Xiux was trying to get the magnet to work for artificial earthbending."  Maybe somehow, he could make the magnet more powerful?"  He thought of how magnets attracted metals, so he tried that."  He tried it in every different way, when he finally gave up."  He'd done everything you could possible do with a hunk of metal and a magnet, and it wasn't working."  He decided to do some studying on some weapons in different nations, when he saw a whip, and everything clicked into place."  He didn't need a hunk of metal, but maybe a string of metal?"  Or a cube of metal?"  Of course, he'd have to pay a smith for the metal string and or cube."

Whitefire walked to her dorm, ignoring any friendl conversation that people tried to start with her. She held her head high, and stoped when she saw someone opening her doorm room. Great, she was sharing with someone. "Hey!" she called to the kid. "You in this doorm to?" her voice sounded edgey and a little hostile. She didn't want this kid getting so comfortable she takes it into her hand to look through her stuff. Whitefire opened the door and marched in. Picking a bed and ploping down on the bed. "My bed, your bed." she said pointing at the bed on the oppisite side of the room. She got up and grabbed a box containing her things and begane to make the bed. The sheets were a deep violet and the blanket had a dragon on it.

Post: JaiYi was already in the room and she had decorated her side already so the outburst was ignored as she sat on her fully decorated side and went to reading the chapter required for class tomorrow. "It's nice to meet you too" she said plainly as she clicked around the desk. There was the slightes of laughter as the girl went on to say your bed, my bed, it was quite different to what she was used to getting. Still JaiYi did not attempt to make the girl feel bad, instead she on reading, waiting for her to be settled. "Not that you care much," JaiYi could be just as snotty as she was, "but I'm JaiYi"

Xiux thought of himself as lucky, because no one else had walked into the room yet."  If no one else was in room 317, then hewould have more space for all his bending gadgets, and, as a plus, there wouldn't be a bender in his room."  After that pleasent thought, he began expiramenting with the limits of compressed air and water."  Compressed air and steam could do much more than compressed water, that was sure, but you couldn't make blades with it."  Maybe eveything had a magnet, a fire magnet, a water magnet..."  Of course, that would be too easy."  Suddenly, the concoction he'd made to try and make magnetized water exploded."  Good thing it was harmless."  He bent down and began to pick up the fragments of glass the liquid had been contained in.

Setting Update: Good morning...most alarm clocks are going off. Breakfast is in the dining hall and Many classes have already started and let out, if you have an AM class you should be getting ready to go.

Whitefire woke up. The alarm clock sending an unwecomed shock wave through her brain. JaiYi was already up. She ignored her and got dressed. She stoped and pulled out a book. The book had been her mothers, and whitefire kept it safe. Her father had dystroted almost everything of her mothers, and this book was a little charred, but intact. She leafed through the pages slowly, befor putting it under her matriss. She walked over to the window and opened it, inhaleing the fresh air. Today, was supposed to be practice with rings and arcs, but she had already learnd those. She knew how to do streams and fireballs, but they were a difficulty for her, especially fireballs. She wanted to move on to streams, so she could master it but fo now, she'd have to live with it.

Xiux woke up, rolled out of bead, and punched the alarm clock."  But he didn't have any classes yet, his first started later on."  Right now, he was trying to recreate fire bending."  So far, he managed nothing."  But, the compressed air gave him an idea."  If he could get fuel for fire in a gasseous form, he could compress it, set a flaming stick at the front of the contraption, at let streams of fuel out, creating stream of fire."  He could also refine the machine, and create fireballs in this way."  He went to the library, and read around, trying to find something on explosive or flamable gas."  He found it, but it was hard to obtain and came in few places.

Post: JaiYi was awake and studying when Whitefire woke. She had already been to her class and now was back and getting ready for her Afternoon class in the Earth part of the stadium...it was Beginners bending. So the girl was reading the next chapter. She humed a tune her nanny used to hum to her when she grew up. The only thing about being Earth native was being able to accept and respect other peoples cold shoulders. Even though getting to know Whitefire would eventually be unevitable for the both of them. At the moment JaiYi was as uncomfortable as she was with being forced to cohabitate. So as her roommate left she called behind her, "Have a good day."

Post: His alarm clock didn't go off in time. Kaemon was up early in the morning there was some explosive the floor below him, so Kaemon went to investigate. There of course was darkness and therefore he did not knock, but returned to his dorm wanting to check it out in the morning. So this very morning Kaemon waltz his way down to the 3rd floor to room 17, or 317 as it was so honorably marked. He hesitated breifly...of course everyone here was still apprehensive about each other. He wasn't sure if the person or persons behind this door was hostile or what. He didn't know what to expect and the young college student stood frozen in motion with a hand raised to knock.

