Sarand
This is the country where all of the characters or actions start and take place in. It is roughly but smaller than the size of Canada with eight provinces. Provinces are owned by lords, cities owned by Mayors, and Sarand technically owned by the Government. You can pick a province to start or your wolf may not know its location. If so or not, this is what some of the locations are like anyways.
South Gull Territories:
Location: South Coast
Scenery: Rocky cliffs, scrub grass
Cities: 22
Lord: Lord Ukenov Drayinwyre
Ugansol:
Location: Between Headston and Shireston
Scenery: Oak trees, small warm valley
Cities: 15
Lord: Unknown
ÂÂ
Pinerwoll:
Location: East of Ugansol and North to Snowcoldrock
Scenery: Large Tiga of coniferous trees- large boreal woods
Cities: 30
Lord: Unknown
ÂÂ
Shireston:
Location: Directly West of Snowcoldrock; South of Ugansol
Scenery: Misty green moors, black maple forests, Icy Mountains of Snowcoldrock towering above with huge waterfalls
Cities: 56; Gollind being the capital city of the Government
Lord: Lady Karen Voak and Lord Yergamen Voak
ÂÂ
Snowcoldrock:
Location: North shore of Sarand; East of Shireston and South of Pinerwoll
Scenery: Subzero cold tundra, Icy Mountains frosted with snow and frozen wateralls. Incredibly cold.
Cities: 13
Lord: Lord Boralis Rigarous
ÂÂ
Headston:
Location: North to Ugansol, then Shireston; South to Onnagin, then the rival South Gull Territories
Scenery: Various deciduous trees; bordering foothills of Ugansol. Surprisingly warm with large streams. Lovely maple tree colours in autumn.
Cities: 28
Lord: Lady Irabelle Rosengood
ÂÂ
Kinashertou:
Location: East to large area of Snowcoldrock; foothills are mild and warmer. Takes up whole West Coast with East Gull Territories streaming along the rest.
Scenery: Huge, steaming rainforests; vibrant wildlife and flora, cool waterfalls and streams from Snowcoldrock. Warm ocean with large (if rocky) beaches- best vacation destination.
Cities: 45
Lord: Unknown
ÂÂ
Onnagin:
Location: Between rival provinces of South Gull Territories and Headston. Bordered by Pinnerwoll.
Scenery: Very small but pleasant. Native folk are recluses and dislike travelers there strongly. Warmer rock pools from oceans of South Gull with soft green oaks grown from Headston.
Cities: 10
Lord: Unknown
ÂÂ
The Unknown:
Beyond all the provinces is the deadly Unknown, inhabited by deadly creatures and terrifying folk. Takes up entire East coast, and the few that come out of there alive are almost always driven half-mad. There is rumoured to be a volcano there, nicknamed the 'Heart' for its heart-shaped top, leading into deadly boiling lava....One of the less insane travelers once mention a field of beautiful flowers there, ones so bright and pure that even the strongest dark magic could never corrupt them...Could they be...The moon flowers???
This is the sequel to the previous roleplay, Wolf's Rain. However, this time there is more to the story.
The world used to be a terrible place. Then, a pack of wolves rose up to drive away the evil that was destroying the land. But the world is vast. Too vast for just one pack to travel across. You see the terrible dangers of the lands each day. You notice corruption in everyone and everything.
But why can no one else see it?
It is time to make a stand. Wolves and humans alike are gathering in the lands, and nothing can stop them. A rebellion unlike anything else before is coming.
There will be war. There will be blood. There will be an uprising.
And you must survive.
Wolves:
Wolves have adapted a shapeshifting ability to let them turn into humans and wolves. This is also in a way and illusion, but a physical one. Wolves use this to survive, as the humans are terrified of wolves and feel a deep hatred for them. If they were to show their true selves in a city, they would be hunted down and eventually killed. If they are captured, wolves will be forced to endure awful tests in a lab.
Your journey is to join a pack and look for the legendary Moon Flower that is rumoured to give purness back to the world if it is given to the heart of the earth. Tale tells that it will cleanse the earth and give it back to its rightful owners in the ancient world; the wolves.
However, where the Moon Flower is and how to give it to the Earth's Heart is unknown to any wolf. And with all the dangers and trials on the way, your task seem daunting and perilous.
You can travel alone, in a small or large pack, or with a partner. Most packs have a human to help guide them away from dangers that only humans would know.
Humans:
Depending on who and where you are in society, you may or may not be a friend of the wolves.
Changling
You are human, but may have grown up with wolves. People curse at the sight of you.
You have two directions to go: Try and find any wolf pack and learn how to survive with them and help find the Moon Flower, or continue trying live as a human. If you pick the last option, you have the choice to move to a better city or do something to prove yourself and get a higher ranking in life.
Criminal
You live a life of crime, stealing for money or killing for a job. You better stay out of sight, or the government may find you from their Wanted list.
