Grendile looked at their hideout. It wasn't very secret now, but the second band were probably the only other people that knew of it. He hoped that no one else would find it, to him it was the only place he considered home. "We should move soon. Errala, when was the last time you saw our criminal?"

Errala looked up at Grendile focusing her attention on him. "We saw him nearby this area in Kolnco, Deonday chased him into an alleyway but the criminal shot him with a dart. Before Deonday chased him the criminal blew up a building. All this was a few hours before Hokey revived you."

Grendile went to his bag pulling out a pen and his journal. He then went to a nearby stone and begun writing something down. "Judging on what you said he most likely would still be in Kolnco, bounty hunters are probably swarming the perimiters of the town so our criminal most likely moved downtown, which is far from the area where you said the building was blown."

Jewels' eyes lit up. "Well, the place i was thinking of is near downtown! We could research the guy then go after him, that is, if he doesn't move more..." She fiddled with her gun, loading new bullets into it. She aimed for a stump about fifty meters away then shot it. There was a small thud and she smiled. She knew she hit it.

Allison walked over to the others rubbing her head. Her head still hurt from the fall and so did her leg. "What's happening?" She asked, dazed.

Zonan smiled at Xina then began walking toward the large building.

Xina looked at Zonan, Farren curled around her legs looking around protively. Xina stood up and rubbed Farren's head gently. She smiled when she felt the familiar warmth from the dog's fur, shuddering when she remebered her past, she pulled her hand away from the dog and back at Zonan. "Uhmn.." She stuttered, she had a question to ask him, to make her more useful, but obviously this wasn't the time. She looked at the building where they planned to go bravely, she loked back at Zonan, trying to regain her usual voice, "Well then. Let's go."

Lilya nodded and pondered for a bit, "If you say just down the street... I know this city well and that's near my alleyway.." She said pondering while Hokey chatted with Errala.

"Based on the fact he blew up a building some time ago. He probably won't be moving for a few days. But that's no excuse to fool around." Grendile put his journal away and gave a look around. He'd miss being somewhere that to him felt like home. But he knew they'd have to move on soon. He looked at Deonday who was still calmly lying on the ground. "Jewels, we're going to need somewhere downtown where Deonday can rest. Now what exactly is this place you know of?"

Grasha looked at the building they were about to enter. "D-does anyone k-know what might b-be in there?" Grasha looked nervously at the building.

Ferru watched and followed his group from as far as possible, at most times, as large groups attract predators.  Sure, there was saftey in numbers, but he was an introvert anyway, so he'd probably get picked off from the sides of the group.   They were about to set up in that abandoned building over there.  It looked sturdy enough, and the idea of it being a research facility was uplifting, for they usually had four things:  Useful information, sturdy metal walls, their own electrical generators (which usually had an impresive output, and wi-fi.  Very few places ever had wi-fi.

Jewels smiled and pointed to a small dot on the map. "It's really nice. I've stayed there many times, and the family that owns it is really sweet." She looked thoughtful for a moment then spoke again, "but we need some way of getting there. We all cant fit on Batlor..." She looked at the map again.

Allison plopped down onto a stump near the group. She rubbed her head. "ugh... stupid Zonan and his stupid sword and that stupid lady..."

Zonan looked at Grasha. He smiled and gave a small chuckle. "Hah, nothing much. maybe if we're lucky we'll find some old genetically engineered creatures!" he teased.

Grasha hated the idea of finding something besides crates. "I don't think I'm going to like this place."

Grendile looked carefully at the map. "If we have to we can walk there. It only looks at most like it would take an hour to walk there. Batlor will have to hold Deonday because he still needs rest." Grendile continued looking carefully at the map. "It would only take an hour if we were all walking really slow. It looks like it would take us half an hour to get there." He continued looking at the map.

Deonday heard Lilya's promise. "Alright then." He listened closely to what everyone was saying as he lied on the ground. He listened close enough to figure out they were moving downtown.

Xina pushed Grasha out of the way and looked at looming building. "Who cares what you think? We might find something else in there. Like.. creatures, probably dead... but you never know.." She whispered and then looked at Zonan, "Well?"

Lilya nodded, "We'll have to wait for Deonday to rest a little bit first, he probably isn't ready to go on a little walking expedition yet." She said pointedly, looking down at Deonday with a concerned look on her face.

Farren flicked her tail-tip. She felt Wolf grab at her. She growled and the criminal flinched away, "Xina, you need to train your rat." He scoffed and Xina completely ignored him. Farren glared at Wolf and stood next to her master protectively, sensing her nervousness.

Grendile looked over at Lilya. "He will need rest before we can go. He's going to need plenty of rest due to the amount of blood he lost. Honestly I'm suprised he's not dead yet. Usually if someone lost the amount of blood he did they'd most likely fall over dead. We have to make sure he doesn't do too much moving around." Grendile looked around at the trees, something was different about them. He then realized that some of them had knives, scratches, or burn marks on them. He looked away from the trees at the ground. There was a small snake slithering by. It was a king snake, he looked back at Iken who he now realized was coiled around his neck. "King snakes do look alot like your kind don't they? Obviously there's a difference in color. It's pathetic that some people can get them confused with your species."

Lilya nodded to Grendile and looked at Deonday, "No moving around for you." She said strictly.

Iken flicked his tongue in distaste, "King snakes are pathetic little weaklings! They're nothing but harmless little rabbits compared to the Coral Snake Empire!" The king snake seemed to hear Iken's comment and hissed in alert, "A coral snake in king snake territory! I must alert the leader!" He slithered into a nearby hole and Iken looked at it calmly. "Seems that the king snakes know how to fight now. What a difference." He commented to Grendile.

