Jewels gave Jason a hard smack and looked at him. "You don't understand!" She nearly yelled at him and turned around. She almost sprinted back to the others. She didn't care if she lost Jason in the crowd- she didn't need him anyway. She stopped near a small shop and leaned against the wall away from the man. She tried to breath deeply and slowly, but she couldn't. She could feel tears forming in her eyes, but she blinked them away.

Hina saw Jewels and ran up to her, noticing that Jason was not with her anymore. He licked her hand gently and rubbed his head against her leg.

Zonan stared at the woman for a moment and blinked when she ran away. He must've been seeing things. Oh well. He shrugged.

Grendile definately didn't want more trouble for the group, "Yes... it would probably be best to go find them." Grendile started walking in the direction he saw Jason and Jewels go, he stopped waiting for the others to fallow.

Deonday watched as two children ran away from him, fearing that he might do something to hurt them. He saw they were going to find Jason and Jewels. He started fallowing Grendile, looking hatefully at anyone who dare even stare at Hokey. He hated to see anyone being looked down upon like some freak or monster. A long time ago when he was younger, a lot of people saw him as nothing more than a monster...

Jason felt extremely confused. He tried to take Jewels out on a date, and it ended up with her smacking him. He sighed, maybe the cat was right about him with women. "Jewels... come back!" He yelled out, running through the crowd, searching for any sign of her.

Lilya looked for the other two, and saw Jewels running through the crowd. "I found her Grendile, but I don't see Jason. You two go find him, I'll follow her."

Xina shrugged. Whatever was wrong with the woman, she didn't really care. She stared at Zonan, "Where are we going, Capricorn? Are you sure that Sinew will be there?" Allum was at her side, waving at people and getting disgusted looks in return.

Grendile and Deonday went off to go find Jason. Deonday hated trying to make his way through crowds. He hated having to push people out of his way. Everyone in this crowd annoyed him, he felt something hard hit his head and he turned around, seeing a kid with a slingshot and some pebbles. The kid ran giggling, Deonday looked at the child annoyed, "Stupid child..." Eventually he and Grendile had found Jason.

Feralie was looking at Farren, drooling and looking at her hungrily. She bet that Farren would make a great snack. She slowly crept behind Farren, to stay out of view from her master she crouched low.

Ferru eyed The emotional woman for a few seconds, before snapping at Xina, "Why must you waste Zonan's time? Why would Sinew be in Capricorn? Capricorn is a known location, not to mention a tourism hotspot, due to the supposed 'entrance' to the 'hidden caverns'. The best thing we can do is to scour the wilderness for increased electrical or radio activity, or else to follow and interrogate whomever knows more than us, not to waste our time on every mountain-man town with a local legend.". Ferru finished his snarky, negative comment thus, and, leaning against a wall a foot or two away from the majority of the group, realized he was in a prime location to listen in on the crazy woman. So he did.

Xina sighed with exasperation. "Shut up, Ferru. You aren't the leader. Also... I do recall Zonan saying that we will be going to Capricorn to search for Sinew. Sadly, you have Selective Hearing and you didn't hear that, all you heard was your name." Farren flicked her ears, hearing Feralie's heavy breathing. She turned her head and snarled at the dragon, spitting a flame in her face.

Allum whimpered at Xina's words and clung to Ferru's arm. "Ferru, why is she so annoying?"

Jason sighed with relief when he saw Grendile and Deonday. "Jewels ran off when she saw this guy and a bunch of freaks." He pointed to them. "I couldn't stop her, and she looked very upset."

Lilya walked up to Jewels and touched her shoulder gently. "Are you alright? The others are looking for us, it's about time we got on the train."

Ferru shortly replied "Because she's an awful person." to Allum's inquiry, and then yanked his arm away. He then said tomXina in a withering voice "There are three problems with that idea. First, you never said my name. Second, I hear EVERYTHING. It's a curse, really. And third, Zonan's never said anything of the kind. He was, in fact reading a cheap little Capricorn tourist pamphlet while we were all sitting on the bus, doing nothing worthwhile. You were picking at your nails, if my hard drive remembers correctly. Here, let me run a diagnostics check." He stood still, smirking for a couple of seconds, as the sound of whirring could be heard, then saying. "Yes, everything is completely functional. It looks like you are dead wrong, m'lady,"

"I wouldn't worry too much, Lilya went to go talk to Jewels," Grendile could tell Jason was very concerned about Jewels.

