Aerodacyl's eyes widenened, and the shadow ball hit.

"No Aerodactyl! Alright use thunder fang!"

Aerodactyl flew above silver and swooped down, biting Silver's back, and the shock paralyzed the Mightyena.

"Yes!" John said, happy that he had paralyzed the opposing pokemon. She had trained her pokemon well, and this was only the first one, he was worried about her other pokemon and how strong they would be, but now he has an advantage with Silver being paralyzed, he taught Aerodactyl this so he could defeat water types that would do good on Aerodactyl otherwise. John couldn't afford to loose his first gym battle. This ment so much to him.

Rowan growled. This was really bad. If she did not get out of this, then she could be in deep crap. 

"Alright.. come on Silver! Use bite!"

Silver struggled, but it was no use. The mightyena was paralyzed, and there was hust no way that he was going to be able to attack. The enemy areodactyl was powerfull, and if the paralysis did not wear off soon then he was going to end up incapacitated. 

Loyal as ever, Silver managed to muster a bit of energy and jumped forward weakly. Unfortunatly, he came nowhere near close enough to hit. He fell forward weakly.

Escra's Duskull then followed him after he gathered some of the Oran Berry's that he found earlyer. He was healing up his Duskull from a earlyer fight before he was sitting and playing in the feild with it. When he walked our of the feiled however he headed twords Veilstone City, prepareing himself to see if he and his Duskull can defeat the gym leader. As they entered the City his duskull seemed to hide behind him, keeping close to him as it watched and looked about at everyone and everything as they passed by. Escra still seemed rather proud of his Duskull, seeing him as a companion then anything else as they continued together twords the gym.

John smirked. "Alright aerodactyl let's finish it off! Use rock tomb!"

Rocks surrounded the enemy Mightyena and a huge rock fell on top of it. John watched and waited, wondering if Silver had fainted yet, but he knew the other pokemon would be much harder than this.

Aerodactyl groaned, waiting to see if it had fainted, luckily aerodactyl had been trained a lot. If Rowan sent out her next pokemon John was ready to mega evolve Aerodactyl, in fact he was about to mega evolve him wheter Silver had fainted or not. For Aerodactyl was even stronger in his mega form.

(By the way is you houndoom holding a mega stone? He can mega evolve too)

(He does not have a mega stone because I hate the design of houndoom's mega evolution.)

Rowan sighed and returned Silver to the pokeball. It was rare on any occasion for her pokemon to be in a pokeball, but when the larger ones fainted she had no other way to carry them. SIlver at least would go in when hurt- Shadow point blank refused to go in the pokeball at all.

Rowan bowed her head a littl and returned the pokeball to her pocket, knowing that she was going to get it mixed up with the other ones later. Oh well. 

"Right then... Raven."

On cue, the shiny umbreon leapt out from the shadows behind her, announcing his enterance with a quiet "Breeeeon."

"Do it."

Raven quickly began to form a dark urple ball of energy around him, shooting it twords areodactyl. The attack did subsantial damage when it hit.

It was his signature move after all. Payback.

Aerodactyl was badly hurt. "Alright that's it!" John shouted. He then put his hand on the mega ring on his wrist and mega evolved Aerodactyl. "We may only be able to ake a few more hits, but we can land some good hits before that happens! Use supersonic!" Aerodactyl obeyed, the sound waves confused the enemy umbreon. "Ha take that!" John shouted. He was hoping that he could land at least one more attack move. But if he couldn't, at least he had confused the umbreon. These status moves helped him more than he thought they would. With umbreon confused he could probably lnd a few more hits if it attacked itself.

Sola walked into another side room to the gym. This was their training room, and Sola put it to good use when she wasn't being challenged. Her three ghost pokemon followed obediantly, awaiting comand.

"Alright, Dementia," She said to the haunter. Dementia was the weakest of the three gym pokemon, but was still strong. Sola hoped she would one day evolve, but she let the haunter grow at its own pace. "We need to work on your aim when it comes to speedy opponents. Dream!"

On cue, a galvantula sprang from its place in a luxury ball. The pokemon was differently colored, shiny, and it looked at Sola with admiration. "Do you care to help us out today?"

In response, the galvantula let out a jolt of electricity and sprang to the other end of the field. "Gal!"

Dementia took her place at the end close to Sola. "Alright, Dementia, your goal is to hit Dream with a hypnosis. Dream, your goal is to aviod said attacks. I will not be comanding you. As my partners, you must learn to take control and do things other than what I tell you. Your perspective in battle is different from mine, and you may know an alternate and better solution than I do. Now, begin!"

Rowan growled. Confusion, huh?

Well, Raven was not a strong attacker in the first place, but he generally used high power moves. THis could get nasty. 

"Alright... try payback!"

Rowan had a few reasons for usuing payback. The first was that Raven used it often.  She hoped that because the move was familiar to Raven, it would be easy for him to use, even though he was confused. The other reason was that payback was twice as powerful AFTER the pokemon using it had been attacked, and Raven had.