Whitefire heard a "Good morning!" she ignored it and stalked to her class. The teacher nodded to her a told her to join the others in the corner of the room as she moved desks. Whitefire stood secluded from the other fire benders, almost in the oppisite corner. The teacher had them line up and kick. They all fallowed. The teacher called each individual studant to the front. Whitefire was up first. She did a large round kick, fire bursting from her foot. The teacher thanked her and she walked back to her seat to watch the others. Some did it, others failed miseably, one kid even fell over backwards. Great, the class of idiots. She thought to herself.

Meanwhile, Xiux was trying to see how much water he could compress into a single gallon container."  He was hiding behind a barricade made out of the spare bed, and he would continue to pump until the metal contraption could hold no more."  He kept pumping, bringign more and more water into the small metal contraption, and from the noise in the room it sounded like it was going to burst."  So far, Xiux had a substatial amount, but he continued to pump, because he wanted to know the very limit of the strongest known refined metal."  He kept going, and going, there was so much in there now, he hoped the force of the explosion would blow the dooe down, that was likely."  Then, the contraption exploded.

Post: Kaemon went on to listen, pressing his ear up against the door. He slowed his breathing to hear better. There was a lot of tinkering going on. There was noise and something happening. There was some tensing in the air and Kaemon knew something was about to happen. Then came the explosion, for fear of someone being hurt the young boy backed up and ran full force into the door...only to stop. He wasn't going to be fixing doors at college...so he knocked. Maybe the person wasn't hurt, maybe they can get to or call to the door. No matter how stupid he'd look for knocking first Kaemon wasn't about go rushing into someone's private area.

There was splashing inside the room."  Xiux opened the door, soaked, and large amounts of water came pouring out, flowing down the halls."  He looked at Kaemon for a moment, before asking "What is it?"  Am I too loud?"  I would soundproof the walls, but that's too expensive." Xiux quietly waited for an answer, hiding his fear of benders, (because this person was probably a bender) for one reason only: if he was waking people, his expiraments might be banned, and they might take his gadgets and keep him from artificial bending, because, according to the school, "Well restedness of students" was a first priority, and if Xiux was waking people up in the night, that would break the priority.

Post: Kaemon looked at the soaked guy and gave a good natured smile. "Naw I was just worried someone was hurt inside." He blinked around the room a lot of scientific stuff, this guy must be smart. He wasn't aware of his non bending, but wouldn't have been so thrown, not everyone in Fire Nation are benders, and from what he knew of the other places, there was more Non bending Earth citizens thant there was bending. "I could help you sound proof if you were okay with that?" he offered. "I did hear the same explosions last night and I'm a floor up, so maybe a little help wouldn't hurt." Kaemon offered, his offer was genuine and he was sure that at least if the guy didn't accept that he'd besure that Kaemon wouldn't report him. Not to mention Afternoon classes would be starting soon.

Setting Update: The sun is high up, it is a beautiful sunny day, Fire benders should be at their best today. Morning Classes are ending, The Dining Hall is putting out lunch, and afternoon classes are starting. It is day two, the professors are likely to assign projects or essays as they feel you are now acclimated.

Elemental University is a typical college. There are classes you must attend, as well as Bending practices, teams and clubs. There are groups and common grounds, dorms and eating halls. The most desired place is the Benders Stadium. This contains everything needed for mixed battles, as well as same Element battles.  There is an Iced Pool Arena for Waterbending battles, Columned cliff for Earthbending Battles, Ring of Fire for Agni Kais and the Sphere of Wind for Airbender practices. There is also a neutral ground with something for all elements for mixed Battles. Explore your school and get to know students, practice your art, and try to graduate at Master Level.

You are a college student in the Halls of Elemental University. Benders from all over come to study courses on the World, War History, Bending and More. Here you mingle with many other Students like yourself, of different abilities…the ultimate goal is to graduate at Master Level.

Every one starts, as Realized Beginner…Advancement is approved/provided by the Admin and usually in your next year of study

It is modern time. More advanced means of transportation has been made, although we are still lacking cars due to being mostly benders and still reliant on the earth.

EU was built, as well as other universities, 200 years after the attempt of Emperor Ozai. The school is the oldest Bending College around with the widest range of studies. Students here are expected to place their energy on studying and bending.
