Deonday smiled at Grendile who had agreed with him. Grendile turned the other way feeling upset that he had scared them. Deonday turned to Lilya with a faint smile. "Sorry about that, I promise he won't do something like that again." Grendile looked at the damadge be had done in the process of trying to kill Xina. The entire area was leveled. Grendile remembered when he was fighting Ferru on the train he had melted half of the train cart, almost killing Deonday, Hokey, and Lilya. Grendile decided to sit down on a nearby rock to think to himself. "Why do I get angry like I did. Why can't I control my anger. Maybe the real brick head around here is me, I have to be more careful." Grendile talked to himself in a way so no one else would hear him.

Lilya looked att he ground, guilty. She heart Grendile, as she guessed, he didn't like to be called 'evil' evidently. Lilya sighed and gently layed her head on Deonday's shoulder, her eyes clouded with guilt. Hokey looked at his master then he started to speak in elf language, muttering things about himself, obviosuly bad things, insulting hismelf for making his master feel guilty.

Xina roleld her eyes, "Why won't they DO anything interesting? All they're doing now is being emo! Gah!" She said frustarted wuith them, Farren flicked her ears one at a time and barked i nagreement. Xina continued watching.

Deonday kept a positive attitude as he looked at Lilya, Hokey, and Grendile. "Where will complaining get us?" Deonday looked at Jason and Jewels who had stopped fighting, Zonan had disappeared again. "We should all cheer up, shouldn't we?" Grendile looked to the side to see Deonday who was trying to cheer them up. He looked away with a smile. "At least they care for me." Grendile looked at his swords beginning to sharpen them against a rock."Shouldn't we be heading to Capicorn? Zonan dissapeared again and his followers most likely don't want to hurt us again." Grendile gave a smile feeling a little better. He looked around until he saw a group of posters on a tunnel wall. The criminal was now $500,000,000. As he looked around he saw Deonday and his poster. They both now were each $100,000,000. "That's not good." Grendile pulled the three posters and went back to the group, first showing them the poster for the criminal.

Lilya looked at the poster and narrowed her eyes, "Hmm... he must be doingthings to really tick them off." She muttered, even though she was a Bounty Hunter, she refers to them as "them" or "they".  She narrowed her eyes, she felt so against this hunt, but she sticks with her friends anyways... besides, she couldn't leave Deonday. "Are we going to go after him?" She muttered. Hokey sighed and shook his head his ears flopping, Bounty Hunters! he thought slowly.

Xina smiled and studied the poster through the crystal ball, "Now they are actually doing something.." She muttered interested.

Grendile showed the price that Deonday and he were worth. "That train reck, me and Deonday were the ones who were blamed for it." Grendile heard what Lilya muttered and gave a sigh. "Me and Deonday have been looking for this criminal for two years now, none of you have to come. But me and Deonday will be going after him." Grendile looked at Deonday who was still looking at the price he was. "They must really want us dead, and I can't believe they only blamed me and Grendile, the nerve of some people." Grendile sighed knowing that Deonday was trying to ignore what he just said to Lilya. Deonday didn't want to leave Lilya's sighed so he stayed out of what he was saying. Grendile looked again at Lilya. "The first place we're heading to is an abandon haunted mantion. Mostly because after the caverns that's most likely the next place he'll go. Our criminal will probably already be there once we get inside. He is known to set up plenty of traps, oh, and to remind everyone. This place is haunted so I'd be careful."

Lilya blinked and quickly dashed to Deonday's side, "Of course I'm going Grendile! How could you be so folihs, pfft." She said quickly. The ghost rolled his eyes and Lilya glared at him silently. Then listened to the ghost and mumbled, "Yeah of cours e ahaunte dmanshion is dangerous, not all ghosts are as 'nice' as Grendile." She said sarcastically. Hokey was eeirly silent as he listened to the humans and ghost.

XIna smiled, "So, we have to go find an haunte dmanshion eh? How interesting.. seems Zonan's thought of going into the tunnels was wrong. Traps and ghosts, opfft terrifying."