ÂÂ
If you choose to continue dealing and causing crime, you may see wolves here and there, but they most likely won't attack you. Eventually, you won't see any wolves anymore and a life of crime will be easier than ever with all the chaos going around. If you decide to travel with wolves, you may go with a pack, or, more likely, a partner that is a wolf to mutually help each other. (This could be finding the Moon Flower or just getting into more trouble)
Citizen
You're just a normal person in society, simple as that. The chaos is slowly spreading over even your town, though, and so your life is thrown into disarray.
If you run away, you could get lucky and find a wolf pack before the government tracked you down. If you stay in your city, you could easily be killed or attempt to become a part of the criminals so that you're shooting instead of being shot.
Hunter
Hunters are hired by the government to kill wolves. They are heartless and cruel, and dangerously armed with many weapons and have technology to be able to peer through a wolf's disguise.
Hunters are the first humans to notice that wolves are beggining to leave, and they are one of the first to go after them. There is no option for a Hunter to befriend a wolf; they know how dangerous they can be and their only job is to kill them.
Noble
Nobles are rather individual lords of the land or mayors, or an agent of the governement.
Lords and Mayors have a dislike of wolves, though not hatred.
You do not want to get on a lord's bad side. However, you can choose to help or hurt wolves, hunters or citizens; your power lets you interact with anything, good or bad.
Government Agents
Government agents may sometimes be there as an inside job to help the wolves.
The good ones will stop hunters and Lords from making descisions that could hurt the wolves.
Others will kill traitors and train many groups of Hunters to kill all the wolves. Their main purpose is to make the species extinct and they are heartless and cruel.
The world was once a good place, ruled by fair and strong wolves. Then one day, the apes began to learn and grow clever; eventurally they became know as cruel and evil men; they gathered their armies and took the wolves by surprise, eventually gaining victory over them. After thousands of years while men hunted down their enemies and almost killed the wolves, their corruption hurt the earth. It is said that she punished man, breaking their homeland into pieces until the few left alive were abandoned on a new, untouched land.
It is said that the moon felt the pain of the earth below him, so he sent her a gift that would one day set things back to the way they were. Moon created a flower in the Earth's image, sending to the cradle of her bosum, where it would stay safe until the time had come when the world would be set back to the way it was and given to its rightful owners.
Okay... Look at my other RP rules- It's the same as usual.
The max amount of characters you can create is 6 and you can't control another person's character if they don't want you to.
You can travel all over the country, but no going beyond it or making up fake locations unless I say you can.
Please state where you begin in your first post (ie: Shelilla looked up to see the same misty black sky of Headston.)
You can give cities in the province you are in your own names if you want, but nothing silly please.
You cannot rename the provinces I have already created, unless it is something like 'Headston, AKA The rose province of War'
You can create any extra character that your character is interacting with, but make sure that the character makes sense and that they aren't a main character.
If you join a pack, then it must be with other players, and there cannot be an extra character in the pack that isn't monitered by another user, or else it may lead to control problems.
No swearing, unless censored. (But you can say damn or stupid/etc.)
Provinces that has no listed lord (ie: Unknown) Means that the postition for lord of that region is available and if you decide to apply to lead that province and are accepted, you can then do whatever you want with the actions going on in that province and your character's name will them be listed as lord of that land. Mayors can name the town they lead and only have to tell which province they are applying to lead a country in.
Wolves in this Roleplay are much more superpowered than wolves we know. Also, they are slightly bigger than normal wolves.
As humans and canines, wolves may have more powerful, strength, speed and endurance. Therefore, it is not against the rules to state in your post if your character is a wolf:
'Casey leapt off the ground with all her might, jumping straight up to the roof of the building. She switched to her human form and grabbed the edge, whipping herself onto the top running.'
Another notice to all Roleplayers interested in creating a wolf character:
To have more secure and easier guidlines while adding in details about your character's age, Sky has made a wonderful template about which age your wolf is compared to your human. Please take a look at this before creating your charrie. :)
Stage Wolf Age Human Age
Vulnerable Pup/Toddler 0-2 weeks 0-3 years
Dependent Pup/Child 3-8 weeks 4-6 years
Independent Pup/Child 9 weeks-11 months 7-12 years
Yearling/Adolescent 1 year 13-17 years
Adult 2 years+ 18 years+
Notes:
Vulnerable Pup/Child: Cannot survive on their own without help from another wolf or a human.
Dependent Pup/Child: Needs to be cared for by another wolf or human or else it will die.
Independent Pup/Child: Can move around on their own, wolf pups already know (or are learning) how to hunt small prey animals and children do not have to be watched 24/7.
Yearling/Adolescent: Able to function on their own and are learning how to fend for themselves. They are also learning how to make rational decisions.
Adult: Completely independent and able to make rational decisions on their own without consulting anyone; they have the skills and knowledge to get them through life.
Have fun! The first Wolf's Rain was a good roleplay, but unfortunately now it is too big for new characters to join and a lot of users are inactive now. So we would love to continue the very fun journey of the last story and share it with you, too!
Thank you!
