"I would have done something sooner but I was knocked uncontious by Feralie. When I went back to this area I came too late. I know you would've done something if you could." Deonday sighed looking back up at the moon. He was relieved for the fact it wasn't a hunters moon. He could barely see the stars because of the fact it was cloudy out. "It's not going to be easy without him."

Batlor looked at Hokey happily. He could tell he was a bit more calmer around him. The horse whinnied in delight as Hokey pet him. He looked at Hokey with delighted and curious eyes.

Lilya's heart beated fast when deonday loooked at her and she whispered in agreement with him, "It will hard without Grendile, he was the one who healed us when we were injured and helped us fight. I think it might be impossible without him." She sighed, remembering when they first met. She chuckled, she almost killed him, Hokey almost killed Grendile, and Jewels was hanging back, obviously not wanting to fight them. SHe looked at Deonday, thinking of then and now, she sighed and gave herself a facepalm for being so stupid in the past.

Hokey smiled seeing the horse was happy with being petted by him, Hokey stood a safe distance away from Batlor though.

Deonday sighed as he blinked his tears away. Grendile was the first one to care if he lived or died. "I wouldn't say impossible, just difficult. He was a very good friend and leader." Deonday looked back at the moon, he was upset right now. Deonday sighed looking at the moon, he whispered to himself so Lilya wouldn't hear. "Grendile, wherever you are, if you can hear me, let me tell you this. I will kill the criminal for you, along with Zonan and his followers. I'm sorry I couldn't save you Grendile..."

Baltor walked a bit closer to Hokey with a happy expression. He was trying to make Hokey feel better about Grendile.

Lillya looked at Deonday sadly, but her head started to hurt. She held her head with her right hand, and she gasped in pain, she laid her head on the wall of the alleyway, closing her eyes tightly in pain.  Excellent work! Your mission is nearly complete... She heard a melovant voice whisper in her head and she mumbled, "What do you want! Stop it!" Her voice was nearing a scream, she tried her best to shoo the voice off, but it's strength was intense, she looked at Deonday painfully, holding her head as the voice whispered unadioable words.
Deonday saw Lilya was in pain and he immediately reacted. "Lilya are you alright?" Deonday saw she was holding her head in pain, he put a hand onto her shouldr and looked at her. "What's the matter?"

Errala was glad Hokey enjoyed her gift. Then she noticed Lilya was acting strange. "Hokey, I think something is wrong with Lilya. She's acting like she's in pain, should we worry?" Errala looked at Batlor who just looked mindless standing there. Errala looked at Deonday who seemed worried too. "Hokey, do you think we should go help your master? It looks like her head hurts."

Lilya narrowed her eyes, trying to overthrow the painful voices, "The...the voices. Do-don't you hear them?" She muttered painfully, her words barely choked out. She couldn't believe it if Deonday said he didn't hear them- they were terribly loud, painful, and evil. She cringed again when she heard their words, Kill them! Kill them all Lilya, or I will disinherit you! She shuddered painfully.

Hokey flicked his ear and looked at him master fearfully, he knew that she heard these voices in her head, but they were never this severe. Hen nodded, "But, I don't think we can do much to help her. She has to concertrate deeply." he muttered.

Deonday couldn't hear any voices, but he could tell she was in great pain. He held her shoulder trying to compfert her. He didn't really know what else he could do to help her. He hated to see her in pain, he did his best to try and calm her down. "No I don't hear any voices."

Errala looked worryingly at Lilya. She thought of what Hokey said. "So all she has to do is concentrate?" She knew what she said was correct if Hokey said so. "How is she suppost to do that?" Batlor snorted and looked at Lilya confused. He had no clue what was going on right now.