"When I mean haunted it's not just ghosts. There's huge serpents, some cerberus, a vampire and a werewolf or two, mummies, some dragons, living skeletons, zombies, and even better there are some Hellhounds that wound be happy to chew our legs off. This place is very dangerous, but it's a huge mantion, most of those creatures are randomly scattered. And when I mean traps I'm talking about swinging axes, darts, trip wires, and 'fun' things in those categories." Grendile sighed as he watched Deonday who now was listening. "Won't that be fun. Let me think, if we're not going to be killed by traps there are the monsters to back it up. But what would our criminal want there?" Grendile turned to Deonday and the group to talk. "Let's think here, why would you gaurd a mansion with monsters in the first place. I heard there's plenty of treasure, rarely made weapons, and very ancient books. Now why would you want to gaurd that?" Grendile spoke the last sentence with a very sarcastic tone.
Sorian listened with interest. She didn't care much for the treasure, though she was slightly interested... She knew that old haunted places were usually crawling with mice and other rodents. And Sorian was near to starvation. She hadn't seen a single edible creature in almost a week. "May I come along?" She said quietly, disturbing the Sweepers' converstion. Grendile seemed a bit cautious. "Why should we let you come with us? You would just get in our way and scare the living daylights out of everyone." Sorian smiled. "Because, I can help you find your criminal. I have silent flight, and I can hear things that only owls can.
Insanek cackled at the comment of the owl-person, as he twitched.  Did she realy think she was all she cracked herself up to be?  From what he had seen, she was animalisticly impulsive, primitive, and a bit narccisistic.  Insanek cackled again, while pulling out his last kill's stomach.  He took a large bite out of it, eating a little over half.  Suddenly, as he unintentionally twitched ywt again, Insanek realized he'd done that last one too loud.  All eyes were on him.  He gave a nervous chuckle, before cackling ar his own stupidity.  The humor of it all, being caught spying because you were laughing at the antics of the victims.
Deonday looked at Sorian with a smile across his face. "You have helped us out alot lately. I don't see why not." Deonday heard a very familiar laughter. Deonday looked with shock at Insanek. In reaction he pulled out his gun. Deonday had remembered what Insanek had almost done before. He gave Insanek a very hateful look as he tightened his grip around his gun. "What more do you want?! I know you aren't going to think of killing us. So tell me, why do you keep fallowing us?" Deonday calmed down a little as he stood still. "Why are you fallowing us, Is there something you want?" Deonday held his gun right in case Insanek might attack.
As Insanek twitched, his first reaction to the threat, he winced, an unusual noice for him.  He hoped the movement wouldn't trigger a reaction from Deonday.  He then chucckled lightly, and swallowed the remains of the stomach.  "I have three reasons, good reasons for following you." Insanek answered.  "The first reason is the fact that you and the ghost know the most; I raided the hide out of your competitors, and they know surprisingly little.  Two, you guys seem much easier to kill if you get the bounty first, as that is one bounty I'm not letting slip out of my hands, excluding the ghost, for a while I thought he was dead, and Three, your antics crack me up."  Insanek twitched, and cackled.
Deonday now held his gun tight about ready to pull the trigger. He couldn't tell if Insanek wanted to kill him, ignore him, or he had something else in mind. "You won't be laughing when I blow your head off, now will you?" Deonday pointed his gun angrily at Insanek. Deonday had no clue what Insanek wanted. Confusion had almost caused him to stand like he did the first time Insanek had attacked him. He quickly regained his focus as he held his gun tight. "Are you friend, foe, or neither Insanek? If your foe I won't hesitate to kill you. If I have to fight you I promise it won't end up like last time!"
Insanek cackled again, and answered the first question first.  "Actually, I probably would be laughing.  Such is the case with my mental ilness." Insanek cackled again, and twitched.  Still twitching, he answered the second question.  "I suppose I'm nuetral." he answered.  "I mean, I would probably kill you if you got to the man you know we're all after first, but hey, 500 million is worth quite a bit more than my lousy consceince.  Insanek cackled again, and stared straight at the gun.  As Deonday shakingly stared at Insanek's face, Insanek twitchingly returned his gaze, and slowly removed the Karchin powder.  This classified as an emergency.
Deonday shot at Insanek's leg, he watched in shock as he disappeared. Deonday looked around worryingly, he couldn't find Insanek anywhere, by any means this was very bad for him. Deonday looked at Grendile who also was looking fearfully around. Deonday knew that Grendile would protect him at any cost. What worried both of them was Insanek was nowhere to be seen. As he continued to look around he noticed that Grendile was still a few feet away from him. Then Deonday had heard a faint cackle behind him, when he turned around again he saw Insanek, and he had Karchen powder.
Insanek, after cackling examined the tear in his clothing, where several scales had come off.  He held the small sack threateningly.  "I see you haven't decided to play nice."  Insanek said in a creepy voice, as usuall, twitching.  "Does anyone want to vouch for his inner kindness?  Perhaps you want to tell me he's bipolar, and is anything but a mediocre killer every other second of the day?  I know what your thinking, Deonday, and you ghost is reason for your success.  And speaking of you, Grendile, if I see, feel, smell, or hear any trace of you casting as spell or even moving, for that matter, this bag goes in Deonday's face.  Care to explain what the bag does, Deonday?"

A Day in the Life of a Sweeper
Setting

The setting is on the continent of Carnon. Carnon is a huge land with many cities and different climates. Covering the land are series of species of mythical creatures, animals, and humans. It is said that under the city are underground caverns...

Cities

Capricorn: Capricorn is a mysterious and small town in the high, misty Mountains of the War. This was where the many wars were fought to free this country from the evil people of Sharquee, their former controller. Nobody really lives in Capricorn, except for widows and the extremely poor. But, some say that the secret entrance to the underground caverns, is in one of the shops... but no one really knows.

Kolnco: The Gem of the Coast. Thats what the people call Kolnco. Its a beautiful place for vacation, retirement, or just living. The beaches are the best on Carnon and the people are friendly and kind. It's famous for it's yearly 'Fish Feast. That's when all the fishermen in the city go out and catch as many fish as they can, then they fry them all up and the entire city gets to eat all-you-can-eat fish!

South Banks Megalopolis: A huge city on the river of Ja where the crime rate is large and the death toll is also large. Many sweepers come here to earn huge bounties but are often killed in the process. Only the most elite can come here and earn the bounty.

Plot

" A sweeper only needs a genuine desire to help..."

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.

A person has gone missing and there is a very large bounty for whoever finds him. The only problem is: it's like he disappeared from the face of the Earth! No one can find him, for he is expert at hiding, and now the two sides of Bounty Hunters feud, which doesn't help find this person any faster. Evil Bounty Hunters will kill anyone that gets in their way, as good bounty hunters only kill to cover their bare necessities.

History
This person that has gone missing has made the Bounty Hunters angry, by stealing many of their bounties and killing many of them. This person also killed many innocent people and robbed them of their money. He is a greedy thief, and we have no idea what he's doing or where he is. And when he disappeared, the Bounty Hunters were trying their best to find him...but he just disappeared suddenly. The bounty for him has risen as the years went by-but, no one can seem to find him no matter how much riches are at stake. And the Bounty Hunters still try to find him.