Raven began forming the purple energy, eventhough he was wobbling a bit. He managed to shoot it off, but he did not get a dead hit. The attack still hurt the enemy a little, and that was enough.

Kin was riding Blaze with a bag full of rare mushrooms and other foodstuffs. The salemence had only been taught to fly to a few locations and give Kin air lifts from a clear point a to point b. She had to train Drake better but Blaze was the more reliable means of transport. A few hours of grazing and grooming to fuel up and maintain instead of possibly days of stalking prey and picking teeth, Blaze was harder to damage than a bike, no mechanical bits or anything like that. Honestly Blaze was easy to work with and could go more places than a bike. Psyche was sitting on the equine's back with Kin eyes glowing. Then the espeon tapped with a paw and Kin reigned in Blaze. The espeon jumped off and found a firestone after a little digging. Kin collected it and they were on the move again. Foresight came in handy. She was making a killing with the espeon on her team.

Clarence slid down the hill and remained on his feet. A motorcycle sped down the hill toward him. Clarence ran on, shielding the treasure in his arms. He looked back as he ran, seeing the motorcycle getting closer. "Give it back!" yelled the Pokemon Poacher. "Over my dead body!" shouted Clarence. The poacher scowled and sped up. Clarence made a left turn, avoiding the poacher's grasp. The poacher slid to a halt and continued to chase after Clarence. Clarence ran on, noticing he was coming up on a cliff. "Ha, ha, nowhere to run now, kid!" exclaimed the poacher. "That's what he thinks," said Clarence. He sped up, making a full charge toward the cliff edge. The poacher saw he wasn't slowing down. "Are you crazy in the head?"asked the poacher, beginning to slow down his motorcycle. "Nope!" shouted Clarence, shockingly leaping over the edge. The poacher came to a complete stop. "What in the world?" he said. A deafening roar quickly pierced the win. The poacher climbed off his motorcycle and hurried up to the edge. He was suddenly hit with a gush of wind as a large winged Pokemon flew up from below. The poacher fell back with a gasp. The Pokemon before him was a large Charizard, but by the coloration, the poacher knew that it was a rare shiny Charizard. A Charizardite X mega stone was positioned in a collar around the shiny Charizard's neck. The rare Charizard was large and powerful looking. The poacher then saw Clarence on the Pokemon's back. A key stone was about Clarence's right wrist. His left arm, however, still shielded the certain treasure the poacher was after. "No, you can't be.....Clarence, can you?" asked the poacher. "I am, and your days of poaching are up!"shouted Clarence. His shiny Charizard growled in agreement. "We'll see about that," said the poacher, leaping to his feet and retrieving a net gun. "Don't think so, Titan, bring on the pain and use Dragon Tail!" exclaimed Clarence, throwing a Poke Ball into the air. Out popped his mighty Tyrantrum he had since Titan was a Tyrunt in the Kalos region. "Rantrum!" bellowed the Rock/Dragon type, his thick tail glowing a neon sea grewn color. Titan charged at the now hollering poacher, slamming his tail into the ground before him. The poacher flew into his motorcycle and fainted with a grunt. Charley landed and Clarence front flipped off his back. He landed and said, "Good job, Titan." Clarence rubbed the Tyrantrum's leg. "Ty," said the Pokemon. Clarence then revealed the hidden treasure under his left arm, with Charley and Titan taking a peek. It was none other than an egg, and by the looks of it, it was a Litleo egg.

Kin heard a ruckus and a motercycle but Psyche looked at her and shook her head. Best to not get involved. Just in case Kin slowed and called out her lucario Warrior. "My lady? Is there trouble?" "Possibly." Blaze whickered and his ears swiveled to the sounds and he got a little nervous making to avoid it. Kin let him but when the equnine made to go faster Kin reigned him in and Warrior started walking faster. Kin kept the reigns firm but let Blaze get as far from the situation as he wanted. When that rapidash did get nervous it was for good reason. Large carnivore pokemon were in the area. That was the one thing that made him nervous. He was conditioned to handle Drake even found security in the Salemence's presance. In fact now that she thought about it... "Warrior do you mind if I get Drake out? It'll calm Blaze down." "I take no offense to that. Thank you for asking first." Kin got Drake out of his pokeball and Blaze calmed down. They went along in peace covering a good distance in one day.