Hokey raced up to his master and gently pushed Deonday out of the way, who looked as if he was to protest. hokey closed his eyes and held his hands up, Lilya stared at him, looking as if she were possesed. 15 minutes later, Hokey moved from his position, and Lilya blinked, regaining her mind back, she held her head, she had a major headache and Hokey rubebd his hands together and looked at Errala, "Like that." He said pointedly. Hokey stepped back and Deonday grabbed Lilya in his arms, Lilya blinked painfully and looked at Deonday. She sighed.
Deonday looked at Lilya worryingly. He was relieved that she looked a little better. "Are you OK now Lilya?" Deonday sighed as he held her in his arms. He had no clue what she meant by voices. He was thinking maybe it had something to do with the 'master' business. He looked at her with worry and curiousity. He didn't hear any voices, but she did. He knew she couldn't have been imagining if she was in pain that badly. Errala looked at Hokey amazed at what he did. "Oh... that's how." She was impressed easily by any form of magic. She was very interested in it.
Lilya took deep breaths tryingt o calm down, her head was throbbing though. She laid her head on Deonday's shoulder, "Yes...yes...I'm fine now." She whispered to him, and shuddered in fear that the voices now have a strength. She had a theory though- since Grendile had such powerful magic- he might have had this aura that defended her from this voice, and now that he was gone... it gained strength and was now starting to take over her mind. She shuddered and cuddled closer to Deonday, "W-what can I do now.... I might lose control of my mind.." She whsipered.
Deonday looked down at Lilya with a smile. He could tell she was a bit worried. "We won't let that happen. Your going to be fine. I promise." Deonday looked at Lilya trying to compfert her. Deonday always meant to keep his promises, he looked truthfully and sincerely at Lilya to show he would mean to keep his promise.

Errala sighed kicking a stone. "Grendile was very strong and brave. I'm going to miss his lecturing and magic. He was very smart too. He almost always knew what to do. He was also very kind and protective. He would give his life to protect us and keep us safe. I'm going to miss him, aren't you Hokey?"

Lilya smiled, believing Deonday, she sighed, "I know you will." She whispered to him. She sighed, feeling comforted by his words. She now realized- after all this action- that she was starting to get tired. She couldn't help but close her eyes. She sighed deeply, liking Deonday's warmth on such a cold night.

Hokey blinked sadly and nodded, agreeing with Errala, his ears and head hung low, "Yes I will miss Grendile, he was very powerful with his magic, and very useful and kind. He was almost like a leader to us all. Now- I guess Deonday took over. "

Deonday sighed smiling to know that Lilya felt calmer and less afraid. He looked at the moon, the night was very cold and silent. It seemed that way once Grendile died. He looked back at Lilya smiling. Deonday could tell she was tired. Deonday was exhausted too after being injured twice, killed once, and watching Grendile leave. He sighed, eventually Deonday had fallen asleep.

Errala walked over to Hokey seeing he was sad. "Deonday's the only other one who knows how to track this criminal of yours down, correct? If so then if he dies the rest of the group would be lost. We should make sure he stays alive. Grendile would probably want us to protect him and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. I think we'll all miss Grendile."

Lilya smiled when she noticed Deonday asleep. "Good night." She whispered and kissed his cheek. She laid her head on his shoulder and fell asleep with a smile on her face. But her sleep was uneasy.

Hokey nodded, "Yes- we'll have to take Grendile's place. I guess I'll have to learn a few basic healing spells- like how to regain consiousness, close wounds, and make them stop bleeding- I'll learn more advanced things later on. But now- I have to figure out how to learn healing spells. Maybe a spellbook of some kind- but I have no idea how to get one." He said with folded arms.

Baltor looked confused around the alleyway. It disappointed him that most everyone was asleep.

Errala sighed looking at the spot where Grendile disappeared. She held her held low in disappointment. "I can't believe he's gone. He was so good to us, and he helped us when we needed it most. I don't know where your going to get a healing book either. I'm pretty sure their not easy to come by." Errala sighed whimpering at the spot where Grendile dissapeared. She turned around looking back at Hokey with sad eyes. "We were his friends. Why couldn't we save him? He called us his friends..."