Hokey watched as a rabbit hopped into the area warily, and starting to munch on a clover patch.

Deonday heard that he wasn't allowed to move around. For a fact he couldn't move around much because of the fact he was still exhausted. "Fine..."

Grendile looked at the king snake that had slithered down a hole. "It's amazing really that animals can look so much alike by be so very different. I've seen some very disturbing things before. I've heard that some snakes will eat their own species. The worst case I've heard of reptiles eating one another is with the case of the kamodo dragon. It's sick that some of them will eat their own young. I'm guessing with snakes it's more of a territory thing. Snakes usually only attack other snakes because they have to. With the kamodo dragon it's usually because their hungry. Some other types of reptiles can be sick. Hey, have you heard of worm lizards? They look alot like snakes, but in that case there's differences too."

Errala watched the rabbit with Hokey. "Some rabbits are vicious. That rabbit doesn't look like trouble though."

Zonan looked at Xina and nodded with a smile. "Lets go. We dont have all night..." He walked up to a boarded up door and took out his flaming swords. He slashed the door in half and walked in, stepping on it as it burned silently then went out. "He turned around and smiled at them. "Come in, come in." He flipped a switch and turned on some old lights. He wiped the dust on his coat from the switch.

Jewels looked at the others. "I think we should go in the morning to give us time to rest up after this battle, unless you want to go now?" She suggested.

Lilya looked at Deonday, "I don't we should go now. Deonday still has to rest, he lost of lot of blood you know. We should wait until morning, I doubt that Zonan would strike twice, let alone Xina letting him will be very low." She muttered, her hand on Deonday's chest while she looked at Jewels, waiting for her comment on the situation.

Xina looked around quickly. She looked at the dust that covered everything, "Well, no one has came here for a while that's for certain." Farren was sniffing around and she sneezed slightly when dust went in her nose. She padded around, squeezing through areas to make sure it was safe for her master.

The moment she stepped into the abandon building joy filled her heart. One of her favorite things to do was dust. "This wills be funs! I loves to dusts." Feralie started to sweep the floors with her tail. After a few minutes of dusting there was an entire pile of dust that she swept up. "I loves dusting!" Feralie continued to sweep the floors with her tail.

Grendile heard Lilya's comment. He knew that she was waiting for Jewels to say something. He looked back at Iken rubbing his head.

Deonday heard everything fine, he felt alright too. Right now he just felt lightheaded. He couldn't see much because he was layed on the ground. The only things he could see was what was above him.

Jewels looked at Lilya. "I wouldn't be surprised if he did strike again. But he wont. They're tired just like us." She said softly and got up. She slowly walked to the hideout. She walked out to the rope ladder hanging down from the deck. She began her climb up the long, old ropes. When she had finally gotten to the top, she gripped the rope harder, and reached her leg out to touch the old, weathered wooden boards of the deck. She brought herself over to the deck with her leg and hopped off of the rope. Hina was waiting for her in the hideout. She smiled at him and walked in through the entrance. She took off her coat, threw it onto a chair, and plopped down into the nearest couch. It hurt her back to slouch so she lay down on her side. She slowly closed her eyes. She suddenly felt something drop onto her and yelped. She opened her eyes quickly and found herself face to face with Hina's nose. He leaned over and licked her face, leaving a streak of slimy, gleaming drool on her face. She wiped it off and smiled at him. "What are you doing Hina?" She asked playfully. She scratched gently under his chin. he tilted his head, closed his eyes, and let his tounge hang out in complete submission. She smiled and pushed him off. He playfully tried to get back on but Jewels held him back. "Go on now, Hina." She said, getting impatient. Hina obeyed with a small, dog-like sigh and trotted back out onto the deck. Allison emerged from the edge of the deck and walked over to greet him. "Hey there, doggy!" she patted him on the head and walked into the hideout, Hina trotted close behind her. She found Jewels sprawled out on a couch, fast asleep. She gave a small giggle and tip-toed over to a window. She leaned out of it and looked into the fading sunlight. the sun had just sank behind the mountains, and the evening chill had already come. Mosquitoes were bound to swarm soon, and the birds were ending their evening songs. Allison gave a heavy sigh. It was beautiful.

Zonan raised his eyebrow at Feralie. "Well, at least this place will be in better condition than when we found it!" he said jokingly. He walked over to and old chair that happened to be near a desk. There were broken test tubes scattered throughout the building, their shattered pieces crunching under their feet as they walked. He saw a completely intact test tube sitting on a nearby shelf. He picked it up. it was fogged over so you couldn't see what was inside. He gently smeared away the fog with his thumb and looked inside. There seemed to be some sort of strange reptilian fish creature. He raised his eyebrow at it and continued to examine it. "Thats interesting.... very interesting..." He set it back down and looked around. Before them was a large, almost never ending hallway. There were several smaller hallways to the left and right of them. "We should explore this area more to see what we're dealing with. But, which hallway should we take?" he asked everybody. Jade looked at him. 'Well, I think we should take the larger one. It probably leads to the most information because, well, its so big." She smiled and examined her long nails. Zonan looked at her. "Size isn't everything. But, it may or may not have the most information." He pointed out. He turned toward the rest of the group who were also looking around the area. "So, where do you think we should head? Or, should we split up and look at each one, then report back here?" he asked.

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.

A person has gone missing and there is a very large bounty for whoever finds him. The only problem is: it's like he disappeared from the face of the Earth!