Deonday payed little attention to Jason and Grendile, he was much more concerned about a kid who had shot another rock at him. He turned to look at the child annoyed, it was the same one! He glared at the child annoyed, the child was laughing! He'd show him... Deonday took out his gun, before he could shoot Grendile stopped him, "You'll attract attention to us! Put the gun away." Deonday put his gun away annoyed.

Feralie growled at Farren and moved away from her, looking at Allum instead. He looked like he'd make a decent meal. She growled and ran up to Allum, trying to grab him with her teeth.

Allum screamed when Feralie lunged at him. He clung to Ferru, burying his face into Ferru's shirt. "Ferru, Ferru! Make the scary dragon stop trying to hurt me!"

Xina smirked. "I may be wrong, but I'm not the one who has a child that doesn't belong to me." She stared at Allum who was refusing to let go of Ferru, Ferlie trying to bite him. "I can be wrong all the time, but I don't have a small kid clinging to me."

Farren sniffed when Feralie ran off and sat down next her master, satisfied she scared Feralie off.

Jason sighed. "Good, let's just hope that Lilya doesn't get on her nerves by asking her what's wrong. I went through that waaaay too much."

Jewels sighed and looked back at the man, still up set. She then looked back at Lilya. "That man," She began with a low voice. "He tried to kill me once, and succeeded at killing someone that I knew very well." Tears sprang up in her eyes; she didn't try to hold them back this time. She didn't feel like she was able to give her any more information than that. She ran her shaking fingers over the scar on the back of her neck. 

She finally gave up trying to be strong and laid her head on Lilya's shoulder, crying into it. 

 

Lilya blinked slowly then sighed. "Well... I'm sorry that it had to happen to you." She smirked. "But since you have the opportunity.. could you kill him now for revenge? I'm sure it can't be that hard."

Hokey stood close to Deonday, trembling. He didn't know why he was close to Deonday now, probably because his master disappeared when he wasn't paying attention, and Deonday was protecting him from the cold glares from the people around them.

Jason pushed through the crowd, leaving Grendile and Deonday. He had to find Jewels himself- to try to make her feel better. He began reciting what he would say to her in his head.

Jewels looked up at her with big, child-like eyes. She blinked for a moment. Her expression turned devious and a small smile appeared on her face. "Oh, I would love to do that." Jewels gave Lilya a small, friendly hug, then stepped away from her and wiped the tears from her own face. 

"Shall we get going now?" She said more like her normal Jewels-y self. 

Hina quietly followed Jason to try and find his master. He didn't want to be known, but despite his efforts, he was still quite loud and could be heard from a mile away. He saw the cat again and growled to himself. What is this cat doing here?! he thought angrily. 

Deonday was relieved to see the kid had stopped shooting pebbles at him. He looked at a few people around him laughing, that's when he noticed Hokey had fallowed him. The kid had started shooting pebbles at the elf, he looked at the kid hatefully, "Get out of here!!!" The kid only laughed to see that Deonday was protecting Hokey, to the boy he saw Hokey as a freak. Deonday stood in front of Hokey, preventing the child from hurting the elf more. Deonday pulled out a gun and fired a warning shot, "Get out of here now!!!" The child screamed and ran off, everyone around them stopped looking at the elf.

Feralie tried to bite Allum again but Grasha stopped her dragon, "No Feralie! You don't eat him!" Grasha manadged to pull Feralie away from Allum.

Lilya smiled and nodded. "Let's go then- I'm sure your little boyfriend, Jason, is pretty scared to death." She pushed through the crowd, running to Deonday. "I found Jewels.. w.. where is Jason?"

Jason continued calling for Jewels. "Jewels! Where are you, pretty girl!?" He stared at Hina and muttered to him. "Can't you sniff her out, or something? You're a dog, do dog things instead of just drooling everywhere."

Hokey whimpered at the gun shot and people stopped glaring at him. They suddenly showed no interest in him at all. He rubbed his stinging head and moved closer to Deonday, feeling safer.

 

Jewels scoffed. "He's not my boyfriend! He just keeps following me." She crossed her arms and kept walking. She closed her eyes for a second and suddenly ran into someone. 

"Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to-" She was stopped in mid sentence by a finger placed gently over her mouth. She saw a man standing directly in front of her. She raised her eyebrow and glared at him. "What are you doing?" She nearly bit his finger. 

"Shh, calm down, girl. I was just wondering when the next train to Capricorn leaves?" He had a strange smile on his face, and his eyes seemed familiar. They were almost... cat-like? 

"It leaves in about ten minutes." Jewels muttered. 

Yup! It's remade, to make it better than it was before (and maybe it won't be as confusing as before)
