I was wary of the forest around me each breath was like a thousand knives in my stomache my family was dead and i had no one to share in my crazy antics. The forest was dead silent around me I was scared i had never been alone in my life. I lifted my head and let out a slow long howl i was alone and the howl marked me as a loner. If only i could become a member of a pack so i wouldn't be so alone. I lifted my head and continued on my path i had been following because i had been following something before.

Jane treaded silently through the forest, trailing a mother deer and her fawn. Early morning mist hung heavily in the air, sunlight turning it to strands of gold were it shone through the trees. She heard the deer somewhere up ahead. She lowered her head and crept slowly through the thick undergrowth. The deer were standing in a meadow grazing. Jane pricked her black tipped ears and waited for her chance. Suddenly, a long drawn out howl sounded not far off. The mother deer lift her head alarmed. Jane darted out into the meadow. The mother paniced, momentarily forgeting her fawn but the by the time she realized her mistake it was too late. Jane's teeth locked tightly around the fawns throat. She took off back through the forest to the clearing where she had agreed to meet Nightmare.

Sky trotted through the forest her sadness momentarily forgotten. She had heard the sound of hoves not to far off if she was lucky she would be able to to catch herself something to eat but her chances where slim she never hunted alone and she din't even know what to do to catch something alone. As she drew near she heard the soft crunch of paws on the soft forest floor. Then she seen the wolf she was caring a fawn in her mouth and she was torn between the thought of trying to take it or getting her own she didn't want to fight this wolf. The fawn heard a loud snap  she had stepped on a twig.

Jane walked quietly through the forest with her catch hanging limply from her powerful jaws. It's blood was slowly seeping through out her mouth. She wanted nothing more than to find a cool stream to lie down in. Sunlight was shining even more brightly through the trees, makeing the tempature climb. She paused, and sniffed at the wind. It carried the scent of another she-wolf. Jane picked up her pace. A twig snapped off to her left. A black she-wolf stood gazing at her and her catch. The wolf was bigger than her by a lot. Jane dropped her catch and bared her teeth. Fur along her spine fluffed up in a threat. "Take it. I dare you." She snarled.

The she wolf was staring at me who did she think she was then she bared her teeth at me. I lifted my muzzle and let out a low snarl i could take her but instead of attacking i let out a low whine and assumed the  submissive posture. I could easily take this wolf down but if she had a  pack they would kill me. Maybe she would accept me into her pack. I was tired of wondering this forest alone with no one. I wanted nothing more than to have a pack again. So i swallowed my pride I knew if she accepted me i would be a powerful allly .

I had always been a great tracker. i had been tracking the female wolf who had lost her family hoping she could become a part of my pack. Then i seen another female wolf this one had the sent of another wolf she most likely had a pack. She snarled at the one i was tracking and the one i was tracking snarled back then she did something totally unexpected she went into a submissive stance she was so dumb. Once the matter was resolved i would show myself after all what could they do to me i was a male wolf far more ranked than them

Jane layed back ears.'This wolf was strange. Why did she snarl then whine at me?' she thought. The wind picked up, carrying another wolf's scent. It probably was this wolfs pack. She studied this new wolf, weighing her chances. Being a good fight she could probably win in a fight, but could she take take on an entire pack? She couldn't risk it, Nightmare needed her though she'd never admit it. Jane slowly bent down, not taking her gold and green graze off the wolf. Quickly she snatched her prey and fled. 'Let them think I'm a coward. My sister needs me.'  she thought.

I had gotten tired of waiting for Jane. I walked through the forest, when I heard growling. I crouched curious. I was behind another wolf, down wind, who was hiding watching a scene unfold between my sister and another wolf. What has she done now? I thought.

I let out a furious snarl and leapt onto the hiding wolf's back, pushing her into the clearing. I leapt away befor the other wolf could get to their feet. Every hair on my back was raised as i stood infront of Jane. "You touch one hair on her head and I'll personally ensure you never see another day."

I must have been gone from pack life a long time because i had never seen a wolf submit and have the other wolf run away. It was clear that the wolf named sky was bigger and she was clearly the stronger of the two yet she had submited to (i sniffed the air ) Jane had run away. Maybe she had sensed me near by. I wasn't suprised a back draft probally blew my sent there way. I wondered who these two were and how they came to be alone or with out pack. I was going to my turn my back on the wolf standing there when she stared straight at me.

