Sage felt a slight tug on the boat and it began to rise. She looked down and the oceon was now getting further. The yelling had been louder and when Sage looked on the right side, her face met with Esmereldas. Sage was frightened and grabbed onto the sailer, wrapping her arms around him. She felt his shirt warmthen her face, while her skin was cold and white.  She began to tug harder on the sailor as men began to take her by the waist and pull her.  She would not shed a mere tear for then the pirates would be closer to getting to the fountain of youth. But she did cry inside. HELP! Sage held onto the boy tightly, for she did not want to be thrown in see and whipped up by the sea monsters.

Carlos thought fast. When they were close enough to deck, he spotted his knife right next to the edge. He grabbed it, and cut the ropes that they used to hoist the dingy up. The dingy fell into the water with a large splash. Esmerelda glared at Carlos, but Carlos just smirked. There were two oars at the bottom of the dingy. He grabbed them, and started rowing as fast as he could away from the ship. He looked at the mermaid for a second, then looked down to hide his blushing face. He rowed and rowed until he could no more.

Now, Durring all of this, Tamber was having a nice little nap, she woke up when she heard the singing of mermaids, and the splash of a Dingy hitting the water, she awoke, grabbed her sword, and ran out to see what the heck was going on! As she exited the cabin, she saw her crew mates, Esmerelda, and lots of mermaids. She waltzed over with a determind look in her eye, and saw a small boy, sitting in a dingy not far from the boat. While Esmerelda and the others were busy, she sliped into the water and out of sight. Quicky, she swam over to him. Although she hated mermaid form, and would much rather be up there with ms. Esmerelda, It always happend when she went into the water, she popped up beside the dingy and said,

"Just were do you think your going?"

Sage was finally safe now, again with the boy. They were rolling among the waves but had stopped for a break, when a mermaid swam up to us. The mermaid asked a question. Sage had been getting irritated. She just wanted to land off somewhere close to land, before a storm arrived at night. The real question is: Where are you going? Sage looked at the mermaid and then back to the ship that was just a large dot now, near the horizon. Did you come from there? Sage said as she pointed to the ship.

Maybe, Maybe not. Tamber had never meet a mermaid that acctually held a conversaision with her. Or anyone. Ever. Her tail swished in the waves, the blue and purple scales shimmering. She looked back at the ship and said "I will tell you only if you can keep a promise." She dived down, then came back up with a shell in her hand. "BTW, One of your mermaid friends dropped this, I have no idea what it is." Then, there was a very, very long pause of silents. Tamber didn't know what to say, so she just held out her hand and said, "Keep a promise."

Sage looked confused and glared all around her. She picked up the shell and placed it on her lap. She ran her fingers over it cautiously and turned it every which way possible. Until she had touched merely every millimeter of it. She then looked up and looked at the mermaid's eyes. I promise. And mermaids never break promises. Sage tilted her head and looked at the young boy. He must know nothing. Sage then bye to the young sailor and gave him a whistle. If you ever need my help just blow into this. It sings my song. Sage then leaped off the boat and went well underwater with the sea-shell in her hand. Her hair was still red and visible by any human on the surface of the water.

Esmerelda glared at the men. "You let them get away!" They looked ashamed and walked away from where the mermaid was. "Now! Get to work! We need that boy!" She continued yelling orders, and the men were franticly running around to get everything done. The ship spen toward Carlos' dingy. The dot on the horizon became larger and larger. The ship pulled close toward the dingy, and was brought is via grappel hook. The dingy was hoised up out of the water, and the boy was flung onto the deck of the ship. Esmerelda stood over him. "Just what got into you boy?!" The boy clutched is stomach as if it were hurt. He lifted his and, and a small patch of blood could be seen. Esmerelda looked at it, and decided the mermaid had tried to kill him.

A large storm over the Caribbean is brewing. The shy is turning black, and its beginning to rain....

Luckly, TAmber avoid the eyes of her captin and crew mates, she swam under the ship and then jumped back into her window. She dried off and changed, then went out to meet esmerelda. "Who is that kid?" She looked at her captin esmerelda, looking a little worried. The boy pointed at her. Uh oh, he reconized me! She Asked "Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked stupidly, trying to throw him off her tail. "Esmerelda, May I speak to this boy alone please?" She nodded, and Tamber pulled the boy away. "If you tell ANY ONE that I am a mermaid, I will seriously feed you to the sharks! So please don't tell!"

