I was freezing cold and soaked to the bone. This rain was unrelenting and was making me miserable. For whatever reason, I kept sneezing. It appeared that now because of the rain, I might be getting sick. "That is just great. I wonder if I really can trust those Sohmas, I mean, they have not handed me in. They probably don't even know about the fact that almost the whole Sohma family is out looking for me. Why, I have no clue what they want from me."

Eventually, I cautiously approached the house. The snake Sohma owned this house. Slowly I made my way towards the door of the Sohma's house. I gently scratched the door, doing my best not to leave a mark. "Please let me in," I muttered softly. Cold and soaking wet, I decided that I was tired of running away and the thought of a warm house was too tempting to ignore. People were moving inside but I wondered if they would even bother letting in a muddy tiger into a house. If I had to, I could just curl up on the porch and hope that passersby would not see me.

As I waited for the storm to pass, the snake Sohma told me that I could stay at his house. Maybe these Sohmas were not as bad as I thought.'Perhaps there is another side of the Sohma family that I have not seen. It is kind of odd how the dragon Sohma does not have any guards next to them though. I wonder why.'

Before I walked into his house I shook off all the mud that I could. This Sohma was kind enough to let me stay in his house for the night. The least I could do was to make sure that I did not muddy up his floors. The cat called him Sakoya. So that was his name. Soon the cat was curled up next to the couch, listening to what I had to say about myself. "My name is Sora Sohma," I said extending my paw. I drew it back because it almost looked like I was trying to bat at someone. Awkardly, my ears went back. "Sorry, I am not used to being around quite so many other Sohmas."

I had been sleeping soundly when I was waken up by a harsh argument. By the sound of it, it sounded like the cat and the dragon were fighting. Somehow, that did not surprise me. When the dragon scraped her claws against the counter, I could not help but snarl. It really hurt my ears! What was she trying to do?! Deafen me?! Part of me knew that it hurt Miya's ears too. She had sensitive ears like mine. I hoped that Miya was her name but I was not entirely sure what their names were.

Meat was being hacked to pieces when I got to the kitchen. The dragon girl carried away a pile of ham that looked as though she hacked it to pieces, which she probably did. I wanted whatever Sakoya was cooking. It smelled really good. After pausing midstep, I remembered that he did not like people sneaking up on him, much less a tiger. He would be likely to panic, seeing an almost fully grown tiger right behind him. When I came up, I tried to purr, so he would hear me coming but it sounded more like a choked or smothered purr. This was the first time that I had ever purred, or tried to for that matter.
