A growl rumbled from deep within Sola's throat as sunlight momentarily blinded her. He appeared as if magic from within a cave, examining with nutural interest the surroundings. The world, or atleast this area, was a dull grey and black color, much like the side of a mountain after it erupts and destroys everything. Sola cast a yawn, uninterested in the distruction. Everything died eventually, atleast she got to whitness it.

Sola turned and leaped atop a rock near the cave, just bellow the ragged cliff. She circled once, twice, before cruling up into a mound of teeth, claws, feathers, and fur. She cloaked herself with her wings, their stark white contrasting heavily with the area.

Miikaelia was watching the Demon from afar with interested eyes, the double rings wavering only slightly as the pupils dilated to adjust to the stark contrast between dark gray and white. It hummed softly, not noticing the small quirk of the corner of its lips lifting upwards. It, personally, found the destruction a hinderance, and that was only because it knew one thing to be true for its future. Destruction like this? It would make hunting for animal (though it didn't mind the occassional stay traveler) blood harder.

With that thought in mind, Miikaelia stood from the window and went over to the door, grabbing its hood and parasol on its way out. After all, the sun really did burn, just not as much as people thought it did.

Sola heard a noise, no, more like the whisper of an echo from some unknown distance. She held her form, pefectly still with the surrounding area. Her eyes narrowed, focusing upon a flake, hardly a speck, of ashen dust float from the air in gental, hypnotizing swinging motions to settle upon her paw. She let it rest there, for only a moment, before a gentle sigh of wind carried it on its way. Much was as life, a simple stop on some planet or demention before drifting to whatever stop was next. Sola pulled her wings tighter to herself, cloaking her body in the mound of feathers.

Miikaelia followed the wind the best that it could, occassionally losing sight of the white feathered Demon when the dead trees fell beyond its vision. It then saw the demon, a smile pulling at its lips. Something about the Demon interested it for whatever reason. It seemed to be so distant, as if it was trying to block out the world as it was and trying to focus and relish in the destruction.

Well, the Vampire decided that it would talk to the Demon. What could be more fun than trying to annoy such a distant beast?

"Hello, Mr. Demon," Miikaelia cooed, its voice sounding as if both a man and a woman were speaking in unison. "How do you do?"

Sola's ears silently flicked, catching the sound of a vampire before it. Her eyes narrowed, but other than that there was no noticed given to the creature. Sola was slightly offended, considering the Vampire, by the smell of it, had just called her a male, which she was not. Sola stood, perching on her rock for a moment before turning around so that her back was to this Vampire, and settled back on the rock. Her wings currled around her, wrapping her in a protective cacoon and preventing the Vampire from seeing anything but her back. She hoped the he/she, again by the mixed smell, would leave her be and continue on its way.

"Oh, did I insult you just now?" Miikaelia asked the Demon with a tilt of its head, its multicolored hair falling slightly in its face. "You know it is somewhat hard for someone like me to identify the correct gender of such a magnificent creature, such as yourself." It grinned a goofy grin. "I'm sorry for insulting you, Miss Demon. I stand corrected."

It glanced around at the destruction and the grin fell slightly. "I dare say, if I may ask, were you the one responsible for all of this destruction?" it asked the Demon seriously, quirking a brow at her.

Sola found this vampire to be very annoying, obviously not taking the hints it was being given. The only thing the kept Sola from ripping the Vamp to shreds was her own descipline, the kind she had only gotten over many years. Instead, she stood and turned to face the Vampire, her ears flat to her head. "Leave."

Her voice was very demonic sounding (probably because she was a demon) and came out like the growl of a car engine. After saying that single word, Sola spread her wings, extending quite imprssively, and launched herself a good seven feet up the cliff face. She perched on the rock for a spare moment, gauging her next jump, before she jumped another good four feet up to an isolated rock, efectivly making it impossable to climb and reach her.

The rock wasn't big enough for her to lay on, so she curled her body around it instead, resting her paws on its top. She then rested her head down, staring at the cliff face away from the Vampire, quitely listening for its leave.

Oaglor had just killed a deer in the woods for himself to eat. As he was walking around with the deer over his shoulder, he heard something he can only describe as a combination of thunder and lions. After this rumbling noise, Oaglor realized that he was at a clearing in the forest and noticed a mountain with a large cat-like being climbing up it. Somehow, he could tell this creature was sentient and may even help him in his quest to save the world.

Oaglor dropped the deer carcass in the clearing and went off to find some fire wood. He managed to find some sticks and chopped a couple of small trees to make the fire. After quite a bit of working using some flint, he finally lit up the wood.

Miikaelia dropped its smile and huffed slightly. "Rude, much...?" it grumbled softly to itself, shaking its head in disapproval. It fixed the parasol to fit in the crease of its elbow, cupping its hands around its mouth before calling out to the Demon. "You know that it is rude to just tell a guest to go away without guiding them out of the area, don't you, Miss Demon?" When it received no response, presumably due to her not hearing it, it shook its head. Well, it would just have to get the Demon's attention, now wouldn't it?

It bent down and picked up a handful of pebbles, taking one between its fingers. It then drew back its arm, sticking out its tongue in concentration as it attempted to aim. "I hope my aim is as good as I think it is..." it mumured. It then threw the pebble, landing the mark with a bulls-eye.

