"Mmph! Mmmmph!" said Isabel, sounding frightened when she heard the phrase "Kumatari the life taker."

"So you and you're brother can turn into a creature called Kumatari, the life taker, when your together?" said Ivan. "Well... Um... I understand how sad you must be to never be with your brother again, I'd be heartbroken if I had to be seperated from my sister forever (though a short break from her would be nice), but...  well... maybe it's a good thing you and your brother are apart... And I didn't know you had a dad, I kind of thought you two are orphans, like Isabel and I."

"We are," said Kiro. "But Drago is our adopted father."

"What, that skeleton guy that Isabel and I tried to murder yesterday?!" Ivan exclaimed.

"Mmmph?!" said Isabel, sounding equally shocked.

Kiro nodded.

"And that wound sure looks painful... Interesting your blood is that colour... Who shot you, Kashi?"

"No. Drago."

"Drago?! But he's supposed to be your dad! Geez, for the first time I'm glad I don't have any stepfamily!"

"Mmmmph!"

"Me and my brother where hurting someone so I deserve it....Soon my brother will come thogh. For I see that he is as sad as I am, He right now is talking to Sakoya, the werewolf, hes saying for us to stay away from eatch other tonight but he dousent know our minds are actualy one, but two souls once separated we are weak to our creators and shuned for eternity for we are not liveing, we are nothing." Kiro said. He then came down and opend up his shirt to show a huge metal like thing embeded in his chest. "We are amulats....we want to be like humans thogh...." The thing in his chest had weired carvings and had a serpant eye in the senter of it. He then closed his shirt. " We were made to destroy humanity.....but we dont want to destroy what has given us life." Kiro said.

"So let me get this straight," Ivan said. "Did you just say you and your brother are actually amulets? Like, pieces of jewlery in human form? So that amulet embedded in your chest is actually your true form? And you're neither living nor dead, but something in between? So you're like a zombie in a way? And you can see what your brother sees, because you actually share the same mind? But you still have seperate souls? And you were you were born or created or whatever to destroy humanity, but you don't want to, because you were created by humans and want to be like them?"

"Basically, yes," said Kiro.

"Well, if anyone else told me a story like that," Ivan said, "I would laugh my head and call them a big, fat stinking liar. But you're not just anybody... Well, I don't know what to say..."

"Have you noticed that you've been turned back into a human yet?" Kiro said.

"Huh?" said Ivan. He looked down at myself and saw it was true. "Oh, wow! Thanks Kiro! I didn't even get a chance to eat my sister for lunch, though! Darn it!"

"What?! You weren't seriously going to eat me, were you?!" cried Isabel.

"Nah, I was just joking!" Ivan said, beaming at her. "Well, sort of joking, anyway!"

"Well, if you tried that, I would have shot you full of arrows," Isabel said, "right in your butt."

They both laughed. Then they looked at Kiro, who was still hanging upside down and looking forlorn, and fell silent.

"I heard you say you were hurting someone, too," said Isabel, narrowing her eyes. "Who?"

"Oh... Rose, that monster Kisha and I caught yesterday..."

"Oh, okay. That's good," said Isabel, brightening. But then she saw Kiro was still looking as forlorn as before, and her face fell.

"Me and my brother are not zombes, were plants. We are apart of a amulat but take on human forms." Kiro said.

Kiro then saw Kashi aprotching. "looks like saddness has gotten to his soul..." Kiro said jumping down and walked up to Kashi. When they were near eatch other Kashi said quietly. "Sorry for attacking you." Kiro then said. "Im sorry to." Kashi then said. " Would you like to combine for a bit?" Kiro then nodded. 

All of a sudden a bright flash of light appered and dissapered to reveal a creature. 

This was the twins real form....Kumatari the life taker.

Cassan O'Bruic had once again been tracking Veinous Cheesecake in the woods. Taking each step with stealth and grace, the hunter noticed that the trap he laid out earlier was destroyed. The uncle continued followed Veinous Cheesecake's tracks until he came upon a dark cave. Cassan looked into the cave and noticed the glimmering of blade like teeth and heard his nephew's loud snoring. The hunter quietly stepped back and set several traps around the entrance to the den of Veinous Cheesecake. Cassan climbed up the nearest tree and took out his crossbow which he loaded with one of his sleeping darts.

