other two talkers sure complained a lot... They also had silly ideas. It, eat them? No, they were so much more fun alive and doing what they did best, talking! It made a giggle, sounding a lot like a female human child.

"I no eat." it replied, still making the rather disturbing giggle. It pawed closer to the other two, ignoring the plants, as he rarely felt threatened by those, and looking down at the little one.

"'Ello, small fuzzy. I Xanthus." It spoke, grinning its sharp teeth- which, of course, were still sporting the dead fish. After a moment, it turned its head slightly, resting its blank eyes on the other furred humanoid.

"No leaving maze. 'Big Brother.'"

Hakoza then grumbled at the creature. "Friends with what you eat? Foolishness of your eyes deserve you, for what you are is what you are not." Hakoza said. He knew if they were not intelligent they would not be able to answer it. "For what I am is what I really am not, and what I am not, I really am." He said agen, He laughed at the joyous thought of how low the creatures are. He thought in his mind of how idiotic they look and did a weired laugh. He then hissed. "Such weired creatures you are, and such tastiness to." He hummed his wings making a strange noise.

Something -it felt like another plant- picked up the Level 1 Potted Plant. This wasn't good. Everything living the plant had ever run into into in the past had been dangerous in some way. Surely whatever this thing was up to, it wouldn't be good for the plant. It struggled vaguely, batting some of its leaves at the thing holding it.

The bigger plant set it back in the mud, up right. The Level 1 Potted Plant continued waving its leaves around for a few seconds before it realized it was no longer being held. It immediately froze. If it pretended to be a normal plant, all these excited creatures would overlook it and leave it alone. Ordinarily, the plant would be compelled to attack any humanoids it came across, but this was too much. All the movement around the plant was too confusing. The plant still couldn't identify how many things were surrounding it, let alone figure out if any of them were even human. No, this was certainly a time for camouflage. The plant remained frozen and waited for everyone to go away.

"Lets go... oh, I have a better Idea." I started to say, changing my mind. "They wont be able to understand us as easily if we talk like thins..." I stated to Rapture, as I started to glare at the creatures, hoping that this was all there was going to be for now. "But I don't want to talk like that!" Yet again with the whining, would he EVER stop that? It was seriously annoying. "Just shut up and listen to what I say, I don't see you trying to keep us both alive, and safe from your crazy ideas!"

"Mrph... fine..." He muttered, and sticked to my side as if to hide from the speaking creature.

"Now creature; if you attempt to harm us I shall warn you that I will FIGHT BACK." I growled at the creatures and any odd plants around.

Hakoza then laughed. "Harm you?! How do I know if you won't harm me? Unlike the other creatures, I don't eat bizarre talking food. Nore do I eat strange creatures. I have never seen fleashy's like you before. How do you survive? By hiding from one another?" Hakoza said. "I guess you won't answer my riddle, but of course. Your scared, that is why you act so tough....." He growled. He then looked at the smaller plant. "Seems as if I have more manners.....very well. The confusion right now has stirred my stomach....and it seems as if I am hungry." He said. He then found a place that was solid and muddy, then he burrowed his thick roots in it. He then opened his mouth to reveal a beautiful blue flower in it. His leaves shined a dark blues and purples.

"Fear is for the weak." Older brother stated while glaring at the odd talking plant, and I boldly shouted "Yeah! For the weak!" a small tug came to my tail suddenly, and I made an 'Eep' noise, jumping back to behind older bro, scared of whatever did that.

My look of fear and confusion turned to a quick pout, he was a meanie! He had pulled my tail, and nothing else did! "Brother..." I whimpered to him, and the tip of his tail along with the feathers that were placed along there covered my mouth, preventing the use of speech.

threatened to them.

The plant laughed. "Shur...shur..." He said laughing. He then was quiet. The leaves on him gently rattled creating a wondrous noise. Then a small bird flew to the flower in Hakozas mouth. It was a humming bird. It drank the sap of the flower, surprisingly Hakoza did not eat it. The bird then flew off. Hakoza only needed warmth of the sun for his food. Only during the harsh cold times he eats his prey. He seemed as if he was not even alive, the only thing that still moved was his roots, witch constantly changed color. He then made a humming noise.
Kindling appeared to be forgotten for the moment and took the chance to try climbing a tree. This task was very difficult, as the tree was much larger than her and there weren't very many brances low enough down for her to grab. Her arms couldn't even reach around the tree. Finally, after a lot of slips, scapes, and anger, she managed to reach the top, where the sun was maybe slightly stronger and the air possibly a tiny bit dryer. She shiverred in her aweful damp clothing, her lips turning blue from the chill, and inspecked the scratches on her arms. Most of them were small, though a few of them were bleeding a little and stinging. There wasn't much she could do about them so she looked back down on the scene below.

"Lets go, Rapture. I doubt that they'd follow us." I said, rather hasty to get away from these guys. "Besides... you know that I can only get one if they are in a shelter or approach in some land marked as ours; you do know that." I calmly said to Rapture, before starting to walk away. I pulled up the hood on the cloak that I was currently wearing because it would always work both as a make-shift blanket and something to keep people from seeing how I looked underneath half the time, and Rapture picked up his umbrella, obviously hoping that there wasn't any holes to let the sunlight seep through.

"...I am still hungry..." was a complaint that he made, and I hissed at him "Look; I'll find something for you to eat later; okay?"

Your goal: Survive, and find a way to return to your own world.

Problems: You have no leads, and everything around doesn't seem to want you to succeed.