Sola ignored the words the vampire called up to her. She wanted nothing to do with the vampire or anything else in this world. Watching it die was the most fun she'd had in quite a long time. But that’s when a rock was thrown and hit her head.

Anger flared through Sola, sending her into a rage faster than she could blink. She spun and leaped from the cliff face, her wings spreading to control her landing. He fore-paws slammed into the vampire's shoulders, taking it down in a puff of dust. Sola stood over top of it, pinning it to the ground beneath her weight. "How dare you think you can waltz in and disturb me." Her voice was low, growling and angry. "I should kill you now, just for crossing my path." Her fangs were inches from the vampire's face, and her tail hissed in anger, its own fangs ready to inject a toxic poison.

The Vampire blinked once, twice, maybe a third time before it gave the Demon a sly grin that could be seen as coy. "Well, now, if you did that, then that would be no fun," it told her. "Oh, and by the way, most people would treat me to dinner before pinning me down to the ground." It stopped for a moment when it heard a rustling off to the right, a low growl following soon after.

"I think it would be wise to remove yourself off of my person before something bad happens..." it warned with a small frown, no longer wearing its grin.

The smallest roll in his shoulders, the tension in his muscles, the growl in his throat, and the narrow of his eyes would make any person think of Cerx as a predator. He had been watching over his Vampire friend and he had seen the exchange between him and the Demoness.

He wasn't pleased, to say the least.

With a battle roar, the Demon launched himself at the Demoness that had his friend pinned, tackling her from the side, thus pushing her off of Miikaelia and away. He stood on all fours in front of the genderless Vampire and growled protectively. His voice was gruff and worn, rarely used, "Paws off of my friend, fiend."

Sola's eyes narrowed, prepaired to ask the vampire what it meant by the warning when a large, heavy object hit her like a freight train. The went sliding across the dirt, sending her instincts into over-drive. Her claws dug into the ash, slowing her to a stop as she sprang to her feet. A fanged hiss was already making its way out as her wings arched and her tail coiled with its own hiss to make her feel better. She growled, eyeing the demon who had tackled her as he made his threat.

A demon friends with a vampire? What was this, some human made sitcom? Sola's voice was low and threatening. If it was a fight he wanted, it would be a fight he got. "I will do as a please." She spat. "I told that 'friend' of yours to leave me alone, and if I want to tear its throat out, I will. Do not get in may way, or you will end up the same." This was the language of demons, violence and anger. They we'ren't exactly the friendliest creatures.

Cerx growled lowly in warning, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "If you wish to harm my friend, you will have to beat me in a fight. It would be to the death, of course..." He was about to continue when he felt a hand on his head, scratching a single scale. He perked up and looked at the culprit.

It had been Miikaelia. He calmed and gave a soft sigh. In a language that the Vampire would be able to understand, he said, "I get it, I get it... Now hand off of my head." He shook away the hand and flicked his tail slightly.

Miikaelia placed its hand into its pocket, placing its parasol back over its head where it belonged. It was burning up now thanks its involuntary exposure to sunlight. "Come on, you two," it smiled. "You're both Demons here." It spun the parasol between its fingers. "Why don't we go to my house for tea? I'm sure that I can brew some right on up to quench your thirst."

With that, the Vampire turned and began to lead the way to its home, smiling cheerfully all the way. It wanted to discuss what was going on in the world, and tea would be a great way to break the ice.

Gone
Setting

A dying world. Chaos is everywhere, from fights for food to death everywhere. The planet is dotted with blackened areas that are void of all life. The area you are currently in is a mountain with a forested base, but that is quickly dying as well. Soon, nothing will be left.

Plot

The world is dying again, and you must save it by finding the lost tablet that may or may not be real. The Blackness, as many call it, started in a few places, but slowly spread like a creeping vine does up a tree. Everywhere it goes, it leaves behind desolate blackened earth that nothing can grow or live in. Many dangers await you on your parlous journey, and many friends will guide you; but beware: Not all is as it seems.

History

Long ago, the world crumbled, vanishing from existence. Creatures and plants began to die. Everywhere, things were becoming ash, being destroyed by an unknown force. They knew not what to do; or how to survive in this morbid place. Some remembered a better time many did not.

The Great Phoenix rose from the ashes of this dying world, and showed the creatures how to live in peace and harmony, and thus save the dying world. Before he died, the Great Phoenix wrote a Stone tablet, telling future generations how to save the world incase death approached again. However, it also gave clue how to destroy everything, thus it was hidden, long lost by history.

Rules

1) Typical rules. :P I will eventually type them out, but right now; I'm to lazy.

*Regarding Dragons*

This is meant to be an every creature RP. I know dragons are great, I love them to. But, because people tend to power-play with dragons, each person is limited to 1 dragon. If to many dragons are here, I may temporarily ban any more dragon characters from joining. So maybe 1 non dragon character as well would be best. :}

A dragon can only be of 1 element, and that determines species.

Fire Dragon ~ Western Dragons

Earth Dragon ~ Eastern Dragon

Water Dragon ~ Water dragon?

Death Dragon ~ Wyvern

Poision Dragon ~ Hydra (7 head max)

Normal Dragon ~ Any species, but has no powers.

You can suggest an element, but give me a species you think it should be. :)