Ivan and Isabel both gasped. "Oh my god..." said Ivan. Isabel nodded silently.

They both stared at Kumatari in fear and awe.

"Um... please don't take our lives, life taker..." Isabel said nervously.

"Don't worry, I do not take the lives of friends," Kumatari said. "I will eat your fear, though."

Ivan and Isabel felt him suck something out of them, and sure enough their fear vanished. They laughed spontaneously. Kumatari turned and headed toward the village. Ivan and Isabel followed.

I lay in the bushes, with the arrows still sticking in me, and gnawed on one of my victim's bones. Just then I sensed a strange prescence... It reminded of the Kiro and Kashi's prescence, but this was more intense, and it came from a single creature. My fur stood up. I stopped gnawing the bone and lay completly still, hoping the strange presence wouldn't notice me...

Unfortunately it did.

"Hello, Rose," said a familiar yet unfamiliar voice.

A terrifying figure towered above me. "I am the twins, Kiro and Kashi. We have combined to become Kumatari the life taker."

I hissed at him and trembled from head to toe, too scared to move, too scared to speak.

 

 

The twins then laghed. "looks like Drago's not going to save you this time." They hissed, flicking out there snake like tong. They then grabed her, but there hands were claws attached to plant roots, they looked like some type of fly-trap mixed with a human and a reptile. There roots wraped around her. They then laghed as they then sprinted with her, dragging her behind them and slaming her on the ground as they ran. They were bringging rose to there house. People in the village saw Kumatari and hid without screaming, it was like they knew in there heads that he would eat there soul if they screamed. He then draged rose into the house.

I had a feeling I was about to be tortured and probably killed, so although I knew if I tried to fight them they'd kill me for sure, at least I'd die sooner, and probably wouldn't have to suffer as long. So I clawed and bit at their roots. Kumatari glanced over his shoulder and glared at me, extended a root and cracked it like a whip, striking me on the face. While I was flinching, he wrapped a root around my snout and around my wrists, so I couldn't attack. I glowered at him and growled menacingly.

I'm a big, scary monster, I thought angrily, I eat humans for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I can kill other monsters with just one quick bite to the throat... Since when have I turned into a stupid damsel in distress? I hate this...

Now we were in the house. Kumatari locked the door, then turned and grinned at me. I tried to snarl again, but it turned into a whimper.

They laghed. Then they walked twords her. " I wonder how you would fell if you were a defensless human." They said laghing unhumanly. They walked twords her. The amulat on there chest had the eye staring at her. It then blinked like a aligator. 

Kiro and Kashi walked twords her. Then reatched out there hand and tuched her turning her into a human. " Mmmmm.....I wonder what your soul tast like." They said, laghing creepy. The amulat then split apart in the middle and the twins chest opend up revealing dozens of sharp teeth. Vines then slithered twords her trying to bring her in so that they could eat her.

"No! No, please don't!" I squealed. I felt myself being shoved into the toothy jaws. I squeezed my eyes shut and waited for the excruciating pain I knew was about to come. Kumatari nibbled on me a bit, I felt the tips of his teeth poking me, scratching me a bit. But then he yanked me out of his mouth. "I can't eat you too quickly, your soul is too delicous..." A long, vine-like tongue slithered out and licked me, and they nibbled on me some more.

"Don't torture me, just kill me," I said in a small voice. "Kill me quickly, and mercifully please, that's all I ask..."

The twins laughed, and continued to lick me and nibble on me. "But we're only just getting started, we can't kill you yet!"

I shut my eyes and whimpered again. I wished they would turn me back into a monster at least, so I could keep fighting them. I had no idea what was going to happen to me next, but I probably wouldn't be turned back into a monster anytime soon... They would probably prefer to keep me a helpless human for awhile, so they could keep bullying me without having to worry about getting hurt... Not that I stood a chance against them in my monster form, either...

Now they started playing cat and mouse with me. They dropped me and let me run and hide, then they yanked me out of my hiding place, popped me into their mouth and sucked on me like a piece of candy for a few minutes, then spat me out and did it all over again. Finally I gave up. I curled up in a ball in the middle of the floor and shut my eyes again. Maybe, if I stopped struggling, they would get bored of this game and just kill me already.