Just as Jane took off she heard her sister s familiar voice and skidded to a stop , kicking up dirt and leaves as she turned around and bounded up beside Nightmare growling. The fur along her spine was still fluffed up. 'Who was this wolf and what did she want.' she thought but kept it to herself, they may be sisters but Nightmare was still the Alpha. She bared her teeth , maintaining a low growl as she listened to Nightmare, waiting for any comand she might give. She didn t take her eyes off the wolf, to look a away was a sigh of submission.  

Oh my gosh now there was two wolves plus a nother that i had seen in the trees near by.

Maybe i should just run away i was kinda freaked out i should never confronted the wolf with dear now there was another she wolf it looked as if we were evenly matched in size but i didn't know who was stronger.

Im sorry I never meant any harm to you guys  I yelped I wasnt even sure if they seen the guy wolf would he back me up . I crouched down low maybe if i stayed down there would be no problems.

I let out a loud snarl WHO DARED TO ATTACK MY BACK I wasn't scared to attack the wolf who did it to me. I was a male wolf and she had attacked me. I would Take that from no one SHE WAS A FEMALE I was a male i was stronger than she was I had been fending for myself since I was young i was no stranger to a fight.

WHO ARE ALL OF YOU AND WHY ARE YOU HERE I snarled

My ears where flat against my head, my body pulled up , and my teeth were bared i was the one who had control I was a male wolf. i could easily take all three.

I raised my tail before dropping it to wag one turn, a silent signal to Jane to stand her ground but be at ease. I growled. "I highly doubt your claims. Wolves don't cross paths anymore, there are to few. And a gathering four wolves? What are the chances. I'm not stupid, you two searched Jane out, and I personally don't feel to warm and fuzzy about that. So why don't you state why your really here, or scram." I was't sure who these wolves where, but I didn't trust them for a second. Wolves didn't gather unless they were packs, and currently, there where hardly enough wolves to form anything more the bachelor bands.

I stopped baring my teeth but i stood my ground. i stared at the wolf Nightmare intently she seemed ready to face me male wolf or not. How about a truce, we are so few in it would be a shame to attack you guys. As for you i have no pack and as far as sky i dont know her i was merly tracking a fellow wolf because i am in need of a pack and as far as i know you guys have no alpha male but i do smell a rogue close by. We should focus on the humans. Then i turned my gaze on Sky

Man i was still in my peace making postion so i straightened out The  wolf swift was staring at me and i withered under his gaze I may be a healthy she wolf  but i was no match for a full grown male wolf. I stared at the wolves nightmare and jane they seemed as tense as i was.

I say we form a truce i said to all three of them

i was tired of playing submissive wolf my alpha nature was starting to come out. I raised my head and locked eyes with Nightmare and i stood my ground waiting for her answer 

Forest:

A 100 sqare miles of forest that covers part of a mountain and its foothills. It is filled with small mountian streams, most of which are poluted from the surrounding cities.

Mountain:

With peaks higher than the clouds, the top is covered in snow year round. Near the bottom is a network of caverns filled with crystals and underground rivers that have remained untouch for thousands of years.

Cities:

Bright and shining, it just keeps growing, threatening to consume what little forest is left.

 

You are a wolf. The time of humans is ready to fall, and your kinds time to rise. After the great massacre of your species, you and only a handful of wolves are left to take down trillions of cities. Though many died, something good did come out of all of the deaths, anger. The remaining wolves have had it, and are ready to fight to the death. It is time to rally forces and defeat the humans and rid the world of the plague that has destroyed the planet. So will you fight, or run with your tail tucked?

Humans have long since covered the earth with their polluting cities. What few wild places were left are tough and violent. The press of humans has caused the animals to adapt and evolve faster than ever before. Fascinated, the scientist studied the top predators to explore these new advances. What the found horrified them.
The wolf had evolved into a new advanced being, rivaling that of humans. They had learned not only how to survive, but how to thrive. The wolves grew angry over the humans foolishness and disrespect for the earth. War began. Wolves were hunted to near extinction, with bounties on their pelts dead or alive. Few escaped, and even few lived.

Please use actual wolf ages, a wolf just isn't going to be 14 or 20 years old.

No cussing but if you absolutely have to blank it out somehow.
