Jewels kicked the rocks off of her, and saw the owl woman standing above her. She wished she could hide back under the rocks. She stood up bravely, holding her gun which was crushed. She looked up at the owl. She was very tall. Hina sniffed at the feet of the owl woman, but she kicked Hina away. Jewels started to back away slowly, but was stopped by the owl. "Stop. Dont leave!" The owl said in a soft, chiming voice. Jewels looked surprised again. This wild owl woman could talk?! She thought, putting her crushed gun in her pocket, keeping her eyes on the owl.
Lilya moaned rubbing her head, ugh, headaches, joy. She looked up and tried to get up but fell down again weakly, "Oh come on... if that dragon ever shows up in front of me.. I will seriously... ow!" She moaned as she managed to stand up again and blinked,m noticing the train was stopped, most oft he passengers were kocked out, others dead. She blinked and sighed, I'm alone on a stopped train when Zonan and his gang are on the loose! Really, no one ever made the effort to at least try and stay with me!?  She slowly and weakly walked to the door of the train and looked out, noticing a very large canyon. "Oh wow.." she whispered.
He was happy that Jewel was still alive. He turned around to see Lilya who had just exited the train along with Hokey. Deonday quickly ran over to them ignoring the fact there was a bullet wound through his head. "Thank goodness your safe, um... I don't know how to say this but.... Grendile was killed." Deonday had sounded very upset as he spoke. "It's my fault, I should have stopped him. It's my fault he's dead." Deonday showed Lilya Grendile's swords. "This is all that's left of him, this, and his journals." Grendile hated being trapped, he was at least beginning to calm down. "Why can't you hear me!?" Grendile began pacing a little angry. "I need to find a way to contact them, but how?"
Lilya blinked, "he.... died? I..." She was overwhelemd and jumped when she say the dead body of Zonana, "How... how queer, Jewels actually did it." She looked around confused, her head throbbing from her headache, she felt like Hokey after he decides to punish himself. Then she noticed a drop of blood on Deonday's face and looked at his head, her vision slightly blurry, and she noticed... a gun shot wound. "You got shot! You shot you? 'Cause I'm in the mood for a good fight..." She flexed her fingers and pulled out her gun, who only beared a few scratches even though it went through a lot to get to this canyon.
Sorian finally gave up on trying to move the rocks that were covering Jewels. Someone else would have to help her. Sorian walked a ways down the canyon and the suddenly cocked her head. She heard more human voices~ slightly familar ones too. She walked farther down the canyon, trying to find some shade to hide from the burning sun. Suddenly something jumped out at her and hissed. A snake! Sorian screeched at it  and went running, the opposite way. She kept running, though it was a bit difficult for a creature meant for flying... She crashed into Lilya and they both fell to the ground.
"The same person who tried to kill him before, Grasha." Deonday looked at Grasha who had already feinted because of blood loss. Feralie was protecting Grasha. "I'm fine, the bullet wasn't able to get through my thick skull, as that one kid said who through a rock at me." Deonday looked back at Grendile's sword, a tear falling on them. Grendile sighed with adgictation, "Now your crying on me?!" Grendile was able to feel anything that happened to his sword. And right now he was wet and stiff. "If you were able to hear me Deonday I'd be saying some pretty cruel things!" Grendile looked at Hokey and Lilya who seemed to make it out safe. "And if you two could hear me I'd be asking you to make Deonday suck up his tears and cut it out!" Grendile was very frusterated that no one could hear him. He felt now very alone.
Lilya sighed, "Now that Grendile's gone... what will we do?" Hokey gave the swords a preculiar stare, "Hmm.... that sword seems strange. It glows with an energy all it's own..." Lilya stared at hokey, "This isn't the time to-" She grunted as an owl bashed into her. "Ah!" She screamed at the sight of a humonoid owl and almost scrambled away, but she had to give the owl a long stare, "What's wrong with you, owl? You look human?" The owl suddenly spoke, "Well duh genius!" Lilya jumped and narrowed her eyes at the owl. "What do you want, owl? I had enough of creature-humans."
He gave Hokey a small smile, he was glad that he understood something wasn't right. "If Hokey could hear me I'd be praising him right about now. He is a very good elf." Grendile sighed at Deonday who had finally stopped crying. "Deonday I wish I could beat your head of yours!" Deonday looked as the swords went from blue to red, then blue again. What no one knew was that the color of the swords changed with Grendile's mood. "Your a very good elf Hokey, and right about now I feel like throwing a rock myself at Deonday's head. What would make Hokey an even better elf is if he would hit Deonday's thick skull a few times around." Grendile watched as Deonday helped Lilya back to her feet. "He's not the smartest, but at least he has a heart." Deonday looked as Grendile's swords glowed green for the moment.
Sorian stared back at Lilya. " I would like to know what you strange humans are doing. You all keep killing eachother and dying and whatnot." She then looked at the pulsating, glowing sword that she was holding. Sorian was curious. There was something odd about it, different than the other weapons she had seen before. "You gonna tell me your name or what, Owl?" Lilya said rudely. Sorian took a step backward, and then said "My name is Sorian.... Do you happen to have any food around here? I am quite hungry after such a long flight." She then stared at the sword again, her deep black eyes penetrating it. She suddenly got an idea of what was going on with it, but didn't tell anyone.