They then laghed and started to drag her upstares. They turned her back into a monster but quickly knocked her out.

When she woke her fur was diyed pink and she had bows and ribons on her. There was pink rose petals around her. She had a muzzle on and her nailes were trimed.

Kiro and Kashi were split and back into there normal forms. They stood there laghing and giggleing. " Now thats not scary." Kashi giggled. " How long douse the diy last?" Kiro asked. " A year unless we wash it out with special shampo." Kashi said. They both could not stop laghing.

I looked down at myself and saw I was a monster again, but also my fur had turned pink. My claws had been clipped and painted pink, too. There was a mirror nearby, I saw the pink ribbons in my fur, and the pink muzzle strapped on my snout. A hideous snarl rose from my throat. I charged at the twins, but there was nothing I could do to them but headbutt them, with my claws clipped and my muzzle on. They giggled and patted me on the head. "You'll make a great pet!" said one. "As long as we make sure dad doesn't find out," said the other.

I continued to growl, and imagined myself torturing them like they had tortured me as Kumatari, and turning them pink, and then eating them alive, as slowly as possible in order to inflict as much pain and suffering as I could. It was a delightful fantasy... but still only a fantasy.

Kiro then laghed with his brother then said. "kidding....kidding, its just a prank rose." Kiro then started to pet her. "Sorry if it made you mad....would you like us to take away your anger and turn you into a human?" Kiro asked kindly. "I think shes mad at us for doing that stuff to her...." Kashi said. " Oh.....are you mad at use rose?" Kiro asked. Kashi then said. " I will go make some snacks." and walked to the kitchen. Sakoya the werewolf came in and saw rose. " Ummmmm......." He said confused. " Why?" Was the only thing Sakoya could say. Kiro was still petting rose. " Oh would you like something to eat rose?" Kiro asked.

Of course I'd like something to eat, I thought. You two.

But as Kiro continued to stroke me, I felt my anger fading away. They were removing it from me. I sighed wearily. I was hungry. So I nudged Kiro's arm, and he took off the muzzle as Kashi walked back in with some snacks. He divided them between himself, his brother, Sakoya and me. I inhaled it before I even tasted it, or knew what it was. I belched, then turned and hid my head under the table. I still felt as stupid-looking as before.

"I wish I could still be mad at you," I said, "because all the pain, misery and suffering I've been through these past few days was all your fault... you've made me feel so helpless and weak, I hated it... but now I think I'm just grateful you've let me live... I was sure you were going to kill me, each time you caught me, but you never did... I'm still annoyed you turned me pink, but I guess being pink for a year is better than being in Kumatari's stomach, getting digested... But only slightly better..."

 

Kiro then said. " We saw you scared off Drago...."  Kashi then said. " Why you do that?" Kiro asked. Kashi and kiro were lying on there couch. " Sad thing is he was starting to like you....something the humans call love that is or pitty." Kiro sad. "I dont understand humans quiet much....but at least they respect us." Kashi said. Sakoya then slamed his head into the wall. He made a hole so he could fit his head into it. "Hey I found the best place to hide from you two freaks." Sakoya said. The twins then laghed and giggled.

A medieval land in some dark fantasy world.

For unknown reasons, ordinary people have been suddenly turning into horrible monsters, and devouring all those around them. At first they're still semi-human, but as time passes they become more and more montrous until there's no humanity left in them... or at least hardly any.

So in order to defend themselves, the humans have started hunting the monsters, and getting people to gaurd the outskirts of the villagers. And maybe they sacrifice people too. And the monsters start forming packs to defend themselves from their prey. (Though the monsters don't always get along, it's not uncommon for them to eat each other, though not all of them do.)

But maybe a few of the humans and monsters start becoming friends.The humans who befriend the monsters realize the monsters are actually still human inside, at least a bit. And the monsters who befriend the humans realize how truly monstrous they were to be eating them, and feel bad, and that makes them a little more human. So they start wondering if it's possible to stop people from turning into monsters, and if it's possible to turn the monsters back into humans.

(Note: I was somewhat inspired by my favourite fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast, when I made this rp. Just thought that would be good for you people to know.)

Romance is fine, but nothing too graphic, just hugging and kissing.

The monsters can look like anything you want them too. And the monsters can turn back into humans, or vice versa, either temporarily or permanently, up to you.