Looking up at the sky, Aspire gazed as rain drops began to drop on his face as he cracked a clam open in his mouth and began eating the flesh inside. Once swallowed he spun round and dived into the water a wave crashed down upon him, sending him flipping through the sea as he rode the wave.

Swimming down to the sea bed, he stripped a long peice of hard coral and began to sharpen it with the shell of the clam he had been eating to a fine point and then aimed at a Snapper within a small cave and flung it forward, striking it in the chest, pulling the coral back he stripped the Snapper off of it and tossed the spear to the bottom and began to eat the fish.

Once the fish had been consumed, Aspire wiped a couple of scales from his mouth as his fangs re-aranged and became hidden once more inside his mouth.

Then looking up at the rough swells he noticed movement, another merman or mermaid. He guessed it was a mermaid because of both hair colour and length and began swimming towards her.

Sage did not swim to shore. She instead followed the ship and kept staring at the boy. He was holding up his shirt and showing blood on his stomach. ' Did I do that to him? Had I held on to him so tightly, I scarred him? ' Sage thought to herself, now slowly moving. She managed to be on the side of the ship now, she started singing as the rain began to fall. She sang her song, wondering if the boy would blow his whistle. Sage stared up at the girl talking to him. She hissed. I told you not to tell him! Sage used her special talk. She talked with her mind, and the other person could hear it and respond with the same thing. Although it only worked for mermaids.

The sky became darker and darker. The rain was now pouring, and Esmerelda was getting worried. She went into the captain's cabin, and took out some maps. She found one that she had never noticed before. She opened it carefully, and saw that it lead to the fountain of youth! She gasped, and hid it in her coat. The boat began to rock, and a ghostly creeking could be heard throughout the ship. Esmerelda regained her balance, but the boat was struck by something, and she fell again. She went to the upper deck, and saw her crew also falling all over the place. The waves were at least fifteen feet high, and the sky crackled with lightning. "Hoist the sails!" Esmerelda managed to yell a command, though she could barely breath with the wind. She saw the men trying to run against the wind, but it was no use. The boy seamed to be helping, but was being blown everywhere. In the distance, there seemed to be a small wave. But it grew larger, and larger. It was soon thirty feet tall and coming toward the ship. The wave hit the ship, and everyone went flying. The ship almost flew. When the wave passed, everone was accounted for, except Esmerelda. 

Sage saw the women fall from the boat and into the water. Sage swam quickly up to the women. Now, what do we have here? You threatened me..I have to go by the prophecy!  Sage took the women by her arms and took a nasty bit out of her, poisoning her arm, her veins would now flow with purple poison. Sage tossed her back into the water and hoped she would drown. Then Sage swam below her and noticed a merman following her. She swam up to him and looked at him while turning all around him, letting her tail brush up against his.

Aspire smiled at the mermaid and looked around at the buffet, studying both the humans and the mermaid, his eyes had the effect of slightly glowing in the murky water as it crashed over. Wave after waver, after wave. He spun around quickly grabbed a young boy, looking over his body, he noticed he had been struck by one of his kind once before and decided to finish the poor boys life and send him to Davy Jones' Locker and extended his fangs and bit the boy in the shoulder, upon impact the boy opened his mouth in pain as if screaming, but the water filled his mouth and drowned out the voice and the boy became limp and fell from Aspire's arms in which he regained his attention to the mermaid swimming around him and smiled. Well hello there.

Sage stopped and took a clam from the boys seaweed belt. She flung it through thick water and it hit a great white shark. She swam quickly and picked up the clam and swam to the shark that now layed in the sand on the bottom of the oceon. She cut the prey open from the belly and started to rip at the flesh. Grabbing a bit of meat and tossing it in her mouth. Dinner? My name is Sage, yours? Sage pointed to the shark and gestured the merman to come over, eat, and retrieve his clam. Have you given anyone your song whistle yet? Sage asked looking up at the ship just above the waves. She remembered the boy who she had given her last whistle to.