Clarence tucked the egg away in his backpack that had the colors of Charizard X. He then withdrew Titan's Poke Ball and said, "Thanks for your help, Titan, return." The Tyrantrum went back inside the Poke Ball. Another motorcycle could be heard just a quarter of a mile away. "That's either his backup or Officer Jenny, either way we have to go," said Clarence. Charley grunted in agreement. Clarence hopped onto the shiny Charizard's back. "Let's fly," said Clarence. Charley spread his large wings and leaped high, flying into the air with a roar. His roar carried for miles, spooking flocks of Starly and Pidgey. "Let's head to my villa and then head on over to Naga's gym," said Clarence. Charley grunted and flew off. About thirty minutes later, they arrived before a large white villa. Charley landed in the large backyard, with Clarence leaping down from his back. The two headed into the villa, with the opening being big enough for Charley to walk through. Clarence halted before his kitchen table, took off his backpack, unzipped it, and took out the egg. "Got to keep you safe, especially from Zane," said Clarence. Zane was the leader of the band of Pokemon Poachers in Sinnoh, and Clarence was there to stop him at any cost. He was also there to challenge the new Gym Leaders. Clarence was only fourteen when battled the before Gym Leaders and Champion. He still kept in touch with Gardenia, since he had a small crush on her, just like he did with Misty, Clair, Flannery, and Elesa. Clarence wanted to see if the new gyms had class and power to withstand his might, being that he was a strong trainer himself. Clarence tucked the egg in one of those self-made incubators, tucked it back in his backpack, and ate some lunch with the rest of his Pokemon out in the back. Frederick the Feraligatr, Lex the shiny Luxray, Chase the Chesnaught, and Zeek the Zoroark joined Charley and Titan in eating. Clarence had other Pokemon, but they were back in the Kanto region, especially his Sinnoh Pokemon. All of his fourth generation Pokemon were there, except for Lex. After lunch, Clarence cleaned up and returned his Pokemon to their Poke Ball. Charley, however, wasn't recalled. It wasn't that he didn't like being in his Poke Ball, it was just that he was Clarence's transportation, quick getaway and bodyguard. "All right, let's get to that gym," said Clarence, getting on Charley's back. Charley roared and flew into the air. The two arrived in front of Naga's gym ten minutes later. "Let's challenge Naga, Charley," said Clarence. Charley nodded and the two entered the gym. "Naga!" shouted Clarence. "I'm here to challenge you!" he exclaimed, raising a Poke Ball in the air.

"Haunt!" Said Demtia, a purplish-pink series of rings shooting towards Dream. The galvantula jumped, dodging, and used double team in mid air. Dementia tried again and again to hit Dream, but Dream was to crafty. The spider pokemon climbed walls, swung from string shots, and hid behind rocks.

Sola watched silently. No, she did not train her pokemon cruely, as some people thought this was. At any time, her pokemon were allowed to stop or refuse to participate. The two pokemon took joy from challenges, just like their trainer. They danced and moved, temting, dodging, and well... missing.

Dementia grew frustrated. She was angry at Dream for being so good at dodging. A shadowy purple ball formed in Dementia's hands. She fired the shadow ball into the lights, plunging the room into darkness.

Interesting...

Naga was rubbing marker off of Spark's nose when he heard the echo of a challengers voice "Well that's amazing, now you have to battle with marker on your nose Sparky" he muttered grabbing jacket and slipping his arms into the sleeves, drawing his fingers through his hair Naga noticed Nacalis glaring at him "Come on buddy I'll battle with you later" he rolled his eyes before lying on the back of the couch . Naga sent Spark back into her pokeball before grabbing his other pokeballs, he walked out smiling "Welcome challenger, shall we battle." The said gesturing towards the battlefield 

Just to make things simple, this takes plase in Sinnoh, but you can own pokemon from any generation.

This takes place about 15 years after the anime. Ash is the pokemon master. All the gym leaders and elite four are different.

Old friends, new friends. POkemon are there forever.

Will YOU be the one to become the next pokemon master?

In sinnoh, the old elite four have long retired and been replaced by gym leaders. Now all the gyms are different too.

Some have already started their journey. Some have finished it.

And some... are about to begin.

There can be THREE people just starting. 

EIGHT gym leaders.

UNLIMITED people who have already started.

 

PEOPLE STARTING:

Choose a starter. If it is already yaken, you can't have it. Starters are CHIMCHAR, TURTWIG, and PIPLUP.

You MAY NOT use another random pokemon as a starter.

GYM LEADERS:

You may only use pokemon of the type you do in gym battles, but you can own other types. 

No two gym leaders can be of the same type or in the same city.

You don't have to stay in your gym the whole time of you don't want to.

Please come up with a gym challange maze thing or something that trainers must complete before battling you.

Gym leaders choose the outcome of gym battles, but please be fair.

ALREADY STARTED:

You can have any pokemon EXCEPT Sinnoh starters. Other starters are fine.

You DO have to complete the gym challanges to get badges. Even if you already started your journey.

GENERAL RULES:

You may not own ANY legendary pokemon. If you want to encounter one, that is fine, but you may not battle it or use it in battle.

You can challange gyms and other trainers, but be fair about who wins and who looses. Keep in mind that you have to batttle to be strong. 

Canon characters STAY OUT OF THIS RP unless you get all the way to the elite four. I will controll them for you if you get this far.

No Potions/antidotes/berries are to be used in battle. You can use them after battle or visit a pokemon center.

You can own up to EIGHT pokemon. I know that the usual number is six, but pokemon are just that awesome, so you can have more for this.