Lilya scoffed, "You're an owl, go hunt." She looked away from Sorian coldly and looked at Deonday as thanks for helping her up.

Hokey looked att he sword and jumped when it started to pulse colors. He poked it and felt an overwhleming feeling to throw a rocj at Deonday's head, and he did, with a snicker and a slap on his head from Lilya, "Hokey! Stop it, he's injured you know!" She scolded sharply, the headache making her more evil than usual.

Jason moaned and opened his eyes, buried under a few rocks he pushed one up and noticed he was in a canyon, "A canyon... Jewels!" He shouted as soon as he saw the train engience that was smashed by a boulder.

"Oww, Hokey what was that for?" Deonday looked a little confused at Hokey. Grendile smiled at Hokey. "Now that's a good elf Hokey. If only Deonday would understand that I'm right in front of him!" Grendile sighed still keeping a look on Hokey. "Good job Hokey, hopefully now he'll stop acting like I'm dead." Grendile stood with a look of confusion. "Now how do I get the others to realize that I'm trapped in my own swords? This is going to be a bit confusing." Deonday watched as the sword turned from red to green, then to purple. "Something's weird with Grendile's swords, they don't usually glow at all, it's even stranger that they change colors."

Lilya looked at one of the swords, "Uh.. magic? It's everywhere as you know.  Heck, it's practically falling from the sky, that Grasha and her dragon might've done something to them with magic? I don't put it against a dragon to do that." She scoffed, A dragon with horrible grammer as I must say, and she is just too bipolar on her thoughts of death. She looked at Deonday, "Well?"

Hokey poked it again and shuddered as Grendile sent him another emssage through his brain, Maybe I should tell master about Grendile being inside his swords? But how can we get him out!

"Your probably right Lilya, it's probably nothing to be worried about." Deonday sighed putting the swords in the ground. Grendile was furious at Deonday now. Basically sticking Grendile's swords in the dirt was the same as digging up half of Grendile's body. "Deonday you idiot!!" Grendile could only move the upper half of his body trapped in the sword. "This is terrible, I cant imagine how genies can stay in such small lamps for so long when I can't stand five seconds trapped in this sword. Grendile looked at Hokey who was probably the only one who noticed something was wrong. "At least Hokey understands me, unlike the nitwit here who thinks he can use me like a child's toy!"

Lilya nodded, "Yeah it's just a light, lights don't really  change the world with dangerous things and stuff." Hokey looked restless as he tugged on Lilya's cloak tryingt o get her attention. "Master... Master!" But Lilya ignored him as she talked with Deonday. ugh1 Stupid love, it messes up your house elves! Hokey thought angerily as he continued to tug at her cloaks. "Matserrrr!!!" She continued to ignore Hokey, preoccupied with Deonday. Oh man, I just got rejected by my own master... Hokey thought to himself sadly.

Farren shook her pelt as she crawled out of rubble, growling and helping her master out.

Grendile looked disappointed at Lilya now, also a bit angry. "At least you tried Hokey, your still a good elf for trying. I bet Deonday here is not thinking of getting me out of the ground anytime soon! Of all the times I've saved his life, and helped him, he decides to stick me in the dirt." Grendile looked around, no one but Hokey could recognize him. He now started to feel a bit lonely, he didn't like feeling all alone. He became a little bit upset that nobody but Hokey noticed where he was. The sword turned from glowing red and began to glow grey. Grendile looked at Deonday who was completely unaware that he was trapped in the sword. "Thanks for trying Hokey, maybe you can try again later." Deonday looked at Lilya feeling a bit idiotic for saying that the sword was acting strange. "What are we going to do without Grendile, he knows far more than I do. Without him it's hopeless." Grendile looked gloomily up to Deonday. "If only you weren't so stupid you'd know where I am."

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.
