Batlor looked at Hokey happily. He could tell he was a bit more calmer around him. The horse whinnied in delight as Hokey pet him. He looked at Hokey with delighted and curious eyes.
Lilya's heart beated fast when deonday loooked at her and she whispered in agreement with him, "It will hard without Grendile, he was the one who healed us when we were injured and helped us fight. I think it might be impossible without him." She sighed, remembering when they first met. She chuckled, she almost killed him, Hokey almost killed Grendile, and Jewels was hanging back, obviously not wanting to fight them. SHe looked at Deonday, thinking of then and now, she sighed and gave herself a facepalm for being so stupid in the past.
Hokey smiled seeing the horse was happy with being petted by him, Hokey stood a safe distance away from Batlor though.
Baltor walked a bit closer to Hokey with a happy expression. He was trying to make Hokey feel better about Grendile.
Errala was glad Hokey enjoyed her gift. Then she noticed Lilya was acting strange. "Hokey, I think something is wrong with Lilya. She's acting like she's in pain, should we worry?" Errala looked at Batlor who just looked mindless standing there. Errala looked at Deonday who seemed worried too. "Hokey, do you think we should go help your master? It looks like her head hurts."
Lilya narrowed her eyes, trying to overthrow the painful voices, "The...the voices. Do-don't you hear them?" She muttered painfully, her words barely choked out. She couldn't believe it if Deonday said he didn't hear them- they were terribly loud, painful, and evil. She cringed again when she heard their words, Kill them! Kill them all Lilya, or I will disinherit you! She shuddered painfully.
Hokey flicked his ear and looked at him master fearfully, he knew that she heard these voices in her head, but they were never this severe. Hen nodded, "But, I don't think we can do much to help her. She has to concertrate deeply." he muttered.
Errala looked worryingly at Lilya. She thought of what Hokey said. "So all she has to do is concentrate?" She knew what she said was correct if Hokey said so. "How is she suppost to do that?" Batlor snorted and looked at Lilya confused. He had no clue what was going on right now.
Errala sighed kicking a stone. "Grendile was very strong and brave. I'm going to miss his lecturing and magic. He was very smart too. He almost always knew what to do. He was also very kind and protective. He would give his life to protect us and keep us safe. I'm going to miss him, aren't you Hokey?"
Lilya smiled, believing Deonday, she sighed, "I know you will." She whispered to him. She sighed, feeling comforted by his words. She now realized- after all this action- that she was starting to get tired. She couldn't help but close her eyes. She sighed deeply, liking Deonday's warmth on such a cold night.
Hokey blinked sadly and nodded, agreeing with Errala, his ears and head hung low, "Yes I will miss Grendile, he was very powerful with his magic, and very useful and kind. He was almost like a leader to us all. Now- I guess Deonday took over. "
Errala walked over to Hokey seeing he was sad. "Deonday's the only other one who knows how to track this criminal of yours down, correct? If so then if he dies the rest of the group would be lost. We should make sure he stays alive. Grendile would probably want us to protect him and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. I think we'll all miss Grendile."
Lilya smiled when she noticed Deonday asleep. "Good night." She whispered and kissed his cheek. She laid her head on his shoulder and fell asleep with a smile on her face. But her sleep was uneasy.
Hokey nodded, "Yes- we'll have to take Grendile's place. I guess I'll have to learn a few basic healing spells- like how to regain consiousness, close wounds, and make them stop bleeding- I'll learn more advanced things later on. But now- I have to figure out how to learn healing spells. Maybe a spellbook of some kind- but I have no idea how to get one." He said with folded arms.
Errala sighed looking at the spot where Grendile disappeared. She held her held low in disappointment. "I can't believe he's gone. He was so good to us, and he helped us when we needed it most. I don't know where your going to get a healing book either. I'm pretty sure their not easy to come by." Errala sighed whimpering at the spot where Grendile dissapeared. She turned around looking back at Hokey with sad eyes. "We were his friends. Why couldn't we save him? He called us his friends..."

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.
A person has gone missing and there is a very large bounty for whoever finds him. The only problem is: it's like he disappeared from the face of the Earth! No one can find him, for he is expert at hiding, and now the two sides of Bounty Hunters feud, which doesn't help find this person any faster. Evil Bounty Hunters will kill anyone that gets in their way, as good bounty hunters only kill to cover their bare necessities.
